I Hate Every Bone in Your Body, Except Mine

            Bakura followed Marik up the flight of stairs that lead to his and Malik’s untidy little
apartment. Marik unlocked the door and stepped aside, allowing Bakura in the door first.
“Gods Marik, this place fucking rots like a decaying corpse on a hot summer day.” The thief
grumbled as he walked in.
Marik shut the door behind him and laughed. “Only you would say that.”
Bakura lit up a cigarette to mask the odor of whatever was stinking the place up.
“There’s beer in the fridge if you want to get an early start. I’m going to change my clothes
before we head down.” Marik said as he tossed his leather jacket on the floor and went in to his
room, leaving the door open.
Bakura didn’t hesitate getting a beer, especially since it was free. He wasn’t surprised when he
saw all that Marik and Malik had in their refrigerator was 3 cases of beer and a pound of
raunchy, off-color hamburger. Bakura wasn’t even sure if it was hamburger or not.....it was green
and blue. The thief cringed as he closed the fridge door. He pulled a chair up to the counter and
waited while Marik changed his clothes.

Minutes later Marik walked out of his room wearing a pair of grey jeans with holes in the
knees, a black t-shirt with the sleeves torn off, and black riding boots. He was sporting all silver
jewelry instead of his usual gold. Bakura especially like the pentagram hanging from a silver
chain around the Egyptian’s neck.
“Ready to go drink some beers?” Marik asked as he picked his leather jacket up off the floor.
Bakura chugged down the rest of the beer he was holding and slammed the can down on the
counter, crushing it in the middle.
“You bet I am.” he grinned.
Marik led Bakura into the smoke filled bar below his apartment. There were groups of
leather clad men and women standing and sitting around. AC/DC’s “Night Prowler” played
loudly in the background.
“Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit to shoot some stick. I’ll go put our quarters under the rail if
you go get us both a beer.” Marik said as he handed Bakura some cash.
Bakura took the money and nodded. He went up the bartender, an over-weight, white bearded
man wearing a Harley Davidson t-shirt, and slapped his money down on the bar.
“Two Bud long necks.” He said as he took a seat.
The bartender laughed in Bakura’s face.
“You old enough?”
Bakura glared at the man. “You looking for trouble, old geezer?”
The bartender rolled his eyes. “I’ll need some ID, kid.”
Bakura reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet, showing the bartender his (fake)
ID. He’d made it himself. Fake ID’s were a specialty of his.
The bartender nodded his head. “You don’t look 27, but I’m not in the mood to fight tonight.”
Bakura closed his wallet and put it back in his pocket. The bartender set two beers in front of
him.
“Good, because I’m in no mood for concealing a dead body.” Bakura snarled as he snatched the
two beers and walked over by Marik.
“I’m up next.” Marik said to Bakura, watching the game of pool nearby.
Bakura handed Marik his beer and nodded his head.
“Good, I can’t wait to kick your ass all over the green.”
Marik chuckled as he opened his beer.
“Care to put a wager on that statement?”
Bakura shrugged his shoulders. “Sure, how does a dollar sound?”
“Sounds cheap. How about a dollar, a shot, and a crawl?” Marik grinned.
“What’s a crawl? ” Bakura asked as the music on the jukebox changed to “Mother” by Danzig.
“You’ll see.” Marik grinned.
Bakura lit up a cigarette and leaned back against the wall. The girlfriend of one of the guys
shooting pool walked up to Marik with a big smile on her face.
“Hey Ishtar, it’s been a while! Where the hell have you been hiding?” she asked.
Marik glanced at Bakura and winked at him before answering her.
“Hey doll, I’ve been around. How’s your arm?”
The girl chuckled and leaned against the wall next to him. “It’s better, I got the cast off last
week. That was some fight that night, eh?”
Marik nodded his head. “Yes, it was. Did Billy ever find his keys?”
Bakura was only half listening to Marik’s conversation with the girl. He was more interested in
watching the pool game in front of him. The two guys playing were quite good, neither was
missing many shots. Bakura drank his beer up and set the empty bottle in the window sill.
