AWWW this chapter was really cute! I hope they can get off the island safely. Although, if hot headed Marik had maybe been thinking a little better he would have tried to find a phone and called either Pegasus or Kaiba and let them track the call while no one knew he was in the house before he went and rescued Ryou. So then people would know they were alive, relatively safe, and also have a better chance of being found. Maybe even get the woman busted for kidnapping people and dragging them to her island. But Ryou is right, Marik isn't known for really thinking things through, and it would most likely affect whatever plans you have for the plot. I enjoy this story so much, I can't wait to see what else you have planned for it!

this chapter is awesomesauce, but you need to go back through the last third or so of the chapter. a whole bunch of text is written out like this:

Ahmose Inarus: "Angel is beautiful." Spunky said softly, licking her cheek. "VERY beautiful."

Konekomallychan: Angel frowned slightly. 'Why did you do this for me?' she asked, uncovering her face. 'I've been nothing but mean to you...'

Ahmose Inarus: Spunky stared at her. "I love you." He said, nuzzling her.

which made for rather confused reading. But I loved the chapter and I'm glad they have grown a bit. Oh I hope that Ryou will still want to see Marik after that awful time last time. And would the pride REALLY accept them. literally asking Ryou to go into the lion's den with that one. can't wait to see how it turns out!

I always feel so sorry for Marik, he always gets the short end of the stick, no matter what, and Ryou always ends up bleeding. It would be highly entertaining if during the lion festival, Marik suddenly ages enough to go seek Ryou out on his own. where the heck are they now where hybrids hunt hybrids? have they completely forgotten the fact they are human and just given in to their animal instincts?

Good as always! though some of your editing might need work, you get a lot of random bits of conversation into your chapters. Keep up the good work and *prods* post faster!

AWWWW! ^_^ ok that was seriously cute in a major way! awww Marik romancing Ryou was probably the most precious thing I have ever seen! do you have pictures of all the hybrid rabbits? I'd love to see what they all look like, although Dust is a personal favorite, I love all of them and think they are all cute. and Trigger is hilarious! He makes me laugh so much every time! I would love to see how he appears in your minds.

This story is good in so many ways, this whole series is! And it's heartbreaking at the same time. Oh I do hope they will be alright, they seem to be replaying the same actions as when they were first going through all of this. I hope they get their memories and their bodies back soon, perhaps once Marik has managed to work out some of his issues.

Although, I have to admit, their punishment of Marik, not only seems excessive, but they are going about it all wrong by only disciplining him for misbehavior and saying he's being bad, without SHOWING him how to be good and correct it. They are telling him he's doing something wrong without giving him an example of how to do it right. I know they are trying to use Ryou as an example, but ignoring Marik while flattering and spoiling Ryou will only make Marik jealous and angry, not correct the issue or his behavior. (And yes I am a parent of twins, and a very hands on aunt of eight, three of which are triplets, so I do have some experience here.)

Locking him up in a room by himself for an indefinite period of time isn't a smart idea, especially since he has socializing and abandonment issues, it will only cause more harm since it won't teach him how to cooperate and share, and he really will feel abandoned. Marik stopped being angry almost immediately, yes he lashed out again later, but for the most part he was just terrified of being alone, and that's what Pegasus did, he left him alone for hours, afraid and scared, with no one to calm him down or comfort him, and the one person who tried was forcibly removed and eventually locked out, reinforcing the fear... The maid didn't even acknowledge his existence even though he was crying. He can't see Pegasus as someone who cares, because he only sees him as someone who hurts him and makes him afraid, not to mention keeps him away from what he truly wants.

Telling him not to be angry, or punishing him for it and saying that it's bad, or to just stop being angry will never work, or if it does he'll be worse off because he'll bottle it up. (and we've all seen where THAT leads... violent lashing out, extensive stints in therapy or complete detachment.) Positive or not, they are his emotions and he is as entitled to them as much as anyone else whether he's a kid or not. Kids can't always express their feelings, since they don't always know what they are or they don't understand them. They pretty much only know if it's a good feeling or a bad one, and if they can't properly express it, it just frustrates them, then many times they'll need help calming down.

Ignoring a tantrum that lasts for more than five minutes is not a good way to handle things since you are still letting the child control the situation, and the situation isn't going anywhere. Leaving a child to scream and cry until they wear themselves out isn't just stressful on the kid it's stressful for everyone else too. Find a way to calm the child down, not necessarily make him happy, but to make them calm down. Marik needs an outlet for his anger. He needs to understand that it's perfectly fine to be mad and angry and hurt and confused, but it's not okay to take it out on others. Marik would probably really do well with a heavy duty scratching post and an open line of communication with someone.

When my girls get mad, and believe me, they have some serious tempers! (It's a redhead thing) We have come up with positive ways for them to deal with their anger over the years since I will not permit screaming in my house. They can primal scream all they want outside, as long as they are by themselves when they do. My eldest will go into the garage and practice her Karate, sometimes for hours until she calms down. My youngest wages a vicious war against dirt, dust bunnies, and disorganization to an almost OCD level until she's wound herself down. They have also been known to go out and start weeding the garden, read, start baking cookies, play Katamari Damacy, cuddle with one of our numerous pets, or even go out and ride their bikes. Then when they no longer want to kill each other, we sit down in the living room and we talk it out. when one is talking the other is not allowed to interrupt, and I do not take sides. I simply mediate and make sure that both of them say everything they want and need to say, even if we have to eventually agree to disagree.

And yes, I really have rambled on this long over a completely fictional character, but it just means I care about your story enough that I don't mind telling you exactly how I feel and what I think. I hope you update again soon.
