Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove

“At the new parking ramp going up next to the mall in 15 minutes? Alright, I’ll be there.”
            Bakura hung up the phone and headed out the door. It was a little past 8am, and the mall
didn’t open until 10. Atem had chosen the their meeting spot carefully, as he always did. Since it
was Sunday, nobody would be atop the unfinished parking ramp anyway. Bakura practically ran
the entire way to the 10-story tall parking ramp. He knew Atem would probably be angry with
him for his charade with Malik at the museum. Bakura also knew Atem had a temper, so he was
prepared for the repercussions. After walking up 10 flights of stairs, Bakura finally reached the
roof. Atem was sitting on a make shift bench made out of a 2x6 plank of wood laid across 2
cinder blocks waiting for him. He was wearing a simple pair of blue jeans, a white button up
dress-shirt, and a blue blazer that matched the color of his jeans. Bakura felt a little underdressed
in his white slacks and sleeveless light grey t-shirt. The wind on the 10^th level of the parking
ramp was extremely brisk, blowing it’s icy tendrils through their hair and in their faces, but even
so, Bakura could still see that Atem was not looking very pleased.
Atem stood up as Bakura approached. He folded his arms infront of himself and lowered his
eyes.
“You’re little stunt at the museum yesterday was completely uncalled for, Bakura.” Atem’s
voice was low and solemn.
Bakura could only smirk victoriously as he stood before Atem. His ploy for the Pharaoh’s
attention had proven successful.
“So did you sleep with him?” Atem continued, his crimson eyes burning with anger.
Bakura wrapped his arms around himself to provide him with some warmth. He sat on the make
shift bench and stared down at his boots.
“What do you think?” Bakura finally answered.
Atem made a sour face.
“I think it was all an act.”
Bakura chuckled evilly and smirked up at Atem.
Atem took a deep breath and growled.
“Bakura, are you intentionally trying to sabotage this relationship?”
Bakura stood up and looked down at Atem with a wicked scowl.
“Are you intentionally wasting my time?”
Atem glared at the thief.
“Bakura......you know I don’t want to break this off.”
Bakura glowered at the former Pharaoh, his right eye twitching slightly from anger.
“You know Atem, for a Pharaoh, you are dense as hell.”
Atem clenched his fists at his sides. “I know why you’re acting like this, Bakura, knock it off.”
Bakura shook his head and started to laugh as he walked over to the edge the completed section
of the ramp. He took a step out onto a steel girder and grinned back at Atem.
“You’re very perceptive, but are you willing to place your faith on a hunch?”
Bakura took a few more steps out onto the narrow girder, nothing but air underneath it.
Atem’s eyes grew wide. “What the hell are you doing, Bakura?”
Bakura walked out a few more paces than turned around and stopped. His insight told him Atem
would change the subject if he did something to shift the focus of their conversation. This was
working to his advantage perfectly.
Atem stared at Bakura half in shock, half in horror.
“Quit screwing around Bakura. What you are doing is not only dangerous, it’s completely
insane!”
Bakura laughed as he did a silly little dance on the metal girder. “You knew I was this way when
we first met all those thousands of years ago. I haven’t changed that much!”
Atem’s hand shook as he watched Bakura monkey around out on the girder. “Quit acting like a
dumb ass and get back over here, Bakura. We need to talk.”
Bakura wasn’t done toying with the Pharaoh. He was willing to resort to anything to keep Atem
distracted.
Bakura took a step toward Atem, but purposely lost his balance.......
“Oh shit” Bakura gulped as he began to fall.
Atem’s eyes shot open and he fell to his knees as the tomb robber disappeared from sight.
“Bakura! Noooo!!!!!” Atem shouted, his voice echoing through the empty parking ramp.
Atem couldn’t bare to look. The last thing he wanted to see was Bakura’s dead mangled carcass
splattered 10 floors beneath them. Not even he deserved to die in such a gruesome way.
“What have I done?” Atem sniffled remorsefully.
Bakura laughed as he swung around the girder and landed back on top.
“Did I scare you?” He asked evilly, his sienna eyes cold as ice. He sat down on the cold metal
and straddled the beam with his long legs, acting as if nothing had just happened.
