Chapter Two.
Yugi and the others raced for the waiting room for the hospital, there was a police officer standing there talking to Anzu�s mother, who looked like she was in total shock. As the boys got closer, they could overhear the conversation and it didn�t sound good either.
�She�s not a whore, if you�re wondering. She�s a schoolgirl. She�s not even into drugs, drinking or having sex. She�s a virgin for God�s sake!� Mrs. Mazaki cried out.
�I�m sorry but we have to make sure that she�s not going behind your back and having sex with men, Mrs. Mazaki. We will be needing to talk with her friends to double check her sexual history,� the police officer said.
�Mrs. Mazaki, how�s Anzu? What happened?� asked Yugi, as he reached her side.
�Yugi, Anzu was raped last night,� Mrs. Mazaki said calmly.
�WHAT?!� cried out Yugi, Honda, Bakura, Jounouchi.
�I should had insisted that she took the cab I offered to call her.� thought Yugi.
Back in the soul room of Yami, he could feel the huge sense of sadness. Yami tried to open his soul door to go visit Yugi to find out what happened but the door was sealed shut, he could not open it. �Yugi, open my soul door! Let me out! What�s wrong?� he yelled, as he pounded on the door itself. He got no response what so ever from his Aibou.
Bakura�s dark side emerged. �Who ever did this to her, will enjoy the shadow realm very much. No one gets away with harming my Aibou�s friends, no one but me.�
In the hallway, everyone was sitting there looking shocked as they looked at their hands, twisting their hair around their fingers. Malik had finally arrived and sat down next to Bakura and got an update on Anzu, even he was shocked by what had happened.
�How did this happen, when?� asked Honda.
�It happened about�from the first call into the station, the rape took place at about 11:58pm, last night. The ambulance drivers brought her here at 12:30am. It was a quick and sudden attack on Miss Mazaki. The rapist did what he wanted with her and fled. No one saw anyone come from the alley before she crawled out.� The police officer stated, looking at her notes. �When did you last see her?�
�I saw her outside The Game Shop, that�s where I live with my grandfather, at 11:15pm; she had pulled on her light brown jacket and started to walk towards where she lives with her mom.� Yugi said.
�Are you her boyfriend?� asked the officer.
�No, just very good friends with her�all of us are. Can we see her?� asked Yugi.
�In a bit, do you know if she has a boyfriend or not?� asked the officer. �We want to make sure he�s ruled out.�
�She has no boyfriends,� Mrs. Mazaki stated.
�She has a crush on one boy, though,� Honda spoke up.
�Who is he?� asked the police officer.
�Yugi is her crush,� Honda replied, pointing towards Yugi.
�Where were you at 11:45pm?� asked the police officer, writing something down in her book.
�I was in the kitchen making a midnight snack for everyone,� Yugi said.
�Did anyone see you in the kitchen?� asked the officer.
�I don�t think so; everyone was tied up in the movie we were watching last night Gladiator with Russell Crow. I was popping microwaveable popcorn and melting extra butter since we like our popcorn with extra butter.� Yugi stated.
�Why didn�t Anzu stay with you for the movie?�
Yugi scratched the back of his head; he didn�t want to reveal the guys� secrets without conferring with them. He glanced over at them and saw them nod. �Well, she knew we all wanted to be alone with our lovers, so she left,�
�Your lovers, can you tell us your girlfriends� names so we can collaborate your tale?� asked the female officer.
All the guys immediately looked scared. This didn�t go unnoticed by the police officer. It stated to her, that they might have gang raped Anzu and threw her into a dark alleyway and raced home to cover their tracks.
�I�m going to have to ask all of you to come down to the station with me.� The police officer said.
�But why?� asked Sugoroku.
�They are possible suspects of raping Miss Anzu Mazaki,� the officer replied.
�But we�re innocent of that crime! We couldn�t have raped her! We�re GAY!� yelled Yugi.
The officer looked stunned at the several boys standing there. Then, it struck her; some of the boys were holding hands in a very loving manner. It made them no longer suspects but still it was odd that all of the boys standing there in the hallway were homosexual males and they looked so normal. She quickly jotted down a note and then asked, �Does she have any enemies who might want to do this to her?�
�What do you mean?� asked Jounouchi.
�Anyone who would want to do her harm, like for example an ex-boyfriends perhaps?� the officer asked.
�Well, there was this one guy who tried to trip her during a dance duel, his name was Johnny Step. But I do not think he would do a thing like that,� Yugi said, as he looked at the officer. �Look, can we go visit Anzu?�
�Well, she�s talking to my partner about the attack. Maybe afterwards,� the female officer said.
Just then, the other female officer walked out of the room. She looked tired. The officer looked at the several boys and an elderly grandfather. �Who are they?�
�They�re friends of Ms. Mazaki�s. They wish to see her.� The female officer said. �Did she give you any information on who did this to her?�
The female officer shook her head. �She has gone silent about who did it. She won�t talk about it. I reassured her that the assailant will be captured and arrested for what he did to her, but she won�t talk about it.�
�Think he threatened her?� asked the other officer.
