Chapter Three: Friendship or Hatred.

Chapter Summary:

Yami and Seto got out to Yami’s work place when they get there things go normal until Yugi and the gang shows up. Yugi takes a like to Seto right away but what about the rest of his friends.

Blue eyes slowly opened as the sun show through his curtains in his room. Seto sat up slightly. He looked in his bed and noticed that Yami wasn’t there. Seto sighed to himself. He looked up when he bathroom door swing open and a shirtless Yami appeared. “Good afternoon Seto.” He said. Seto smiled to himself. “You should get ready I’ll be heading into town soon and I promised that I’d show around town.” Yami said. Seto stood up and walked into his bathroom to clean up. Yami slipped on a black T-shirt and his uniform shirt. He sighed. {white is not my color.} Seto had reemerged from the bathroom. His pants where different but he wasn’t wearing a shirt.
Seto goes to his dresser and takes out a white turtle neck shirt. He slips it on and then grabs his duel monster deck. “Well, we can get going.” Yami said. Seto nodded softly. Yami was standing in front of him when he looked back up. “You don’t have to be afraid. I’m going to be with you. No one is going to hurt you.” Yami said he placed his hands on Seto’s arms. Seto looked down at him. Yami grabbed his hand in his. “Y'Allah.” Yami said. Seto eyes widen slight he had understood what Yami had Seto to him. Which was odd he never heard that language before. “Something wrong?” Yami said. “What language was that?” Seto said staring into Crimson eyes. “Egyptian. It means Let‘s go.” Yami said.
Seto nodded his head as Yami opened the door for both of them to leave.
-Yugi’s House.-
Yugi hit Joey with a pillow. “What the…YUGI!” Joey yelled. “Well it was your idea to leave now everyone else is here and ready to go but you.” Yugi said laughing at his friend face expression. “Oh, I forgot.” Joey said. “Really you were up all night playing video games and eating but you forgot about today.” Yugi said laughing. “Shut it.” Joey said as he got up to get dressed. “I told you one minute his brilliant the next his an idiot. “ Tristan said. Yugi was laughing, Joey was fuming, and Téa was giggling. Joey was dressed and they where ready to go. ‘Finally I get to see Yami. He hasn’t spoken a word to us in almost a month.’ Téa thought. “Man, can we start to walk faster I’m hungry.” Joey said. They all sighed. “Well here it is Kamawanai Restaurant.” Yugi said. “let’s go in.” Joey said. They all entered to see no one there but someone sitting at a booth by himself. “Seto-Kun.” Yugi said. Seto turned in the direction that his name was called. “Kaiba, what’s he doing here.” Joey said. Tristan punched him in the arm. “Dumb ass we’re supposed to report on each other lives.” Tristan said. “Come on let’s sit with him.” Yugi said with a smile on his face.

“Do we have to.” Joey said. Yugi was already making his way over to Seto. “I guess we do.” Joey said. “Hey, Seto is Yami here some where.” Yugi said. Seto nodded his head. Joey and the rest come towards them. Yugi and the rest sat down. Seto had been sitting by the window and was staring outside. Yami had come back from the kitchen with a bowl. He froze on the spot. {Damn, I thought I could avoid them…} Yami sat the bowl down in front of Seto. Yami quickly yanked Yugi out of his chair. “What are you doing here?” Yami said. “Joey’s idea.” Yugi answered. “Yugi, I fine with the fact with you actually I’m glad, but your friends…” Yami trailed off. “They miss you.” Yugi said. “ I don’t want Joey around Seto he bullies him.” Yami said. “Joey probably just playing.” Yugi said. “Yeah sure. Yugi, Seto is not as normal as you think he is he’s quite afraid of the world. I’ll talk to your friends some but if the should harm Seto emotionally or physically I swear by the gods of Egypt that I’ll send each and everyone of them to the shadow realm.” Yami said and walked away. Yugi’s eyes widen slightly. [I’ve-I’ve never heard him speak that way before. He’s never threat someone. What could Seto-kun mean to him.]
Yugi walked back into the dinning area and Joey moved out the way so he could sit next to Seto. Yugi looked up at him as Seto kept watch out side. “So Kaiba what do you do for fun.” Téa said. Seto didn’t replied he continued to stare out side. “Kaiba?” Téa said again to get his attention. Joey yanked the front of Seto shirt slightly pulling him across the table. “You here her talking to you.” Joey said. “Joey let go he’s not doing anything.” Yugi said. “Yugi he’s not even listing when someone is talking to him.” Joey said. “You heard him let him go, Joey.” Yami said standing behind Joey. Everyone looked up at him. Joey let go seeing as Yami had a cold and dark glare on him. “Seto’s not a talkative person. So, he doesn’t have to answer your questions.” Yami said before he turned on his heels. “Man, I’ve never seen him so angry before.” Tristan said. “I told you to let go.” Yugi said. “Did I know Yami would get so mad?” Joey said. “Alright everyone clam down.” Téa said.