Atem looked up in disbelief. “Bakura! You’re okay!” Atem ran to the edge of the girder and
held out his hand to the thief.
“Take my hand Bakura, please!”
Bakura rolled his eyes and kicked his legs back and forth dangerously as he dangled in mid-air.
Atem stretched his hand out further. “I mean it Bakura, take my hand! Now is not the time to be
playing games!”
Bakura crossed his arms and turned his head away.
Atem looked down at the vast distance between them and the pavement below. Death was
imminent if Bakura were to actually fall from such a height.
Atem swallowed hard and closed his eyes.
“Bakura...please....” He pleaded desperately with the thief, his voice only a shallow whisper.
Bakura turned his head to Atem and glared sharply.
“Please what? Get off this metal beam? For what? Why should I? Just so you can pretend to care
about me? Whatever. Just fuck off. I’d rather fall to my death than live in this world only to be
used again by you.”
Atem covered his forehead with his hand and shook his head.
“I care for you too much to lose you, Bakura.........I’ll do anything to stop you from ending your
existence.........please.....”
“Anything?” Bakura grinned victoriously.
Atem looked up, tears were beginning to pool in his eyes. “Yes, Bakura.....anything.....just name
it. I don’t want you to feel that I’m using you, because I’m not.”
Bakura crawled slowly across the girder and kneeled infront of Atem.
Atem threw his arms around the thief and embraced him tightly, pulling him away from the edge
of the building. Atem sighed a sigh of relief.
“Bakura.....damn it, don’t you EVER do that again! You hear me? EVER!”
Bakura slowly brought his arms up and wrapped them around Atem. He wasn’t going to promise
him jack-shit though! If Atem wanted this relationship to continue, he would have to do more
than make promises.
Bakura wiggled out of the Pharaoh’s arms. “Now, you were saying something before, something
about breaking things off?”
Atem shook his head. “Just forget it.”
Bakura gave Atem a quick peck on the cheek and got up. He stood at the edge of the ramp and
looked down.
“You’ll pay more attention to me from now on, correct?”
Atem bit his lip and nodded. “I’ll try my best.”
Bakura glanced back at Atem and lowered his eyes. “You’ll have to try harder than that, Atem.”
“Bakura....”
“Yes?” Bakura smirked as he turned around, making sure his heels of his boots were hanging
over the edge of the ramp. One quick move and it could all be over and done.
Atem held his breath.
“I’m waiting.....” Bakura chuckled provokingly.
Atem had to think quickly. The last thing he wanted was to say the wrong thing to the unstable
thief.
Atem grinned seductively as he reached for Bakura’s hand.
“Just come here, bitch.” He said firmly.
Bakura reached out to Atem, seeing the Pharaoh obviously had licentious intentions. Atem only
called him ‘bitch’ when he was looking for a little one-on-one action.
The former Pharaoh quickly pulled the thief over to him, capturing him in a tight embrace.
Bakura grinned evilly as he ran his hands down Atem’s back, stopping at Atem’s hips. Atem
buried his face in Bakura’s long hair, resting his cheek on the thief’s shoulder.
“Bakura....” he sighed softly as he clung to the thief.
Bakura moved one of his hands between their bodies and slipped his fingers down into Atem’s
blue jeans.
“Atem.....since we’re alone, would it be possible for us to have a little fun?”
Atem moaned softly as Bakura’s fingertips brushed over the head of his manhood.
“Sometimes I really think you are the devil.” Atem chuckled while leaning against his lover.
Bakura grinned as he leaned over and brought his lips to Atem’s.
“Take off your clothes.”
Bakura nipped playfully at Atem’s lower lip. Atem moaned again as the thief’s teeth grazed his
skin. He slowly released Bakura from his arms and started unbuttoning his shirt.
Bakura brought up his hands and ran his fingers down the Pharaoh’s chest, feeling the warmth of
his sculpted body.
“I love touching you.” He whispered into Atem’s ear.
Atem wrapped his arms around Bakura’s waist and placed a gentle kiss on the tomb-robber’s
collar bone.
“I’m sorry if I upset you earlier.....please scare me like that ever aga-”
Bakura covered Atem’s mouth with his own, cutting the Pharaoh off. He slipped his tongue past
Atem’s warm, moist lips.
