Ah, no, sorry this is not the long awaited chapter to FtS, yet. I just wanted to give an apology and maybe
explain why I am taking so long to post this particular chapter. It’s
definitely not writer’s block – as you can see AoM is
getting on rather well. I just seem to have a large mental block when it comes
to this chapter. The ending is already written – it has been since November.
And I’ve known what I wanted to do with this story ever since I first started
writing it out long hand in a notebook, which was almost a year ago.Again I am really sorry. I haven’t given up on this yet, so
I can’t exactly call it on hiatus, nor is it discontinued – I stare at the damn
thing every day, but end up rewriting whatever I start cause
it doesn’t sound right. For those of you who have gotten sneak peeks at this
chap – I decided to scrap most of it once again. Sorry. I can honestly say that
I have 5 pages of it typed up and finally ready to go, but once again I’m
coming down to a topic that I would almost rather not deal with right now. So I
guess I’ll just lay it on the line. By the end of this chapter Shadi will die –
and I think it’s going to be a while before I can accomplish this. Not that I
actually think of these char in the same way I do people I know, but it has
been a truly difficult 6 months and I just can’t bring myself to finish the
scene.I know that you guys don’t want a half ass chap – or a half
ass ending, so I haven’t posted anything at all rather than do a piss poor job
just to get it over and done with.If you would be patient with me for just a little longer I
