I for Inmate
“Hey. Are you Joey?”Joey finished buttoning his shirt and turned around. A man that resembled his best friend Yugi came walking up to him.“Yea. That’s me. Joey Wheeler,” Joey said, holding his hand. The man shook it with a smile.“Welcome to the job, Wheeler. I’m Yami. You’re going to be on Block D with me tonight. The warden likes to see newbies at each job post before he starts putting you on the schedule,” Yami explained.Joey nodded as he shut his locket and slid the lock shut. He turned around to walk alongside Yami. They passed through a security door and walked along a long, quiet hall.“I’m not going to sugarcoat things while you’re with me, Wheeler. Block D is the most dangerous area in Domino,” Yami told him.“Why is that?” Joey asked.“Block D is solitary confinement. We currently have three inmates in Block D. Bakura, Malik, and Kaiba,” Yami answered.“So what’s solitary like? It can’t be all that bad to work it,” Joey remarked.Yami barked out a huge laugh while shaking his head.“You have no idea, Wheeler. These three are class A assholes. You stick around long enough and you might be able to understand them,” Yami said, stopping at another door to unlock it.Joey frowned at Yami’s back.“What? They all speak a different language or something?” Joey asked.Yami chuckled. He held the door open and Joey went through. Yami pulled it closed behind him with the door automatically locking.“I wish that was our problem. No. Bakura, Malik, and Kaiba don’t talk.” Frown. “And yet they don’t shut up.”Joey wasn’t quite sure how to interpret that. Yami explained to him that since it was another couple of hours before lunch, it was time to take Kaiba out. Joey’s eyebrows shot up to his hairline.“Take him out to what? Early brunch?” Joey asked, confused.Yami snorted.“Don’t mention that in front of him. The bastard may actually run with that idea. Nah. Kaiba had his lawyer convince the judge that complete isolation was inhumane. He gets to go outside each day for an hour,” Yami explained.Joey thought was nuts, but he wisely kept his mouth shut. They stopped at a door where Yami looked up in a ceiling corner.“Unlock it,” he said, clear as day. There was a loud buzz sound and they went through the temporarily unlocked door. Solitary confinement was a long, wide hallway with about a dozen doors. Yami pointed out which cells belonged to Bakura and Malik; Kaiba’s turned out to be the very last one at the end of the hall. After knocking twice, Yami opened the door by flashing his badge across an invisible spot next to the door. The door opened to reveal the inmate inside. The two prison guards stood back far enough to allow the man to step out into the light of the hallway. Kaiba was surprisingly taller than Joey with clean-cut, short brown hair. His dark blue gaze shifted from Yami to Wheeler and then back to Yami. The silent inmate cocked his head to the side with a slightly raised eyebrow.Yami shot him an annoyed look.“Really, Kaiba? We’re going to do this now? You know this just takes time out of your yard time,” Yami scolded.Seto’s mouth twisted up in a small side smirk. Yami sighed in frustration before directing his speech to Joey.“Wheeler, meet Seto Kaiba, the biggest pain in my ass in the entire country,” Yami said.Seeing Kaiba smirk at the side of Yami’s head, Joey had no doubt he was a pain in the ass to the shorter guard. Turning his gaze, Kaiba tipped his head in an obvious sign of greeting. Joey nodded his head in return./……/
It had been three months since Joey started working at Domino, one of the most secured prisons in the country. It wasn’t the greatest pay in the world, but he enjoyed what he did. The inmates were a fascinating bunch.
