HELL YEAH!!! I not so overly evil abusive dad and a Jounouchi that isn't a big woman and just takes it. One guilty guy with issues and a son that will beat the crap out of him if need. I like yooou. ^__^ I don't think I've seen ANYONE write it this way before!

once again, I liked how you portrayed Jou's dad! He's not totally bad, he's sick and needs help.

I know there are a lot of KaiJou stories out there, but it's so hard to wade through all the junk to find a good fic. And your update rate is so enviable! Looks like Kaiba figured it out. It was sorta relieving that he would choose to find Jou anyways. However, I think he would be shocked at what he saw in Jou. *sighs* I doubt he would be used to comforting someone. After all, Jou just lashed out at Kaiba too. Talk about low self-esteem already.
Does Jou hate his mother a lot? He seems to resent it a lot.
