Darkened Myth of the Night

Yami was about to make another swipe at him when he stopped, his large, sharp claws just inches from Yugi. Yami stared at Yugi quietly before he picked up Yugi gently from Kinoya’s back, placing him in the palm of his claw.

Aqua, from where he was, turned over to them and looked on silently, moving away from Diamond, Crimson and Raxades, the gold ring dropping off from his muzzle. Yugi covered his eyes, shaking slightly, thinking that Yami was going to try and devour him again until he felt a slight nuzzle by his side and he looked up to Yami. “Yami, do you remember me?” Yugi asked again. “I had a feeling I saw you somewhere before, but its very vague but it’s coming back to me.” Yami said quietly, a low tone in his voice now.

Yugi smiled a bit and hugged Yami’s snout. “Well, hopefully I can help you remember, I hate to see you and Aqua like this.” Then he turned over to where Aqua sat and saw that he was ok too, they still had the changes from the Orichalcos seal on their foreheads but at least they will stop attacking and killing now.

Crimson got up, a paw on his injured shoulder. “Well, now that this is taken care of, how about we get out of here before the other souls finds a disturbance through the air.” Crimson said theythey nodded. “Yeah, let’s get out of here.” Aqua said, the same low tone in his voice and he helped Diamond and Crimson onto his back and Raxades made another portal out of the Dark World and they left, Yami and Yugi staying behind for now.

Yugi looked up to Yami and kissed his snout gently and he smiled softly before he carried Yugi outside, closing the portal behind him. “I’m glad you’re back Yami, even though you and Aqua were changed again and this time for good, at least there was a way to get you two back before anything bad could happen to make me lose you two again.” Yugi said and Yami nodded quietly, walking back to their home as Aqua went to take Diamond and Crimson home.

Aqua landed by Diamond and Ryou’s home and helped them off his back, Raxades and Kinoya landing beside him. Diamond turned to them and smiled softly. “Kinoya, Raxades, thank you for helping us get Yami and Aqua back for Yugi.” Diamond said. Kinoya nodded. “It was nothing, we couldn’t let Anzu and Pegasus get away with their plans.” Aqua nodded. “Yeah, we would’ve felt bad if we had hurt you or Yugi in any way but I am sorry for hurting you Crimson, you too Diamond.” He lowered his head silently.

Diamond walked over to him quietly and placed a paw on his muzzle. “Don’t worry, its ok, you or Yami wasn’t in control of yourselves because of the seal but you two are ok now and Anzu or Pegasus will never show their faces around here or in the underworld anymore.”

Aqua looked to her and smiled. “Thanks Diamond.” Kinoya smiled and purred softly as Raxades nuzzled her snout softly with his own. Aqua raised his head again. “Well, I better get going now, thank you Raxades, Diamond, Kinoya and Crimson for helping me and Yami break away from Anzu and Pegasus control.”

Kinoya nodded. “Like I said, it was no problem but you should thank Yugi, he helped you two more than we could.” Aqua nodded and unfurled his large wings and flew off. Kinoya talked with Diamond and Crimson for a while until she and Raxades left also so Diamond and Crimson can go and rest for a bit.

Aqua landed at the door a little while later and went inside quietly. When he walked into another room, he saw Yami and Yugi curled up together and he smiled softly, going over to them and lay down next to them quietly, falling asleep also.

The next day, Yugi woke up quietly and smiled down at Yami and Aqua before getting up silently and walked over to the window, sitting on the windowsill, looking outside as a thought came to him. “I wonder, I always wanted to take care of a child of my own but I don’t know if I’m able to do that.” Unnoticed to him, Yami woke up after he left and walked behind him silently, wrapping his strong tail around his waist loosely.

“I think you are able to do so Yugi.” Yami said softly and nuzzled Yugi’s neck. Yugi closed his eyes and leaned back onto Yami, wrapping his arms around the Orichalcos demon’s* neck. “You might be right, I really want to take care of a child myself but I’m a male, I can’t bear a child for myself.” Yugi said sadly. “Don’t worry Yugi, we’ll find a way, I know we will.” Yami said, wrapping his own arms around him.

“Thank you Yami, you’re always here to help me.” Yugi said softly, nuzzling Yami’s neck. “It’s nothing Yugi, we will always be here with you for now on, no one will take us away from you anymore.” Yugi smiled softly and hugged Yami once more then got off the windowsill, walking back into the living room while Yami stayed by the window to look outside.

He gasped softly at what he saw and walked over to the still sleeping Aqua and kneeled down beside him picking up the large egg beside him. ‘Now where could you have come from?’ Yugi thought to himself as he went to sit beside Aqua. ‘Maybe my wish is coming true, I‘ll be able to take care of a child of my own even if he’s half demon.’ Yugi thought once more before he fell asleep again, holding the egg protectively against him just as Yami walked in and smiled.

‘I told you we will find a way to let you have your child little one and both me and Aqua will watch over you and your child.’ Yami thought as he lied beside Yugi and kissed his forehead softly before falling asleep too, never seeing the blond haired man watching from a nearby window.

“So the little brat and his two demons got themselves a child coming, well then I just have to take the egg before it hatches since they can’t protect it for long and take revenge on them for killing my boss with their own child.” The man said as he went to the open window at the front of the house and climbed in quietly and sneaked into the living room, sneering at them before he kneeled down, being very quiet and careful so he wouldn’t wake up Yami or Aqua and slipped the demon egg from Yugi’s arms before getting up.

