Things were beyond weird. First, Yugi and Yami called him, frantic. Then he got a call from Ryou with a raging Bakura in the background. Lastly, Solomon called, frantic with worry and informing him of attacks on several hunters. They all said the same thing.Demons were looking for him. Joey winced as he dropped some feathers into the bowl. Demons couldn’t locate him, so they were going after his friends instead; probably in an effort to flush him out.“Do something about this. Or I will.”That had been Bakura’s warning before Ryou had bravely snatched the phone back and apologized profusely. Joey knew he was right. He had to find out what was going on before the full wrath of Hell came down on his friends; although he would never think of the white-haired demon as a friend.Joey dropped the last ingredient and the bowl let out a big white poof of smoke. When the smoke cleared, a tall blonde woman stood only a few feet from him. She wore tight fitting clothes that accentuated her curves and large boobs. She let out a bone-shivering giggle.“Hello, Joey. It’s been too long, dearie,” she said, taking a step forward. She was abruptly stopped from getting too close. Clearly confused, she slowly craned her head back to look up. Drawn on the ceiling above her was a large mystical circle with a star in the center and special symbols along the side. When she dropped her head back down, she glared. Joey only chuckled in response.“Hi, Mai,” Joey said, grinning.“What’s wrong, Joey? Don’t trust little ‘ol Mai?” she asked, in a teasing voice and flutter of eyelashes.“Fuck no,” Joey said, point blank.Mai pouted before smirking and placing her hands on her hips.“Well, you’ve either trapped me here to send me back underground or…you’re looking for information,” Mai said.Joey walked around the table with a gun held down by his side. Mai wasn’t worried, though. She knew the hunter had no vendetta against her and she didn’t come aboveground to torture or kill. Only to take pleasure from what mortal men had to give.“I need information, Mai. My friends were attacked by demons. They say they’re looking for me. I want to know why the sudden interest,” Joey told her.He watched as Mai’s eyes rolled back to reveal solid black eyes. The smirk added with it completed her demonic features.“Oh, I know why the interest. There’s a demon contract out on your lovely ass, Joey. A high price, too. High enough to have all of Hell looking for you,” Mai explained. It made sense. He had only one contract in place and not even his best friend, Yugi, knew about it. In fact, the only person who knew of the deal was the person he had made it with. He was certain of that.Great. And I thought Vampires were my biggest problems, Joey thought.“Do you know who put out the contract?” Joey demanded.Mai tilted her head to the side. “I don’t know, but I can find out.”Joey was always uneasy when working with Mai. The blonde bombshell had once tried seducing him and had nearly succeeded. That was before he found out she was a demon.“What’s your price, Mai?” Joey asked.Mai’s eyes slid back down to reveal normal human eyes. She threw her head back with her infamous giggle.“What makes you think I want something?”“You always want something.”Mai didn’t refute that idea. She scrunched up her face in thought before a sly grin appeared on her face.“I want you…to tell me why no demon can ever seem to find you. It’s making things particularly hard for everyone to find you,” Mai commented.Joey shook his head.“No.”Mai pouted.“Come now, Joey. It’s a simple question. Is it a tattoo? A spell? Got a little special guardian angel standing on your shoulder?”Mai raised her eyebrows when Joey’s response was to raise his gun and aim it at her head. His finger easily flicked off the safety. She held her hands up in a weak show of surrender.“You humans are so pathetic. Fiiiine. I’ll take a kiss as payment.”Joey raised an eyebrow.“Before or after?”Mai cackled. “I’ll take my reward after I report back. Now…care to let me go?”Without taking his eyes off Mai, Joey raised his gun to the ceiling and shot a bullet straight through it. The bullet struck perfectly through part of the circle, thus freeing the demon. She was gone in the blink of an eye.Joey put his gun down on the table as he began cleaning up. His gaze fell on something sitting on the table. The frown on his face melted away into a smile. It was a pair of tickets Yugi had mailed him; the short hunter was always trying to give his hunter friends opportunities to a normal life.Joey pulled out his cell phone and flipped it open. He thumbed through his contacts before he came across the one he was searching for. He hadn’t seen the other male in a while and Mai would need time to find out about the contact. Joey pressed Call and brought the phone up to his ear. The phone was picked up halfway through the second ring.“Joey!”Joey chuckled. The other male sounded really excited to hear from him. Joey talked to him on a weekly basis, but it had been about a month since he had last seen him.