Hello to all. So when I was younger I use to write fanfic stories for YuGiOh all the time under a different username. So recently I have rediscovered those stories and I've found one that I never finished but I was actually liking a little where it was going. So I thought I would rejoin a forum and repost the story and finish it. I've went in and changed some of the wording. Of course re-reading it now I can definitely see some typos and grammar errors, so I definitely took care of those. The story features some of my own female characters. Well, I hope you all in enjoy it!!
~~~ Nothing….just a stare. Just a blank, pain-filled stare. That’s all she gave him. She didn’t even say anything. Couldn’t she had at least said something… She did. She apologized. Why would she apologize? The moment played in his head over and over like a bad montage. He didn't know why he did it. He didn't know how he could take it back. All he knew was that he had just lost the love of his life. `Dammit…dammit….dammit.' He recited as he banged his head against the wall. The night was so fresh in his mind. It was almost like a nightmare that would not go away, almost like he could just touch it and make it all change. ~EARLY THAT NIGHT~ "Come on, Yami, stay and have a drink with me." Anzu pleaded as she clung to him persistently. Yami shook his head in objection, "I can't. I have to get home to Zaire." Anzu frowned in disgust at the name. She hated that girl, mostly because she had a crush on Yami, but Zaire had already taken him. "Please, just one?" she said in her best sweet voice. "No." "Please." "I can't." "Oh, come on. Just one." She stated, this time in a seductive manner. Yami was getting annoyed by now and thanks to the girl’s death grip, he had no way of escape. "Ok, fine." Anzu's eyes lit up. "But only one." He confirmed. "That’ll work!” She replied excitedly. After several hours of taking shots and gulping down drinks, Yami was in a state of complete inebriation and lacking all forms of sense. "Yami, darling," Anzu stated seductively, "lets go somewhere private." She finished, nipping his ear playfully. Yami nodded and followed Anzu to the bathroom. Anzu looked around the pub spotting Zaire as she entered the bar. She also noticed that nosy bartender, Satire, also a friend of Zaire's, watching her. ‘Perfect.’ She thought to herself as she pulled Yami into the bathroom and immediately rid herself of her shirt and bra. Yami played carelessly with her breast as she undid his pants and thus their activities commenced. Zaire made her way over to her friend spotting her behind the bar. "Hey," she greeted with a smile, her golden eyes shinning, "have you seen Yami?" Satire looked at her blue-haired friend, giving a slight smile and a simple `hi' before debating with herself mentally about telling Zaire about Yami and Anzu. `She'll be devastated. I can't, but I have to. Maybe…" she trailed off seeing Zaire giving her a worried look. "Are you ok?" she questioned staring into Satire's chalk purple eyes. Satire nodded her head, "Yeah, I was just thinking about my…" she paused to think of something good, "…ring…I left it in the bathroom. I was worried if it was still there." Zaire shook her head; relieved her friend was all right, "I'll be more than happy to get it for you." She smiled. "Oh, will you? Thank you." Satire acted out. "I'll be back." Zaire called out to her. Satire sighed already feeling immense sorrow for the scene her best friend was about to witness. "I'm sorry, Zaire." She whispered to herself. As Zaire reached the bathroom she heard moaning coming from inside. That was disgusting; sex was a private, passionate thing. She knocked on the door timidly, but got no response. She knocked louder, but was only met by a slight scream. She sighed, frustrated. She took a deep breath and slowly opened the door, "Please forgive me, but I must get some-" she stopped when she saw the two on the floor. Crimson eyes looked back into that of the sun. The moment hitting him like a brick, he was on the bathroom floor with Anzu riding him and Zaire…Zaire was…watching. `Shit' was the first word that came to thought. Zaire stared back down at him in utter disbelief. She felt numb. She wanted to scream. She wanted to cry. She wanted to close her eyes and believe that it was just a dream. But all she could do was stand there in complete silence and stare. “Zaire.” Yami managed to squeeze out past the lump in his throat. The call of her name broke her from her trance. She whispered a light apology as she turned and ran from the scene. Anzu had a very victorious look on her face, but Yami was in