Yugi whimpered softly in his sleep before turning on his side. ‘Keep dreaming cause you won’t be seeing your child anymore.’ The man thought as tarttarted leaving the room but unintentionally moved Yami’s tail slightly, jolting him awake. Yami looked to Yugi and saw the egg was missing and got up quickly, smelling the scent of someone else in the house and followed it, seeing the man about to jump out the window with their child.

He growled lowly, catching the attention of the man. ‘Crap, he’s awake, better make this quick.’ He was about to jump out the window until a claw wrapped around him and he was lifted into the air. “What are you about to do with our egg Keith?” Yami demanded, knowing his name like he saw him before. “Nothing that you need to know about demon.” Keith retorted back to him and Yami growled more before slipping the egg from Keith’s grimy hands and threw him out the window before closing and locking it then went back into the living room and placed the egg back into Yugi’s arms. ‘No one is going to take our child away, we’ll make sure of that.’ Yami thought quietly.

After he was thrown out the window, he growled as he got up, looking back to the house before running off, thinking of another plan how to get the child away from the two demons without them noticing and maybe others if he can find the location of the other demons.

In another part of the city, Jou and Kaiser walked with Seto and Ruby. As the walked through the park, Ruby stopped and Kaiser stopped also to look behind him then walked over to him. “Is there something wrong Ruby?” Kaiser asked as he rubbed Ruby’s side gently.

Ruby nodded as he started walking behind a bush in the park and lied down on his side, his breathing becoming slightly harsher. Kaiser followed him and kneeled down beside him. “Please tell me you’re going to be ok?” Kaiser said as he placed a paw on Ruby’s side again, feeling small ruptures around his stomach.

Ruby nodded again as he closed his eyes, pushing slightly on the pressure in his stomach. Kaiser watched quietly, hoping that Ruby wasn’t hurt until he saw something in the corner of his eyes and looked there, gasping softly as he saw a small half dragon/half sphinx demon being pushed out from Ruby.

‘But how, he’s a male demon. I guess there’s more to demons than I would ever know.’ Kaiser thought as he took of the shirt he was wearing to clean off the baby demon quietly as Ruby sat up once more as he heard the small mewls of the baby demon. Kaiser looked up to Ruby and smiled softly, walking over to him. “Well, this was a surprise but I’m happy, I always thought I would never get the chance to have a child of my own but you helped me get my wish, thank you so much Ruby.”

Ruby smiled and nuzzled Kaiser’s neck and wrote something in the ground beside him. ‘I’m glad to have made you happy Kaiser, you’re my mate so I would do anything for you.’ Kaiser blushed softly before he nuzzled Ruby back and walked with him from behind the bush and went to look for Jou and Seto, their small demon child in his arms, asleep.

Jou lied on Seto’s side, holding a small bundle of his own. After Ruby and Kaiser left, Seto felt the same discomfort that Ruby had and Jou was very worried about him but was shocked slightly when he heard the mewls of the small Blue Eyes White Dragon/Red Eyes Black Dragon demon being born but didn’t mind at all, he was Seto’s mate and the small demon was special to him and Seto.

Jou looked over to Seto quietly. “Seto, what should we name him?” Jou asked and Seto lifted his head and looked to him before he wrote something into the ground. ‘How about Rothin?’ He nodded. “Ok, that sounds like a great name Seto so for now on, his name will be Rothin.” He got up quietly, holding Rothin in his arms.

“Come on Seto, we better go and find Kaiser and Ruby, maybe we can go and see Yami, Yugi and Aqua for a while.” Jou said and Seto nodded, getting up from the ground and they walked off the find Kaiser and Ruby, never noticing Keith was watching them before running off once more, now making plans how to get Rothin from Seto and Jou.

Bakura sat in his room, feeling a bit uncomfortable be he knew why, he wanted to do this. Many demons, especially males, no matter what demon race they are, have a few chances at bearing a child for their mate without intercourse and he wanted to do this for Ryou, he has done so much for him and he wanted to give him something that he can cherish just incase something was to happen to him.

He grunted slightly as he felt the small demon making his way out of him and he used his tail to clean the small demon off the best he could as the demon was pushed out of him. Once he heard the small mewls of the baby wolf demon, he sat up and turned around, smiling down at the small silver-white and black wolf pup before he started licking the liquid off the pup and covered him so he wouldn’t get cold then went downstairs into the basement where Weevil was held.

Weevil looked up when he heard the door opening and whimpered pathetically as he saw Bakura. “Well, I don’t really feel like going for a hunt so I just have to use you.” Bakura said as he walked closer, Weevil backing up quickly until he was up against the wall. “What do you want with me?” Weevil asked, fear in his voice. Bakura growled. “Like I said, I don’t feel like going for a hunt to feed my mate’s newborn child so you will have to suffice until then.”

Weevil looked confused. “But how can that happen?” Bakura growled again and Weevil curled up in fear. “No more questions.” Bakura said as he lunged for Weevil, grabbing his leg in his mouth and sharp incisors ripped and good portion of flesh off his leg, hearing him scream in pain.

He didn’t pay no mind to Weevil as he got up and left the basement, closing and locking the door as he went back upstairs, going into his room and tear up the flesh into smaller pieces so the small pup can eat. He sat upon the bed, smiling softly as he watched the small pup eat then his sensitive hearing picked up the sound of the door opening downstairs and he could tell it was Ryou since Diamond was going to be out for a while with Crimson since most of their injuries healed overtime.

Ryou made his way upstairs and walked to Bakura’s door, knocking quietly. “Bakura, are you still in there?” Ryou asked. “Yeah, the door’s unlocked.” Bakura said just as the small pup finished his meal and yawned softly, curling up by Bakura’s side as Ryou came in.