“Hey, kiddo. What’s going on? Where you at today?”Chuckle. “I’m in Scotland. Did you know they train dogs to herd sheep here?”Joey laughed. He remembered the first time he had seen sheep herding. Now nothing really surprised him, anymore.“I did. Hey, kid, listen. I got two tickets to the North Carolina State Fair and I was wondering if you wanted to go.”“I’d love to!”Joey frowned. He turned around in time to see a black blur launch itself at him. He landed on his back with a loud OOF and his phone clattered off somewhere. Currently sitting on his stomach was a pre-teen boy with long black hair and dark-colored eyes. Joey laughed.“You gotta do that every time, Mokie?” Joey asked.“Mokie” laughed as he jumped up to his feet. He held out his hand to Joey who took it. The blonde wasn’t surprised when the youth barely pulled on his arm and easily launched him up onto his feet.“I’ve missed you, Joey. I should visit you more often,” the youth told him.Joey shook his head.“Nah. I want you to be safe, Mokuba. I’d hurt at least one of us if you were with me while I’m huntin’.”Mokuba pouted at him, but eventually acquiesced.“You’re right, Joey. So when’s the fair?” he said, switching instantly from pouting to excitement.“Well, it’s actually tomorrow. I suppose I should have waited to call ya.”Mokuba shook his head, sending his flying everywhere.“Nah uh. It gives me more time to spend with you. What’s for dinner?”Joey’s eyes went wide and he threw his hands up.“What’s for dinner?! Do I look like a freakin’ diner to you? No, no. You must have mistaken me for a chef at a four star restaurant!!”Mokuba’s laughter filled the air./……/
Mokuba was having a blast. He hadn’t told Joey it was his first time at a fair like this. They had had a full day of fun; eating greasy food, playing games, etc. That poor carnie was probably still trying to figure out how both of them won his game on the first try. Now they were riding the Ferris Wheel.
He could tell by the way Joey fidgeted that he wanted to say something.“Did you want to say something, Joey?” Mokuba asked, flashing him a big smile.“I hope you don’t mind me asking, kid, but…” Joey paused. “…how is that you came to be living in Maine?”Mokuba’s smile slowly wilted. Joey quickly moved to apologize, but Mokuba only held up a hand. Joey wasn’t surprised when the Ferris Wheel came a screeching halt, leaving them teetering at the top. Mokuba stared out over the horizon where he could see so much.“You’ve already told me your biggest secret, Joey. A secret that no one else knows. I should be comfortable enough to tell you my history. After all, you already know I’m half-demon.”Joey nodded. Yes. It had been quite the surprise to go on a mission to a town of strange occurrences, only to find Mokuba. A group of hunters had trapped the boy and enlisted Joey’s help when he came. They had somehow trapped the boy and been “playing” with him.Upon hearing the youth’s lineage from the head hunter and the youth’s pleas to leave him alone, Joey had knocked the hunters out cold. Mokuba had been wary to trust him until Joey told him a very big secret, one that gave Mokuba reason to trust him. He set the half-demon loose and the child chose to remain on Earth, much preferring to be around humans.“I was living below ground with my big brother. I was only four when an angel appeared in Hell and brought me aboveground. I guess he thought I was a full human child trapped in Hell. He left me on the doorstep of that foster family the hunters killed. They were only human. They didn’t deserve to die.”Joey agreed. Granted, he was known for jumping into things before thinking, but those hunters had jumped the gun quicker than him.“And you know the rest. No one can detect me unless I want to be found. I decided to travel around. And this is my real body, not a meat suit,” Mokuba added. That brought up a new series of questions.“Tell me about your brother, kid. Is he like you?”Mokuba shook his head.“Big brother is all demon. But he has his own body, just like me. It makes it easier for him to travel between here and Hell.”“Ain’t he worried about you?”Mokuba shrugged. “Big brother knows I can take care of myself. He probably just thinks I’m on vacation. He knows I like exploring.”Joey smiled. “Thanks for tellin’ me, kid. Hey, I hope ya had a good time tonight.”Mokuba laughed. Joey suddenly found himself sliding across the seat to Mokuba who threw his arms around him in a tight embrace.“I always have fun with you, Joey. You’re like a big brother.”That thought made Joey hug Mokuba tight against him./……/
It was a couple of days later after he had called Mai and a day after Mokuba left to explore India. Joey set up his usual concoction, not even bothering with the demon trap this time. He had chosen a warehouse out in the middle of nowhere. However, when he dropped the final piece in and the smoke cleared, Mai was nowhere to be seen. Joey frowned and ran all the steps through his head.