“Touch me, Atem......please..” Bakura moaned softly in a raspy voice.
Atem willingly reached over and pulled Bakura’s zipper down. He slowly fell to his knees and
unfastened the button holding Bakura’s pants up with his teeth. Atem tugged the tomb-robber’s
pants over his hips and quickly took his length into his mouth. Bakura thrust his hips forward
into the Pharaoh’s warmth, moaning gutturally as Atem latched onto his shaft.
“Atem, that feels.....uhnnn.....so fucking good....I love when you suck it like that.”
Atem chuckled lightly as he dug his fingernails into Bakura’s hips.
Bakura sunk his fingers into Atem’s spiky soft tri-colored hair and groaned loudly as he
slammed his arousal down the Pharaoh’s throat. Atem willingly took Bakura’s forceful forward
thrusts, closing his eyes and moaning softly as Bakura’s manhood filled his mouth.
Bakura reached down and rolled one of Atem’s perky pink nipples between his thumb and index
finger, pinching hard as Atem’s tongue flicked vigorously over the head of his shaft.
“Fuck Pharaoh.....you could suck a golf ball through a garden hose with that hot mouth of
your’s.....fuck!” Bakura’s body shook as he grabbed Atem’s shoulders.
Atem’s saliva gathered at the base of Bakura’s shaft, wetting the Pharaoh’s fingers. He could
feel Bakura’s climax building. He enthusiastically continued his ministrations, paying
meticulous attention to the thief’s needs.
Bakura sunk his fingernails into Atem’s shoulders as he started moving his hips faster.
“Going to...uh...uh..uh...come......Atem!”
Atem gasp for air as Bakura climaxed into his throat. He quickly slipped his saliva covered
finger up into Bakura’s ass, just barely grazing the thief’s sweet spot.
Atem’s surprise intrusion sent Bakura into a state of complete euphoria. The thief lost his
balance and fell to his knees, using Atem to steady his fall.
After catching his breath, Bakura pulled Atem into a rough kiss, tasting his own essence of the
Pharaoh’s lips.
“Let’s go back to my place....”
Atem held his breath as he looked up into Bakura’s steamy brown lust-filled eyes.
“I would like to, but-”
“But nothing, Atem.....if you really want this to work out with us, you won’t resist my
invitation.”
Atem ran his fingers through his wind-blown hair and sighed. “Fine. Let’s go back to your
place....if anybody sees us though, we’ll have to just tell them we’re dueling.”
Bakura cracked a little grin. “Call it what you like.”
Atem and Bakura quickly pulled themselves together and headed back to Bakura’s apartment.

            Atem barely had time to blink before Bakura pulled him into the apartment and slammed
him violently against the wall. He squeezed the Pharaoh’s wrists so tightly that Atem’s fingers
started turning blue. Bakura forced his body against Atem’s so that the Pharaoh was unable to
break away.
“Now that I finally have you to myself, don’t be surprised if I never allow you to leave,
Pharaoh.” Bakura snarled possessively.
Atem was a bit surprised by Bakura’s actions, but never the less, very eager to get down to
business. His adrenaline was running hotter than hell, and Bakura grinding his hips against his
only heightened his senses.
Bakura looked into the Pharaoh’s eyes and grinned as he nipped lightly at Atem’s jaw.
“Did you ever foresee yourself fucking a rat like me, Pharaoh?
Atem tilted his head to the side and moaned, keeping his eyes focused on the thief.
“Not in a million years....” The Pharaoh replied.
Bakura captured the Pharaoh’s mouth in a searing hot kiss, sealing their faces together like
super-glue. Yami could feel Bakura’s angry passion flowing through their lips. Bakura barely
took a breath before jabbing his tongue into Atem’s mouth. Atem gulped for air. He tried to pull
away, but the more he struggled for air, the more forceful Bakura became. His head began to
whirl from lack of oxygen. Atem felt as though he was going pass out any second. His hands
were numb from Bakura’s tight grip around his wrists. He couldn’t fight, for the thief was by
far stronger than he was. Everything faded to black. Atem’s eyelids fluttered shut and he fell
limp and unconscious into Bakura’s arms.