Ryou saw the small wolf pup and looked to Bakura as he walked over to the bed. “Bakura, where did the wolf pup come from?” Ryou asked curiously. Bakura smiled softly and patted the spot beside him and Ryou sat down. “Well, as humans, demons can bear a child, dragonling or pup, maybe even a dragonpup depending on what type of demon they are, for their mate but there’s a slight twist to it. Ryou looked to him, curiosity showing in his eyes. “What’s that?” Ryou asked again.

“Normally demons would have a nightly intercourse so the female will bear a child in only 9 weeks instead of 9 months but for male demons, they could bear a child without intercourse or the female bearing the child. For us male demons, some have a limited time to do so, some like me, Crimson, Seto, Aqua, Ruby and Yami have as much time to do so and some might not be able to do it at all.” Ryou nodded, petting the small wolf pup’s back.

“Also, male demons have the choice to do it or not since the system inside of the male that let’s us bear a child works depending if the male wants to bear a dragonling or pup for their mate.” Ryou nodded again. “Ok, how does all of this work Bakura?” Ryou asked, still petting the small pup’s back softly, hearing him min hin his sleep. “Well, you could say the male almost have a same system like a female except the male doesn’t need the seed of a female to bear the child.” Ryou nodded again, surprised at what he was learning about the demons from Bakura.

“Most dragonlings, dragonpups or pups might start out as a large egg first so they are able to grow and develop better while others have the child without the egg like our small pup but that could leave him vulnerable to anyone that would try to steal the small demon while its defenseless so most male demons stay with the child until the child is better defended which doesn’t take long since baby demons don’t take long to grow up, mostly a few weeks, three months at the most, while the female hunts for food. The last thing is if the male does bear the child, it wouldn’t cause them as much pain as the female when she bears a child so their mate wouldn’t worry.” Bakura finished.

“Thanks for telling me this Bakura, there’s so much I don’t know about demons and since you’re one, you help a lot and even more,” He looked down to the sleeping pup then back to Bakura. “By letting me have a child to take care of. I always thought I would never be loved in any way except for my father but that only and father/son love but with you, it more than I could ever think of. Thank you so much Bakura.” Ryou said as he turned to hug him around his neck.

Bakura smiled and wrapped his arms around him, placing his head upon his shoulder. “You’re welcome koi, you have done a lot for me as well by being with me as my mate, when I first saw you, I couldn’t deny the love I felt for you and it grows the more I see you but what scared me is if you would have ran away once you learned of my demon form but you didn’t and thate mee me happy and I knew I have to return the favor so I bore a child for us to take care of and cherish.” Ryou just hugged Bakura closer to him, closing his eyes as he snuggled up to Bakura more. Ryou opened his eyes again and looked to him. “Bakura, what are we going to name him?” Ryou asked. “How about you choose a name for him Ryou.” Bakura said.

Ryou thought about what he could name their wolf pup. “Oh, how about Banthrex, that sounds like a good name and it looks like he will grow into a strong demon just like his father.” Ryou said and Bakura nodded. “Ok, Banthrex is a good name Ryou.” Bakura said and he smiled. “Thanks Bakura.” Ryou said as he started falling asleep quietly. Bakura wrapped a wing around him, smiling softly. “You’re welcome Ryou, my lovely mate.” He said quietly as he too fell asleep beside his mate and newborn pup.

Keith sat in a dimly lit room, three figure sitting at the table. “So what are we going to do boss.” One figure, shorter than the others asked. “Well Bonz, since Pegasus is dead, we have to do what he wanted which is to capture all demons and bring them to his will but since they’re too strong we have to think of a different way.” Keith said.

“And what would that be?” A blue haired man named Zygor asked. “Well, from what I got, the demons that we’re targeting are going to have children in a few weeks, maybe less than that. So what we are going to do is sneak off with the children and train them ourselves to go against thearenarents but we can’t let the demons know or else were dead.”

“But aren’t they going to kill us once they find out.” A red haired man named Sid said. “Sid’s right, what are we suppose to do once they find out we have their children?” Zygor said. “Don’t worry, I hired some more people to help us.” Keith said as the door opened and three more figures came in.

“Who are they?” Bonz asked. “They’re Varon, Raphael and Amelda. They’re going to help us since they’re demons themselves.” Keith said. “So, what do we need to do Keith?” Varon said as he sat down in a spare chair, Amelda and Raphael doing the same. Keith started telling them the plan and they listened to the plan attentively.

Yugi woke up again later on in the day and smiled softly at the peaceful expression Yami and Aqua are showing and got up quietly to not wake them and left the living room and went outside, sitting under a nearby tree, still holding the egg in his arms. “Soon, I’ll have a child of my own that I can take care of with Yami and Aqua.” He sighed happily as he lied back on the trunk of the tree.

Jou, Seto, Ruby and Kaiser walked up to the gate and saw Yugi there. “Hey Yugi.” Kaiser called out to him. Yugi opened his eyes and smiled when he saw his friends and got up. “Hi Jou, hi Kaiser. What bring you two, Seto and Ruby over?” They walked in and sat beside Yugi. “Well, we just came back from a walk through the park with Seto and Ruby and they surprise us by bearing a child. See,” Jou held out his coat, showing the small dragonling who looked up to Yugi with curious blue/red eyes.

“He’s cute, what did you name him Jou?” Yugi asked as he pet the dragonling’s head lightly. “Me and Seto named him Rothin.” Jou said as he let the small dragon out from his coat since the scales developed along the small demon so he wouldn’t be cold. “That’s a nice name, what about you Kaiser?” Yugi asked turning to Kaiser and Ruby. “Well, we haven’t thought of a name yet. Do you know of any good names Yugi?” Kaiser asked.