“Need a sud?” he asked Marik.
Marik turned to Bakura with a big grin.
“Of course” he said before tipping his bottle to his lips and emptying it.
“Damn Ishtar, you haven’t changed a bit! You’re still a fucking drunk bastard, aren’t ya?” The
girl laughed.
Bakura tossed his cigarette on the floor and stomped it out. He looked at Marik curiously. “So
are you going to introduce me to your friends, or do I have to beat it out of you?”
Marik chuckled and put his arm around the girl next to him. “This is Amy, She’s married to the
guy shooting right now. His name is Billy. The long haired hippie punk he’s shooting against is
Johnny. His girlfriend is the cute little blond up at the bar shaking dice for free drinks. Her name
is Carrie. The guys around her are Rooster, Mike, and Soupy.”
“Carrie....she thinks she’s tough.”Amy scoffed, glaring at the blond shaking dice.
Bakura nodded his head. “I see.”
            Bakura went back up to the bar and asked for two more beers. The bartender didn’t put
up a fuss this time and handed Bakura the two bottles of beer. Bakura was feeling a little out of
place, considering Marik seemed to know almost everybody. He walked back by Marik and
handed the Egyptian his second beer.
“HA! LOSER!” The man named John exclaimed as he sunk the 8-ball.
Marik grinned as he took Billy’s pool stick. “Looks like I’ll be needing this......loser.”
“You scurvy dog, Ishtar.” Billy chuckled as he leaned back against the wall next to his wife.
Marik looked up at Bakura as he inserted his quarters into the coin slots.
“Don’t worry, Bakura, this game will be fast.”
John laughed sarcastically as he lit up a cigarette.
“Yeah Bakura, I’ll have Ishtar’s ass beat in five shots!”
“In your dreams, Johnny-boy. Say we both put $5 on this game?”
“Sure” Johnny grinned. “I hope you don’t miss your money too much once I take it from ya.”
Marik racked the colored balls and stepped back. “We shall see.”
The girl named Carrie walked up to Johnny with four beers in her hands. She looked at Marik
surprised. “Holy shit, is that MARIK ISHTAR? Holy hell, dude! I haven’t seen you in here since
we threw Chuck through the bathroom window!”
“He was asking for it.” Marik chuckled as Johnny broke the balls, sinking a red solid in the side
pocket.
“Is little Yami here tonight?” Carrie asked Marik as she set two of the beers down in the window
sill.
Bakura decided to answer that question for Marik.
“Yami is home jerking off alone tonight.” he snickered.
Carrie looked at Bakura and laughed. “HA! I’m not surprised, he’s weird like that. By the way,
who the fuck are you?”
Bakura grinned wickedly. He loved answering this question! “I am a thief and a stealer of souls.”
he answered casually.
Carrie reached out to shake Bakura’s hand, laughing as she did. “Well pleased to meet you soul
stealer. I’m a bitch and a breaker of hearts. We should team up sometime.”
Johnny looked up from the shot his was about to take and groaned. “Jeez woman, settle your
drunk ass down.”
Carrie glared at her boyfriend and reached into her purse for a cigarette. “Fuck you, John. Don’t
piss me off anymore tonight, or I’ll have my new buddy Bakura steal your fucking soul!”
John rolled his eyes. “You already did that, bitch. Along with half my paycheck.”
Carrie glared back at him as she searched for her lighter. “Dickhead.......Shit. Anybody got a
light?”
Bakura handed her his.
She lit up her cigarette and handed him his lighter back. She walked passed Johnny as he was
about to make a shot and kicked him square in the ass, causing him to mis-cue.
“Asshole” she growled as he went back up to the bar.
Marik leaned over the pool table and aimed his stick at the cue ball, eye-balling up a clean shot
at a yellow striped ball.
“I see she hasn’t changed at all.” He said as he made his shot.