No. He hadn’t missed anything. Confused, Joey started to go through the motions again. Suddenly, a hand snagged his shoulder and whipped him around. Mai stood behind him with a frantic look on her face.“I can’t believe what a dumb fuck you are! First, the whole damn nonsense that started the contract and now summoning a demon without a trap? Were you born without a brain?!” Mai hissed.Joe shook her hand off and glared.“What the Hell is wrong with you? You hate it when I put up traps. How is this time any different?” Joey demanded.Mai’s eyes slid back to reveal a soulless black.“It’s different now because I know who put out the contract on you.”A shiver ran up Joey’s back. The way she said it led him to believe this wouldn’t be a simple summon, “persuade” to remove contract, and kill.“Who? Who has the contract out on me?” Joey asked.Mai opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Joey stared at her confused as he watched her hands came down to her stomach. Joey watched in horror as a small stain of red quickly spread over her white blouse. Her eyes, now back to their normal appearance, moved back up to his face.“Joey, run.”Suddenly, her feet were pulled out from under her and she was flipped to her back. She threw her hands up screaming as she was suddenly yanked forcefully across the ground and out a door. The door slammed behind her.“The hounds do leave such a mess.”Joey froze. Making a quick mental check of all exits, Joey slowly turned around. Standing a few feet from him was a tall brunette was striking dark blue eyes. He wore a long-sleeved, black button-up shirt with the top few buttons unbuttoned and tight, black jeans. Joey could see a partial image of a tattoo across his chest above his heart. Well, where a heart would have been. The male chuckled.“So you’re the elusive little hunter everyone has been searching for? Hmm. I’m almost disappointed,” the demon said.Joey’s gaze narrowed.“What? Afraid you won’t get paid for the contract?” Joey asked. The demon chuckled again as he crossed his arms over his chest.“Oh, there’s no worry about that.” Smirk. “After all, I’m the one who put out the contract.”Oh shit.“We haven’t met, mutt. My name is Seto and I’m your worst nightmare.”“That’s what most demons like to tell me. What makes you any different from them?”“None of those demons were the biological older brother to a half-demon. Killed by your hands.”Joey gasped.“Wait. You think I…” Joey gasped, his voice suddenly gone in an instant.Seto’s smirk was gone; now replaced with a dark look upon his face.“You should know that the hunters you were with…the ones who bragged they wasted a half-demon child with you…” Smirk. “They were the first to die.”Without warning, the demon suddenly disappeared without a sound. Joey’s eyes darted all around. He startled badly when two hands grabbed his arms from behind. They kept his arms down by his sides. A body molded against his back and a voice hissed in his ear.“You don’t know who I am, do you, mutt?” Chuckle. “That doesn’t surprise me. You see, very few dare to speak my name outside of Hell and you haven’t had the pleasure of being one of my guests…until now.”Double freaking shit. Was this demon implying he was…?“Most demons know me as the Prince of Hell. You murdered someone very dear to me and well? I can’t stand for that. Hope you enjoyed your life, mutt. You’ll be spending the rest of it as my pet.”All the sudden, something smacked into Seto’s face, forcing him to release his hold and take a couple of steps back. A blade slid down a shirt sleeve and into Joey’s right hand. He caught Seto in the arm and face before doing exactly what Mai had told him to do. Run.Seto chuckled deeply. The cuts began to heal and stitch themselves closed.“Well, if it’s a chase you want…”Joey ran through the building, trying to find a way out. All the exits were sealed shut; probably by demonic means, he thought. He tried to get a signal on his phone, but the warehouse was out in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly, in mid-step, he was tripped up by something. He realized what that something was in an instance. He felt a sharp pair of claws dig into his leg. Gritting his teeth in pain, Joey quickly slid his blade straight up through where the chest area was. The claws immediately stopped and a heavy invisible weight dropped onto him. Joey shoved it off him before rolling to his feet and taking off again.Oh, gods! Why didn’t the kid tell him his older brother was fucking psychotic?! For once in his life, Joey felt fear. Fear for his own life.Over the next hour, the demon played with him; chasing him, scaring the wits out