[speech] = American Sign Language
“italics” = Speech and signY is for YoungShe sighed when she spotted him.He's done it again, she thought.Miss Embers put down her marker and waved her hand to get the student's attention. The tall brunette released a barely audible sigh before placing his things down at his desk. He walked over to her desk where he stopped with a bored look on his face. She brought her hands up and started moving them into precise gestures.[Where are your CIs?]This time, he let out a clearly annoyed sigh. He brought his hands up and signed back to her.[I don't want to wear them.]Well, at least he was being honest with her. This was the seventh time in three months. When he had first started doing it, the young man had told her his father had told him he didn't have to wear his cochlears. Considering who his father was, Miss Embers had known that was a bold faced lie.[Elijah.]Miss Embers curled her thumb across her palm with her other four fingers curled down on top of it. She tapped this E handshape to the side of her head. Elijah rolled his eyes but kept his attention on her.[You know you need to wear your CIs. Your father will be upset if I have to send another note home about this.]Miss Embers knew Elijah had finally hit THAT point when he signed he didn't care. He turned his attention away from her, in favor of going to sit at his desk. Miss Embers sighed. In all her years of having deaf and hard of hearing students in her gifted class, she had never had a student refuse to wear his equipment. Without his cochlear implants, Elijah was completely deaf. She thought of calling the office to send out for an interpreter when she heard a knock at the door.Miss Embers waved her hands up in the air, gaining everyone's attention. When she spoke to the class, she spoke out loud while signing."Class, get out your books and open to page 22. Start exercises one through ten. Be ready to discuss them," Miss Embers instructed them.The gifted group of fifth and sixth graders started pulling out their books as Miss Embers stepped outside. She was surprised to find the principal standing there. Beside him was a smiling woman and a student. The student had long, dirty blonde hair that fell partially into his face. He had bright hazel-colored eyes that showed a small spark of mischief in them."Miss Embers, I want to introduce you to your new student and his interpreter. This is Tucker and Mrs. Blake."Miss Embers face lit up when the woman turned and began signing to the student. It had been quite some time since she had had two deaf students in class together. Perhaps this was the type of thing Elijah needed. Tucker began signing to the interpreter while the principal spoke to her privately."Tucker is in fifth grade and he's coming to us from Pine Hills. He wears hearing aids and the hearing itinerant teacher will be in once a week to see him. He's a straight A student."Miss Embers barely contained the surprise on her face. Pine Hills Elementary was one of the highest rated schools in the district. They had a small number of exceptional students at their school, but they took very good care of those students."Sir, why the transfer? Did his family move?" She asked.The principal shook his head."Extenuating circumstances. Let's just say that the father was far from impressed with the school and he's currently in the middle of a lawsuit. I assured him we will give his son the education he deserves," the principal told her.The principal said a few more words to her before excusing himself. Miss Embers smiled as she held her hand out and shook hands with the youth. When their hands let go, Miss Embers signed to him.[It's nice to meet you, Tucker.]Tucker's face broke out in a big grin while the interpreter smiled. Tucker brought his hands up and surprised the teacher by speaking when he signed."It's nice to meet you, too. My name is Tucker. My name sign is..."Tucker hooked his thumb in between his pointer and middle fingers. He brought it across his body to his opposite arm. He pressed it to his upper arm and brought it down in a circular motion to rest just above his elbow. Miss Embers wondered if the reference was to the sign for energy and if he had a lot of it.I think Tucker is just what Elijah needs, Miss Embers thought.Miss Embers showed him her name sign (a simple tap of the e handshape to her chest over her heart). She discovered that behind his long strands of hair Tucker was concealing two hearing aids. She brought the two newcomers into the classroom. Everyone immediately fell silent and all attention fell on Miss Embers. As she spoke, the interpreter stepped up and signed."Class, we have a new student with us. This is Tucker and his interpreter, Mrs. Blake. I hope you will all make him feel welcome. Tucker, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?"Miss Embers noticed Elijah zeroed in on Tucker almost immediately once he realized the youth was deaf too. She briefly wondered if Elijah's father had ever exposed his son to other deaf children.Not likely, she thought.Tucker smiled and spoke with a strong confidence while using wide and excited signs."Hi! I'm Tucker. I prefer to be called Tuck. I've been deaf since forever. I use sign language and my hearing aids to help me communicate. I love math and solving puzzles. And I love Duel Monsters! My favorite is the Blue Eyes White Dragon."Several students were smiling and nodding. This is just one of the many reasons Miss Embers loved teaching this particular group. They were very accepting of students different from them. Miss Embers told Tucker he could sit in the empty seat in the front beside Elijah.Miss Embers noted that when Tucker walked over to sit down, Elijah's CIs had made a mysterious appearance. Tucker sat down and, having noticed the cochlears, immediately started signing to Elijah. She smiled at the small smile on the older boy's face as he signed back.Yes. This is exactly what Elijah Kaiba needed./....../
It was a little before lunch time when the hearing itinerant teacher showed up. The students were working in pairs on a reading assignment. Elijah was explaining something to Tucker when a hand came down gently on Tucker's shoulder. Both boys turned their heads to see s new woman. She greeted the boys in sign.
[Good morning, Elijah. Tucker. Elijah, I'm happy to see you have your CIs on today. Tucker, I brought your equipment. I'm going to have a quick chat with your teacher about it. Then I'm going to pull you out for a few minutes.]Tucker noticed his new friend turn his head away when the teacher mentioned his CIs. Tucker signed okay to the teacher. After she stepped away, Tucker waved his hand in front of him until Elijah finally looked at him.[What did she mean?] Tucker asked.Elijah sighed before confessing to the younger student.[The last few months...I haven't been good about wearing my CIs. You see, my mom taught me sign a long time ago. It was my dad that insisted I get the CIs before I was a year old. I prefer to sign and speak, but don't like wearing these. Dad hates it when I don't wear them.] Elijah replied.Tucker frowned and asked Elijah what his mom said about it. Tucker was shocked when the brunette informed him that his mother had passed away a little over a year ago. Before speaking again, Tucker thought carefully about what he was going to say. He didn't want to chase away his first new friend.[I know nothing can bring your mother back, but I'm sure she would want you to do what makes you happy. And I bet she would want you to do whatever you could to get the best education.] Tucker said.Elijah bit his bottom lip. Tucker was right. His mom had valued his education, heavily involving herself in volunteering on a nearly daily basis. Until she had become sick. He knew deep down she would be disappointed in him for giving his father so much trouble and not wearing his CIs.Elijah smiled before sticking his tongue out at Tucker with a wink.[Anyone tell you how smart you are?] Elijah asked.Tucker returned the smile.[My dad. Every day.] Tucker answered.Elijah chuckled.[He sounds like a smart man.]Tucker raised his fist and moved it up and down like a head nodding.[He is. Do you want to meet him? He works at the diner across from school. I'm going there after school.] Tucker said.[Sure.]/....../
The diner was old, but nice. It had the old time feel to it with its retro colors and checkered seats. As it was mid-afternoon, there was only a lone man sitting at the counter sipping a hot coffee. Elijah stood back and watched as Tucker was snatched up by a man. The man, who Elijah assumed was Tucker's father, stood as tall as his own father. He had bright blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes.