The few in there who were short-timers mostly kept to themselves and were friendly to the guards. Most of the inmates were low-lives in for the long haul; they weren’t too bad to deal with. It was Block D’s three inmates that were the most fascinating; Bakura, Marik, and Kaiba.Marik was a tall, dark-skinned Egyptian with a dark smirk. Bakura was short like his friend Yugi; wild, light-colored hair with an equally dark smirk. Kaiba…well, Kaiba was something else entirely. Quite often, Joey found himself scheduled working the Block D shift with Yami, Tristan, or Duke; getting to go outside with Kaiba almost every time. The brunette kept an unusually close eye on him whenever they were together. Even when he stood up on the tower with a sniper rifle, the brunette would always spot him with ease. Joey couldn’t read his mind or expression. Every once in a while, Kaiba would smirk at him or nod his head to him.Out of pure curiosity, he had read up on the three. He wanted to know why they were in solitary.Marik. A killer who murdered over thirty in six different countries. Finally caught in the U.S. who refused to extradite him to one of the other countries. No show of remorse or explanations as to why.Bakura. Psycho. Pure and simple. Set off several, large-scale bombs throughout Britain and the U.S. Took a Senator’s son hostage and held him for over a year. Poor kid was still recovering in the mental hospital.Seto Kaiba. Son of a CEO of a large corporation. Gifted with a very high IQ. Private school valedictorian turned mass murderer. Tracked down, tortured, and murdered twenty people over the course of two months. Certifiably insane, according to the courts.Knock knock knock. Joey put his pizza down on his plate and climbed to his feet. He trudged through the apartment to the door where he looked through the peephole. Recognizing the familiar face, Joey quickly unlatched the chain, turned the deadbolt, and opened the door. Police Chief Teá Gardner was standing there in the doorway in full uniform.“Chief Gardner?” Joey asked, his real question hanging unspoken in the air.Teá reached into her pocket and pulled out a red-tagged evidence bag. It had a small bracelet in it, which Teá handed to him. Joey bit back a sob as he clutched the bracelet in his hand.“It’s hers. It’s Serenity’s,” Joey said, his bottom lip quivering.Teá reached up to grasp his arm and squeeze.“We found her, Joey.”Joey dropped his head and a slow set of tears cascaded down his face. He knew this day would come. It brought him both happiness and sadness. Teá stepped closer and brought him to her in a hug. That caused the dam to burst open and Joey collapsed into loud sobs./……/
/…Five Days Later…/He could see that Kaiba was confused as to why he had been brought to questioning. Two guards dropped him off and sealed the door behind them after undoing Kaiba’s cuffs. Kaiba rubbed gently at his wrists before lifting his head. His eyebrows lowered in clear confusion.Joey smiled as he tilted his hat back and lifted his head.“Ya probably don’t recognize me, do you, Kaiba? Used to seeing me in uniform,” Joey commented.Recognition sparked in his dark blue orbs and the familiar smirk graced his face. Kaiba sauntered over to the table, pulled out the chair and sat down. He leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest.“I didn’t want to be here on my day off, but someone called in a favor. I came to ask you…about a victim,” Joey said.Kaiba watched him pull a small photo from his shirt pocket. He put it face-up and slid it across the table to Kaiba. The brunette slid it closer and picked it up. The photograph was of a young woman with bright red hair and warm brown eyes. Kaiba’s gaze shifted upwards from the photograph to the blonde prison guard.“Is she one of your victims?” Joey questioned him.Kaiba brought the picture closer to his face. He ran his thumb over it gently. After a few seconds of torturing silence, Kaiba lay the photo down and slid it back to Joey. He tilted his head to the side with a small grin.Joey felt a wave of anger as he snatched the photograph up and stuffed it back into his pocket.“That’s what I thought. Thanks for the help, Kaiba,” Joey said before heading for the door.He knocked on it and waited for them to open it before slipping out. He was crossing through the lockers when Tristan caught him.“Hey. What you doing here, man?” Tristan asked.Joey shrugged.“Here by request of the D.A. I was asking Kaiba if he murdered…a victim they found a few days ago,” Joey answered.Tristan winced.“Tough break, man. Hey, do you mind clocking in while you’re here? The storm’s really raging outside and we’re short a man. Yami got called to court at the last minute and Duke’s out sick with the damn flu,” Tristan explained.Joey really just wanted to go home. However, with the storm outside, he knew Domino could really use him tonight.“Let me get changed,” Joey replied.Tristan smiled and clapped him on the shoulder.“Good on you, man. I’ll let Pegasus know.”Joey wandered over to his locker. He moved the lock to the last number of his combination and yanked down on the lock. He changed out of his clothes, folding his shirt neatly so as not to wrinkle Serenity’s photograph. Joey was buttoning his shirt when the power suddenly went out.His head snapped up with a gasp as the emergency lights came out. It was transition time between the cells. Joey slammed his locker shut and he ran out the door. Shouting was happening out in the hall. No sooner did Joey run out, something hard slammed into the back of his head and he crumbled to the ground.Joey’s vision was blurred, but he could still make out Hirutani’s ugly mug. He was cackling as he snagged Joey’s handcuffs and cuffed his wrists with them.“I’ve been waiting for this ever since I spotted yer sweet ass,” Hirutani laughed. He stood up and Joey thought he heard him rustling around with himself. Another inmate called out to him.“Hirutani, don’t. Wheeler’s got a claim on him,” the inmate reminded him.Hirutani snorted.“I’m sure he won’t mind me sampling Wheeler first.”Suddenly, a single gunshot rang out. Joey gasped as Hirutani fell beside him; blood leaking from the single hole in the center of his forehead. The humming pain in the back of his head forced Joey into unconsciousness./……/
Waking up, Joey turned his head away at the soft touch on his face. His head was still throbbing in pain as he slowly woke up. The hand filtered up to the bump on his head and prodded gently. Joey hissed through his teeth and his arms jerked with the handcuffs, scratching his wrists. He was shushed as the hand came back down to cup the side of his face. A thumb ran gently back and forth over his bottom lip, sending unwelcome tingles up his spine.
