One Final Graven Kiss
This is my shortest chapter yet.
But I figured theres only so much a man
convicted of his best friends murder
can do in jail.

Chapter 12 - One Final Graven Kiss - Joey POV
/This is hell. Tis is worse than hell. My best friend is dead...
And they all think that I did it. How can they honestly think
that I would kill Tristan?/
I dissolved into tears for the thousandth time since my arrest.
I was sitting in the corner of my cell, hugging my knees to my
chest. I hadn't moved all night. I cried myself into an exhausted
sleep, resting my head on my knees.
I woke up sometime later to a commotion down the hall.
People were yelling, then I heard footsteps and Yugi peered
around the corner into my cell.
"Joey!" he cried.
I burst into tears again.
/Tristans dead.... They think I killed him.../
"Joey. I know you're innocent!" Yugi continued hurriedly.
I scrambled over and took his hand through the bars.
"I didn't do it!" I sobbed.
"I know. We're gonna get you out." Yugi replied.
"How?" I asked.
"We'll find a way!" Yugi yelled as he was dragged away by the
guard.
"We'll get you out of here Joey!" I heard Yugi cry.
"Yugi!" I yelled, reaching out through the bars.
He was gone.
/Of course Yugi believes me. He know me better than anyone./
For the first time since my arrest, I alowed hope to blossom within me.
I lay down on the thin mattress, my hands behind my head and I slept.
I had complete faith in my spikey haired friend.

And we're back to Bakura's POV.