He was surprised when the man started talking and signing just as excitedly as his son."How's my best buddy in the whole world? Have a good first day at school? Anyone I need to beat up?" the man asked.Tucker laughed while shaking his head."No, dad. My teacher is awesome! She signs! Her grandparents are deaf and she learned sign to communicate with them. And my interpreter is amazing! She lets me speak for myself," Tucker explained.Joey smiled. His gaze shifted to the doorway. He had noticed the two youths walk out of school and cross the street together. Upon getting closer to the diner, Joey had noticed the CIs. He also noticed that, aside from the bright green eyes, the youth resembled a very familiar face from his past."Are you going to introduce me to your friend?"Tucker suddenly stopped talking about his day and flushed in embarrassment. He had completely forgotten the poor brunette standing in the doorway. He quickly turned around and crossed the diner to Elijah's side. He grabbed the taller youth by the arm and pulled him along until they stopped in front of Joey."Dad, this is my new friend. This is Elijah but he lets me call him Eli. He's deaf like me! See, CIs," Tucker said, pulling gently on Elijah so he would lower his head and Tucker could point out the devices."I can see that, Tuck. Hello, Elijah. I'm Tucker's father. You can call me Joey."Bright green eyes stared at him in surprise, but the youth didn't protest to the request. He brought his hand up and firmly shook Joey's hand."I'm Elijah Kaiba. It's nice to meet you."Elijah was beyond shocked when Joey only smiled when he gave his full name. Usually when he said his surname, people started to treat him differently. If Joey knew the Kaiba name, he showed no signs of it. Instead, he asked the boys if they had a lot of homework. Both boys gave a great groan. Joey chuckled."That's what I thought. Well, you two make yourself comfortable and I'll bring you out some drinks. Chocolate shakes, okay?"Tucker nodded, but Elijah shook his head. When he explained that he was allergic to chocolate, Elijah swore both Tucker and his father's eyes dropped out of their sockets.[Dude, that's not right!!] Ticker exclaimed.About a half hour later, after the boys were settled in a booth and were tackling math equations, a familiar face came through the door. Roland had been surprised when he had waited and waited outside the school, but the young Kaiba had never appeared. He knew traffic made him a little late, but Elijah should have been outside. A kind teacher had informed him she had seen him go into the diner across the way. He was pleasantly surprised to find the young brunette sitting and laughing in a booth with another teen. A teen he didn’t recognize."Hey, Roland. I guess Kaiba sent you to get Elijah."Joey smiled nervously when the security looked him over carefully. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Roland's eyebrows shot up."Mr…Wheeler?"Joey smiled."Yup, that's me. Seems my son made friends with Elijah today. I just moved Tucker to Heritage Point," Joey explained.Glancing at the strange youth, Roland could see a great family resemblance between the two. He hated to break the two youths apart, but he needed to get the young master home. Joey beat him to it when he signaled to the boys. Whatever he signed to the boys caused both to look sad as Elijah slowly started packing his bag."Listen."Roland turned back to Joey. The blonde man looked a bit nervous."Could you not tell Kaiba I'm Tucker's dad? Tucker doesn't have much friends and it's obvious that they like being friends."Yes. Roland could see that clearly as he watched the boys trade cell phones and input each other's information. If Mr. Kaiba asked, Roland would vouch for the other youth's father but would keep his identity a secret./....../
Tucker was an enigma. But it was his father that puzzled the great mind of Elijah Kaiba. Elijah's father didn't even have to say a word and the world fell over itself to give his son everything he needed. Tucker's father was a different story.
Tucker had explained that he lived with only his father in a small apartment in the ugly part of town. His father worked three jobs AND was taking a class online. During the school week while his son was in school, Joey worked at the diner. During breaks, he had lunch standing up and worked on his class work. After Tucker came over from school, Joey worked his last hour before going to his evening job.In the evening, Joey worked as a cabbie for a respectable company. Tucker rode in the taxi with him until Joey got off shift at around midnight. Despite the late hour, Joey made sure his son had dinner and got some rest in the car. After dropping his taxi off, Joey and Tucker rode a few minutes on a bus to their apartment. Tucker got a few more hours of sleep until his dad woke him up to feed him and get him off to school.On the weekends, Joey worked off and on assisting at an animal shelter. On those days, Tucker came down and helped walk the dogs and socialize with the animals. But all this was only the tip of the iceberg. Tucker had openly explained to him during lunch why he had moved schools.Pine Hills was much closer to their old apartment. Re-zoning had moved Tucker from his old school to Pine Hills. Despite his great record from his previous school, the school had been horrible to Tucker. They had treated him like he was a nobody. He had been placed in a "special" class with problem children and he wasn't provided an interpreter. Joey had been at the school every day for three weeks arguing with the school administration about his son's educational needs and the legal education documentation he had that demanded the school provide him that support.The school had refused, even after Joey threatened to sue. Fed up with the treatment, Joey paid a hefty price to break their lease on their apartment and move them to an ugly part of town. At the same time, he met with the administration at Heritage Point and moved his son there.Amongst all this, Joey never left his son's side. He told him he wasn't dumb, that he was very smart and the school was full of morons. Elijah secretly wondered what his father would do if something like that were to happen to him. Would his father actually come to the school and speak up for him? Or would he send the team of lawyers and Roland?Elijah was broken out of his thoughts by the creaking of the front door, signaling the arrival of his father. Seto was barely in the door when the heavy weight of his twelve year old son plowed into him. He barely caught himself on the door. His other hand came up to pat his son gently on the back."What are you doing up late? You know it's past lights out," Seto told him.Elijah released him and stepped back. Despite his hands itching to sign, Elijah spoke only with his voice."I know. I wanted to stay up and say good night." Pause. "I'm sorry."Seto bit his bottom lip. He didn't mean to be so harsh with his son. Today's meeting hadn't gone well and Mokuba's project in the States was behind schedule. Seto smiled and patted his son on the shoulder."You don't need to apologize, Elijah. I only want to make sure you get enough rest for school. Now, tell me about your day. Roland mentioned something about a new friend."Elijah and Seto turned to walk across the entrance hall and up the stairs."His name is Tucker. He's deaf. He signs and has an interpreter. He doesn't have cochlear implants, but he does have hearing aids. He's in fifth grade so Miss Embers paired us up."It was common in Miss Embers' class for her to pair up fifth and sixth graders. It made the teams work well together."He's really cool. He likes math like me and he's a good speller. He likes drawing, too. His dad works at the diner across the street from school. He's really nice, too! Roland met him when he came to pick me up."Roland had mentioned that as well. He had assured the CEO that the father was an old acquaintance of his (Roland's) and that he could personally vouch for him. That was good enough to Seto. He trusted the man with his life and his son's life. However, Seto found it odd that the boy was starting at the new school so late."Why is he starting school so late?" Seto asked.Elijah frowned. He didn't know how much Tucker would want him to reveal. So he gave his father the basics."Tucker got moved to a new school and he wasn't happy there so his dad had him moved to Heritage Point," Elijah answered.Seto nodded his head. He could understand that, especially if Elijah's new friend had been at a low-rated school. Secretly, he was happy to hear his offspring tell him all about a friend. The last friend he had talked about had been three years ago; that friendship had ended when the boy made fun of his son's cochlear implants and Elijah buried the kid’s face in a toilet./....../
September passed quickly and October set in. On a cool Saturday morning, Roland dropped Elijah off at the animal shelter. Tucker was at the car door side before Elijah even had the door open.