“Your head will be okay, pup. Nothing a little rest and ice won’t take care of,” the voice told him.Joey couldn’t suppress a shiver.“Where are the other guards?” Joey asked. The other male chuckled. The thumb moved up to trace over both lips.“You should worry more about your own well being, Dog.”Joey flinched away from the touch. The non-answer told him what he feared. The other guards were more than likely dead. His body shivered as he curled away from the inmate. He was laid out on one of the inmates’ beds with his cuffed hands attached to it.“White.”He felt the inmate sit on the bed with his back resting against Joey’s spine. He didn’t recognize the voice of either inmate and that worried him. It meant he didn’t know who held him hostage.“What is it, Blue?” White, “his” inmate, asked.Blue chuckled from the doorway.“Everything’s ahead of schedule. We’re going to be ready in two hours.”White made an hmm sound.“Good. Proceed as planned. Make sure the others are ready.”“You can count on it, White.”Joey heard the other inmate leave. A lot of things concerned him. He didn’t know what this inmate was going to do to him. He didn’t know what was going to happen in two hours. He startled when he felt a warm hand slid under his shirt and across to his stomach. A set of sharp teeth lightly nibbled on the back of his neck. A chuckle wafted over his ear.“Don’t worry your pretty little head, puppy. Your virtue is safe,” the voice whispered in his ear.Much as he wanted to, Joey couldn’t deny how good it felt to be held. He had been holding himself up for so long, tensing every time the Police Chief came to his apartment door. And now the hurt was still fresh in his mind. Serenity was dead. She wasn’t coming back. Never again would Joey hear her laugh. He shook in the inmate’s arms. His stomach was rubbed and several light kisses were planted along the back of his neck. A sharp nip to the skin behind his ear caused a whole different series of shivers.“I’m curious about something, Pup.”Joey bit his bottom lip. “What?”The hand running circles over his stomach stopped. The inmate scooted even closer, if possible, to lay his chin on Joey’s shoulder. His lips brushed his ear as he spoke.“Word around the cells is you weren’t supposed to be on duty tonight. So why are you here?” the inmate whispered.Joey knew he wasn’t going anywhere fast. He would be lucky to survive this ordeal. He figured honesty was going to be his best chance.“I was here by the request of the Police Chief and District Attorney. I came to talk to Kaiba. After I was done, I was told guards were shorthanded and was asked to stay on,” Joey explained.White made an hmm sound, spurring on Joey to continue.“I came to ask him about a murder. They found…there were similarities between his kills and…the victim,” Joey managed to choke out.White gently shushed him again as he started smoothing circles over his stomach again.“Tell me about her. The victim. Was she your lover?”From under the blindfold, a single tear suddenly slipped down Joey’s cheek.“She was my sister Serenity. She was…going to graduate in a month.”At first, despite their close proximity, Joey thought the inmate may not have heard him. But then he felt a cold thumb wipe away the tear and a warm tongue lick at his pulse point.“Tell me about her.” It wasn’t a request.Joey found himself spilling the whole truth. It had been over a year ago. He had been late to pick her up from the local library and when he had arrived, she hadn’t been there. It wasn’t the first time it had happened; he figured she got a ride with one of her friends, back to her mother’s house. He called her cell, but only ended up leaving a voicemail. It wasn’t until the next morning when he came to pick her from school that both he and his mother discovered she had never come home.“What made the D.A. think that Kaiba killed your sister?” White asked.“There were a few similarities. There was nothing left to recognize. Had to rely on dental to ID her. She…umm…she had a dragon card on her, like all his victims. But the timeline didn’t fit and I know he didn’t do it,” Joey murmured. His wrists were starting to throb painfully.“How do you know Kaiba didn’t do it? He could have just as easily have had an apprentice before he was caught and convicted,” White commented.Joey bit his bottom lip to hold back a whimper. The hand on his stomach had dipped down to run rough lines just under his pants line, closer to the growing heat below. The man was determined to break him down completely. In answer to the inmate’s question, Joey shook his head as best he could.