Chapter Thirty-seven

“All right,
students! The talent show is coming up soon, and you are all required to
participate! There’s any number of things that you can do! Give a speech, sing,
dance, do a comedy act. We’ll even let you arrange furniture if we have to!”

help it,” says Katsuya yawning, “I just don’t feel well. I can’t keep awake. At
night, I sleep and have nightmares… some are memories, and some could very well
be visions of the future. I get no rest at night, so I’m exhausted in the day,
but when I sleep in the day, I have no dreams at all.”“Come, I’ll
take you home so you can sleep,” says Seto.Katsuya
nods his head.Seto
escorts Katsuya out of the school while calling his limo to come pick them up.
They climb into the back as soon as the long black vehicle pulls up to the
curb. “Take us home.”“Why have
you been sleeping so much lately?” asks Katsuya.“I’ve been

than just as night,” says Seto blushing.“Dreams
like last night?” asks Katsuya blushing.“Yes… Like
that,” says Seto turning his eyes away from Katsuya.Katsuya
leans against Seto and closes his eyes, falling almost instantly to sleep.Seto smiles

eyebrows scrunch down in confusion. “What’s so funny?”“I just
pictured the face of the principal if you were to give my speech at the talent
show!” exclaims Seto.Katsuya
bursts out laughing and leans against Seto as the brunet also starts full out
laughing. “I’d pay to see that!”Seto raises
an eyebrow. “Pay? Pay with what?”“Oh, yeah,
that’s right. I’m broke,” says Katsuya. His face falls from its previous
happiness.“Let’s do
it,” says Seto.“Huh?”
“I’ll sing
a song, and you can give my speech to the crowd.”Katsuya
smiles. “Great, but… I can’t write a speech!”“That’s
what I pay someone for! I’ll have my speechwriter make a speech about my latest
project, and you can present it as if you were at a press conference,” says

to pick the song you sing then?” asks Katsuya.“You can