"Hi, Mr. Roland! How are you today?" Tucker politely asked.Roland, with Elijah interpreting for him, said he was good. He reminded Elijah to call him later to pick him up. The two boys waved goodbye as Roland backed the SUV out and drove off. Today, both boys wore identical card lockets around their necks. Elijah pointed to Tucker's locket."What's that?" he inquired."My birthday gift from my dad. What's THAT?""MY birthday gift from MY dad."Both boys laughed. They had found out early on that they shared a birthday on October 4. They each opened their lockets to reveal rare dragon cards. Red Eyes Black Dragon for Tucker and Blue Eyes White Dragon for Elijah.[Wow! Blue Eyes? That's really cool, Eli.]Elijah surprised Tucker by offering to trade cards. Tucker knew Red Eyes was Eli's favorite and Blue Eyes was his, but he felt bad they would be trading their fathers' prized cards. Elijah assured him he would take the upmost care of the Red Eyes and that his father had two other Blue Eyes he kept under lock and key. It was only then that Tucker agreed to the trade.Unknown to them, Joey watched the exchange silently from a window. He had been a little apprehensive when he saw Elijah ask to trade. However, all the tension left when he saw how carefully Elijah maneuvered the Red Eyes into his locket. It was clear the boy would take care of his card, just as Tucker would take care of Kaiba's.Better hope Kaiba don't have a freaking heart attack over it, Joey thought with a chuckle.He watched Tucker lead Elijah up the walkway as he explained to the older youth what they were they going to be volunteering with for the day. Joey met them at the door and held out his hand. Both boys took their devices off and disconnected the batteries so they wouldn't run out. They placed the devices in Joey's hand who placed them in a special case in a locked drawer.[Towels are in the cabinet on the right, Tucker. Don't take out the dogs with the blue or yellow cards. Try not to make too big a mess and come get me if you need help lifting any of the dogs.]Tucker nodded his head and promised they would. The boys walked around the front counter in reception and through a windowless door. Joey told the receptionists where he would be before disappearing through another door. It was about an hour later when Joey decided to check on the boys.What he saw made him laugh and take out his camera to take a few secret photos. Both boys were standing over a large tub with a large, soaking wet Great Dane. The boys had soaked shirts, soap suds in their hair, and big grins on their faces. They were scrubbing soap into the dog's fur when the dog stood. Joey ducked out of the way just in time as the dog shook his body out. He slathered the boys in even more water and soap suds. They looked at each other and just laughed.Joey may never have gotten along with Kaiba but he got over that after they graduated and went their separate ways. Yugi would mention every once in a while on how Kaiba was doing, when they met for business. Joey adored Elijah. The boy was a great friend to his son; he understood the hardships of being deaf, he signed, and he helped Tucker with his homework. He could already see that the boys would be friends for life.It was a few days later that that friendship was tested. Joey got a call at the diner that he was needed at the school. The owner of the diner told him to go and that someone would cover his tables. He rushed over to the school, only to find his son nursing a black eye and bloody nose. Elijah, who was helping him stop the bleeding, was sitting beside him with several bruises and cuts of his own."What happened?" Joey asked as soon as the principal stepped into view."Thank you for coming, Mr. Wheeler. It seems the boys had a scuffle with a schoolyard bully. Unfortunately, as you know, school policy insists that all participants in a squirmish be suspended. You should know that Elijah and Tucker will only be suspended for a day and nothing will go on their record. The other boy is suspended for two weeks and a note will be in HIS file," the principal explained.Joey wasn't happy about the circumstances but he was happy the boys were okay. As he finished his conversation, Roland arrived on the scene. Elijah's face turned pale as he stood up with a bloody tissue in hand."Dad knows, doesn't he?"Roland nodded."Not the specifics. But he'll want to hear it from you," Roland told him.Unknown to Roland and the principal, Elijah signed a whole slew of curses. Tucker's jaw dropped open. Joey, on the other hand, grabbed the large, economy sized bottle of hand sanitizer nearby and dropped a huge glob of it in Elijah's hands. The brunette scrunched his face up in disgust, but made a big eww face when Joey took his hands and slapped them together. Elijah shot him a dirty look as he rubbed the sanitizer into his hands."You oughta be ashamed of yourself. Using language like that in front of me when you know good and well that I understand ya. Roland, you ever see him sign THAT, then you oughta know he's cursing."Roland was stunned. He didn't even know the young Kaiba knew any curse words, let alone how to say them without his knowledge. He needed to get a hold of a sign language dictionary and lookup certain words. The two boys parted ways, promising to see each other at school after tomorrow's suspension.Roland hustled Elijah into a black SUV while Joey escorted Tucker across the street to the diner. Upon explaining the situation to the owner, she graciously gave him the rest of the day off with pay. Joey also chose to call out for the night at his taxi job. Thankfully, the owner had overbooked workers that night and it was perfectly okay with him.Joey decided to take Tucker to the park. They hopped on a bus and rode in silence. When they got to the park, they walked on through until they reached a fountain at the center. They sat on a bench in perfect view of the fountain. Both son and father turned to face each other. A nearby clock chimed three.