complete shock. `Wait' tried to escape his lips, but it had got lodged in his throat. He quickly threw Anzu off him to retrieve his clothes. Anzu grabbed his ankle, "Don't go. Didn’t you hear her? She apologized for interrupting us. She doesn’t care." She stated the last part seductively. Yami looked at her with disgust and ran from the room and out the club in search of his wounded love. Once Yami had finally caught up with Zaire, she didn’t say a word. He apologized over and over and tried to explain, but she didn’t react. It was like she didn’t even recognize his presence. He would have taken anything at that moment: yelling, cursing, slapping…anything; but absence of emotion completely…it was the last thing he expected. Yami knew he had blown it. Zaire was very big on trust; he guessed it was from her messed up child hood, but he loved her and would do anything to get her back. After realizing that he wouldn’t get a response from her tonight, he gave up and headed home. He stripped down to his boxers and got into bed. How was he going to fix this? He rolled over and placed his hands over his face. Shame. Guilt. Regret.` Zaire, I love you.' He thought before he slipped into a restless sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Yami, you are screwed." Bakura commented after Yami had told him the whole story. "How could you do something so morbidly degrading?" Bakura took another bite of his hamburger, looking at Yami with amusement, "It's repulsive, debasing, revolting, nauseating-“ "OK, BAKURA," Yami stopped him, "I get it." Yami lowered his voice once he realized he was gaining stares. He sighed staring out the window wondering why he told Bakura, of all people, this vital information. He needed advice, not derision. The best person to talk to would have been Seto, but since Satire was his girlfriend and Zaire was Satire's best friend, the chances were he had already been converted to their side. Bakura looked at Yami seeing that this was really tearing him apart. He groaned realizing he was going to have to get serious. "Listen," he stated getting Yami's attention, "I'll tell Vie to talk to her and she can tell us everything she says, how about that?" Yami smiled slightly, glad his friend was trying to be helpful. "I think that's a wonderful idea, thanks." Bakura rolled his eyes, disgusted by the tender moment. "Yeah whatever, but you owe me. Now eat and stop drowning yourself in your own misery. You know she is incapable of going too long without at least hearing your voice." Yami chuckled knowing that was true, `Emphasis on the was', he thought sadly, taking a sip of his drink. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Strong calloused hands traveled slowly down smooth, tanned skinned. Lips dueled in a heated passion. Stray fingers danced in auburn hair. Blue sapphire looked into pale purple. "Satire," Seto breathed, "You'll never know just how much I love you." Satire smiled, "As long as I don't catch you with someone else on the bathroom floor." "I have a feeling this is getting personal." Seto joked. She slapped him playfully, "I'm serious. Zaire was truly hurt. You know how much she loves him." Seto pouted, "I know, but I think she should forgive him this one time. I mean you can do some crazy shit when you're drunk. You know that, you do work at a bar." "Yeah, and if I was working the side of the bar that they were on, I would had told that bitch to fuck off. I can't believe Yami actually stayed." Seto sat up seeing that they weren't going to end up doing what he had hoped to do earlier. "Koi, you know that Anzu can be pretty annoying and the only way to get rid of her is to do as she pleases." Satire readied herself for an argument; she loved a good debate; she was very combative, "Even screwing her?" she quarreled. Seto moaned; he should have stopped when he had the chance. "No tenshi, I'm not saying that." "Then what are you saying, Seto?" she was becoming pissed. "Can we just have sex, please?" Seto tried his best to look defenseless, but only succeeded in hitting a nerve. Satire stood sharply and grabbed her coat, "Thank you, Kaiba, you have just proven to me that guys have a one track mind and could careless about anything else, even a relationship. Good day." She walked out the door leaving Seto in a dumb state. `Crap,' he thought, `I don't know what just happened, but she called me Kaiba and that's never good.' He fell backwards on the couch in an exhausted manner, `Thanks for ruining it for us all Yami.' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please review!While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
