Summary: This is the Prequel to Senritsu. This story tells about how Yami and Seto got together and all the things that Yami had to face before Seto said “I Love you to him“. This also explain what happened to Gozaburo. ________________________________________________________________________

Chapter one: Yami’s True Feelings

YK: Well I decide to explain how Yami and Seto got together. I’ll also write a sequel to Called Senritsu this story will be based of Duelist kingdom with twist that I add in. Oh yeah Mr. Kazmutou is a Teacher I made up. Gozaburo is still alive in this story so all of those who hate him bear with me Yami is going to kill him later.

Yami’s P.O.V,
It’s been about a year since I got my own body. Things I’ve notice later are I can’t stand Yugi’s Friends. Maybe it’s just me but I think there a bunch of Idiots. I pretend to like for Yugi’s benefit but if I continue this way I swear on of them is going to the shadow realm. Some probably ask why well I’ll start with Joey wheeler. Joey is a compete moron and that’s putting it lightly. Then there is Tristan I have nothing against is that he two dumb for his own good he makes Joey look smart. Then there is Téa, which brings me to this topic. She’s in Love with me. Here three reason why I don’t like here. One I prefer guys and two you have to be crazy to like her. She tries to be Yugi’s friend to get to me. Three I’m in love with a boy in this class who sit right across from me his name is Seto.
He doesn’t talk much at all. He’s kind of shy I never tried talking to him but that because I can sense the despair reading off of him. Why do I like him and not Téa Yugi asked me a few times and I told him I wasn’t sure to this day I’m still not sure. But something drew me two him. Right now I’m the only one in class I always sneak off early so I can stay away from Yugi and friends. I wait for Mr. Kazmutou to enter the room he files in with the rest of the class. He’s always on hall patrol as I call it. Mainly go after Joey. Speaking of Joey…Seto should have made his way to class to avoid Joey.
I really need to get on Joey about that. I turn my head when the door opens. It’s Seto as I thought. He sighs slightly before he makes his way to his seat. My classmate won’t be in for another ten minutes. When he sits down I decide to speak. “Running from Joey.” I say he looks truly shocked and turns in my direction. I smile gentle and he just stares wide-eye as if I read his mind. He recovers and nodded softly. I quickly look over his still form and noticed a bandage wrapped around his finger and extending up his arm.
I hear loud talking and Joey and Tristan and Yugi and Téa enter. My crimson eyes follow them as they enter the room. “Hey Yam didn’t see you in that hallway at all.” I heard Joey say. Heh, where do think I was. Then I noticed that they come early to take the sits next to me. No I have to sit through hell on the last day of school. When my whole plan was to confess my feeling for Seto. *Sigh* life isn’t fair. “You look up set why Yami?” I heard Téa say. Why do you think I’m upset, you’re next to me? “I’m fine.” I reply. I turn my crimson gaze toward Seto. I can’t talk to him unless Mr. Kazmutou pairs us for his grand end of the year project.
That’s the only way I can be myself and speak my feeling with out Yugi obscuring my Judgment. Everyone else is filing in. “Alright, Alright settle down to day I have two thing I know your going to love. A small Duel monster tournament and your project partners” I heard Mr. Kazmutou say. My mind just realized he said my three favorite words Duel Monsters Tournament. “Alright I was thinking of a tag-team tournament. With the partner for the project.” He said. This would be great through Seto’s deck I could figure out his personality. Mr. Kazmutou is my favorite teacher of all time.
Normal P.O.V