[What happened?]All playfulness was gone from Joey's face and Tucker knew to NOT tell the truth would spell trouble for him.[I didn't start it, but I finished it. This sixth grader - big, ugly kid - he tripped Eli in the cafeteria. I read his lips, didn't catch all of it. But he said mean things, nasty things. Eli tried to get up, but ugly kid kicked him. He was going to stomp on him, but I tackled him to the ground.]Joey watched his son's hands fly through the air. He had tackled the kid, who apparently was taller than Elijah, and smacked him in the head. The older kid got a lucky shot in on Tucker's eye and slammed his nose using a textbook before Elijah pulled Tucker away and the teachers yanked the ugly kid aside. Tucker explained that all the kids told the teachers what had happened; that Tucker had been defending Elijah.When he was done, Tucker sat quietly tracing his fingers over his card locket. He felt bad. His dad had told him repeatedly that violence was not the answer but if he had not have tackled the kid, Elijah could have seriously been injured. And by God, he would do it again. Tucker startled when his father's hand reached out to catch his own.Joey waited until Tucker looked up to speak.[I'm proud of you. I'm not happy that you put your hands on another kid, but you had a good reason. You protected your friend. And I can't be mad at you for that. Even if I was mad, know this. I will always love you, no matter what.]Tucker lurched forward and hugged his father. Joey returned the hug just as fierce. Spotting an ice cream cart close by, Joey pulled back and asked Tucker if he wanted any. Tucker nodded enthusiastically. Joey smiled and stood up to walk over. Tucker waited for him on the bench. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and he reached in to pull it out. He saw a text from Elijah.How upset is your dad? -ElijahTucker slid his phone out to reveal a keyboard underneath. His thumbs raced across the tiny keys before hitting the send button.He's a little sad I hit that kid. But he's proud I stuck up for you. How about your dad? -TuckerIt took less than a minute for a reply to come.Idk. He's in meetings all day. Roland said he'll tell dad about it later. Glad your dad is cool about it. I bet mine won't. -ElijahStay positive. -TuckerI am positive. I'm positively sure that my dad will blow the roof off the house when he hears about it. -ElijahLol You got nuthin to worry about. You didn't do anything except pull me away. Oh, and spit on the guy. -TuckerIf the teachers hadn't of come, I would have done worse. I'll text you later, Tuck. ttyl -Elijahttyl, man. -TuckerTucker put his phone away just as his dad arrived with the ice cream. Tucker was surprised his father hadn't bought ice cream for himself. He discovered why after he passed him his waffle cone.[The diner called. I need to go pick up something.] Joey explained.[But the bus won't let me on with the ice cream.] Tucker protested as he licked the vanilla ice cream.[I know. I'm going to go ahead to the diner. You eat your ice cream and don't rush. When you're done, clean up at the bathroom and hop on the bus. We'll meet back at the diner. Okay?]Tucker nodded in agreement. Joey reminded him what he had been telling him for several weeks now, for when he left his son alone. Tucker nodded again, understanding his father's wishes. He watched his father jog away to catch the bus. Tucker felt safe there at the park as he ate his ice cream.By the time he had demolished his cone, cleaned up and boarded the bus, it was nearly five. That wasn't too bad since his father had left a little after four. Tucker pulled out his phone to let his dad know he was on his way. He wasn't surprised when he didn't get a reply; his father probably put his phone on silent.However, when the bus turned the corner and came to a stop in front of the school, Tucker got the shock of a lifetime. The diner was surrounded by police cars and crime scene tape. Tucker jumped off the bus and ran across the road, narrowly missing getting clipped by a volkswagon."Dad!" Tucker shouted.He grabbed the tape and made to go under it, but a policeman caught him there. He pulled the boy back and told him he couldn't go inside."My dad's in there. Joey Wheeler. I'm his son!" Tucker exclaimed.He tried to watch the man's lips but all he could make out were the words hospital and accident. Fearing the worst, Tucker broke free and ran away. Running down the street and stopping at a corner, Tucker ripped his phone out of his pocket and quickly looked up a set of directions. Spotting the bus he needed to get on, Tucker dashed for it and just caught it./....../
Seto had been home for only a few minutes and already his mood had sunk faster than the Titanic. Elijah had met his father at the dinner table and explained what had happened at school. When he started reprimanding his son, Elijah had boldly taken his CIs off and refused to put them back on. So they ate their dinner in silence.