of him, and causing an occasional injury or two. Finally, Seto tripped him up and forced him flat against the ground, unable to move or speak. He felt a hand on his ankle, the one the hell hound had grabbed.Seto twisted Joey’s ankle harshly, greatly enjoying the snap he heard. Joey released a silent scream. Seto was pleased to see a stream of tears running down the hunter’s face. He was honestly surprised how long it took the hunter to break. He leaned down and licked at the trail of tears on the boy’s face. Seto disappeared and reappeared across the room. He brought his bloody hand up to lick up the droplets. The demon made an hmm sound. There was a slight tang to the blonde’s blood; he had never tasted anything quite like it.Joey let out a silent gasp as his body was forced across the floor and up into the air. He floated in mid-air with his feet dangling only a foot above the floor. His arms hang limp by his side while his chin rested on his chin. The hunter was surprised the demon had been nice enough to still let him breathe. He suddenly found his head snapped up by an invisible force. Seto stood very close to him with pure white eyes. It freaked the Hell out of him to be forced to stare into the eerily empty eyes. The demon brought a hand up to pat him gently on the cheek like a parent would do while comforting their child.“There, there, little hunter. We have a short trip and a long night ahead of us. But I wonder.” Smirk. “Should I give you your voice back?”Joey hoped to God and the heavens above that the demon did give him his voice back. He already knew what he would say. Seto’s white eyes receded to reveal his dark blue eyes. Joey saw Seto make a swift gesture with his hand and he suddenly found himself able to speak.Seto had expected the hunter to beg for his life; to apologize over and over; or to even offer to make a deal. What he said, however, made no sense.“Mo…kie.”Seto came closer with a narrowed gaze.“What did you say, mutt?” Seto hissed.Somehow, Joey managed to lift his gaze and speak in a much stronger voice, “Mokie.”“Seto.”The demon whirled around at the sound of the familiar voice. Mokuba stood a few feet from him, clearly uninjured and whole. The youth’s eyes went past him and to Joey.“Big brother, what did you do to Joey?”Seto’s concentration dropped and Joey did, too. He would have hit the floor hard, were it not for Mokuba throwing his hand up and gently lowering him to the ground. Joey closed his eyes with a groan. All of his injuries were throbbing painfully. Very painfully. There was a pounding in his ears that blocked out part of the speech between the two brothers.“He…you…dead…hunters…”“…wrong…protect……substitute…brother…”Right now, I want to crawl into a bed with some morphine pumped into my blood and ignore you both, Joey thought. He rolled onto his side that wasn’t throbbing like someone had ripped a rib out. He felt the earth shake and that just made everything hurt. The shaking covered up another groan.“…THE HELL…WITH A HUNTER?! …NOTHING IN COMMON!”Well, that would explain the Earth shaking. The big bad demon prince was having a temper tantrum. All the sudden, Joey’s eyes snapped open as he heard Mokuba’s voice clear as day.“YOU’RE WRONG ABOUT JOEY, SETO! WE HAVE A LOT IN COMMON, INCLUDING…”“Mokuba, no!”He wasn’t sure what relieved him more; that the earth stopped shaking or that Mokuba didn’t finish his sentence. Mokuba suddenly appeared in his line of sight, kneeling down by his side. He had a confused look on his face.“Joey, I…”“Don’t, kid. You promised. I told you to keep it a secret. Don’t ya break yer promise. Don’t.”Mokuba could see what Seto couldn’t. He saw the true agony in the blonde’s chocolate brown orbs; the broken heart of a man who felt like no one truly knew who he was. Mokuba nodded.“Okay.”Joey gave him a small smile with a barely contained wince.“Can you do me a favor, kid?”Mokuba already knew without Joey saying something. He reached up to place a hand on Joey’s head.“Sleep.”Joey’s eyes fell shut as he fell into a deep sleep. Mokuba patted the hunter gently on the head before standing. Seto watched in surprise as his younger brother’s eyes rolled back to reveal a shocking pair of violetish gray eyes.“You hurt my friend,” Mokuba said.Seto raised an eyebrow. “A hunter is not a friend. They are prey; they are meat suits; they are even play toys. They are not friends.”Suddenly, all the windows smashed simultaneously and doors flew off their hinges. A hurricane of glass swirled around them, but touched neither the demons nor the unconscious blonde.