“Hmm, how about Corrin, that sounds like a good name.” Yugi said. Kaiser looked up to Ruby and he nodded. “Ok, thanks a bunch Yugi.” Kaiser said. “No problem Kaiser, I’m glad I can help.” Yugi said. they sat and talked for a while, Seto and Ruby watching them quietly before it started to get dark and Yugi invited them to stay over for the night, not noticing the ruby haired figure watching themm thm the roof.

Diamond and Crimson walked through the park quietly, Diamond holding a small wolf/sphinx pup in her arms. Crimson surprised her by bearing the child when they were walking outside and she didn’t mind it at all after Crimson gave her the same explanation that Bakura gave Ryou. Diamond smiled up to him and nuzzled him softly. “I’m so happy Crimson that you would do this for me.” Diamond said, sitting down on a nearby bench.

Crimson sat down beside her and nuzzled under her chin. “I wanted to do this for you, I thought I would never find love in no one since I was a demon, but you prove me wrong and you made me happy to be your mate.” Crimson said softly. Diamond nuzzled him back and they sat at the park quietly, never noting the older blonde figure watching them.

A fire dragon demon with red eyes watched Varon quietly, knowing who he was working for and what he was going to do and he was going to stop him the best he could, like Raxades and Kinoya, he couldn’t let Keith ruin anyone’s relationship but he won’t be able to do anything for now. The mysterious dragon walked across the roofs before he jumped down into a nearby alley, catching the attention of Varon who was in his demon fox form now.

Varon looked up when he heard something, his red-orange fur bristling as he looked back to where Yami, Aqua, Seto, Jou, Yugi, Kaiser, and Ruby were settled, talking with each other before he left, growling at whoever is messing with his mission. But when he stopped at the alley and saw exactly who it was, he couldn’t help but stare.

The dragon’s scales shined like dancing fire, even in the moonlight, his fire red wings looking transparent as the light hit them. He couldn’t kill the dragon, he didn’t even care about the mission anymore. All he wanted to do was meet the dragon that caught his attention. He tried walking up to the dragon quietly but the trash gathered in the alley made a shuffling noise and the dragon perked up at the sound before he started running off.

Varon’s eyes widened, his didn’t want to lose track of the dragon and started running after him, hoping he won’t lose the dragon so easily. He didn’t care about Keith’s plan anymore, all he wanted to do was meet this fiery dragon and maybe see if he could become a mate to this dragon since his interest to the dragon became more than that.

When he made it out of the alley, he saw the dragon was about to leave and he ran quickly up to him. “Wait, don’t go.” Varon said quietly, placing a hand on the dragon’s side. The dragon turned to Varon. “Why won’t you let me leave, I have things I need to take care of.” The dragon said. Varon looked up to him.

“I don’t want you to go, I think I might not see you ever again and I don’t want that,” Varon looked down. “I used to work with Keith but I don’t care anymore. When I saw you, I didn’t want to kill you. Instead I wanted to know more about you and see if you would become my mate.” Varon said quietly.

The dragon looked up quietly before looking back to Varon, smiling softly. “Well, since you’re not working for Keith anymore, what could be the harm in it. I’m Maitrin.” The dragon now known as Maitrin said. Varon smiled back, walking up to hug Maitrin around his neck. “It nice to meet you Maitrin, I’m Varon.” Varon said quietly, glad that he was able to meet with Maitrin before anything could happen.

“Well, I guess I better take you home with me Varon, you wouldn’t mind that, will you?” Maitrin asked. Varon shook his head. “No, I would be glad to come home with you Maitrin, you’re my mate and I’m planning to stay by your side when you need me.” Varon said. Maitrin nodded. “Ok.” Maitrin unfurled his wings and flew up into the air a bit before picking up Varon and flew back to his home, Keith or the others never knowing about what happened.

Kinoya cuddled up with Raxades at their home, smiling down at the small gold and emerald colored dragonling that was in her arms, sleeping quietly. She looked up to Raxades and nuzzled his neck. “I’m so happy this actually happened to me Raxades, I was able to bear a child. My family always thought I wouldn’t have the chance in my life to bear one until you came into my life that day.”

:Flashback:

Kinoya sat on one of the benches around the school, she was here as a new student but she was thinking about not coming in today since she was only here to watch over Yami, Yugi and Aqua and make sure Anzu wasn’t there to ruin their relationship together. She got up from the bench and was about to walk out the schoolyard until her shoulder was grabbed by a large hand, belonging only to Ushio, the school bully. “Hey, where someone good looking as you going?” Ushio asked. “I’m going home if you don’t mind.” She moved his hand off her shoulder and started to walk away again until her grabbed her shoulder and pulled her to him.

“Why don’t you just stay a little while longer.” Ushio said, keeping his arm around her and started to pull her away and since she didn’t want no one to know of her dragon form or the powers she had, she was helpless the this large bully as he dragged her to a secluded part of the school. “Let go of me, I want to get home.” Kinoya said harshly, struggling more but it was still useless since he had a good grip around her.

Ushio stopped once he got to the secluded area and turned Kinoya around. “Now, how about we stay here and you become my girlfriend.” Ushio said as a statement, not a question as he kept a strong grip on Kinoya’s arms so she couldn’t get away. “No, I rather be with someone who wouldn’t try to take me as their own.” She said and that made Ushio mad and he was about to slap her until he was kicked into the side and fell onto the ground hard.