That silence was broken a few minutes later by the arrival of Roland. He tapped Elijah on the shoulder while speaking directly to Seto."Mr. Kaiba, Elijah's friend Tucker is here. He seems very upset."Roland had signed Tucker and here for Elijah. Both Kaiba's frowned in confusion. Seto was surprised when his son put his CIs back on and turned them on. Without asking for permission, he slid his chair back and dashed from the room. Seto pushed his chair back and stood."Is his father here with him? I wish to speak with him," Seto told Roland.The man shook his head."No, sir. He's here alone and his eyes are very red. I suspect he's been crying for quite some time."Seto immediately moved around Roland and strolled out into the entrance hall. He could just make out a shorter youth on the other side of his son. The other boy’s hands were flying through the air at a rapid pace. Seto approached the boys carefully and coming around his son’s side. The boy surprised him. If he didn’t know any better, he’d have sworn he was looking at a younger Joey Wheeler.When he came into view of the strange youth, Seto was almost bowled over. He stumbled slightly backwards, but caught himself. The boy had his arms tightly wound around his stomach and was holding on for dear life. He let out a big sniffle as he buried his face into Seto’s shirt. Seto awkwardly patted the young man on the back while glancing at his son with a questioning look.“Tucker said his dad had some type of accident at the diner. There was police and tape everywhere,” Elijah explained.Seto gently pulled the boy back and dropped down on a knee so he was eye level. He could clearly see the anguish in the poor boy’s eyes. He noted the fresh black eye on his face.“I’m going to make a few calls and find out what’s going on with your dad. What’s his name?”Seto swore it was no coincidence when both boys said Joey. Now he was more than positive that the youth before him was Wheeler’s offspring. Tucker surprised him by what he said next.“He…my dad….he said you’re a good man. And I know that without knowing you, sir. Elijah is the best friend I’ve ever had and you must be a great man to have raised him. My dad told me if I was in any trouble, to come here and that you would help me,” Tucker explained.Seto could easily see why Tucker Wheeler was in the gifted fifth and sixth grade class with his son. The young man was obviously wise beyond his years. Seto reached up to pat the boy gently on the cheek. He glanced up at Elijah.“Why don’t you take Tucker in the next room and get him something to eat?” Seto asked.Tucker was watching Elijah as he interpreted what his father said. Tucker opened his mouth to protest, but Seto’s hand on his shoulder stopped him.“It might take me a little while to find out about your dad. You should get some food in you.”Only after Seto said this and Elijah tugged on the younger boy’s arm did Tucker go with him. Seto stood up and pulled out his cell phone as Roland walked up to him.“Mr. Kaiba…about his father…”Seto stopped him by holding up his hand.“Captain? Yes, I need information on an accident at the diner across from Heritage Point. Name’s Wheeler.”Seto turned the phone away while holding it still up to his ear.“I’m glad you didn’t tell me, Roland. You’re not the only one who’s noticed the changes in Elijah since he met Tucker. And you didn’t lie to me. Wheeler is an old acquaintance. I’m just hoping Wheeler hasn’t gotten himself killed,” Seto said, lowering his voice towards the end.He turned his head when he heard the captain come back on the line. Roland waited patiently while Seto spoke on the phone. Soon the brunette hung up the phone.“Roland, bring the car around, please. We’re going to be taking a trip to Domino General.”“Of course, sir.”When Seto walked back into the dining room, Tucker was nibbling on some toast while Elijah was sitting quietly beside him. Both jumped up when Seto came into view. Elijah stood between the two so that when Seto spoke, Tucker could look at both of them.“I spoke with the police captain. Your father is hurt, but he’s going to be okay. They took him to Domino General. He couldn’t reach you, because his cell phone was broken. We’re going now to see him,” Seto explained.A little bit of Seto’s heart melted when Tucker stepped forward and wrapped his arms around him in a gentle hug. His own son stepped forward and wrapped his arms around both of them. Seto pulled his arms out so he could hug both boys. After he managed to get them to let go, Seto ushered them out the door and into the SUV. The boys rode in the center seats while Seto sat in front with Roland.As they drove to the hospital, Seto couldn’t get over the fact that the son of his former rival was best friends with his son. Or that Wheeler had taken such care with his son. Tucker’s father had been responsible for a lot of things as of late; baking his son a birthday cake with fresh strawberries, helping his son do research at the library for a project, making sure Elijah got home safely after the SUV broke down, convincing his son to carry his epi-pen with him etc.There’s no way Wheeler didn’t know Elijah is a Kaiba. He did lay off me in the last year of school. Perhaps the mutt can be taught new tricks, Seto thought.Seto thought over a lot of things on the way to the hospital, especially as his gaze fell on the boys in the rearview mirror. It didn’t take long until they reached the hospital. It was easy for Seto and the boys to locate the hospital room Joey was in. Tucker and Elijah walked right in whereas Seto stopped in the doorway.Joey looked a little thinner and his hair was longer than Seto remembered. He sat sideways on the middle of the bed and facing away from the doorway. The blonde had some bandaging around his ribs and Seto could see old scars and marks all over his back. Elijah stood at the end of the bed while Tucker had his father engulfed in a tight hug. He and Elijah noticed Joey grimace a little, but he held on just as tight in their hug.After Tucker let out a small, but very audible sniffle, Joey pulled him back. He reached up and tapped his son on the nose, causing him to wrinkle said nose. Seto was amazed when Joey started talking with both his voice and hands.“It’s going to take more than a mad dad to take me out. I’m not going anywhere, Tuck,” Joey told him.Tucker gave his father a weak smile as he nodded.“You’re going to give me gray hair if you keep ending up here,” Tucker told his father.Joey chuckled while shaking his head. He turned his head and greeted Elijah. The tall brunette timidly stepped forward. When he got close enough, Joey grabbed his arm and pulled him into a hug. The small but very noticeable smile on Elijah’s face didn’t escape Seto’s notice.“How ya doing, kid?” Joey asked.“I’m good. But how are you?” Elijah asked.Joey shrugged.“No worse than usual. It’s not the first time I’ve been shot at,” Joey answered.Both boys started asking what he meant, but Joey stopped them when he brought his hands up. Seto frowned when Joey turned his voice off and signed only.[You’re not here alone, are you, Eli?]Seto watched Elijah shake his head. He thought he saw his son glance at him while he signed back to Joey.[No. Roland is parking the car. Dad is standing at the door.]Joey bit his lip. He thought he saw a familiar reflection in the partially curtained window.[Dad know sign?]Elijah shook his head. Seto watched with interest as the three males exchanged a few words. Joey reached into his jeans pocket and pulled out a few dollar bills. He handed them to his son and signed some more.