    I spent the past 3 days binge reading this story and oh how I love it. I know it's unlikely to ever be finished, but it really is a work of art and you deserve to know that. Some things are a bit dated, such as using the R slur, but the story is no less fantastic. 

    I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I want you to know that in a lot of ways I connected with both Joey and Kaiba on a personal level. Both the fear of letting someone in and the desperation to be needed, valued, and loved really got to me.

    It was both heartbreaking and painfully realistic to see Joey hesitating to leave a bad situation. It's so much harder to leave a monster when they're not explicitly cruel.

    I really wish I could make sure you saw this, but the social's you provided are all either inactive or gone.

    At first I couldn't decide if I loved or hated this story. I don't mean that the story was poorly written, just that I wasn't sure I was happy with what was happening! I continually said, "Jou, what the hell are you doing? Kaiba! Don't say that! You are such a baby!" Yeah, so I do REALLY REALLY like this story, I'm just on edge for what's going to happen next. I have no trust in Jou's "boyfriend". He's too hot and cold. I have to say that the last few chapters, especially when Jou started a hot make out with Seto, have sealed the deal for me and I'm totally hooked! I'm sitting on the edge of my seat right now waiting for the next chapter and trying to be patient, it's not easy.

    I really like how you don't rush things and how they slowly happen on their own. I don't feel like the story drags and that excites me as most stories I come across are short and to the point or dragged out like Inuyasha (to the point where I forget the plot altogether until 2,935 chapters later when it's "back on track")! Keep up your pace! I can't wait to see how Seto really felt about everything. Jou realized it was even better than he imagined. I'm wondering if Kaiba felt the same or not.

    Wha~~~ its me again. Three new chapters, like BAM! :D oh man here came the drama. I love it though. From my own experience, that's what its like when having a heated discussion and two opinions just aren't matching up (talking about the entire time Jou and Seto are locked in). Of course the end of that was a moment worth remembering, and it seems Jou thinks so too what with his next awkward date. Yeah something seems off with Kitamura, I hope Jou figures it out soon (wha~ I'm rooting for you Jou!)

    I'm kinda bummed out just like Jou about Kaiba being the sensible and responsible one (as usual) and deciding not to screw my favorite blondie's brains out. Maybe next time then.

    I'm also just as skeptical as Jou when it comes to his and Kitamura's "relationship". It's nice that he took Jou shopping and whatnot, along with showing some boyfriend like tendencies but I am still unsure if its real or some ulterior motives involved besides sex. I just wish Seto would stop being an ass and take what's rightfully his. I don't want Jou developing any real feelings for Kitamura just because of Kaiba's stubbornness.

    I like this story very much. I love fanfiction that tries to take place in a realistic setting, and such. You really built a world and a certain atmosphere. After the first few chapters I was like, "augh! why so much about Kitamura! I want to go back to Kaiba and arguing!" since you write their scenes so well. Their build-up is slow, I like that. After chapter 7 and onward though I am getting why there was a lot of emphasis on Kitamura.
    I think I had a heart attack at the part where Kaiba pretended to be charming, while they were waiting for Mokuba at the festival. It was so exciting and funny, but all because that sort of scene was used sparingly and well timed.
    I like Jou's train of though, it flows so naturally. Although, I get excited sometimes and when someone speaks, I get impatient and wonder 'omg what is so-and-so's reply!?' and skip to the next paragraph to read a sentence of dialouge. Then I go back and re-read the paragraph again properly without skipping. I do that a lot when a story is just so riveting.

    I love this story as is, and await the next chapter.

    Wheeee updates!! And they were excellent ones, as usual. Your story is so very real - not sugar-coated or cheesy. I love how you get into the characters' head. And Joey's wet-dream?     Oh my goodness. I can't believe I am just now stumbling across this fic. This is my first review for your story but I actually read all 7 chapters before deciding to drop a review. I must say I am beyond impressed with this story. I love how you don't make Jou and Seto so lovey dovey off the bat like most puppyshipping tend to do. The hostility that they have (and perhaps pent up sexual frustration) those two have are interesting to see unfold. It's a little saddening to see how the old gang have not made an appearance. It's kinda weird to think that Yugi, Anzu, And Honda would just abandon Jou like that after high school. It's obvious that Jou needs some guidance from making constant foolish mistakes. Including his sexual escapades with Kitmaura. Despite how weird he is, I actually like his character since he at least tries to take care of Jou in a sugar daddy type of way. I'm curious how long Jou will keep this destructive relationship up (Kaibe needs to stop being a douche and get his puppy back!). There's so much I want to say and comment on about this fic, but I'm tired and my fingers are going to give out soon. Anyway, I look forward to future chapters.

    I squealed once when I saw this story was updated, and I squealed again when I saw there was more than one new chapter! I LOVE THIS STORY!! You have an amazing way with words and getting in characters' heads. The uncomfortable silences between Jou and Seto are so intense that I feel awkward myself while reading them, lol. Can't wait for another update! Thank you for an awesome hour of pure entertainment!