“Seto-kun I wanted to know if you could tell me how you beat me and Joey so quickly the other day.” Yugi said. “I-I have eight different decks it depends on the mood I’m in before I duel to play my deck.” Seto said. “really.” Yugi said. Seto nodded his head. ‘I don’t believe this Yami meets the guy for one day now there the best friends in the world. Yugi talks to him for five mitues and his thinks Kaiba is his hero.’ Joey thought. “Can I see one of your decks?” Yugi said. Seto went in his pocket and handed it to him. Yugi scanned through the cards. He stop when he found one he never seen before. “Umm…Seto-kun what is this card.” Yugi said. Seto looked at the card Yugi was holding. It was his favorite the one he had found when he was child. No one other then himself had ever touched on seen the card. He had found it in a pack of cards that his Mother and Father gave to him for his five birthday. It was the last time he saw both his parents together. “Black Luster Solider- envoy of the beginning.” Seto whispered. “I’ve never heard of this card before it has two effects and it 3,000 attack point this card is one of the strongest cards I’ve ever seen.” Yugi said. Joey took it Yugi’s hand and Seto quickly took it back and gave it to Yugi. “What the hell did you do that for.” Joey said. “My Mother gave me that card before she died and I don’t trust it out of my sight.” Seto said sadly. Yami was wiping off table and severing food but he keep a close watch on Seto and over heard everything he was saying.
“No wonder it’s so special.” Yugi said. “Fine I won’t touch the card.” Joey said. [Why does Seto trust me too.] Yugi handed Seto his deck back. “Alright Kaiba I challenge you to a you to a duel.” Joey said. Yugi looked across the room to see Yami had went back into the kitchen. Yugi kicked Joey in the leg. “Are you crazy Yami’s already on your case.” Yugi said. “It’s okay Yugi I’ll except his challenge.” Seto said. “No, Seto-kun Joey is just trying to pick a fight with you.” Yugi said. Seto made so sort of a sound. “Alright it’s settled.” Joey said. “Man, we can’t take you anywhere.” Tristan said. “Here’s my deck rich boy.” Joey said. Seto gave Joey his deck. “Yugi could you hold this for me.” Seto said handing Yugi a card. “Seto, why would you give my your favorite card don’t you want to use it against Joey.” Yugi said. “No, He doesn’t fit in this deck I just carry him around for luck.” Seto said. Yami had come back out the kitchen with the others food. {Joey will be the first one in the shadow realm.} “Yami, staring at you Joey.” Tristan said.
Yami felt someone put a hand on his shoulder. “Why don’t you watch your friends duel. I know how much you love the game.” His boss said. “Thank you.” Yami said before he went over to his brother and Seto. “I have a brand new deck.” Joey said. “Hmm…” Seto replied. “Alright I’ll start.” Joey said. “I guess so.” Seto replied. “Wise guy. Alright I’ll summon Goblin Attack Force in attack mode and place one card face down.” Joey said. “Alright my move.” Seto said as he drew a card from his deck. Yami was standing behind Seto. “I’ll play the magic card pot of greed. This card allows me to drew two card from my deck. Next I’ll summon The Creator incarnate in defense mode. Finally I’ll place three cards face down.” Seto said. “Alright Attack my Goblin’s.” Joey said. “I’ll active my face down card Mirror Force.” Seto said. “I thought you’d play I’ll play Giant Trunade.” Joey said. [Maybe Joey could win.] Yugi looked up and noticed Yami standing behind Seto and him.
“Heh, nice but no dice, I’ll active this trap card Magic jammer. If I discard a card from my hand it stops your magic card.” Seto said. [This isn’t the same deck I went through this one has different cards.] “My goblins are destroyed. I‘ll end my turn.” Joey said. “Alright my move. Hmm…Alright time for my monster special ability. If I tribute him I can special summon The Creator.” Seto said. “I’ll play my face down magic card Scape goats.” Joey said. “Yeah, so I’ll have to play this magic card Token Thanksgiving. This card destroys all your token monster and increase my life points by 800 for each one.” Seto said. “That’s 3,200 more life points.” Yugi said.
“Now Creator attack Joey Directly.” Seto said. (YK: Joey’s Life Points: 1,700. Seto’s Life points: 7,200) “Man, Joey lost over half his points and Kaiba has 7,200 life points.” Tristan said. {That almost 5 times Joey’s life points.} “I’ll play one card face down and end my turn.” Seto said. “I’ll summon Mataza the Zapper in defense mode.” Joey said. “My move. Now time to active my monsters special ability.” Seto said. “What is it.” Joey said. “I get to select one monster from my graveyard and if I discard a card from my hand I can special summon it to the field. Since I have only one monster in my graveyard you can guess what it is. The Creator incarnate, I’ll place it in attack mode.” Seto said. “I don’t believe this I’m going to lose again.” Joey said. “Just to make sure I’ll play heavy storm this card destroy all magic and trap card on both side of the field. Now The Creator incarnate Attack Joey’s monster and The Creator attack Joey directly. I win.” Seto said. Joey sat there shocked. “Great duel Seto.” Yami said. Seto had just now noticed him.