[You two go get drinks. Machine down the hall is broken. Cafeteria should still be open.]Seto moved partially to the side when Tucker and Elijah came by them. The CEO stood there while Joey sat there with his back to him. He thought for sure Wheeler couldn’t see him from where he stood, but Joey’s next words stopped that train of thought.“Ya planning to stand there in the doorway the whole night? Eli already told me you’re standing there,” Joey commented.Seto cracked a grin and let out a small chuckle as he came further into the room. He walked around the bed and sat down beside Joey after he scooted over a little. The two of them stared forward out the window where small drops of rain started hitting the window.“Eli?” Seto said, a question in his voice.Joey smiled.“Yea. Don’t get me wrong. Elijah is a nice name. Tucker started it and Eli told me I could call him that, too,” Joey replied.Seto interlocked his fingers and laid them in his lap.“Eli…his mother used to call him Eli,” Seto commented.Joey nodded.“Yea. Yea, he told me a couple of days after he and Tucker met. Tucker was in the bathroom when Eli told me. He asked me if it was okay that he let other people call him Eli. I told him that wasn’t a choice anyone could make except him.” Pause. “Then he asked me if it was okay that he still missed his mother.”Whatever had used to fuel his anger at the blonde wasn’t coming to the forefront. Actually, Seto found himself dealing out a Hell of a lot more patience than he did with his own brother.“What did you tell him?” Seto asked.Joey sighed.“I told him when a person we really care about dies, it feels like a piece of us dies with them. But that goes both ways. A piece of them stays behind with us. So I told him yes. It’s okay to mourn our loved ones who have passed on. And, actually, I promised the boys we’d go visit her gravesite this weekend. Told Eli we’d find the most beautiful flowers to put there,” Joey answered.Seto hated to admit it, but he had only visited his late wife’s grave twice since the funeral almost two years ago. To be honest, he had been afraid to visit her; too afraid that it would open up old wounds or upset Elijah.“She liked sunflowers and tiger lilies,” Seto told him.Joey smiled and made a mental note. He knew a good flower store near the diner that specialized in having those flowers on stock.“How about tomorrow?”Joey turned his head slightly in confusion. Seto, sensing the confusion, chuckled.“Both of them are suspended for tomorrow. You don’t look like you’ll be good for work tomorrow and I could do with a personal day. That’s if you can stand my presence,” Seto said, ending with a smirk.Joey snorted.“I ain’t shoved ya off the bed, have I?” Snort. “Besides, fatherhood really mellows a guy out. Especially when ya got a kid that already has enough troubles.”Seto knew that feeling. It was one his wife had understood. She had been so patient with teaching their son sign language, going to the doctor appointments, and advocating for him at school. Raising a deaf child was far from easy.“I’m happy they’re friends. It didn’t bother me one bit that Eli was your son. Tuck lost most of his pals when we got re-zoned and he got moved to Heritage Point.”Seto was surprised when Joey mumbled a string of curses. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure the boys weren’t back from wherever Joey had sent them. He got a bigger shock when Joey apologized and explained what had happened at Pine Hills. Seto saw red. How dare the school discriminate against a child in such a way?“You’re welcome to my team of lawyers. They’ll rip that school apart at its seams,” Seto told him.Joey chuckled.“Actually, that’s why I went back to the diner. My lawyer was there to meet me. The Judge got fed up with the school and he made his judgment early. The school’s gotta pay us a hefty sum of money. My lawyer wanted to tell me the good news in person and have me sign some papers.”“What happened at the diner?”Joey sighed yet again. But once he started, everything started coming out.Seto listened as Joey explained what had happened. He got the full story of what had happened with the boys at school. It turns out the “ugly kid” had told his father only about getting in a scuffle with Tucker; revealing to his dad where Joey worked. His father had waited out until Joey had arrived on scene to talk with his lawyer. The man had come in ready to lay into Joey, but Joey refused to fight. When the man didn’t get a fight, he pulled a gun out and turned it on the older man, the lawyer.“I jumped the guy and the gun went off in the ceiling. Bastard managed to push me off and hit muh ribs with the muzzle a few times.” Chuckle. “Then this little old mom that stands at like four-foot-nine stands up on a chair and whacks him on the back of the head with this big old purse. Dude dropped like a fucking stone.”Both fathers busted out laughing, unknowingly leaning against each other. When they finished calming down, they lifted their heads to look at each other as they noticed the closeness. Surprisingly, Seto was the first to speak.“I’m glad you’re okay, Wheeler.”“Me, too, Kaiba.”/……/
[Do you think your dad will still take us to see my mom this weekend?]
The cafeteria had been closed, but one of the nurses had directed them to a working vending machine. They were currently riding the elevator back up to the right floor.[Yea. Dad promised. And Dad always keeps his promise.] Tucker told him.The elevator dinged after it came to a smooth stop. The doors slid open and the boys stepped out. They walked down the hall towards Joey’s room.[You know what?] Elijah asked.[What?] Tucker asked.[I get the feeling our dads know each other.] Elijah said.Tucker scrunched up his face. [What makes you think that?]Elijah explained that it made a lot of sense. Joey hadn’t seemed surprised to see Elijah’s father; Joey hadn’t reacted to the Kaiba surname; and Joey had told Tucker to go to Elijah’s father if he were in any trouble. Tucker found himself agreeing with his best friend.[Maybe they were friends.] Elijah suggested, as they stopped in the doorway.Tucker turned his head and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. He signed to Elijah without moving his gaze.[Or maybe more than friends.]Elijah snapped his head up and his jaw dropped. It was a very shocking sight for both of them.Still sitting on the bed where they had left them, Seto and Joey were now facing each other. Except their eyes weren’t open and their mouths were…occupied. Elijah was mildly disturbed at the sight of his father kissing someone, especially since he knew that someone. However, Elijah carefully took in the bigger picture as he stared shamelessly.His father had an arm wrapped loosely around Joey’s waist, obviously being mindful of the bandages. His other hand gently held the side of Joey’s face as he kissed him. Joey was partially in his father’s lap with one hand on the arm around his waist and the other hand leaning on his father’s leg. It wasn’t a nauseating kiss like the ones in those animated fairytale movies, but it also wasn’t sloppy like those high school students he spotted on the way to school yesterday.He felt Tucker gently tap his arm so as not to startle him. He turned his head where his best friend silently signed to him.[You okay?] Tucker asked.Elijah thought about that question for a moment before slowly nodding his head.[My dad has been sad for a long time. Since my mom first got sick. If your dad is what makes him happy, then I’m happy for both of them. What about you?] Elijah said.Tucker smiled.[I have known for a few years my dad doesn’t like girls. We had a looooong talk about it when I asked him about my mom.] Pause. [Hey! Does this make us brothers?]Elijah let out a silent chuckle; he didn’t want to interrupt the kiss, after all.