Johnny shook his head. “Nope, she’s still a stuck up little bitch. I’d dump her if she wasn’t so
good in bed.”
Marik chuckled as he made another shot, sinking a purple striped ball into the corner pocket.
A cool breeze from the door opening caught Marik’s attention before his next shot. He looked
over at the door and scowled. A motley group of in in their twenties walked in looking tough
as nails. There were at least 10 of them, plus a couple of their girlfriends.
“Shit, it looks like those assholes from Domino Falls are here.” Marik growled, his eye starting
to twitch.
The entire atmosphere of the bar changed instantly. Tension loomed everywhere. Every wary eye
was on the new group of patrons.
“Who are they?” Bakura asked, lighting up a cigarette.
Johnny crossed his arms and glared at the new group. “They’re dead meat.”
Marik finished making another shot and looked at Bakura seriously. “Don’t be surprised if
there’s a fight tonight. Those guys only come here to fuck with us. See the big guy with the jean
jacket on? His name is Todd, and he’s the worst of the bunch. He’ll cold-cock you upside the
head for no Ra-damn good reason. I’m not sure of the rest of their names, but I honestly couldn’t
care less.”
Bakura’s eyes lit up with excitement. He never minded a good fight! If there was going to be
trouble, but felt there needed to be some good fighting music on, so he walked over to the juke
box and stuffed a couple dollars in. Metallica’s version of the old Anti-Nowhere League song
“So What” was the first track he chose. If that song didn’t get people pumped up to fight, they
were hopeless. “Freebird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd was playing at the moment, practically putting
everyone to sleep, but that was all about to change. After looking through more of the songs
available, Bakura chose tracks by the bands Ministry (Jesus built my Hot Rod), Motlëy Cruë
(Red Hot), Slayer (Skeletons of Society), Carcass (Go to Hell), Megadeth (Tornado of Souls),
Pantera (Cowboys from Hell), and Overkill (Fuck You).
As Bakura finished entering the track numbers into the juke box, a guy with long blond hair and
creepy green eyes tapped him on the shoulder. It was the guy Marik had called Todd.
Bakura turned around quickly, clenching his fists. “What” he snapped sharply.
“Move your ass, your in my way.” Todd frowned.
Bakura shrugged his shoulders. “Make me” he growled back.
The guy glared at the hard-nosed thief. “You either move your ass, or I am going to have to
smash that pretty little face of your’s into a million pieces.”
Bakura stood up straight and prepared for action. The guy might have been bigger than him, but
Bakura wasn’t scared in the least.
“Bring it on, limp dick!” He hissed as he cracked his knuckles.
Todd didn’t waste his time. He grabbed Bakura by the front of his shirt and threw him hard back
against the juke box.
Bakura’s hair miraculously began to spike up, and his eyes glowed with anger.
“Do that again, punk! I fucking dare you!” The thief coaxed evilly.
Todd pulled back his fist and brought it forward, connecting with Bakura’s jaw.
Bakura didn’t even flinch. He kept a stone cold look on his face as he growled under his breath.
“I hope you had your mother pack your lunch, ‘cos you’re going DOWN!”
Bakura lunged forward and tackled the larger man to the ground. Fists and blood started flying
as the two scrapped it out on the floor.
“Freebird” ended and “Jesus Built my Hot Rod” began to play. The energy that came from the
music seemed to be driving Bakura’s fury. His fists were flying as fast as the beat of the song.
Carrie was standing nearby and caught sight of the fight.
“Holy shit! FIGHT!” she yelled as she grabbed Todd’s girlfriend and jacked her in the face.
Marik threw down his pool stick. “Shit, I knew this would happen.” He said warily as he
watched Bakura and Todd go at it.
“Carrie! You dumb cunt! What the fuck is wrong with that girl!” Johnny exclaimed as he
dropped his pool stick and ran up to the bar to break Carrie and Todd’s girlfriend up. Before he
could get to them though, a guy from Domino Falls sucker punched him in the face. Johnny went
down with a resounding thud on the tiled floor. Marik grabbed the guy that knocked Johnny
down and threw him into the wall.