“I said it once and I’ll say it again. You’re wrong about Joey. He doesn’t have a choice. He has to hunt.”Despite the glass shards threatening to rip his skin open, Seto remained calm.“What do you mean?”Mokuba’s eyes receded to their normal color and the glass fell to the ground around him. The half-demon shook his head.“Joey told me a secret in confidence. I made a promise, Seto. I’m not breaking that promise.” Glare. “Now fix this.”Seto rolled his eyes. He snapped his fingers and the fallen hunter disappeared from the ground, only to reappear in his arms. He gave his brother a pointed look.“Happy?” Seto asked, sarcastically.Mokuba smirked.“I’d be happier if he wasn’t beaten within an inch of his life.”Seto looked down at the hunter in his arms. His temper had gotten the better of him. He had worked the boy over pretty good.“More like six inches.”Mokuba broke out in a chuckle and rolled his eyes. He walked over to the two males and looked down at Joey sadly.“Did you have to break his ankle?”“Shut up, Mokuba.”Mokuba shook his head with a sigh.“Come on, big brother. You caused this. You get to carry him.”The demon had to fight the urge to smirk. If only his brother knew how good it felt having the hunter in his arms. He couldn’t quite explain it and that intrigued him. No hunter had ever piqued his interest to this degree./……/
“…And now we go to commercial.”
Joey sighed as he threw off his blanket. He pulled his legs over and stood with pressure on his good leg. It had been a week since Mokuba’s attitude of an older brother had found him and nearly taken him down to Hell on a one-way trip. Joey only had a small limp now from his formerly broken ankle. He limped over to the table by the door. He muddled through the coins he had sitting there before snatching up what he needed. Leaving the television on, Joey put the card key in his back pocket and limped out the door. For once, he found himself in the indoor carpeted hallway of a nice hotel. He had decided it would be good to get some R&R before continuing hunting.Joey limped down the quiet hallway. He knew from the desk attendant that he was the only one on the entire third floor. Thank the heavens for out of season hotel hopping. The blonde limped down the hall and around the corner, just past the elevators. To his relief, the drink machine had his favorite drink. He put his money in and stabbed his finger into the Wild Cherry Pepsi button. To his relief, the drink dropped almost instantly. Joey leaned down to retrieve it.“Cute ass.”Joey let out a small eep as he yanked his hand up and whirled around. Seto was there leaning against the wall with one leg bent out with the foot on the wall. His arms were crossed over his chest and a small playful smile on his face. Joey glared as he turned partially away so he could grab his drink. He spoke as he unscrewed the cap.“I’ll be sure to put that on my résumé. The demon of all demons said I have a nice ass. Employers love to hear that kind of crap,” Joey replied.Seto watched him as the blonde took a good, long sip of his drink.“Mokuba asked that I check up on you,” Seto commented.Joey capped his drink and turned himself so he was facing the demon more.“You can tell him he can just text next time. I’m fine,” Joey said, before taking a few steps away.Seto let him get to the corner before speaking again.“You intrigue me, Joey. You somehow managed to break my hold on you and knew exactly where to strike to kill a Hell hound. I haven’t encountered any other hunter like you,” Seto stated. He sounded like this frustrated him. Joey didn’t want him to suspect anything so he tried to deter him.“Every hunter is different. Woulda thought the Prince of Hell would have known that,” Joey chuckled.Seto rolled his head and eyes to him with a lazy look.“Yes, but all the other hunters can be found. I only found you because Mai led me right to you. Only certain creatures can hide themselves from detection. And you are clearly not any of them.”Joey began running a mantra of curses through his head. He almost thought the demon heard him by the way he pushed off the shelf to turn and face him with a smirk.“The only thing I can figure is that you must be like Mokuba. A Halfling.”Joey rolled his eyes before looking at the taller male. He said nothing but narrowed his gaze. It deepened as the demon dared to step closer to him.