Good chapter. I hope there is a third part. This doesn't seem to be ending well.

Good chapter. Poor Mokuba the only innocent in all this.

Damn you Sal, this is going to be one long review. . . .

In all honesty, I thought something would happen to Mokuba, as that soul needed to be reunited. But why did Jou lose the plot? Okay, he was told that Kaiba killed his sister, but did he? You never did say what happened at the tournament. And it wouldn't surprise me if sweet little Yuugi didn't do something to send Jou off the deep end. Moswen was put in his position, but he never seemed controlling. Yuugi appears to be the one in control, even though it looks like Yami is taking care of him. Too sweet, too innocent, too much of a 'good' thing? Pollyanna with poison up his sleeve?

You might want to leave this fic verse for awhile, but there is certainly a third story here. There are things that still have to be answered, solved, explained etc etc.

Yami is very dependent on Yuugi, too dependent as far as I'm concerned (but then who am I in the scheme of things)

Is Kaiba now 'whole'. Does he remember, does he have answers? Is Mokuba dead? REally dead? Kaiba seems to calm for someone who just lost a brother. . .even if his soul is now whole. . .

And even though Yami refers to Seto as a 'lover' he still is bound by the past. Can he ever get beyond it and create a new future, minus Yuugi?

As I said earlier, Damn you Sal. . . this is no happily ever after ending, this isn't even an ending. . it's more of an apex, with (at the moment) no solution in sight.

Did I enjoy it - I don't know, it all depends on if this is it.
If it is, then I feel as if I've been left in mid air waiting for a mythical ending to appear.(ducking for cover, as author runs after her with bat in hand)

I'm glad you know where you are going with this, because I sure has hell don't. Mokuba (the silent conscience,) just stands there and watches. - O kaaay. . .

(I know I said no more questions, so I lied. . .lol) What does he know, and how much does he understand? If he's the angel, then he's not a very active one, is he?

I'm sure the bondage part took place in the basement of this very strange house. So the first floor is dead egypt? the Goazabura years?, second floor life, basement. . hell? redemption? rebirth?

Yami is not Atemu - yet. If Kaiba is able to 'rebuild him' will he be a combination of the 2, or will the Atem personality dominate, thus recreating the Seth personality in Kaiba (which though more sympathetic really might not be a good thing as then the old cycle from the past might restart. . .

And of course there is the question of Yugi. Where does he fit in the mess?

I can go on and on, but the good news is I won't (for now. . .lol)

Looking forward to the next update. .

Good chapter. Seto is mean and yet not. What will happen to Yuugi and Jou? I think that those two once they have settled their differences will be good together. Maybe Yuugi and Jou together? I love it.

OK, no more questions because you are not going to answer them are you? What I think? Symbolically, I think Yugi is a blood sucker. He cannot be left on his own, but needs someone constantly around. Hence his fear when Yami tells him he is going, but turns calm when he hears he will be left with Jou and then lies next to him, craving contact of sorts.

Mokuba - well so far he seems to be the only voice of reason in this story. Perhaps the only sane one as well. Would love to see a chapter that lets us read his notebook. I'm sure his thoughts would shed some light here.

Would still like to know the tournament story. Hope you do tell it and not gloss over. I'm still hoping that Yami got it wrong and Kaiba is not the villian in that story. Or at least not the total villian. . .

Look forward to the next update - whenever it comes

Good chapter. Kaiba really is a bastard. I wonder if it left over from ancient times. Of course, it is. He still can't forgive the two of them. I hope the three together can succeed.

Ok, I'm completely lost now. And I have alot of questions, I know I'm not going to get an answer to, but here it goes anyway.

Why didn't Jou know when his sister died? Why was Kaiba the one who told him she died, and that it was in a car crash? What did happen at that last tournament?

Is Yami protecting Yuugi with this 'story'? Is this a story of Yuugi's invention and Yami is along for the ride, because after all this is Yuugi. . .

Why would Kaiba want to kill Yuugi in the first place (mind you I can think of a few good reasons why I would like to kill him right this minute and I keep thinking he is a manipulative little twerp that can twist things to his advantage. . .)

I really don't know where you are going to go with this, I just hope that Kaiba does not become the villan, and that this is just a red flag to add a twist to the tale.

Hope to see some answers soon

Good chapter. Kaiba sees himself as dead unless Mokuba is with him. I guess he won't be helping Yami and Yugi anytime soon. Unless he has them take Joeu's place. Yugi seems to be very simple minded and not bothered by anything in their lives.

Glad you got a chance to update. Hope things going well at your end.

As to the chapter, those mythical g-ds really play mean don't they?

To be fair, Atemu was already gone by the time the wall was made, so he never saw the original. But to be honest, he never saw beyond his nose anyway (which is why this mess happened in the first place.) So why would he see a difference in the stone?

Especially now, when he only seems to center on Yugi. Before, at least, he still 'noticed' (and took advantage of) the High Priest.

As to the house, the hell on earth for one Seto Kaiba. Is there a third floor with hope and redemption in its reach?

As to why Mokie is the only one "named", Ok, I'll take the punt. . .Can a man not trust and recognize his soul?

The 'light' half of his soul died when Atemu died. All that was left was the 'mad' shell that had to continue to exist.

In this era, for the most part they are split(and I'm sure that being raised by Gozabura didn't help either), so the dark Seto, did all he could to keep his brother safe. His vessel, the one thing that kept him 'alive' if not sane, kept as pure as possible, while he, the dark, became bcame more lost.

All the things he doesn't remember, but despises, 'faith, trust, being weak.' This is how he saw himself in Egypt. No wonder he abors these concepts. A future pre ordained? Atemu destroyed all hope in that man. And as I said the g-ds play mean.

looking forward to the next update

Hmm. This chapter kinda confused me... or maybe that's just 4 hours of sleep talking. Oh well, I'l wait for next chapter to explain this random compulsion Yugi and Yami have to be at the museum.

    Have fun in Florida

    Keep up the good work!

Good chapter. Kaiba is still not so nice and very angry at Yami still. I hope he will help them anyway.

You do realize that by making Yugi the way he is, I'm really ready to kill the manipulative little twerp. And Yami seems to be in his thrall, without a chance of breaking free. Yet, why the museum? And why does Kaiba turn up like that. It would seem that the g-ds do like to play with their toys. And what exactly does Yami remember from the past? I wouldn't think much, as Yugi seems to have a strangle hold on him in the present.

You've done a wonderful job of making everyone unstable. Now the next question is how unstable/stable do they become throughout the story? Would Yami break if something happened to Yugi. Would Yugi break if Yami went off with Seto. (which in turn goes back to the first question.) Seto is already broken, can he be pieced back together? And of course who is going to be the voice of reason here? Someone has to have a brain to see what is going on.

So I will wait (im)patiently for the next chapter. Damn this is good . . .
