Ah, good old Tolkien. ^_^ I'm a fan, as well.
I'm not really sure how I like this fic - it's written very well, don't get me wrong! It's got a great Temple of Doom feel to it, but.. I don't know about how in character they all are. Granted, it is a pretty traumatic experience. Well, at any rate, I look forward to reading more, if only so I can see what happens next. ^_^