[Sure. We can be brothers. I’ll be Elijah Wheeler.]Tucker covered his mouth to conceal his own laugh. [And I’ll be Tucker Kaiba.]The two boys quietly left the room. Halfway down the hall, they ran into Mokuba.“Elijah, there you are! Roland said you and Seto were up here,” Mokuba said.“Uncle Mokuba, what are you doing here?” Elijah asked.“I’m here for a surprise visit. Imagine my surprise when I got home and the maid told me you guys were here. What are you doing here? Where’s your dad?” Mokuba asked.Both boys shared knowing grins before turning and pointing. Mokuba frowned and glanced at both of them.“What?” he asked.“It’s not nice to interrupt,” was all Tucker said.And Elijah only smiled at his uncle’s questioning look. The boys walked over to the nearby waiting area and sat down in some chairs. Mokuba quickly strolled down the hall and turned into the door where the boys had pointed him. He came to a screeching halt in the doorway where his jaw threatened to drop through the floor.He knew instantly who his older brother was kissing. It may have been a few years, but he could still recognize Joey Wheeler. He was confused about the bandages around Joey’s middle and the fact that his brother and him were locking lips. It made his left eye twitch.He tried to be discreet and loudly cleared his throat. Except that did absolutely nothing. Actually, he was quite sure he heard a moan, but he wasn’t going to find out which one of them it came from.“Sooo…this is what happens when I take a surprise visit home.” The two jerked apart. “I’m wondering who got the bigger surprise: you guys or me?”Joey let out a nervous chuckle.“I’m sure you took the cake there, kid,” Joey said.Mokuba shook his head as he walked into the room.“I’m not a kid anymore, Joey. And what happened to you?” Mokuba asked, coming around the bed to stand in front of the two.“Disgruntled father,” Joey replied.Mokuba’s gaze shifted to his brother before going back to Joey.“I don’t know, Joey. Seto’s tongue down your throat didn’t look like disgruntlement to me,” Mokuba stated, smirking.Seto’s cheeks tinted red in embarrassment. Joey nudged him playfully in the arm before grinning at Mokuba.“It wasn’t his tongue down my throat.”Now both Kaiba’s had red faces. Seto brought a hand up to his face, even as he wrapped an arm around Joey and pulled him close. Joey chuckled when Seto leaned his head against his. He gave him a small kiss on the cheek.“Life is not going to be boring with you and Tucker around, is it?” Seto asked.Joey returned the kiss, but partially on the side of Seto’s mouth.“If ya wanted boring, ya came to the wrong family,” Joey told him.Mokuba snickered, once again turning their attention to him.“So how did this happen? Is that your son with Elijah? Since when have they been friends?” Mokuba asked.“Since September when I had Tucker moved from Pine Hills.”With that, Joey started telling Mokuba everything he had missed out on. It was a few minutes later, where Joey was explaining about the fight from earlier, when they heard a shout out in the hallway.“D-DAD!”Seto and Joey looked over their shoulders, then back at each other.“Was that mine? Or yours?” Joey asked.They waited and listened. A few seconds later, another shout was heard.“You leave him alone, you foul bitch!”Seto immediately shot up to his feet.“That one was mine,” Seto growled.Seto helped Joey to his feet and the three man moved out into the hall. Tucker was shielded from view by Elijah who stood between the shorter youth and a short-haired woman. Seto and Mokuba noticed Joey’s good mood disappear instantly.“I told ya Elijah’s a smart kid,” Joey told Seto. “She is a bitch.”The woman turned around to reveal an older Teá Gardner. She glared at Joey.“I’d rather be a bitch than a mangy stray,” Teá snarled at him.The two Kaiba brothers wisely stayed back as this sounded like something personal between the two. They watched Joey look past Teá to Elijah who was signing. He looked very upset about something.[That bitch hit Tucker.]Joey’s gaze burned a hole into the short brunette.“You. HIT. My son.”Mokuba’s mouth fell open. The Teá he had known would never have struck a child or said such words. Teá sniffed and turned her head away.“It was an accident. I tried to grab his arm and he jerked away,” Teá told him.Joey knocked her shoulder as he shoved past her. Elijah stepped aside, revealing a very teary eyed Tucker. Wincing through the pain, Joey knelt down on a knee and turned Tucker’s face to the side. Teá stood with her arms crossed over her chest, glaring at the back of his head. Seto was secretly happy that Teá hadn’t noticed their presence yet. He noticed that Tucker’s lip, opposite side from his black eye, was split open.[Are you okay?] Joey asked.Tucker nodded.[Tear into her, dad.] Tucker answered.[I would be happy to. Take your ears off.]The other adults watched as Tucker helped Joey to stand before he pulled his hearing aids out, opened the battery doors, and stuck them in his pocket. When Joey turned around, his eyes were alight with rage.“I will slap you with a restraining order if you touch my son again,” Joey growled at her.Teá smirked.“I think you mean our son.”All Kaiba jaws dropped. This…this…wench…was Tucker’s mother. Seto was quite confused. He hadn’t felt a wedding ring or wedding ring imprint on Joey’s hand earlier.“You had my son for four months while I took you to court and you gave him the bare minimums. You didn’t even know he was deaf. That was just one of the reasons the Judge gave me full custody and you didn’t so much as get visitation rights. Or need I remind you about Tucker’s birth certificate.”Teá jerked her head away, refusing to look at Joey.“You’re talking nonsense. I didn’t do anything to his birth certificate,” Teá declared.Joey raised an eyebrow.“Oh, really? Well, I happened ta have some connections. Your lawyer kept dodging me and refusing to give me and muh lawyer a copy. I managed to get an original copy. I found out that T was originally an F.”Elijah’s hands flew to his mouth as he gasped. Tucker carefully slipped over beside him and diverted his attention away from the arguing adults. Mokuba looked at his brother in surprise. The surprise on his brother’s face told him he hadn’t known about this, either. Teá had named her son…Oh My God!Teá opened her mouth to defend herself but Joey beat her to it.“And don’t you try denying it, either. Muh lawyer and I both tracked down the nurse that took care of ya. She said you were coherent and awake when you told her the name to put down. Why do you think the Judge told yer lawyer to stuff it?” Joey asked.This time, when Teá opened her mouth to speak, Elijah stepped forward and cut in.“I was right before. You are a bitch.”Teá dropped her arms at her side and growled like a lioness about to pounce. Joey slid in between them before Teá took even one step towards him.“Don’t you dare touch him. You lay a finger on him and, female or not, I will make sure you don’t forget the mistake you made,” Joey warned her.Teá scoffed. “I’m not here for him or you. I’m here for Tucker. He should be with his mother.”Joey threw his head back and laughed.