Kinoya looked up when she felt Ushio’s grip loosen and saw a green haired boy there, his eyes glowing on their own since the secluded area was shadowed a bit. “When she says for you to let her go then you let here go.” The boy said. Ushio got up and glared at the boy. “Oh, and what are you going to do about, she’s going to be my girlfriend whether she says yes or no.” Ushio said menacingly. The boy growled and kicked Ushio in the stomach, making him bend over then he kneed him in his face, knocking him back and unconscious.

Kinoya watched the whole thing and got up once the boy knocked Ushio unconscious. “Thanks for helping me back there, I thought he would never let me go.” She said quietly. He nodded. “It was nothing, I saw you being taken by Ushio and I know how he is since he works with Anzu to hurt Yugi but lucky enough he is with Yami and Aqua now.” The boy said.

“So you know about their relationship too?” she asked as she followed him from the secluded area. “Yeah, I came here to make sure Anzu doesn’t try anything.” He said. “Well, you are like me. I came here for the same reason and was about to leave when Ushio caught me.” Kinoya said. He nodded once more. “Well, I better get going before the teachers start coming out and drag students to class.” He was about to jump for the top of the wall when Kinoya grasped his shoulder and he looked back to her. “Will I ever see you again?” she asked quietly.

He smiled and nodded. “I have a feeling we will be seeing each other more.” She smiled back to him and let go of his shoulder and he jumped on top of the wall surrounding the school and emerald green wings came from his back and he jumped for the air, flying back to wherever he came from. She watched him, amazed at seeing his wings before she did the same, waiting for the day when she will see him again.

A week later, Kinoya hadn’t seen nor heard of the boy that helped her from Ushio and she felt sad because she really wanted to meet him again. She went to the park later on that day and was surprise to see the boy there this time his wings and tail showing since there wasn’t many people at the park today and knew he must be a dragon like her from the day she saw his wings before he left.

She walked over to him quietly and sat down beside him one the bench and tapped his shoulder softly. “Hey.” She said and he opened his eyes, looking to her and smiled. “Hi.” She kept her hand on his shoulder. “I never did get you name before you left, I’m Kinoya Fadedishu.” Kinoya said. he smiled softly as he placed his own hand over hers. “I’m Raxades Fedoren.” He said.

She blushed softly when his hand was placed over her and looked to him. “Well, I have a feeling you don’t have much to do so do you want to do something with me Raxades?” she asked quietly. He laughed softly when she saw her blush and nodded. “Sure, what do you have in mind?” he asked as he got up from the bench, still holding her hand. “Well, I heard there was a fair opening up, maybe we can go there.” Kinoya said as she got up with him.

“Ok, let’s get going then.” He kept a hold of her hand as they walked over to the fair. They spent a great time there an once it was getting well into the night they left from the fair, Kinoya holding a stuffed toy that Raxades won for her. “I had a great time Raxades, thanks for coming with me.” Kinoya said as she walked with Raxades over to her house. “It was nothing, I was glad that I was able to spend the day with you.” Raxades said as they reached Kinoya’s house and stopped.

“Well, I better get going Kinoya, hopefully I’ll be able to see you tomorrow.” He was about to leave when Kinoya gently grabbed his hand and he looked back to her. “Raxades, do you mind if you can stay with me for tonight, my parents are not home and I don’t want to be alone.” She said quietly and he smiled, nodding. “Ok, as long as your alright with it. “ Raxades said and she nodded. “Of course Raxades.” She unlocked her door and went inside, Raxades following behind her.

“Well, since we don’t have any spare rooms, I hope you don’t mind sleeping down here.” Kinoya said. “I don’t mind at all Kinoya, I just want one thing.” Raxades said as he walked closer to her. “What’s that?” she asked as she looked to him. Raxades wrapped his arms around her. “This.” He kissed her softly on her lips and pulled back. “Goodnight Kin” He” He walked to the living room and lied down on the couch.

Kinoya blushed as she walked upstairs to her room, placing the stuffed toy on her bed as she changed into her nightclothes and got into bed, smiling softly. ‘Maybe he has feelings for me like I do.’ She fell asleep after that thought.

After that day, Kinoya and Raxades spent more time together and soon confessed their love for each other and she will always remember that day.

“I love you so much Raxades.” Kinoya said quietly as she nuzzled Raxades neck softly. He smiled and nuzzled her back. “I love you too Kinoya.” Raxades said. Kinoya looked out the window and saw it wasn’t near dark yet and looked back up to him. “Raxades, how about we go and take a walk?” Kinoya asked and he nodded.

“Ok, that sounds good.” Raxades said and they both got up from the seat and left to go for a walk with their new child unknown to botht mat maniacal, angry red eyes were watching them. ‘I will have you Kinoya even if it means killing Raxades.’ The figure thought before leaving and into the night, waiting for the perfect time to make his appearance.

Amelda as his demon panther form walked through the city, looking for any signs of his comrades or the demons Keith told them to look for. ‘Hopefully Keith would give us something good out of this or I’ll…’ he stopped in mid thought when he saw a 15-year old looking, black haired boy run past him without even acknowledging him and into the alley and that risen his curiosity and he followed the black haired boy silently.

The boy continued to run through the alley, holding a jewel to his chest as he ran and when he thought no one was following him, he slowed down once he left out the alley, not noticing Amelda watching him from the shadows of the alley. “Oh, I hope no one was following me, I don’t have a place to hide now if they were those hunters that were looking for me.” The boy said to himself before walking away from the alley unknown that Amelda heard what he said.