“Nah. Nah, he didn’t do it. Smug bastard would have been gloating if he’d done it.”Joey would have said more, but it got lost in a loud gasp when White’s hand suddenly slipped down the front of his pants. He couldn’t stop this whimper as the hand partially laid over the base of his hardening cock. The inmate’s mouth had returned to his throat; licks and nips that sent tingles up his spine. Joey found himself whimpering because he was now stuck between a hand and a cock. A cock slid between his legs, pressing into his crease through thin pants.“You’re too clever to be a simpleton like the other guards,” White hissed in his ear.Joey moaned as the hand slid the rest of the way down to grasp his aching member. The hand was slow and worked in time with the erection that pressed at his entrance. Joey bit back a curse at the pleasure rocking his body. He shouldn’t be letting an inmate do this to him. But he was cuffed to the railing and blindfolded…there wasn’t much choice to be had.White kept this up until Joey felt he was close and was rocking his hips up into the hand. Joey suddenly found himself forced onto his back with his pants down by his ankles. Joey found the hand pumping him harder and faster. He came with a loud scream. He felt his cum splash over thighs, member, and chest.Joey’s lower lip shook as he took in large, gasping breaths. He felt the prisoner remove his pants and boxers. Then White spread his legs further apart. Joey made a whine at the back of his throat when he felt a hot tongue lapping up the cum. It swiped over his thighs and member with a small, deep suck at the head.He could feel his exhaustion setting in and he let it take him into darkness. The last coherent thought was ‘Oh, gods, don’t put your tongue there!’/……/
He shivered violently. His whole body was freezing. His clothes clung to his dripping wet body. It was dark but he could still feel one of his hands cuffed to a pole. He jerked slightly as a blinding flash of light skipped over him. It stopped a few feet away and came back to land on him.
“Wheeler? Wheeler! Guys, he’s down here!”“Mr. Wheeler?”A hand lifted under his chin to reveal a worried Yami. His bottom lip was quivering as Yami ripped his jacket off and wrapped it around him.“MR. WHEELER?”Joey snapped out of his thoughts and looked up. He was back in the police station with the District Attorney and the Police Chief in the Chief’s office. Joey brought a hand up to rub his forehead.“I’m sorry. What was your question?” Joey asked. The D.A. glared daggers at him.“I asked what happened next. You said the inmate uncuffed you from the bed,” the D.A. prompted.Joey nodded.“He pulled me down a few halls and to the showers. He kept the blindfold on me while he led me into the showers. He put his hand on top of mine and made me turn the shower on myself. He loosened the blind fold and I guess he cuffed my one hand to a pole. I don’t know how the water turned off or how I wound up on the floor.” Joey shrugged. “I just remember being really tired.”The D.A. wasn’t happy with his answers, but he had no reason not to believe Joey. He finally allowed Joey to leave the police department. Yugi was waiting to take him home. They jumped into the silver Prius and Yugi drove him straight home.“Why were they questioning you?” Yugi asked.Joey sighed.“Everything ran too smooth and a good number of inmates got away without leaving a trace behind. They’re thinking the inmates turned a guard,” Joey explained.Yugi frowned.“But you’ve only been there a few months.”“I know! I finally convinced them it couldn’t be me.”Yugi shook his head as he turned down a street.“Do they have any leads?” Yugi asked.Joey nodded as he slumped over against the window.“They thought Duke may have been involved, but he had a signed note from his doctor. Turns out he had some bad bug.”It didn’t take long before Yugi was pulling up in front of Joey’s apartment building. Dark storm clouds loomed overhead, but nothing fell so far. Joey hopped out and stuck his head back through the open window.“Thanks for the ride, Yug. We’ll get together for lunch sometime this week,” Joey said.Yugi smiled.