“It’s time to teach you punks from the Falls a fucking lesson!” The Egyptian growled evilly as he
held the guy against the wall in a choke hold.
Within minutes the entire bar had erupted into a full-blown bar brawl. It was the gang from
Domino against the rogues from nearby Domino Falls. The bartender quickly phoned
the police to break up the bloody scrap.
Todd’s endurance surprised Bakura a little, but the thief knew he could take this asshole out.
There wasn’t a doubt in his mind he could, and playing dirty was definitely an option. Bakura
managed to pull out his pocket knife and stab straight into Todd’s arm, dragging the razor sharp
blade through the warm flesh.
“You cut mou bou bastard!” Todd growled, trying to yank the blade from his arm. He ignored
the pain and kneed Bakura right in the nuts.
The thief’s eyes began to water and he fell forward holding his crotch.
“Fu-cker” he winced as Todd got up and pulled the knife out of his arm. Bakura suddenly felt
the coldness of his own knife against his throat.
“Haha, you ready to meet your maker, Domino scum?” Todd chuckled, his blood running down
his arm and slid down the blade, dripping red fluid into a puddle below Bakura’s face on the
floor.
Just as the sharp blade began to dig into Bakura throat, the was a loud cracking noise and the
knife dropped to the floor. Todd fell limp on top of Bakura completely unconscious.
Bakura looked up and saw Marik holding what was left of a bar stool, grinning evilly.
“You’re lucky I find you very sexy, Bakura.” Marik winked as he turned and wacked some guy
in the head with the leg of the chair.
Bakura got up holding his crotch. Yes, his poor little buddies were still hurting very badly.
Marik dropped the chair leg and grabbed Bakura’s arm. He started yanking him toward the door.
“The cops will be here soon, let’s go back up to my place.”
Bakura hesitated and looked back at the jukebox. “But.........my songs aren’t done playing!”
Marik rolled his eyes. “I know you have the cd’s, so hurry the fuck up! LET’S GO!”
Bakura picked his knife up off the floor and licked the blood off the blade as he hurried out of
the bar with Marik. The Egyptian unlocked the door and pulled Bakura inside the apartmment.
The reflection of red and blue lights spilled in through the partially opened ratty old puke-green
curtains.
“Phew! Right in the knick of time! Damn Bakura, I can’t believe you started shit with that guy!
How many beers have you had?”
Bakura shrugged his shoulders as he crouched down on the floor, leaning back against the wall.
He was still hurting from the hard kick to his groin.
“Fuck.....I don’t know, and I don’t care! My balls feel like they’re going to explode. Next time I
see that guy I’m going to gut him alive!” Bakura winced.
Marik took off his jacket and sat on the floor next to Bakura. “Do you need to lay down?”
The thief nodded his head. “I think so, I feel like throwing up.”
“Here, I’ll help you to my bed.” Marik offered his arm to Bakura and helped him up.
“Um.....thanks for knocking that chump out.” Bakura said quietly as the Egyptian led him into
the bedroom.
Marik chuckled as they sat on the bed. “I couldn’t let him slice up that delectable neck of yours,
now could I?”
Bakura took off his leather jacket and laid it on the bed next to him. He laid back slowly and
groaned. “I don’t think I’ve ever felt this much pain before, fuck.”
Marik cocked his head. “Maybe you should take off your jeans, they’re probably not helping the
situation.”
Bakura closed his eyes. “I don’t think I can.....hurts...”
Marik scooted closer to the pain stricken thief and smiled. “I’ll do it for you than. Just relax.”
Bakura nodded his head slightly.
Marik grinned as he reached down and undid the snap of Bakura’s black jeans. He slowly and
carefully pulled the zipper down, licking his lips as he gazed down at Bakura’s manhood.
“Not wearing any underwear I see.”
Bakura let out an annoyed groan.
