Okay guy�s here is chapter 12 to Love & Lost, there is
an important author note at the end of this so please read it!
READ AUTHOR NOTE IMPORTANT MESSAGE!

Ryou didn�t say anything for a long time as he simply stared
at Seto who had his head hanged low. Ryou wanted to say something to him, Ryou
loved him�he was the only one Ryou actually did love. Ryou shook his head
unable to handle the situation at the moment not knowing what to say or do.
Ryou glared at him slightly even though he probably couldn�t see it.
�Why didn�t you say something? Why now of all times? Why
didn�t you tell me this sooner?� Ryou asked
Seto sighed, �I didn�t want to hurt you�� Seto said trailing
off �If we were to actually become a couple, an official item I�m afraid all I
would do is make you miserable�I tried to make you hate me so this wouldn�t
happen.� Seto said
��You came damn close to me hating you, but then you have to
be all kind hearted and considerate toward my feelings, why couldn�t you just
not ever talk to me again. Why did you call me and talk to me, you never did
that before.� Ryou said
�I never had to do it before, you were always around and I
missed you so much I couldn�t do anything but call you�just to make the pain
stop.� Seto said wanting to yell and scream at Ryou but not wanting too at the
same time.
�Why must you complicate things so much, we could have
avoided all this if you would have just told me�for once in your life couldn�t
you not hide how you feel?� Ryou frowned �I do love you Seto, you know that and
you always have but I think your right on one point�being with you would make
me miserable.� Ryou said as he left the room.
Seto made a motion to follow him but fell to his knees in
total shock at Ryou�s words, he hoped Ryou wouldn�t hate him for saying what he
actually felt for once�He did lose the one person he loved but not because the
other didn�t love him�it was because Seto Kiaba loved him back. Seto once again
sat upon his bed curling up allowing a few silent tears to fall down his face
as he buried his face in his pillow just wanting to forget everything that
happened and then he broke down crying.

Ryou ran as fast as he could. �Stupid Seto! Stupid Joey!
Stupid me! Why do I have to love Seto of all people why couldn�t I just love
Joey or some girl at school why did it have to be him?!� Ryou mentally
screamed at himself as he ran down the dangerous road to home. He couldn�t help
but cry as he ran. Everything was so messed up, and it was mostly his fault, he
hurt Seto because he loved him, he hurt Joey because he couldn�t love him, and
he hurt himself for ever even trying to love in the first place. He tripped on
his way falling onto the pavement as he cried into his hands on the empty
street unable to do anything else.
�Ryou!� Joey called running up to him placing his hands on
Ryou�s shoulders although Ryou roughly pulled away from the soft touch and
glared daggers at Joey.
�Don�t touch me! You wouldn�t want to get your hands soiled
by touching me would you?� Ryou asked tears still streaming down his face although
they were angry tears now.
��Ryou I�� Joey began but Ryou cut him off.
�Don�t you even dare try to apologize! It means nothing and
you know it!� Ryou said running off again as Joey chased him.
Joey managed to catch him as he held him firmly by the arms.
�But I am sorry! I was drunk and I was angry! You let Seto hurt you so much
don�t you know you deserve better?!� Joey yelled.
�You hurt me worse than anyone has ever by saying what you
said!� Ryou yelled back trying to get away from him. �Seto had my best
intentions in mind whenever he hurt me, he hoped I would leave him so I could
find someone that could make me happy and love me like he wanted to, but just
couldn�t because he thought he would make me miserable. And it was all for my
happiness�he sacrificed his own happiness so I could be with someone who loved
me.� Ryou began to sob �I thought you could possibly care about me, but I was
wrong.� Ryou said pulling away from Joey.
�I didn�t mean to hurt you, I really did care about you but
I didn�t think you�d take the words of a drunken fool so seriously I was an
idiot and I�m sorry I didn�t mean a word of what I said to you.� Joey said
hanging his head.
�You�re apology doesn�t help Joey, I do forgive you and I
know you weren�t yourself but that doesn�t change the fact that I believed you
and I still do.� Ryou said running off this time Joey let him.
Joey�s heart reached out to the boy, Ryou deserved to be
with someone who truly loved him and as much as it pained him to admit it Seto
was that person. He turned and began to run toward Seto�s mansion, he would
knock some sense into that man if it killed him.

Once he rounded the corner, he ran straight into the CEO as
they both crashed to the floor. Seto glared angrily at Joey as he remembered
what he had said to Ryou as he stood grabbing Joey by the collar and slamming
him against the brick building.
�You son of a bitch!� Seto snarled. �Why the hell did you
say something so stupid to Ryou! Do you have any idea what you did to him! What
the hell is wrong with you! I thought you could care for him like I never could
but you just break him down, why the hell did you do that!� Seto yelled
slamming Joey against the wall a few times, as he yelled.
�how many times have you hurt Ryou! How many times did you
tell him you didn�t love him when you really did!� Joey yelled wrenching his
collar from Seto�s grasp. Joey glared �Please Seto, he loves you so much and
everyone but me thinks you hate him�I know you love him why won�t you tell
him?� Joey asked.
�I did�� Seto said as he chocked back a sob �He ran away
form me, he agreed that I would make him miserable and I don�t blame him, look
at what I�ve already done to him.� Seto said shaking his head.
Joey was shocked for a moment he had never seen the
corporate teen show any kind of emotion before and to see the said boy near
tears made his heart wrench painfully for what he contributed to their pain.
�Don�t just stand there, go after him you idiot�I�m sorry that I hurt him and I
tried to tell him I didn�t mean it but he wouldn�t listen to me, he needs
someone who actually loves him Seto, and I know you do.� Joey said.
�What�s the point? He basically told me he hates me, all I
do is hurt him.� Seto said
�That�s no good reason to give up on love, try to talk to
him, why were you running this way anyway?� Joey said as Seto sighed and ran
past him.
Joey sighed deeply �please Ryou, listen to him he really
does love you.� Joey said in silent hope that everything would turn out for the
better as he made his way home.