“A vampire wouldn’t have bled as beautiful as you did.” Angry hiss. “And you don’t smell nearly bad enough to be a mutt with fur.”Seto continued to list a few things off. There were some creatures he mentioned that Joey had never heard of. He stepped back, ready to completely blow off the demon, when Seto’s eyes instantly shifted to his demonic white and his hands were suddenly grasping Joey’s wrists.Joey kept his steady glare, even as the demon forced him closer. He felt bile rise to his throat when the demon leaned down and took a big, single sniff of his neck. The chuckle that trickled down the side of his neck made Joey swallow that feeling back, despite the tingling shivers up his back. If asked, he wouldn’t be able to say if those were bad shivers or good.“Very curious. That I didn’t sense it before now. You heal faster just like them but you don’t move about like they do. And I can’t see your true form.”Joey growled.“So you figured it out. Now why don’t you take your demon tail and get the Hell out of my face?” Joey spat angrily.Seto let loose another deep, spine-tingling laugh. Joey found his wrists suddenly released, but his arms snapped to his sides against his will. He got the second biggest shock of his life when the demon leaned in and claimed his mouth.Joey moaned. Sure, he had been kissed by Mai before, but this demon forced more pleasure to the surface. Mai had been pushy with trying to force Joey to give pleasure; Seto took it. The demon’s tongue slid into his mouth as he held the side of his face with a firm hand; the other hand was in parts unknown.Seto moved his head away and down to bite harshly at his throat. Joey bucked his hips forward with a loud gasp. Seto chuckled. Joey suddenly felt the presence of the demon’s other hand. It was resting over his hip with his hand inside his jeans and his thumb hooked through a belt loop.“Do you trust me?” Seto hissed in his ear.“No,” Joey said, not hesitating for a second. The dark chuckle in his ear sent pleasant shivers up his back.“Good. A cute and smart little angel.”Joey jerked his head back to glare at the demon who only smirked back at him.“Don’t call me that.”Joey suddenly found himself flat on his back on a soft surface. A quick glance around revealed them to be back in Joey’s hotel room. Seto leaned down so far he was pressing Joey uncomfortably into the bed. His lips brushed over Joey’s ear as he spoke.“I’ve slept with humans. I’ve fucked demons. I’ve even had a succubus warm my bed. None of them taste as good as you. Allow me to…make amends for losing my temper.”Joey opened his mouth to protest, but Seto’s mouth was on his again and hands were everywhere on his…naked!...body. Joey tried to bring his hands up to shove the demon away. To his horror, they were bound at the wrists to the headboard and whatever binding it was, he couldn’t break. Joey jerked his eyes closed and tried to block out the pleasure that racked his body from the demon’s touch. Without warning, the demon’s presence disappeared altogether.Suddenly, Joey threw his head back and let out an earth-shattering scream. He found himself breathing harder than ever. Not even after the marathon running from that werewolf pack had left him so out of breath. He whimpered as his body finally caught up to him and he discovered what Seto was up to now. Or, in this case, down. The demon was drinking down his essence (when the Hell had he come?!) and sucking gently on his member. In contrast to the gentle sucking, his hands were running rough circles over his thighs. The dual senses left Joey shivering and desperately wanting his hands to be free.“Demonic bastard.”Seto chuckled around his mouthful. Joey got the jolt of his life when a demonic hand slid up to his stomach and pressed. A jolt of pure power zipped through his body and Joey found himself forcing a second release from that alone. And Seto was still there to swallow it all down. This demon is going to be the death of me, Joey thought. His body was already overheated as it was. Seto kept stroking his member and sucking past the point of being painful. Joey couldn’t help but let out a low whine. Thankfully, that seemed to wake the demon up as he finally released the aching member. He slid up the hunter’s body until he rested his head on the blonde’s stomach. Joey groaned in protest and bucked his hips up, frowning when all he earned himself was a chuckle.“Get off me, you ass. And let my wrists go,” he said in a tired voice. The blonde hunter yelped when a pair of sharp teeth nipped at his skin.“Go to sleep, pup. We’ll play more in the morning.”Almost as if Seto’s words were magic, Joey closed his eyes and fell fast asleep. A few hours later, Joey woke up to find himself unbound and lying under his covers. There were no marks on his wrists, he was clothed, and his soda was sitting over on the table half-empty. It was no longer light outside and he could see the moon rising. Joey sat up and rubbed at his eyes.