Marik traced his finger lightly over Bakura’s shaft, taking his time and making sure he didn’t
hurt the distressed yami.
Bakura whimpered softly as Marik touched him. “Ishtar, don’t touch that.”
Marik chuckled as he pulled his hand away. “Here, lift your hips up.”
Bakura lifted his hips and Marik slid Bakura’s jeans down to the middle of Bakura’s thighs,
exposing the true extent of the damage.
“Wow, Kura.....you’re very...eh......bruised. I’d offer you some ice, but that might hurt more.”
Bakura ran his fingers through his hair and moaned. “Oh, fuck me.....I feel like I’m dying again.”
Marik shook his head and laughed as he pulled Bakura’s jeans down to his ankles.
“I think I know a way to ease your pain.”
Bakura opened his eyes and looked at Marik curiously.
“Do tell”
Marik leaned over and took the head of Bakura’s shaft into his mouth, sucking gently.
“Hey, not that!” Bakura gasp, trying to wiggle away
Marik put his hand on Bakura’s chest and pushed him back onto the bed.
“Just relax, I promise this will help.”
Marik carefully licked at the soft flesh, spiraling his tongue around Bakura’s length.
Bakura’s body buckled as Marik’s tongue swept across the sensitive bruised area.
“Owe, don’t Marik.......”
Marik stopped what he was doing and looked up at the rigid, white haired yami.
“You need to relax. I know what I’m doing, I assure you of that. What I’m going to do will not
hurt.”
“I think you’re just taking advantage of me because I’m drunk and in pain.” Bakura retorted.
“You could be right.” Marik laughed, “Now shut up and let me work here.”
Bakura nodded his head and tried to relax as Marik’s tongue swirled around his shaft. He was so
drunk that he couldn’t fight Marik if he tried.
“Damn you Marik. Why’d you have to get me this drunk?”
“Because I like my victims easy.” Marik chuckled as he started kissing his way up Bakura’s
stomach. His tongue feathered over Bakura’s navel, causing Bakura to laugh.
“That tickles, you bastard!”
Bakura grabbed Marik’s hair and tried pulling him away, but Marik turned things around by
grabbing Bakura’s wrists and pinning them to the mattress.
“Gah, damnit Ishtar! I’m drunk! I’m don’t want to fuck!”
Marik nipped with his teeth at Bakura’s skin, just hard enough to leave a small red mark.
“Well I’m drund hod horny, so save your crying for someone who cares!”
“Marik, I said no!” Bakura protested. Had he been sober he could have fought the Egyptian off,
but he’d consumed enough beer to get a horse drunk, and his body wasn’t in sync with his
thoughts at the moment.
“That’s right baby, get hard for me.” Marik purred, feeling Bakura’s hardening length touching
his chin.
“Oh shut the hell up.” Bakura growled as his body reacted to the Egyptian.
“You’ll survive, I promise.” Marik snickered as he went down on Bakura.
Bakura gasp as Marik’s warm mouth surrounded his shaft. He bucked his hips upward and
clawed at the bed sheets.
“I am not your toy, Ishtar.”
Bakura’s nails tore at the sheets as Marik took him down his throat.
“This is like rape, you know.” Bakgrowgrowled as Marik coaxed his erection.
The Egyptian paused for a sec and chuckled.
“Can’t rape the willing, Bakura..”
Bakura clenched his eyes tightly shut and whimpered.
“Come on, Ishtar......stop this......”
“Give me a good reason to and I will.” Marik purred as he continued his oral assault.
Bakura thought for a minute, but really couldn’t of any “good” reasons.ik wik was very good at
what he was doing, dare say -and expert? Bakura fisted the sheets.
“Ugh..damn you to hell! I can’t think of any reason aside from I HATE YOU!”
“I hate every bone in your body, Bakura.......... except mine.” Marik grinned as he licked his
finger and pressed inside of Bakura.

            Ryou kicked off his covers and whimpered in pain. His hair was soaked with sweat.
“Malik......” Ryou moaned as he hugged himself.