            Hours later, when Atem finally regained consciousness, he found himself cold and alone.
At first he had no clue where he was, and his mind was foggy as to how he’d arrived in this
situation. He knew he was in a bed, completely stripped of his clothing. The drapes were pulled
shut, but he could tell night had fallen, for the room was dark. The bedroom door was open just a
crack, providing him with enough light to see his clothes folded into a neat pile at the foot of the
bed. Atem tried to sit up, but found that his wrists and ankles were secured in heavy iron
shackles attached to chains that were bolted to the bedframe.
“What on earth?” He said to himself as he tried to pull himself free. A strange ‘beeping’ noise
from beyond the bedroom door grabbed his attention. It sounded like......a microwave? Atem
looked over to his side and noticed a gold picture frame gleaming in the light. There were two
white-haired toddlers smiling back at him in the old and faded photograph. He knew from past
knowledge that Bakura’s host body had a younger sister, so after putting all the pieces together,
Atem concluded he was still at Bakura’s.
“BAKURA!” He shouted, knowing that the thief was in the next room.
Seconds later Bakura’s dark silhouette appeared in the doorway, blocking out most of the light.
“You rang, Pharaoh?” Bakura snickered as he entered the room.
Atem again yanked at his restraints, growling with frustration at his inability to break free.
“What is the meaning of this! Why have you chained me to your bed!” Atem snarled angrily.
Bakura stalked over to the side of the bed and stood overshadowing the former Pharaoh. Atem
swallowed hard when he caught sight of something long and silver in Bakura’s hand. Bakura
moved his hand slightly, letting the light reflect off the sharp metal object.
“I wasn’t just joking when I said I may never allow you to leave.” Bakura smirked as he stood
looking down at the former Pharaoh.
Atem could see in Bakura’s face that he was serious. Even though he was a liar and a thief,
Bakura always kept his word. Atem could only lay and wonder what the tomb-robber had in
store for him. The knife in Bakura’s hand was definitely a major concern.
“Hungry?” Bakura asked casually, like nothing was wrong.
Atem shook his head no. Food was the last thing on his mind! If he could use anything, it was a
blanket! The thief obviously had the heat turned way down. The air in the bedroom felt as cold
as a Siberian crypt against the Pharaoh’s lithe body.
Atem shook his head. “No, and I demand you release me this instant, Bakura! What in the name
of Ra has gotten into you?”
Bakura chuckled evilly as he set the razor sharp knife down on the nightstand. He leaned over
and placed a soft kiss on the Pharaoh’s lips. Atem kissed him back, in fear that Bakura would
put the shiny knife he’d laid on the nightstand to sadistic use if he didn’t.
“So many times I’ve said you’d be only mine, Atem....now it’s all come true.” Bakura whispered
as he pulled his lips away from Atem’s and stood up straight.
Atem just stared up at Bakura , his mind was running at a million miles per hour. He wanted to
scream for help, but he was positive that would only land him up shit-creek with a big shiny
knife impaled in his chest. He wanted to cry, but come on....Pharaoh’s don’t cry! Atem kept a
straight face as he looked up at the tomb-robber in wonder.
Bakura shrugged his shoulders and reached for the knife he’d set on the nightstand.
Atem buckled, fearing Bakura’s next move.
To his relief, Bakura turned and started walking for the door.
“I’ll be back after I finish making supper. If you’re still not hungry, it’s your loss.”
Atem simply nodded his head sharply as he watched the thief leave.
Once Bakura was gone, Atem closed his eyes and sighed.
‘What have I gotten myself into?’ He asked himself as he lay alone in the darkness.
Atem could hear Bakura clunking around in the kitchen. Whatever he was cooking, actually
smelled wonderful. Atem’s stomach grumbled from hunger. He could also hear the television
on. The evening news, filled with it’s usual depressing garble, only made the Pharaoh feel
worse. He knew he’d have to tell Yugi about his involvement with Bakura, considering they
shared a body. But how would he explain this to his hikari? How would Yugi take the news that
he was having a licentious affair with his former rival? Atem bit his lip and sighed as he tried to
think of a way to break the news to Yugi. This was not going to be easy.
