Looking good, with the exception of one small thing. Yugi was in his 2nd year of highschool when he had the puzzle, and if 5 years have passed, he should technically be in college...unless he was held back. He couldn't possibly be a teacher cuz that would take at least a full 4 years of college, meaning he'd be in his last year...so maybe he's in the middle of his student teacher training? I dunno, I give up.
But yeah, that aside, this story is defintely looking good ^_^