“Huh? Ryou? What’s the matter?” Malik asked as he rolled over in bed facing Ryou.
“I-I.....h-hurt....again.” Ryou answered weakly. His bottom lip trembled as he spoke.
Malik sat up quickly and put his hand on Ryou’s forehead.
“You’re burning up Ryou, I think you need a doctor.”
Ryou’s eyes filled with tears as he rolled onto his side and curled up into a ball.
“I t-think..... I’m dying, Malik.” he sobbed.
Malik slid out of bed and pulled on his jeans. He picked up the phone next to Ryou’s bed and
started dialing.
“I’ll call Yugi and ask him to pick us up and take you in.”
Ryou clenched his eyes shut and cringed in pain. “M-Malik...it hurts so bad.” he cried.
“Hello, Yami? May I k wik with Yugi please? It’s an emergency.”
Ryou held his hand on his stomach and continued to cry.
“Thank you, Yugi. I really appreciate this. See you in a few minutes.” Malik said into the phone
as he pulled on his boots. He hung the phone up and threw on his shirt.
“Yugi’s on his way over, Ryou. I hope the doctors can help you.” Malik smiled as he leaned over
and kissed Ryou’s pale, tear-stained cheek.

            The next morning, Bakura woke up feeling rather ill. His stomach felt nauseated, and
head was pounding. He knew it would probably be advisable to head into the bathroom, but his
body felt like Jello, and he didn’t really feel like moving.
“I think I’m going to throw up!” Marik groaned as he dashed out of bed.
Bakura’s eyes shot open. “Ishtar? What on earth? Where am, how did, uh....oh shit.!”
Bakura’s mouth was dry, as were his eyes. His voice was horse, he he hadn’t an ng ang as to
what had happened the night before. Considering he was half naked in Marik’s bed, something
told him to assume the worst. His ass hurt, so he was almost positive he’d more than got drunk
and passed out.
“Damn it.......ISHTAR! Did we fuck last night?” Bakura yelled as he stumbled out of bed and
found his jeans.
Marik was too busy throwing up to answer him.
Bakura felt the urge to do the same, and since Marik was currently occupying the bathroom, he
opted to go outside. After he’d done what he had to do, he walked back up the stairs slowly,
clinging to the railing. He heard a car pull up, but didn’t think it was anything to be concerned
about. He went back into the small apartment and looked at himself in the mirror on the
bathroom door. Marik was sitting on the edge of the bathtub brushing his teeth.
“Marik? Do you have some clothes I can borrow? My shirt is all full of blood, and its almost
ripped to shreds. I can’t seem to locate my socks either.”
“In da dresher” Marik answered with white foam dripping down his chin.
Bakura went to Marik’s dresser and looked inside. He found a black long- sleeved t-shirt and a
pair of socks. Suddenly the urge to throw up hit him again. He near ran over Marik walking out as he bolted in.
            Marik was brushing the snarls out of his hair when he heard a knock on the door.
“Hold on” he shouted as he grabbed a pair of jeans from a pile in the corner of the living-room.
He was zipping the zipper as he opened the door.
Marik stared out with his eyes opened wide.
“Yami? What are you doing here?” he asked.
Staring down at his shoes, Yami answered in a low voice.
“Malik asked me to come over and ask you if you’ve seen Baku-........” Yami looked up caught
sight of Bakura walking out of the bathroom wearing only his jeans.
“Bakura?!?” Yami gasp.
Marik looked back at Bakura with wide eyes. “Shit.” he mumbled.
Yami stared at the two of them in disbelief.

A/n: Okay, so it's 2 am I'm I'm trying to edit this half drunk yet. LOL GREAT concert tonight, SO much crazy stuff. Really made me miss the old days. Anyway- Back to the story now......Ryou's not dying, he just feels like shit. We'll all find out what happened to him next chapter. I don't know what to think of Bakura and Marik, but I'm sure I'll have a better comprehension of their predicament when I wake up hung over. *snicker*
