This was a wonderful story. I really would like to take that day either but it's not possible in my kind of job.
I admit I never heard of that day before but I like what it stands for.
And so is the story. Sweet, silent and sensible. Very good work.

I liked this. I really, really like this. I don't live in America, but the idea of 'The Day of Silence' intrigues me. Thank you for a fic with a little more meaning behind it.

I like this fanfic. Everyone should know more about the day of silence especially Yoai fans and people who know anyone whom is anything that is discriminated against. Thanks for spreading the word!!

Wow! I had never heard of that before. That was a good story! Is it true? That there is a day of silence? Great cause to support!

Thank you for making me aware. I pride myself on knowing, most of what is going on around me, but this is the first I've heard of this silent protest. I also think knowledge of it should be widely spread. I'm glad that you found a way to do so. The Silence should be heard.

This was a cute story. While I do not support political Correctness and yes that day of silence has something to do with it, everyone in this country and the world needs to realize that no two people are alike whether they are black, white or whatever they are. Not even two white people are alike. We are all individuals no matter what background we come from and should be perceived as such, not as one of the masses or the number. When you make a friend, see the soul, not the outside. If you can heighten your awareness of others that way, you'll be great as a person. I never made friends based on appearance, popularity or race. Remember, that Day of Silence could backfire like everything else. If they did that in the work place that would give more people incentive not to talk to each other. Remember to be yourself. I always go by that. If people would grow up in a sense, we would all get along and not be taught a word called "Tolerance" which I personally think is grossly missused as a word (the word to me is still a form of tolerating racism). I don't think I want to be tolerated for my differences. We have to come up with a better way to get along.
