Halloween.

It was one of Mokuba's favorite times of year. He loved the festivities and the fact that Seto let him throw a party with his friends. However, as he got older the parties became less like a bunch of kids wanting candy and more like a sexy dress up party for high-schoolers. It was fine though and he personally thought Seto was happy for the change in activities. Cleaning up was a lot easier for the mansion staff and he didn't have to worry about fixing things a bunch of sugar high children would break while running around.

This year Mokuba decided to go to the party dressed as a character from this manga he had enjoyed called Inuyasha. He pulled his long black hair back and put on the outfit that transformed him from Mokuba Kaiba to the Wolf Prince Kouga. Another glance in the mirror and he was set to go join the plenty of guests that he had invited to his party, though part of him didn't want to go. While, he enjoyed the parties he had each year, once he entered high school it seemed that the only thing on most of the feminine population's minds was the fact that he was rich.

He truly didn't want to have to deal with another party of scantily clad women trying to date him. Hell, even teachers showed up to the event in hopes of possibly getting a date with the younger Kaiba. Seto had already found someone and therefore they realized that their chances with the President of Kaiba Corp. were slim to none and they needed to try for the Vice President of Kaiba Corp.

Mokuba wasn't into all the glitz and glamour they wanted nor did he care for the sweet and romantic things that they wanted either. He liked dark and nice with a splash of creepy. Mainly because it was people interested in these things that he could really talk to and have a definite conversation with. People under that category weren't after his money or anything like that in his mind, they truly enjoyed the conversation of not so vanilla topics and that is what the youngest Kaiba wanted. If someone were to ask whether he preferred men or women, he would say men because he was bisexual. In other words, he liked both sexes but preferred his own to that of the opposite.

He made his way down the stairs and everyone stopped to look at him once he entered the ballroom used for the party. "Welcome and Thank you for coming." were the only words he spoke before the DJ started playing and people were once again socializing. Mokuba walked over to his friends Yuugi and crew talking to them about the latest things in Duel Monsters, the party, and hearing about new bits in their own relationships.

Relationships.

Mokuba didn't think he'd ever have one because he couldn't find anyone who basically did more than make themselves look like dolls. That is not to say he has never been in one before. He dated Yuugi for a bit as well as Ryo and even Katsuya for a little bit. The breakups weren't bad and they were all still friends, even him and Katsuya which is odd to their friends since Katsuya is very much engaged to Seto. He was happy for them actually. Both he and Katsuya didn't work out and it was actually him who set the two up. He could tell they both liked each other and he had come to look at Katsuya as more of an older brother rather than a lover, which they had never been. No, the first time Mokuba had lost his virginity he was with the still very sexy then nineteen year old Ryo Bakura when he was fourteen.

No, he needed something different than Ryo and Yuugi. Those two were sweet as pie ukes at times, but they weren't into the dark, creepy sort of things that made Mokuba love Halloween. Mokuba excused himself from them to go grab a drink from the table when he saw someone with the best zombie look ever. So naturally he went over to the other person and gave them a dazzling smile.

"Hey. I love the costume. How long did it take to make?" he asked politely.

The other looked up at him with hollow almost sunken eyes. "It’s not a costume per say. I had a bad home life and didn't eat much. However, I added some of the ghoulish looking make up and stuff for an added affect. I was invited here with some friends. I am sorry if you wish me to leave." the other said to him.

Mokuba bit his lip. "I am sorry that I did not realize it wasn't completely a costume and no you don't have to leave at all." he said with a smaller smile than before his mistake. "So you did all this make-up yourself? That is awesome. What kind of things are you into?"

"Well duel monsters for one. I was at duelist kingdom when I was following some really arrogant guy named Bandit Keith.", he said to him taking out his deck. "You look trustworthy. Here take a look."

Mokuba briefly remembered who Bandit Keith was and took the cards from him. "Oh wow this is an entire undead deck. Awesome. How long did it take you to get all these?" he asked him looking through the cards.

"About five years in total I believe.” he said blushing only slightly at Mokuba’s sheer interest in his deck. "The name’s Kotsuzuka. At least that is what everyone calls me."

"Mokuba. Mokuba Kaiba.", he said to Kotsuzuka as he handed back the deck. An eerie slow song came on over the speakers and everyone started to pair up. He looked to see Kotsuzuka making his way to the corner and frowned. He walked over to the other and took his hand in his causing Kotsuzuka to look up with that strange pink blush again. It was actually kind of cute, Mokuba mused. "Come on dance with me.", he said to him with a smile.

Kotsuzuka followed Mokuba to the dance floor surprised when the other pulled him close and started dancing with him slowly. He looked down at his feet to make sure that he didn't step on Mokuba's when he felt his chin tilted up a bit.

"Relax. I've had people bigger than you step on my feet. It wouldn't bother me. Just enjoy the dance." Mokuba said to him and sighed inwardly with relief when the other did relax. They swayed back and forth to the music until it started to come to an eerie close.

As the last part of the song was going on, Kotsuzuka looked up at Mokuba almost shy. "This is the first time I've really danced with someone. I like it. Could I dance with you again later when another song like this comes on?" he asked Mokuba. He was older than the other, and wished his face didn't heat up as much as it was.

Mokuba smiled at Kotsuzuka and then leaned down placing a soft kiss on dead looking lips. "Of course we can.", he said to him as he signaled the DJ to play another song different, but slow like the last.

The music started up and Kotsuzuka smiled. "So does this mean we are at least friends?" he asked Mokuba.

Mokuba looked at Kotsuzuka again with a serious yet non-threatening look on his eyes. "I am sure we could be more than friends..." he said and leaned down capturing those lips again oblivious to the rest of the party around him.

In the control room overlooking the party Seto Kaiba gave his lover and fiancé Katsuya a hundred dollars mad that he had lost their little bet. It seems Katsuya was right and right now he was happy to see his brother finally interested in someone.