Seto motioned for Yugi and Téa to stand up. They did and allowed him to walk out the restraint with Yami. Once out side Seto let out a held breath. “Are you alright?” Yami said. “I’m fine just not use to being around so many people.” Seto said. Yami looked at his watch. “We can go home I’m done working.” Yami said. “I’ll wait until you get you stuff out here.” Seto said. Yami nodded and went back in and quickly grabbed his stuff. “Seto-Kun?” Yugi said. “What is it Yugi?” Seto said. “You forgot this.” Yugi said handing Seto his card. “Thanks.” Seto said. Yami had come out after their conversation. “Ready to go.” Yami said. Seto nodded his head before slipping his card back into his deck.
-Kaiba Mansion.-
Yami opened the front door and entered followed by Seto. Yami looked at his watch. “5:30p. Not as late as I thought it would be.” Yami said. Yami looked up to see Seto making his way upstairs. Yami ran after him. “Seto why don’t you stay down here with me.” Yami said. “I’m only allowed in my room and at the dinning table.” Seto said and continued up stairs. Yami followed him with a slight frown. Seto had kicked off his shoes once he was in his room. He had laid down on his bed. “Your mother passed away when you where a child?” Yami said. Seto nodded his head he was looking at Yami as he sat on the edge of his bed. “She left you and your brother with him?” Yami said. “He’s not my real father he died two years after my mother when I was seven.” Seto said. {Gozaburo not his father.}
Yami laid down next to him. He heard Seto yawn. “Sleepy?” Yami said. Seto nodded his head. Yami sat up and discard his work shirt leaving him in a black t-shirt. “Rest now, you don’t have to worry about him.” Yami said. Seto sighed as he turned to rest his head on Yami’s chest. “I’m always worried about him. Nothing going to change that.” Seto said. “What if I said “I love you.” Yami said. Seto didn’t responded. “Seto?” Yami said. Yami then heard Seto’s steady breathing. {Guess it worked.} Yami stroked the back of Seto’s back softly. {I need to find a game so I can kill Gozaburo in. Maybe a card game would work…hmm…Yeah that’s the best I can come up with for now maybe…A shadow duel level five or higher.} Yami eyes closed before he two fell asleep.
Yami felt Seto stir and sat up quickly. He flipped on the light switch. “Seto, what is it?” Yami said looking into Seto eyes and noticing the fear. “A Nightmare…” Seto said. Yami looked at the clock. {2:30a.} He wrapped his arms around Seto tumbling form. “It will be better in the morning trust me.” Yami said. Seto relax into him. “Come let’s go back to sleep.” Yami said. “I’m afraid to.” Seto said. “I’m right here I’ll be here when you wake just relax and trust me. I love you and I won’t let him hurt you anymore.” Yami said running his finger through Seto’s hair. Seto settled down again Yami’s words had relaxed him. He sighed before he shut his eyes. Yami clicked off the light again. Yami laid in the dark quietly as he waited for Seto to fall asleep. He sighed to himself. He pulled Seto closer to him. {Why won’t he understand that I love him. That I’ll protect him. Had Gozaburo real drilled all these thinks that No one will ever love him and that he worthless.} Yami eyes drifted close.