‘So, the boy doesn’t have a place to hide, maybe he knows something that I should know now.’ Amelda thought quietly before following the boy silently. When the boy stopped by another alley, he came p behind him and gasped his shoulder, making the boy jump and turn around, fear in his blue eyes. “W-w-what do you w-want?” the boy asked, trying to be brave but inside, he was terrified.

Amelda chuckled. “I just want to know why a boy your size is doing out so late at night?” Amelda said and the boy looked down. “Well, um, I don’t have nowhere to go, my only home, an abandoned hotel was destroyed and I have been running for a few hours, trying to look for another place to live.” Amelda felt sorry for the boy and kneeled down to his height, placing a hand-like paw on his shoulder.

“Maybe I can help you find a new place to live but first you have to tell me your name.” Amelda said and the boy looked down. “You’re not going to hurt me, are you?” the boy asked as he looked back up to him. “Of course not, if I wanted to hurt you then I would have done something when I first noticed you, now tell me, what is your name?”

the boy sighed softly. “My name is Gale, what’s yours?” the boy known as Gale asked. “I’m Amelda.” The boy nodded. “So where am I to live Amelda?” Gale asked and Amelda smiled softly down to him. “Well, I haven’t got a place yet but we can find one together, come on.” Amelda said and he nodded and followed Amelda to his new home.

Raxades and Kinoya walked through the park silently, Kinoya carrying their child as she slept. ‘Miyu looks so peaceful, I can just see that she will have a perfect life.’ Kinoya thought as she looked down to her child, smiling softly. Raxades looked to here and smiled softly to her before he looked up, hearing someone nearby.

He stopped and so did Kinoya. “What’s wrong Raxades?” Kinoya asked. “Someone is here, just stay quiet for me.” Raxades said and she nodded, staying close to him. “Come on out, whoever you are.” Raxades yelled and the person came out, glaring at him. “Who are you?” Raxades asked, a hint of a in in his voice.

The grey haired teen continued to glare at him. “I’m Vance Straski and I’m here to get my mate.” The teen now known as Vance said, looking to Kinoya with his maniacal red eyes. Kinoya back away and Raxades stepped in front of her. “If you trying to say you want Kinoya, then you’re dead wrong, you are not getting to her unless you can get past me.” Raxades growled and Vance gave a deadly smile.

“I’ll be glad to.” He then shifted into half of his demon form, a dragon/human with ghostly blue scales and sharp spikes near the end of his tail and his wings a glowing green, the edges looking ripped and tattered but he could still fly. His claws gleamed in the little sunlight left out and his smiled once more, showing a snout filled with needle sharp fangs, his eyeteeth pointed like a vampire’s and his eyes were more darker like blood.

Raxades growled and did the same and Kinoya backed away from him to see what would happen between them. Raxades made the first attack and lunged for Vance but he moved quickly but to Raxades, it looked like he disappeared right in front of him and his claws only hit the ground. Vance came right behind him and elbowed him right in the spot between his wings and he gasped as he fell to the ground.

“There’s no way you can beat me Raxades, I‘m just too good and once I beat you, your girlfriend and her child will be mine.” Vance said and laughed darkly. Raxades struggled to get up since the blow between his wings really got to him and made him feel a bit weak but after what Vance said, he wasn’t going to give up and growled as he made a lunge for Vance again but he moved out the way again and he was hit down to the ground by his tail, a few red welts where the spikes hit his side.

Vance brushed a lock of his long, grey hair behind his ear and looked down to him. “Give up, you’re no good, Kinoya deserves a strong dragon to be her mate, you are nothing but a weakling.” Vance said and Raxades closed his eyes, doing his best to not listen to Vance’s taunts. “No, I am not a weakling, I helped her when she needed it and I am strong enough to beat you.” Raxades said quietly and then roared as he jumped up, swinging his tail against Vance’s side and grinned when he hit him but Vance flipped and landed on all fours.

“Lucky shot.” Vance said and glared at him before his eyes started to glow but they weren’t directed at Raxades. “What are you trying to do?” Raxades growled and then noticed to wasn’t looked at him, but at Kinoya and gasped, looking to her and saw she was in a daze and ran over to her. “Kinoya, wake up.” Raxades pleaded but she didn’t hear him.

“Please Kinoya, break out of his spell.” But she still didn’t hear him as she walked past him and over to Vance. “Vance, my love, I have missed you.” Kinoya said, deadpanned. He smiled and pulled her into his arms. “I’m glad Kinoya, I have missed you as well since it has been so long since we have seen each other.” Vance said, caressing her cheek with one claw and glanced over to Raxades who hasn’t moved from his spot.

‘I can’t lose her, not Kinoya. Not Kinoya.’ He thought to himself. “Aww, is the poor boy sad, oh well, you said if I can get past you, I can get her and you lost. You’re nothing but a weakling and besides, it was your fault I lost her in the first place.” Vance said angrily. Raxades turned to him. “What do you mean Vance?” Raxades asked.

“Well, I shouldn’t be telling you this but who cares. That day at school when you beat up Ushio, he wasn’t working for Anzu, he was working for me. I gave him his first job when I saw Kinoya walk into the schoolyard but the lousy idiot messed it up and tried to make her his own but thanks to that, you beat the crap out of him and gotten to Kinoya before I did.” Vance said.

“So, what the problem with that?” Raxades said. “Before you even met her, I was in love with her and thanks to that blockhead Ushio, he ruined my chance to be with her but he didn’t go through that act unpunished.” A bag formed in his claw and he threw it to Raxades and he caught it but smelled the stench of dead organs and didn’t want to look inside the bag but did anyway and threw bag away from him quickly. Th bag hit the ground and Ushio’s severed head rolled out of the bag, claws marks over his face, one eye missing and some of his intestines slid out the bag slowly.

