Wow, I can't believe I'm the first person to review this story! I think, somtimes, readers forget how important it is to give feedback; to let the authors know what they think and how they feel (whether it be good or bad).
I am, personally, enjoying this fic. Choosing to write a back story on Seto Kaiba is such a great idea becuase there really isn't much there to have to work around. You can almost write whatever you want. I've thought about piecing together a back story myself, since Seto Kaiba is my fav character. I just haven't gotten around to it since I would like to finish Dragon Slayer first.
Your story is very intriging...I find the mind games between Gozaboro and Seto to be fascinating and you certainly write them well. Mental abuse was always Gozaboro's weapon of choice followed closely by the threat of physical enforcement. And, of course, the threat of constantly using Seto's greatest weakness against him (Mokuba) is what finally drives Seto to take control of his life, for both their sakes. But when you started the story off with the dog and Seto being forced to kill the poor thing...it immediately puts a person into two mindsets. One, you feel sorry for him and the things that he's forced to do, even to his own brother, and two, you kinda hate Seto for it...you want to stop and ask, "There must have been another way?" but you know there wasn't and that brings you back to pity. But then, a true Seto Kaiba fan would never feel sorry for the great Dragon Master because they would understand that Seto "chose" his path, willingly.
Anyway, keep up the good work...I can't wait to read more. Especially with the development of Seto and Jou's relationship. Puppyshipping rules!!! 'Til next chapter.... ;)