“Alright I picked your Partners First Pair Yugi and Joey.” Mr. Kazmutou said. Joey stood up. “This is Great Yuge were on the same team.” Joey said. “You right Joey.” Yugi said laughing. Yami glanced at Seto. {My Plan could backfire if he doesn’t duel.} Yami turned his eyes toward Mr. Kazmutou. “Alright and our last pair are Seto and Yami. Now tell me who’s going to duel in this small tournament.” Mr. Kazmutou said. Only Yugi Joey and Yami raised their hand. “Alright I see only four so this is going to be a small tournament.” Mr. Kazmutou said with a laugh. Téa raised her hand.
“Yes?” Mr. Kazmutou said. “ I only see three maybe you miscounted. {She’s right Seto didn’t raise his hand.} “No Four… Yami, Joey, Yugi and Seto. He didn’t raise his hand but I know he duels.” Mr. Kazmutou said. The class all turned toward him. {Yep. Mr. Kazmutou is my favorite Teacher.) “Alright let get this one duel match started Yami and Seto vs. Yugi and Joey.” Kazmutou said
{Man he really Seto everything up.} I see Seto come to sit next to me. “We are going to need to play off each other skill.” Yami said to him. Seto nods slightly. “Alright Let’s Duel” Yugi said. “Let’s Do this.” Yami said. “I’ll start. I‘ll summon Panther Warrior in attack mode and place one card face down.” Joey said. “My move I’ll summon Watapan in defense mode and place two cards face down.” Yugi said. “My Move I’ll summon Skilled Dark Magician in defense mode and Place three cards face down.” Yami said.
{Now let’s see what’s in Seto’s deck.} “*Sigh* my move I’ll play pot of greed this magic card allows me to drew two card from my deck next I’ll summon Mystic Swordsman LV2 in defense mode and place four cards face down and end my turn. {Not much to go on but it’s a start he summoned a weak monster. Could he feel weak inside like Yugi did.} “Wow Kaiba you summoned such a strong monster on no I’m shaking.” Joey taunted. “Shut up Joey before I personally strangle you.” Yami said. Seto looked over at him. What was that all about. //you know no duel monster should be insulted. //
Sure or do you mean Seto. //Get out of my mind. // “I was only joking Yami clam down. Alright I’ll offer a monster to attack Kaiba monster with panther warrior.” Joey said. “Heh, do you fall for traps. I’ll active Mirror force and Dark Mirror force. Mirror force destroy your attack monster and Dark Mirror force destroys Yugi’s defending monster and remove it from the game.” Seto said. {I’ve never seen a move like that.} “Wow, Seto-kun your really good.” Yugi said. “Yo, Yuge he just took out your monster.” Joey said. “I know.” Yugi said. “Alright I’ll end my turn. I’ll summon a monster in defense mode.” Yugi said. “ My Move I’ll summon Breaker the Magical Warrior in attack mode.
Next I’ll play this Magic Card Magical Academy I have to discard two cards from my hand to play it. It allows me to special summon 1spell-caster- type monster from my hand. It also increase it’s attack by 500 and upgrade its’ star level by 2. Now the monster I choose is the Dark Magician now Dark magician attack Joey directly.” Yami said. “Hold on Yami I have a trap card.” Joey said but Seto cut him off. “Magical academy negate the effect of your magic and trap cards that treats his monster as a target.” Seto said. [Seto must study cards to know what that card does.] (YK: Yugi’s Life points 4,000 and Joey’s LP: 1500 Seto’s LP: 4000 Yami’s LP: 4000. I know they should be playing by Duelist Kingdom rules but those rules made no sense so they play by Battle city rules.)

“My Move…” Seto drew a card. (I want to end this quick.) “First I’ll active this trap card the first Sarcophagus, this card allows me to bring the Second and Third Sarcophagus to my hand, and I’ll play both of them now. Now when all three are play I offer them so I can special summon The Spirit of the Pharaoh to the field next I’ll play this Magic card Giant Trinade this card return all magic and trap card to their respective owner's hands. Now I’ll summon Spirit of the Pharaoh attack Joey’s life points directly and win this duel.” Seto said. {Man Joey and Yugi didn’t stand a chance Seto Plays like a pro. I’ve never seen any one use Magic and trap cards to win a duel.} Yami looked up and Seto was already at his seat.
“So Mr. Kazmutou was there a Prize.” Joey said. “Yeah the winners get to leave early. To start their Project right away.” Mr. Kazmutou said. Seto and Yami where quickly escorted out the door. Once in the hallway Seto shook his head with a smile. “That’s the first time I saw you smile.” Yami said. Seto looked down at him. He was shocked Yami know anything about him. “What did you find funny?” Yami asked.
“Nothing really.” Seto replied. “Oh…Well, so should we should decides who’s house we’re going to stay. I was kind of think at your house.” Yami said. Seto nodded. (It’s best at my house I need to stay for Mokuba.) “Lets go then.” Yami said.
-10:00a.
{If I know you house was this far I would have waited for Yugi to get out from school.} The both walked up the driveway. The maid had already open the door seeing the two boys in the driveway. “Seto-sama your home early.” She said. “Seto what are you doing home early.” Mokuba said. “Mr. Kazmutou.” Was all Seto said. “Who is he.” Mokuba said. “This is Yami we have a school project so he’ll be staying with us over the summer.” Seto said and started up toward his room. Not before Mokuba said “Gozaburo is in his study.” Yami watched as Seto froze on the spot. “Seto?” Yami whispered and watched the sapphire eyed boy continue. Yami continued following Seto until the reached a door where Seto opened it.
Yami looked inside the room there was barley anything in the excepted for: puzzle and games, a few models, a bed in a corner, and computer sitting on a desk. There was a set of doors one lead to the balcony and the other lead to a closet. Yami walked in after taking off his gym shoes. Yami glanced around the room. {Toys represent innocents. I couldn’t figure out anything from his deck we won to fast. Joey and Yugi had to be weak…*sigh* Maybe talking to him will do it.}
Seto sat down on his bed. Yami noticed that he looked tense more so then at school when they where dueling. “Seto, is there something wrong?” Yami said sitting next to him. Seto looked over at him. “Why do you?” Yami interrupted him. “ Now that I look into your eyes I see fear.” Yami said. Seto turned his head away from him. “Do you fear me?” Yami said. He was now kneeling in front of Seto. “Not you. it’s nothing.” Seto said with a sigh. {That’s good to know. But I can help but feel his soul screaming for help. Just tell me what it is Seto and I’ll protect you from it.}
Yami stood up. “Maybe you should go to sleep Seto you look tired.” Yami said. Seto looked up at him. “How did you know?” Seto said. “I can read your eyes. They show all you emotion.” Yami said. “I should stay up you don’t know your way around here.” Seto said in a sleepy voice. “I’ll stay in your room until you wake up I need to rebuilt my deck anyway.” Yami said. Seto nodded and moved up in his bed so he was laying on a pillow. His body relax for some reason to Yami’s words. Seto opened his eyes a little. “Why?” he whispered to himself. Seto closed his eyes. Yami smiled to himself.