“It’s a date. Get some rest, Joey.”Joey turned around and jogged up the stairs to go inside. His apartment was on the fourth floor. He stumbled in after unlocking the door. He had just enough sense to fully lock up the door before stumbling over to the couch. He was beyond exhausted and thus fell asleep after his head hit the pillow on the end of the couch. He woke up some time later to a dark apartment and rain pounding heavily on the windows.Joey sat up rubbing his eyes and yawned. He turned on a lamp light and threw himself to his feet. With another wide yawn, he wandered down the hall to his bedroom. He turned on his bedroom light as he wandered through to the bathroom. Without turning on the light in the bathroom, Joey turned on the faucet so he could splash water in his face.Turning off the faucet, Joey snatched up a small hand towel and wiped his face. He had dropped the towel on the counter and was straightening up when a pair of arms suddenly snaked around his body. He gasped but it was quickly covered with a hand over his mouth. He was pulled back against a hard body and gently shushed. The bathroom lit up with a flash of lightning, revealing the identity of who held him. Instantly, Joey’s eyes closed and he relaxed. The hand came down and a rough tongue gave the back of his ear kitten licks.“Who was your date, Pup?” Seto asked, a warning tone to his voice.Joey shivered as the hands slipped under his clothes.“It…it’s just Yugi. He’s a friend. ‘sides, he’s dating Yami,” Joey murmured, leaning slightly into the touch.Seto smirked along the back of his neck as he dipped his head down to suck at Joey’s neck. Joey groaned softly as he felt that and a hard member poking into his back.“What did you tell the police?” Seto whispered against his skin.Joey shook his head.“Nothing.”He whimpered loudly when the inmate’s mouth latched onto a sensitive piece of his shoulder through his shirt. He hissed as a hand found its way along his backside. A finger probed at his entrance through his boxers.“You still owe me, Puppy. Hirutani wanted to have his way with you and I put a bullet through that peanut-sized brain of his,” Seto said, as he peeled Joey’s shirt away.Joey recalled something one of the inmates had yelled at Hirutani. At the same time, he felt his belt being undone and pulled free through the loops.“One of the inmates…he said something *gasp* about a c-c-claim,” Joey stuttered out.His jeans and boxers were lowered, exposing his hot member to the cold air. A strong hand grasped his cock and started pumping him. Joey groaned as his body betrayed him. He knew it was so wrong, but it felt too good to protest.“He did. From day one, I made a claim on you. And I made sure my little guard let every inmate in that cesspool know that. You were untouchable. You were mine,” Seto growled in a possessive tone.Shivers and goosebumps resonated through his body. He had lovers in the past, but none of them exuded the same air as Seto Kaiba. Joey threw his head back with a groan as a wet member slid between his cheeks. It sent shocking tingles through his body.He wanted more.“Please,” he begged.Seto shushed him again gently and slowed the movements on the poor blonde’s cock and entrance.“How long has it been, Pup? How long since you’ve been taken?” Kaiba almost sounded angry at the thought. But Joey surprised him with his stuttering negative answer. Seto shushed him as he made Joey step out of his jeans and boxers. Seto tossed them away before forcing Joey to lean forward. He brought his hands up to press against the front of the counter.“You’re an even better Puppy than I originally thought. Keep your hands here and spread your legs.” Chuckle. “Good. Good puppy.”With the next flash of lightning, Seto was gone. Yet Joey could still feel his presence somewhere behind him. He gasped as he felt too freezing cold hands spread his cheeks apart. He nearly screamed with pleasure when something wet stabbed at his entrance. Feeling a brush of hair against his skin, Joey realized what that wet something was as it sent shocks of pleasure through his body. His cheeks were spread further apart so the tongue lapped over the entrance and stabbed into it. He got so lost in the pleasure he couldn’t even recall how he wound up on his bed, being stabbed in his prostate with something much larger than a tongue. This time, he really did scream when his pleasurable spot was stabbed mercilessly. The next thing he knew, he was lying on his side panting lightly with an overheated body. The inmate curled behind his body, keeping his soft member pressed into the blonde. He ran soothing touches over the blonde’s body, helping him to calm down enough to drift off to sleep. He might have imagined the soft kiss of a lover pressed to his head. The next morning, Joey woke up naked, clean and alone in his bed. There was a hot breakfast sitting on a tray nearby. Beside it was a newspaper with the front page headline covered with a card of a dragon. Joey picked up the card and found his sister’s bracelet under it. Picking up the bracelet with a quivering bottom lip, Joey read about the murdered man below. He knew in an instant what Kaiba was telling him. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
