Reviews for Colors of the Soul

Hello. I would like very much to thank you for inventing such a thought-provoking and imaginitive work. What I expected to find was a story, but instead I found a piece of the auther's very mind and soul, if it doesn't seem to strange to say. That is to say, it was immediately clear to me that quite a lot of thought was put into carefully weaving this story to make it capture the reader, always wanting to read more, to know what is yet to come. I find myself pausing at various intervals in the story to attempt to piece together the thoughts of each of the characters, to decipher Yami's strange code and to hypothesize of how it will affect the characters in later stories. This is, without a doubt, the most creative and remarkable piece of fan fiction I have ever read, and once again it would be my pleasure to thank you for writing it. Please continue, as I would like very much to find what happens next.

Wow. Another excellent chapter. Yellow-white - Mokuba is Seto's hikari, the light of his heart, like Yugi was to Yami... and now Yami needs a hikari, a Light, to function. Also, I think Yami needs his whole 'family'. I think a part of him knows this and his trying to get the message across to his cousin.

I say again, I love the way the relationships are working. You're characters are wonderful and deep, and the writing is excellent.

    Thank you for the update.

Interesting problem to work out. Hmmmm....Yami either feels abandonded by Yugi or that he left Yugi alone. Probably a mix of the two? You have me so hooked on this and trying to figure out what's wrong with poor Yami! I'm loving ths story so much. Thank you for updating!!

Wow. Just... wow. This is one of the best stories I have read on AFF.net in a LONG time. Your research and the amount of love and effort your putting into this story is just incredible... I love it. Even if I want to dump Jii-Chan into the Sea of Japan for abandoning Yami like that.

Kudos to you for actually using Seto and Yami's ancient relationship as a basis for this one, and not making it prideshipping... there are too many stories where they would have a sexual relationship, and that just isn't realistic under the circumstances. I would venture to say it's criminal.

Excellent stories, both of them, and I will be watching to see how this plays out in the end.

Gods, I can't get over just how well you have tapped into the minds of the characters. It's incredible. Yami's unbalance - he's missing the white..the yin part of the equation. That's what's driven him to this, hasn't it? *sighs* Ra, I have been crying off and on through this story. Thank you so much for crafting such a tale!!!

Wow! I like how your series in general and this story in particular is going. The writing and plotting are excellent. Yami speaking in colors is a twist that is most refreshing. I'm looking forward to reading more...

Adored the chapter, as always, dear. I'm glad Yami's making progression without too much trauma following him in the process, then again, it may be too soon to tell (not that I expect one thing or another in the future, your fic has be captivated as is =D ).

I love the way Seto and Mokuba interact, you have it done very naturally without losing their characterization.
Wonderful job, I look forward to what you have instore for the next chapters ^^
    *hearts & love*

Wonderful chapter. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I had a tear or two in my eyes while reading. Your use of words to radiate emotion still enthrall me, and the vividness of what's occurring makes it hard to believe I'm reading rather than really watching everything unfold.
Hurrah for the use of colors in deeper meaning. Yami's 'formula' about being invisible is still such a powerful statement, and wholly understandable considering everything he went through and lost. And his new speech is very thought provoking, I'm amused in a serious way.
Much love for you and the fic *hearts* I adore it and look forward to what shall come.

    Dear Gods, a sequel *hearts*
I still adore the previous fic, proven by the fact I've reread it several times, and now knowing that there is another to follow it makes me happy in ways I can't quite explain.
Wonderful writing. I look forward to what you will present in future chapters, more so since pschological fics are hard to come by, especially those done as well yours.
    Much admiration!