An annoying sound was in Yami ear before he sat up. “Gods, what is that?” Yami looked around the room to find it to be Seto’s alarm clock. “It’s the alarm.” Seto said and turned it off. Yami rubbed his eyes sleepily and laid back down. Pulling the back over his head. Seto had sat up on the edge of the bed and noticed his clothes from yesterday were still on. He stood to take a shower. Yami sighed from under the blanket before turn over so he was on his back staring out the balcony window. His red eyes scanned out side before he sat up. {I still need to find a game to beat Gozaburo in.} Yami sighed to himself.
“Yes, I forgot about Joey he really is getting on my nerves.” Yami said to himself and looked up when he heard the bathroom door open. Seto walked out fully clothed. “Seto-Chan I didn’t ask you what you though of my brother and his friends?” Yami said. “Hm…” Seto said. “You can be honest. Start with Yugi and then work your way down.” Yami said. “Your brother is nice. Kind of reminds me of Mokuba. Tristan I think his name was didn’t really talk to me. Téa nice I guess. (YK: No, Seto your supposed to hate her like everyone else. I’m joking. ^.^) “What about Joey?” Yami said. Seto shook his head. “He doesn’t like me because you attention is in me.” Seto said softly. “My attention as you put it will always be in you. I just need to make the others realize that.” Yami said. He had moved on the other side of bed closer to Seto.
“I think I’m beginning to understand what you are to me.” Seto said as he rested his head in the crook of Yami’s neck.

Yami smiled slightly. “I’m glad maybe your understand more sooner or later.” Yami said. Seto nodded softly. “Maybe today we can visit my mother.” Yami said. “It’s okay with me.” Seto said. “Well I going to need to shower and to do that I need you to rest on your bed for awhile. Or, Seto you could always shower with me.” Yami said and the he felt Seto push him onto the bed. “hentai” Seto said despite his face a bright red. “ah, yes quite actual but for you love I’ll stay behaved.” Yami said as he stood and walked into the bathroom. Seto sighed and laid his head against a pillow it was still early.

YK: Alright Chapter three. Seto is starting to understand Yami’s love for him kind of nice. Next Chapter Seto gets to meet Yami’s Family. Anyway Two Reviews gets a new chapter. I Haven’t updated like I said because my Father and my uncles where re wiring my house for a few days. I’m glad my computers back.
