Before Yami could stop him Bakura�s fist came in strong
contact with Joeys jaw, knocking him harshly to the ground.
�Bakura!� Yami yelledanciancing upon him to stop him from
beating Joey to death.
�Stay out of this Pharaoh!� He growled angrily trying to get
to the fallen Joey who was now scrambling to his feet
�Joey get out of here!� Yami screamed as he threw Bakura to
the ground to delay him
Regardless that Joey was out of sight Bakura still ran after
him before finally stopping to breath and shoot death glares at Yami.
��You bastard�� Bakura said breathlessly �Do you have any
idea what he did to Ryou!� Bakura screamed
�Yes I do and that�s why I stopped you! You�re the one who
told me unless Joey confronted Ryou he would never be the same�I was taking
your advice for Ra�s sake.� Yami said
�I will not let him get away with this!� Bakura said angrily
�It�s not up tu Bau Bakura, its up to Ryou.� Yami said
�Ryou is not the type to give someone what they rightfully
deserves! He will forgive Joey without a second thought!� Bakura screamed
�Stop screaming and think about what Ryou wants for a
moment.� Yami said, �He doesn�t want Joey dead or hurt�he wants to put all this
behind him, he wants to move on with his life.� Yami paused �If you kJoeyJoey
what would that accomplish? Ryou would blame himself for his death for all
eternity before he accepts that it was right.� Yami said
�And if had happened to your Hikari? What then? What would
you do?!� Bakura said
Yami closed his eyes �I honestly don�t know Bakura because I
was lucky enough to not be put in the position that you are in now.� Yami
looked straight into Bakura�s eyes �I understand that you are merely trying to
protect Ryou just as I would to protect Yugi but Joey is not going to hurt him
now or ever again Bakura.� Yami stated
�You expect me to believe that? How heartless do you have to
be to do that to someone? Someone you love crucially, you have no idea how much
Ryou truly cared for Joey�and then his whole world crashed down because of that
bastard!� Bakura said emotionally
�I know Bakura but please you need to think about Ryou.�
Yami said
�Who the hell do you think I�m doing this for? Myself? No,
I�m doing this for Ryou so he never has to worry about someone hurting him ever
again! I will never allow someone that hurt him like that to live!� Bakura
shouted
�That�s not what Ryou wants! He wants to move on! Listen to
me!� Yami said angrily
Bakura was a bit taken back by Yami�s sudden anger. �Your
heart is in the right place but your mind is not Bakura, think about how this
will effect Ryou.� Yami said harshly
��It would probably crush him.� Bakura stated softly
�Exactly Bakura�you see now why you cant do this?� Yami
asked
�Well what am I supposed to do sit here and twiddle my
thumbs?� Bakura asked contemptuously.
�You are supposed to let Ryou handle this.� Yami said
�Leave him a wit with that cruel bastard?!� Bakura erupted
�HE wont be alone for one you can be inside his ring and
Seto will be near�those two are indivisible now.� Yami said
�How long ago did this happen Yami?� Bakura suddenly asked
�Days�weeks maybe.� Yami looked at the hurprespression on
Bakura�s face
�He never told me�I had to scare the hell out of him to make
him tell me finally.� Bakura looked to his feet �Does he really hate me that
much?� Bakura asked to particularly no one.
�He doesn�t hate you Bakura he couldn�t, he is just not used
to you being so straightforward with him�strictly speaking no one is really.
You rarely show him that you care and frankly is frightens him slightly.� Yami
said
�Yami?� Bakura said looking into his eyes �May I ask a
favor?� Bakura said
�I suppose.� Yami said
�If I see Joey I will not be able to stop myself from�will
you make sure I get home and stay there for Ryou�s own safety?� Bakura managed
to say although embarrassed that he had to ask for the Pharaoh�s help.
�Of course.� Yami said
The two began to walk towardura�ura�s and Ryou�s home. Yami sighed
as he helped the enraged spirit calm down and think of what�s best for his
Hikari, Yami felt as helping Bakura and Ryou as a way of helping his own, and
if ever he needed a shoulder to lean on they would help him.

Ryou sat upon his bed merely thinking, he hated Bakura�s
mood swings and he knew Joey was in danger and there was little if not nothing
he could do about it. So Ryou waited for he could do nothing else. Seto sat
down next to him brining him into a gentle embrace kissing his forehead lightly.
�
Don�t worry so much Ryou� Seto said smoothly �Yami was on
his way over to Joeys before Bakura even knew about all this�I�m sure he
stopped Bakura before he could do any permanent damage to Joey.� He said
lifting Ryou�s chin

Seto rose an eyebrow �Where are you going?� He asked
�Out, I have to be alone for a little while�clear my
thoughts.� Ryou said as he leant over and gave Seto a feather light kiss.
�But, Ryou its late�and� Seto stopped when Ryou placed his
fingers on his lips
�I�ll be all right Seto�please�besides if I get in real
trouble I can call Bakura.� Ryou said trying to reassure Seto
�Ryou�you know how much I care for you right?� Seto said
Ryou tilted his head slightly �Yes.� He answered simply
�I only want to protect you, and be with you Ryou. I don�t
want you to think Bakura is the only one who can be there for you is all.� Seto
said hanging his head
�I know you will always be there for me too Seto, I�ve
always know that�that�s why I love you, I depend on you more than any other in
this world. Don�t be jealous or envious of what me and Bakura share because I
guarantee that you and I share something far more special.� Ryou smiled and
left the room

Ryou walked quickly from the mansion toward the nearby park
not even noticing Joey in thr dir distance who saw him. Joey bit his lower lip
and thought about going straight to Bakura and let him rip him apart, but
instead he followed slowly and far behind Ryou. Ryou had stopped near the lake
in the park while Joey concealed himself behind a tree and watched Ryou
intently. It was obvious that the youth was deeply involved in thought as he
hugged his legs resting his chin upon his knees as he watched the water ripple
slightly from the wind as he hugged his legs closer for warmth. Joey breathed
in the crisp air as he quietly walked toward Ryou placing his coat around
Ryou�s shoulders that jumped up at the contact but softened seeing whom it was.
�I thought I heard someone behind me.� Ryou said softly.

Cliffy! Yeah! I was wondering if I should write an Ancient
Egypt fic again since �The Pharaohs Gift� got erase tell me in a review!
Dose anyone know Ryou�s fathers name? If you do please tell
me if you don�t send me a suggestion thanx!