Seto sat up quickly. Seto wiped the tears out of his eyes. He had another nightmare. His blanket fell into his lap. He didn’t remember pulling up his blanket over his body. He looked around the room to see Yami sitting in his desk chair sleeping. Yami had removed his school jacket and shirt. Seto sighed to himself he had forgot Yami was here. (I wonder was he the one to put my blanket on me.) Seto heard a yawn and turned in Yami direction. Yami was staring back at him with his crimson eyes. Seto and Yami’s eyes locked. Yami smiled at him and Seto turned away.
{I was right about the innocent thing his room really show how truly innocent he is. He body reaction on how things around him as well tell how innocent he is.} There was a knock at the door. “Seto it’s lunch time Gozaburo wants us down in tem minutes.” Mokuba said before left the down the stairs. Yami noticed Seto tense up slightly before he stood. “Seto does your father scare you.” Yami said. Seto stopped make his way toward the door. “Why-Why do you say that.” Seto stutter out. “Well, just now when I brought he up you started to tremble slightly.” Yami stood. He had slipped on another shirt.
“No he doesn’t.” Seto said trying to convince himself. “How about later we talk about this?” Yami said. Seto nodded his head slowly. Yami was standing face to face with Seto. He placed his head on Seto’s face. Seto blushed slightly then pulled away quickly. Yami caught his wrist before he opened the door. “Your still in your uniform.” Yami said Seto looked at him and then looked at himself. Yami was right he went straight to sleep before he changed. Seto walked back over to his dresser and took off his uniform jack and button down shirt. Yami watched him. Seto wore a t-shirt under his button down shirt. He changed into a black silk shirt with button. He button up everyone before they left.
Yami and Seto walked down the stairs quietly before they entered the dinning room. Seto sat closer to where Gozaburo was sitting. Yami sat next to him. Mokuba sat across from Seto. “So what is your name?” Gozaburo said. Yami was broke out of his thoughts. “Yami, Yami Mutou.” He said. “Darkness? What kid of name is that?” Gozaburo said. “Well, my Mother named me it so I’m stuck with it. Of course Seto’s name means turmoil and Mokuba‘s name means rocking hoarse ” Yami replied. “Smart I see.” Gozaburo said. “Well, I’m the second highest in my class right after Seto.” Yami said. “You say that as it’s a honor.” Gozaburo said. “Well, to me it is. I studied hard to get there so yes it is an honor.” Yami said.
{I don’t like this guy. I don‘t like how he watching Seto either. It‘s like he‘s watching to see if I‘m going to change his scrutiny on life.} Seto sighed and turned to look at Yami. Yami held his gaze before Seto turned away. {He meant something in that Gaze but what?} “So you think it’s an honor doing second best?” Gozaburo said his cold eye watching Yami. Yami smirked slightly. {Heh, I don’t back down.} “Depends on what you men by “second best.” Yami said he smirk more evident on his face. “I mean in second place.” Gozaburo said.
“Well then yes I do. Also I don’t really care what place I’m in class. I prefer…” Yami stop with a his of pain when Seto jabbed his fork into his side. Yami grabbed Seto’s arm and pulled him down so he could whisper into his ear “What the hell did you do that for?” Seto looked at him and said nothing before turning back to the table. Seto finished eating and left the table. Yami got up as well. “That boy is strange.” Gozaburo said. “Seto’s Teacher randomly picked students.” Mokuba said as he continued to eat. Yami had went back up to Seto’s room. Seto was sitting on his bed. Yami came in and sat next to him. “Why did you jab me with your fork I didn’t finish what I was saying.” Yami said turning Seto head to face him.
“That’s why.” Seto said looking back into Yami crimson eye. “What?” Yami said in surprise. “…” Seto replied. “Seto, Talk to me I’m trying to help you.” Yami said. Seto turned away. “Seto?” Yami said. Seto laid down on his bed his back to Yami. Yami got of the bed and walked so he was in front of Seto face while he was kneeling. “Seto” Yami said. Seto turned on his back. {Fine I can play to.} Yami climbed on top of Seto straddling his hips. Seto looked up at him in surprise. “Please, Seto tell me what’s wrong.” Yami said. Seto up Yami slid into his lap. Yami was face to face with Seto.
“What should I tell you.” Seto said. Yami gentle placed his lips on Seto and then quickly pulled away. “Anything you want to Seto-chan.

YK: All right that’s Chapter one. Next Chapter: Chapter Two: Yami’s and Seto’s Confession. All right for those of you who care about Challenge From the Past I’m writing it making the chapters longer and have more Yami/Seto sense. It was too much Dueling. Also for those of you who like the dueling I’m Changing Yami and Seto’s Decks. So this is what’s taking so long. All right two reviews get a new chapter.