“As you can see, whoever tries to get in my way of getting what I want will suffer just like him, right now I can picture you in his place and I bet your blood will be just as exquisite as his but since I got Kinoya, there’s no need to do anything to you.” Vance said and looked up before looking back to him.

“Well, it is getting late and I need to be looking for a meal soon but don’t worry, I’ll take care of Kinoya for you, if you want you can try your hardest to get her back from me but consider this a warning, if you do get her back, don’t think I won’t come back for her, she is mine and only mine and there will no way you can stop me from doing so.” He turned his head away from Raxades and looked to her.

“Come on mate, let’s get going, I need to go get something to eat before we can have some fun, one child just won’t do for us you know.” Kinoya only nodded and Vance wrapped an arm around her. Raxades eyes widened at that and ran for them but they faded away just before he could reach them.

He fell to his knees and looked down to the ground. ‘This can’t be happening, I can’t lose her to some dragon that had her eye on her first. I’m not going to lose her so easily.’ Raxades thought and got up again and was about to walk out of the park but saw a slip of paper on the ground and picked it up.

‘If you’re so desperate to get her back, you have only til midnight to get to Domino City dock and find the black warehouse with my insignia on it. If you don’t make, then consider your mate my new barer. Vance’ it read. He growled. ‘He’s toying with me. I’m not going to let him get away with this.’ Raxades thought once more and then unfurled his wings and flew off, knowing he might need some help with this.

Seto, Kaiser and Ruby lied down in the living room, asleep as Yugi and Jou played with Corrin and Rothin, Yami laying down beside Yugi, their egg in his arms and Aqua laying by the couch, also asleep. The was a knock at the door and Yugi looked up. “I wonder who could be here at this time of night?” Yugi said and got up from the floor and walked over to the door and opened it, seeing Raxades there but there was no Kinoya.

“What happened Raxades? Where’s Kinoya?” Yugi asked. “I need one of your demons’ help, she was kidnapped by some demon dragon named Vance and if I don’t get to the docks by midnight, she going to be nothing but a whore to him.” Raxades said. “This is bad, just stay here for a sec, I’ll go and wake up Aqua, he can help since I would need Yami here.” Raxades nodded and Yugi ran back into the living room.

Jou looked up when Yugi came back into the room. “Who was it at the door Yugi?” Jou asked. “It was Raxades, he needs help to get Kinoya back from a demon dragon named Vance.” Yugi said and walked over to Aqua, shaking his shoulder. “Aqua, wake up, Raxades needs some help from you.” Yugi whispered and Aqua woke up. “What the matter Yugi?” Aqua asked, still a bit tired. “Raxades needs your help, a demon dragon named Vance took Kinoya and if he doesn’t get to the docks by midnight, something horrible will happen to her.” Yugi said and Aqua nodded, getting up.

“Ok, I’ll be back soon Yugi.” Aqua kissed him softly and left the room, meeting up with Raxades at the door and they both left to go to the docks, only having six hours to make it there before midnight.

At the docks, Vance brought Kinoya into his room while he put Miyu into another room so she would be in the way, went back into the room and was now sitting on the bed with Kinoya, caressing her. “Oh Kinoya, I’m so glad you’re mine now. You deserve someone better than that lousy Raxades.” Vance said softly and Kinoya nodded. “I’m glad too Vance, I don’t know what cause me to be with him in the first place.” Kinoya said, her voice still deadpanned.

He grinned and got up, going to a nearby table and took a bottle and poured the thick, red liquid into two glasses and then took a small bag and poured some of the silver dust into one of the glasses. ‘Once it hits midnight, I will give her this blood of my demon form and then, she will be mine forever.’ Vance thought and grinned darkly to himself, thinking about what he can do with her once he gets her under his control forever.

Later on, Aqua and Raxades made it to the docks and the only had an hour to find the black warehouse where Vance held Kinoya. “Do you see it Aqua?” Raxades asked and Aqua looked around once more before spotting a black warehouse with a large insignia on the door shaped like a drop of blood. “Found it.” Aqua said and flew in that direction. Raxades following behind him.

“How much time do we have left?” Raxades asked and Aqua looked up. “We only have 40 mins to get in there, find Miyu and Kinoya and get out of there before we encounter Vance, I know him a while back and he’s very possessive of his whores as some demons would say when he gets his targeted mates.” Aqua said and Raxades looked to him.

“What do you mean?” Raxades asked as they landed in front of the warehouse. “Well, a few centuries ago, me and Yami used to know a female wolf demon named Sira Jade. She was very nice and always stayed around us since we were very good friend with her when we first met her. Then, that night came. Vance as his ghost dragon demon form came out of nowhere and demand that he had saw her first and would do anything to get her out of our protection. She knew that he was bad news and stayed behind us as we fought him but he was too strong because he was actually half ghost which made it more hard for us to hit him.” Aqua started.

“Then what happened?” Raxades asked, really curious about Yami and Aqua’s first encounter with Vance. “Well, he was able to beat us with two well aimed fireballs and while we were down, he called us pathetic and worthless and we started to believe him since his voice was starting to hypnotize us and then he used his Blood Gaze on Sira and cause her to think that Vance was her mate and then he took her, right there in front of us and we were powerless to stop him from mating with her. Soon after that, he took her away and we heard rumors from other demons that Sira and some of the other females that Vance took as his own are still in this warehouse.” Aqua finished.