“Damn. That was a Hell of a dream,” Joey mumbled. The man, despite being a demon, was very easy on the eyes and it had been so long since Joey had felt the touch of another. No one had ever brought him such pleasure or made him come so easily. Oh sure, he had creature or demon hands on him all the time, but that was to throw him off as he tried to kill them. Well, except Mai.He threw the covers off and stumbled to his feet. Joey assumed he must have come back to the room and lay down to rest his ankle. The television was off which was unlike him, but he shrugged that off. He limped over to the bathroom. One of the greatest things about this hotel was the bathroom. It was nice and clean bathroom with a large spacious shower; a long counter top with two sinks across from it and a toilet that didn’t have brown water in it. He started the hot water in the shower before slipping his shirt off and dropping his pants. Rather than kick his clothes away, Joey bent down with a small wince to pick them up. He placed the clothes on the sink counter and hopped into the shower.Joey shivered as the hot water cascaded down his sore body. With his head bowed, he stood under the showerhead and let the water run down his back. Joey slowly opened his eyes, but kept his head bowed. His nerves had suddenly gone on high alert and he sensed another presence. He waited. And noticed something on his stomach. When he felt the presence get dangerously close, Joey whipped around and caught a wrist in a tight grip. It didn’t surprise him to see Seto standing fully clothed in the shower with him. Because of where he stood, Seto was out of the spray of the showerhead. Seto flexed his hand and Joey tightened his grip on the wrist.“Upset I wasn’t here when you woke up, dear?”Joey leveled a glare at him. It almost made the demon prince laugh. So the nightmare wasn’t a nightmare.“No. I get upset when someone tries to touch muh back,” Joey growled angrily.Seto chuckled with a shrug of his shoulders.“I only wanted to touch your wings, puppy,” Seto told him.Joey glared at both the comment and pet name. Drawn masterfully along his shoulder blades was the outline of a pair of black wings. His friends had seen the tattoo before, but none of them knew that he used that to shield his actual physical wings.“I can accept ya touchin’ me, but not my wings. Prince of Hell or not, I will gut you if you touch them,” Joey said.At that point, Joey released Seto’s wrist and Seto shot forward. He touched Joey’s cheek with a warm hand and connected their mouths. This time, Joey took the initiative and slipped his tongue into the demon’s open mouth. He groaned when Seto sucked on his tongue and slipped his hand up into his hair. The demon’s hand massaged his head firmly as the two made out. After a while, Joey had to break away to breathe. Seto chuckled as he leaned their foreheads against each other. He could tell the hunter wanted to say something so he waited to hear what he had to say.“Before you touch me more, you wanna explain what the Hell this is?” Joey asked, gesturing to his middle.Taking a step back and releasing his new lover, Seto smirked as his gaze moved downward.“It looks like a limp penis to me.” Glance up. “Would you like me to fix that?”Seto ducked to avoid the punch to his nose. He knelt down and splayed his hands across Joey’s stomach. The blonde shivered as light fingertips danced over the mark on his skin. The mark was a pair of dragons overlaying a ying and yang circle. Each dragon was the same color of the circle and curled around their respective parts of the circle. They had their heads turned towards each other in the center; their mouths wide open with glowing balls of light in them.Joey moaned when Seto leaned forward to kiss and lick at the mark. The skin there was apparently very sensitive. Joey didn’t know if the skin was sensitive overall or if it was just sensitive to Seto’s touch. Seto slid up his body, his body now naked from a concealed snap of his fingers. Joey shivered again as Seto traced his tongue over his lips before whispering to him and pressing a light hand to the mark.“This is my mark, pup. Any demon that sees it will know you’ve been claimed. Less than a handful of demons recognize it as my mark.”Joey chuckled, causing Seto to raise an eyebrow in question.“That’s funny. I don’t feel like I’ve been…claimed.”Seto tilted Joey’s head back so he could lean down further and nip his bottom lip.“I will claim you so hard you won’t be leaving the bed for a good long time, puppy.”The two disappeared from the shower with the hot water still running down the drain.Author's Note: Hint Hint. There's a follow-up chapter coming.
