Yami woke up to the brightness of the sun gleaming in his eyes. He sat up and looked around the room noticing Zaire was no longer in his arms. He sighed as he ran his hands through his hair. He got up and prepared for the long day ahead of him. Once Yami was finished dressing, he made his way down stairs and started breakfast. He pulled out the eggs, milk, bacon, and a few vegetables he'd need to make his omelet. The phone rang and Yami picked it up as he continued to cook skillfully, "Hello?" "Hey, Yami, this is Miza." Said the voice on the other line. "Oh, hey, Miza." Yami stated as he turned off the fire and poured him some milk. "Hey, um, did Zaire come over there yesterday. She sort of just left without telling anyone." Miza stated in a worried tone. "Yeah." Yami stated as he sat down. "Really?" Miza asked sounding interested. "Nothing happened." Yami assured as he took a bite and opened his paper. "Too bad." She stated disappointedly, "Hey, you're still coming to the game with us, right, it'll mean the world to Mokuba.” Yami sighed, "I'll try. I have a lot of work to do today." "Yami don't try not to come because of Zaire, if anything it'd be good for you two. Just think of Mokuba, it's for Mokuba." Miza scolded. Yami laughed. Miza was always acting motherly, "Yes, ma'am." "I'm serious, Yami." "I know. Listen, you tell Mokuba he's at the top of my list, O.K.?" "He'd better be." Yami looked up as the bell rang, "Hey, I gotta go, Bakura is here." "K, see you later, bye." Miza stated as before the line went dead. "Bye." Yami stated as he clicked the `off' button on the phone. He placed his dishes in the sink and went over to the door to open it. "Hey, Yami, you're looking shitty today." Bakura `complimented' as the door was opened for him. Yami smirked, "Thanks, glad I have you to bring me up on my down days." He stated sarcastically, "Let me go get my jacket and I'll be ready." Yami said as he walked to the hall closet. "Take your time," Bakura commented as he looked around the house, "you know how I hate work." "Yeah. I do." Yami laughed. Bakura picked up a journal with the words `Cherub' written across it, "Zaire came here last night?" he asked recognizing the diary as hers. Yami went over to him and took the book, "Yeah, must have it left here." "On purpose." Bakura stated as he smirked slyly. Yami frowned at the look, "Why do you say that?" Bakura rolled his eyes, "Because, one: Zaire isn't that irresponsible and she loves her diary like a baby and two: she actually took the time to lock it back and take the key. Believe me, she meant to leave it here so she'd have a reason to come back. What did you two do last night anyway?" "Nothing." Yami stated growing irritated, "What don't you people get about us being broken up, no longer together, not happening, not doing anything with each other when we are alone together." "Well, did she ever technically say that you two were ‘broken up’?” Bakura stated in his offensive. "Well…no. But she hasn’t spoken to me in two days. And after what I did…I think it would just be best to assume that we are." Yami stated sadly, "And I'd appreciate it if you didn't keep reminding me." Bakura shrugged, "O.K, O.K, I'm sorry. Never again." Yami sighed, "Thank you. Let's go before we're late." Yami stated as he grabbed his keys and headed out the door. Bakura sighed and started out the door, but stopped when the diary caught his eye. He smirked mischievously and headed toward the book. "Leave it alone, Bakura!" Yami yelled from outside knowing his friend all to well.
Bakura snapped his fingers and stomped out the house closing the door behind him.

Miza ran over to Satire and Lavie with a smile on her face, "Yami's gonna come." She whispered to them. Lavie smiled, "Perfect." "What's perfect?" Zaire asked as she walked up behind the three. "Um… this dress." Satire stated as she took a random dress from the rack to cover up there conversation. Zaire frowned at the puke green dress with yellow suns covering the bottom and orange frills coming from the neck and sleeves, "Well, if you like it." She said smiling a forced smile at Satire. Zaire walked over to another rack to look at the clothing there. Her friends had called her during the morning and asked her if she'd like to go out shopping to get her mind off of everything. She agreed and they'd planned to spend all the money they could, courtesy of Seto. "You go." Miza said to Lavie. "No, it's not time." Lavie tried to explain to her, "We can't ask her yet; she'll think we just planned this whole thing for that purpose." "But we did plan this whole thing for that purpose." Satire reminded her. Lavie shot her a look, "Well she doesn't have to know it." "Hey, guys, what do you think I should where to Mokuba's game. Something comfy or eye catching?" Zaire asked to catch their attention. "Both." They all stated. Zaire placed her hands on her hips, "Well can you three stop quarrelling and help me?" Lavie looked at her in shock, "Us? Quarrel?" "Never." Miza stated in their defense. Satire grabbed the two in a hug, "We are always so peaceful with each other." They all gave looks of innocence and smiled at Zaire. She rolled her eyes and laughed, "Just help me find something that'll look good on me." "Cause she'll need all the help she can get." Said an unwelcomed voice from behind. All the girls turned to see whom the voice belonged too and all of them frowned, two growled. Lavie crossed her arms, "Well, well, well, if it isn't slut, bitch Anzu." "In the flesh." Anzu stated proudly. "What do you want?" Satire asked not really caring. Miza just glared cracking her knuckles ready to give Anzu the beat down of her life. Anzu flipped her short brown hair, "Just was shopping around when I heard a voice I didn't well like. Came over to see how the owner was doing without her man." She smirked as she looked at Zaire, "Must hurt to find someone more beautiful than you on top of your man." Zaire folded her arms, "Oh, I didn't. I just found you on top of him which is much worse." Anzu fumed, "I was talking about me." "But you said someone more beautiful than me." Zaire stated innocently. Anzu clenched her hands but immediately settled back down, "Doesn't matter what you say, I won your man. That's victory enough for me. Besides if you're so much better than me, why is it that Yami was fucking me on the bathroom floor that day and not you?" Anzu laughed but was immediately shut up by a searing pain emitting from her jaw. She landed on the floor hard. Once she recovered from the blow she placed her hand to her jaw and looked at Miza with shock. Miza smirked, "I wish." She pointed toward Zaire who was breathing heavily with anger. Zaire walked over to stand above Anzu who flinched, "Listen closely and listen good," Zaire said in a deadly whisper, "keep your ass wiped hands out of my life and off my stuff. If I ever see you again I will personally fuck you up worse than you already are. Don't mess with me bitch, I am not one to fuck around with. Do I make myself clear?" Anzu gave her a shaky nod. "Good. Lets go guys." Zaire stated as she headed toward the exit of the store. The three girls looked at each other with widened eyes as they followed Zaire out the store. Lavie grinned big at Anzu as she raced back into the store to give Anzu one good kick to the ribs. "Lavie, lets go!" Satire yelled at her. Lavie waved bye to Anzu as the girl clutched at her stomach and moaned drawing the attention of the other customers. ~~~~~~ Please ReviewWhile AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