“HA! Guuurl, I may be blonde, but I ain’t stupid. My boss told me you come by the diner when I ain’t there and try to get information out of my co-workers. I bet ya went to the diner and someone told ya what happened. And don’t think that I don’t know you somehow heard about the settlement. You can have all the money in the world, but you can’t have my son.”Seto noticed people stopping and staring. He decided this needed to end now. He stepped around her, still out of her line of sight and motioned Tucker to him. The shorter youth immediately came to him. He stopped short in front of him and started to bring his arms up, but quickly lowered them. That made Seto smile and open his arms in invitation.Thankfully, the youth was a year younger and much shorter than Elijah. He picked the youth up easily and pulled him up into his arms. Tucker wrapped his arms and legs around him like a young child. Elijah was immediately at his side, leaning on his father for his own comfort. Seto leaned to the side and kissed his son on the top of his head, murmuring something softly to him. Elijah smiled in return. When Teá turned around, her view of him was mostly obscured by Tucker.“You think you can replace me, tramp,” Teá snarled.Seto snorted as he patted Tucker gently on the back. He could feel the boy starting to get heavier as he fell asleep. The poor boy had been through a lot today. Seto turned so he was partially shielding his own son. Teá’s eyes grew immensely when she saw just who it was she was being nasty to.“I already have replaced you, Gardner. And it didn’t take much,” Seto told her.“K-Kaiba? Mokuba?” Gasp. “What the Hell?!”Seto ignored her and shifted his gaze over to Joey.“It’s getting late. If we want to go tomorrow, we need to get them home to rest. And I’m quite sure your pup just fell asleep,” Seto said with a teasing smile.Joey shook his head with a chuckle. Something about Seto suddenly had his rage leaving like a breeze on a golf course.“ ‘s yer own fault fer pickin’ ‘em up,” Joey answered with a shrug.Joey crossed the short distance to loop his arms around Elijah’s shoulders who in turn hugged the blonde man gently. In the background, Mokuba barely suppressed a chuckle at the expression on Teá’s face which resembled a fish in desperate need of water. Seto chuckled as he shifted Tucker in his arms.“He’s still the right size for holding and it’s been a while since I’ve been able to hold Elijah like this.” Seto smiled. “It’s nice.”Joey gave a small laugh before leaning over Elijah to plant a soft kiss on his lover’s mouth. That kiss snapped Teá out of her thoughts.“How dare you?! I will see you yet in court. No judge would dare let two men raise a child,” Teá said, as a matter of fact.Elijah gently pushed his way from Joey and stepped away from the group to stand in front of her. He looked her over from head to toe before shooting her the customary Kaiba smirk.“I’m sure Joey’s lawyer was good and yours is probably…hmm…half-decent. But I bet you’ve never tangoed with our team of lawyers. I think Mr. Johnson will take great pleasure in destroying you in court, especially after I give witness testimony of you striking my brother. So you better think of just who you’re about to go up against before you make that call.”Teá gasped as she put two and two together.“You’re…Kaiba’s son!”Elijah winked. “Elijah Warren Kaiba. It is my upmost pleasure to say good-bye to you.”/……/
Joey was half-asleep when he felt the bed dip. He let out a contented sigh when two arms slipped carefully around him.
“Boys okay?” Joey mumbled, his face half planted in his pillow.A warm body pressed against his back and a small kiss was planted between his shoulder blades.“They’re fine. Elijah’s out cold on his bed and Tucker is curled up in the guest room next door. I left a note for him so he doesn’t panic in the morning,” Seto mumbled back,“What about Mokuba?”“Questioning my sanity. He’ll live.”Joey chuckled quietly while gently squeezing the arms around him. That action earned him another kiss higher up on his back. The new lovers had brought their family back to Kaiba Mansion after leaving a gaping Teá behind in the hall. Seto planned to bide his time on persuading Joey to move him and Tucker in; he had a feeling it wouldn’t take much persuasion.“You never told me how you and…” Seto started.“The friendship bitch procreated? That night’s still pretty fuzzy in my head. I know the gang was hanging out and I ‘member us playing Truth or Dare. The drinks were flowing pretty bad. Woke up next mornin’ with her draped ovah me.”Seto felt Joey’s entire body shake with a big shudder. He couldn’t blame the blonde. He pressed a few more kisses along Joey’s back, over the marks and scars that littered the skin. Joey shivered again, but Seto could tell it was from pleasure, not disgust. He lightly nibbled on a little bit of skin before sucking on it. Joey let out a small groan.“Ya plannin’ to take advantage of me?” Joey chuckled.Without opening his eyes, Joey felt Seto slide his head up so it rested on his shoulder. He whimpered as he felt a semi-hard member slide between his cheeks. He felt a tongue lick along the back of his ear. After years of taking care of his son, it felt nice to be taken care of.“Is it still called that if you let me take advantage?” Seto asked, making this point with a small thrust of his hips.Joey groaned when the wet member slid over his entrance. With the boys sleeping in the backseat of the SUV, Joey and Seto had sat in the middle. They had aired out any and all concerns they had. Joey had been concerned they were moving too quickly; after all, they had their whole lives. When Seto had told him that those were the words his late wife said before she was diagnosed, Joey had understood. Seto had admitted that he was ready to move on now.Joey whimpered as Seto rubbed up against him a little longer. The brunette carefully rolled him onto his back and slid down his body. Joey closed his eyes as he felt hot air ghost over his weeping erection. He clutched at the sheets with another whimper when a tongue swiped over the slit.Seto smoothed gentle hands over the blonde’s thighs. He licked gently at the mushroom head. He could sense that it wouldn’t take much for the man to come undone. He cupped and rolled the heavy sacs in his hand as he held down his hip with the other.Joey rolled his head back and forth, mumbling incoherently. Seto lowered his head, wrapped his tips around the tip, and gave it a few gentle sucks. Joey jerked his hips and murmured his lover’s name before spilling down his throat. Seto carefully held and pumped the member as he swallowed down the blonde’s seed. When the poor blonde was all spent, Seto released the member.Seto licked his lips before sliding back up. He held himself up on his elbows to keep from applying pressure to Joey’s injured ribs. He wasn’t surprised when one of Joey’s hands slipped up to the back of his head and pulled him down for a kiss. The brunette lowered his head and opened his mouth to the blonde’s questing tongue. The older male let him lap up remaining traces in his mouth before pulling away.Joey laid back with a small yawn. Seto thought it was very endearing. He slipped a hand across the sheets to stroke his cheek. Joey smiled up at him sleepily. Seto closed his eyes with a small groan when Joey gave a weak thrust up. He nudged up against Seto’s throbbing length. He opened his eyes and smiled down at his new lover.“Go to sleep, Joey.” Smirk. “I’ll let you make it up to me tomorrow.”Joey emitted a small chuckle before yawning again. His eyelids were falling pretty fast. He had been riding a roller coaster high since that morning and he was finally coming down off that high. He fell asleep to a soft kiss on his forehead. Seto threaded his fingers through his lover’s hair before bending down to press another kiss to his forehead.He waited until Joey’s breathing evened out to press a small kiss on his lips. He carefully climbed off his lover and the bed. Seto winced as he walked with slightly sticky pants. Oh yes. He would definitely let the blond return the favor tomorrow.While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