�Yes,�
Yugi knew he could help. �Maybe I can help get her to talk about it? I am after all her friend; maybe she�ll feel comfortable talking to me about it.�
�Okay, maybe she will tell you about him.� The female officer said, as she led the young boys into the room where Anzu was at. She didn�t tell them that Anzu was thrust against the wall while she was raped, bruising her face.
Yugi came over to her side and touched her hand. �Anzu, we�re here. Can you tell me about the one who did this to you?�
"I can't tell you. He'll find out!" cried Anzu.
Yugi wondered what he could do to help her. "Anzu, did he say something to you?"
The female officer realized that the rapist had threatened her with what to keep her silence. She jotted everything down of her own feelings about this case. She wasn't sure if they could catch this rapist or not.
Anzu nodded as she looked down to her hands.
Yugi asked, "Anzu, could you tell what he said?"
"He told me...after he looked at my ID, stating that now that I know where you live, if you tell anyone that I'm the one who did this to you, I will return to rape and kill your mother in front of you before I rape you again. I can't tell or he'll come back and follow through." Anzu cried out.
Honda looked at Anzu, and spoke, �We won't let anything happen to you Anzu or to your mom. Will we Joey?�
Jounouchi barked. �Honda, the jerk might have a gun or a knife y' know.�
The police officer told the boys that they will take care of it and it was a police matter and being a vigilante will not solve the problem. Sugoroku Motou suggested that Anzu and her mom stay with them and that he and Yugi will stay at their house so to throw the guy off and hopefully catch him.
The female officer looked at them. �I do not think that will be a way to catch him. He�s not aware that Anzu had told anyone who he is. That threat he made, I feel deals with if he�s pulled into a line up as he�ll realize that she told us that it was him and he�ll go through with his threat. She can go home after she uses the nurse�s shower to get clean. My sister works here and she�ll loan Anzu some clothes to get home in. These clothes will have to be placed in evidence so when we catch this creep, it will be there for proof.�
Sugoroku Motou spoke, �Anzu and her mother if they feel threatened can always stay at our home,�
Anzu�s mother said, bowing several times over. �Thank you for your offer. We will let you know if we�re in need to stay with you, Sugoroku.�
Sugoroku smiled and placed his hand on Yugi�s shoulder. �It would be an honor to have you two stay with us in case it is needed. Yugi, lets go back home. The shop needs to be reopened and you need to talk to your friend,�
�Thanks grandpa.� Yugi said. He knew Anzu loved pizza so he turned to her mom and asked, �When you two are home, can I bring some pizza over from Pizza Cats for Anzu?�
"That would be good of you, Yugi. Thank you," Anzu's mother said, as she took hold of his hand. "Thank you for being my daughter's friend,"
�No problem, Mrs. Mazaki.� Yugi said.
Anzu was escorted by the female officer to the female showers and was outside the shower stall as she showered and then changed into the clothes given to her by the officer�s sister.
Honda and Jounouchi walked back and forth waiting to see Anzu come out of the room so they could escort her to her mom's car. Then, she emerged from the room, changed into the different clothes. Anzu wrapped her arms around her, not really wanting to let her arms swing freely.

Honda and Jounouchi watched as Anzu got into her mother�s car and not even a wave goodbye drove away. �Honda, think she�s going to be okay?�
�I�m not sure, Jounouchi. Rape can kill someone�s spirit. I want to find out who this guy is, so I can beat the tar out of him,� Honda said.
�We can't do that it would hurt Anzu�s court case if we go after him. Let the law handle him,� said Yugi.
Jounouchi snapped, �We don't even know who else he's done this too there could be other girls that he's hushed up about this and the jerk wasn't even wearing protection...I haven't seen Mai for a while I hope she's ok?�
�I�m sure she�s fine. Do you have her number, call her if you�re worried about her,� Yugi said.
Jounouchi dialed Mai�s phone number. �Hi Mai, how are you doing?�
�I�m good, just finished a tournament here in America. I got first place. The duelists here are not in the same category as Yugi or Seto or you are. So how�s everything going on your end?� asked Mai.
�Mai, Anzu was raped last night.�
�What? Is she okay? Did she say who did it?� asked Mai.
�She refused to state the name of who raped her; we�re thinking he had threatened her, Mai.� Jounouchi said, tears threatening to show in his eyes.
Mai snapped, �That creep! It wasn't consensual was it?�
�No it wasn't and the creep wasn't using protection.�
�That sick creep! Has Anzu been tested?�
�For any of the sexual transmitted diseases that are out there, yeah she been tested. We won�t know anything till the tests come back.�
�Jounouchi, do they have a clue where this asshole going to strike next?�
�Not a clue, Mai. Not a fucking clue.�
�How is she coping?�
�From what we can tell she�s okay, but she might not be. She refused to wave goodbye to us at the hospital.�
�Go visit her, idiot and let her know you are there for her. I�ll do the same when I get back.�
�Okay, Mai and thanks,� Jounouchi said, as he hung up the phone and placed it in it�s holder on his waist.
�So what did she say, Jounouchi?� asked Honda.
�To be there for her, Honda, to be the friend that she is to us and to support her when she needs our support,� Jounouchi said.
�Let�s get her favorite dish and go visit her at home,� Honda said, as Ryou and Yugi agreed with him.