Raxades nodded and glared at the warehouse. “Come on then, I have a plan, if those rumors are true then we are going to save those other females from Vance. You go and look for them and I’ll go and get Kinoya and Miyu myself.” Raxades said and Aqua nodded. “Let’s get moving then, you have more things to worry about, I can tell just from Vance’s scent that he is more interested in Kinoya than any of there other females and also it smells like he is very aroused so we need to hurry up and get to him before he gives her that drink.” Aqua said and opened the doors and went inside, Raxades following behind him.

“What drink are you taking about?” Raxades asked. Aqua looked around, sniffing the air to see where Vance’s aroused scent was coming from. “There’s a drink that he makes with his own demon blood and if he gives it to Kinoya in her state with the moonlight dust at midnight then she will be lost forever.” Aqua said and caught onto his aroused scent.

“Ok, we have to make this work, we only have 30 mins left. Vance is upstairs on the second floor, last door on your right, Miyu is three doors away from him to your left. Kinoya should be in there with him. In another 5 mins, he should go outside and watch the full moon, waiting for the right time to give her the drink, you go in there and get Kinoya out but make sure she’s quiet or she will alert Vance. After you get her then bolt out of there and stop at the room Miyu is in and get her. Meet me back here and we should be out of here by midnight and before Vance finds out we’re here.”

Raxades nodded and started running up to Vance’s room, stopping at Miyu’s door and placed a scratch there so he remembers what room she’s in and then quietly walked to the last door and waited by it, listening quietly. Vance looked outside and then back to Kinoya. “Now be a good girl Kinoya and stay here, I’m going to go outside for a bit and watch the moon, waiting for midnight. Only 15 mins to go. Yell if someone is trying to take you.” Vance said and kissed her on the cheek softly before unfurling his wings and flew up, fading through the roof of the warehouse.

Kinoya nodded and lied back on the bed, waiting for midnight. Raxades listened some more to make sure Vance wasn’t in the room and then opened the door silently and walked over to the large bed and looked to the clock. ‘Only 10 mins left, got to hurry.’ Raxades thought and quietly picked up Kinoya, placing a claw over her mouth so she wouldn’t alert Vance and then left out the room, closing the door with his tail and then went to get Miyu.

Down in the basement of the warehouse, Aqua was freeing the female demons that were trapped down there. After he freed the last one, he looked to them. “Ok, we need to be quiet so we can get out of here before midnight or Vance will get us. Come on.” The girls nodded and followed him out of the basement. “Hey, did any of you heard about a female wolf named Sira?” Aqua asked.

A neko demon named Sagwa nodded. “Yeah, I’ve heard of her.” Aqua looked to her as they continued to walk. “Do you know what happened to her?” he asked again. “Yeah, it was very tragic, really. You see, a few months ago when Vance brought me us for his daily session with me, he told me a secret and said that Sira broke out of his spell and rebelled against doing his wishes so….” Sagwa stopped there and Aqua paused for the other girls to stop and walked over to her, placing his claws on her shoulders.

“What happened to her?” Aqua asked, fear lacing his voice. She looked down. “He told me that he devoured her, didn’t leave nothing of her existence except for the skull of her head which he shrunk using some type of potion and is now using as a pendant, telling the rest of us is we didn’t obey him, he would do the same with us.” Sagwa said and Aqua looked down, tears gathering in his eyes.

“Ok, thank you for telling me.” Aqua said sadly and started leading the girls out, meeting up with Raxades on the way. Raxades saw the distant look in Aqua’s eyes. “What’s the matter Aqua?” Raxades asked as they left out the warehouse before it hit midnight. Aqua didn’t say anything. Sagwa felt bad and put a paw on his shoulder. “I told him about what happened to Sira.” Sagwa said. “You mean, Yami and Aqua’s friend?”

She nodded. “I guess. I didn’t know that he was friends with her so I told him about what happened to her when she broke out of Vance’s spell.” Sagwa said and Raxades looked to her. “What happened?” Aqua chose this time to talk. “That bastard devoured her. he devoured her all because she didn’t do what he wanted. She’s dead and he’s using her skull as a pendant. That bastard! That damn bastard!!” Aqua yelled and Sagwa comforted him as he broke down in t.

“Is this true?” Raxades asked. She nodded. “I’m so sorry for telling him this. I didn’t know it would at hit him like this.” Sagwa said and Aqua placed a claw over her paw. “It’s ok, I’m fine now. Let’s get out of here before Vance finds out Kinoya missing.” Aqua said and got up off the ground. The others nodded and they started to run just as the last toil of midnight rang and Vance let out a piercing roar when he found out Kinoya and Miyu was gone.

“RAXADES!! DON’T THINK I DIDN’T KNOW YOU WAS HERE!! WHEN I GET MY CLAWS ON YOU, YOU’LL WISH YOU NEVER CROSSED A GHOST DRAGON DEMON!!!! YOU WILL DIE AND I WILL GET KINOYA AS MY MATE FOREVER!!!!” Vance yelled into the night and Raxades heard it and it sent a shiver up his spine.

*: An Orichalcos demon is a demon that is stronger than any other demon because of its muscle build and lack of emotions. Since Orichalcos is a strong spell against demons, they lose their sense of will when the spell is casted onto them. It is very rare for demons to break out of this spell and it takes a great deal of will to keep them from harming or devouring anything that moves since these type of demons have a high bloodlust level.

For Yami and Aqua, they weren’t completely entranced by the spell so that’s how they were able to break free when they heard Yugi’s pleas.
