HUZA! Chapter 4 is here! Moreover, I hope you like it cause
things are starting to look up for Ryou now! So ENJOY!!!

Ryou finished his bath and bit his lower lip, he didn�t want
to leave and Yami would probably check on him in a few minutes if he didn�t come
out soon. He opened the small window behind the toilet and looked down upon the
alley way�it wasn�t really far but it wasn�t exactly close either. A knock on
the door startled him as he almost fell out of the window when he heard it.
�I�ll give you fifteen minutes Ryou.� Yami said sounding
angrier probably from Ryou�s earlier rebellion against him.
Ryou grabbed a few clothes out of the hamper a putting them
on quickly as he carefully made his way out the window. He managed to grab on
to the drainpipe but in the process of going down, he misjudged the distance
and landed oddly on his ankle in doing so. However, he shrugged it off and
began to walk quickly�where too Ryou wasn�t sure he just wanted to be away from
Yami and as far away as he possibly could. Ryou sighed relived for the time
being as he slowed down his pace, Yami surely knew he was gone by now but that
didn�t matter he had at least a ten minute head start not to mention it was
getting dark soon Yami would have to go home so not to worry his precious Yugi.
Ryou cursed Yami under his breath, true his Yami wasn�t the nicest of people,
and he was slightly abusive when they first meet but the thought of raping Ryou
never even crossed his mind�Bakura had said it would be just like raping an
angel because a Hikari was pure light nothing dark should ever touch them.
Unfortunately the darkness has a will of its own and more power than the light,
Yami cut through Ryou�s light like a knife and slowly is turning it into a void
of nothingness. Ryou sniffled slightly as he looked at his bare feet, there
were no shoes in the bathroom and he wasn�t about to go in his room to get some
but as night approached it got colder and it wasn�t exactly healthy to walk
around bare foot. He would have to go back home soon too even if he escaped
Yami tonight he would surely face his wrath tomorrow as early as possible�no
waycoulcould talk his way out of a beating this time. A few silent tears fefromfrom his eyes as Ryou furiously brushed them away. A stern hand grasped his shoulder
causing Ryou to jerk and pull away quickly but was surprised that the hand
didn�t quickly grasp him it immediately let go of him and let him get away.
Ryou turned to see a slightly startled Seto looking him over curiously.
�Are you all right?� He asked
�Yeah, sorry I didn�t mean to startle you or anything.� Ryou
said looking down
�What are you doing so far from home?� Seto asked stepping
closer to Ryou with a bit of precaution in hivemevements as if he advanced to
quickly he would scare Ryou away.
��I�d rather not say�� Ryou said trailing off not wanting to
explain anything basically because he couldn�t say anything.
Seto shrugged �Well�you are pretty far from home, would you
like a ride home?� Seto asked, �We�re not far from my place you could call someone
or get you a cab or something.� Seto said
�You sure it wouldn�t be any trouble?� Ryou asked shyly not
wanting to bother him really.
�No trouble at all Ryou.� Seto said walking ahead of the boy
so he could follow him
Seto sighed as he walked he noticed Ryou wasn�t wearing any
shoes but didn�t bring it up it was obvious he didn�t want to talk about it.
But his condition did concern Seto slightly whatever made him go so far away
from home was probably not something Ryou was looking forward to seeing again.
Seto was about to say something but thunder boomed above them causing Ryou to
jump and latch onto Setos arm. Seto ed sed slightly, he looked like a scared
kitten and it was adorable.
�You okay?� Seto asked softly
Ryou let him go quickly �S-sorry� Ryou said blushing
slightly
Seto smiled he really was cute �No its fine, we better get
home soon though unless we wanna get soaked.� Seto said breaking into a sprint
Ryou close behind.
By the time, both boys reached the gate it was practically
pouring rain outside and although they got inside soon they were both soaking
wet from the rain.
�Looks like us running didn�t help much.� Seto said taking
off his jacket, which seemed to absorb the rain more than repel it.
Ryou smiled softly then the power suddenly went out all over
the mansion-like-house.
�Shit�� Seto said, �Stay there Ryou and I�ll see if the
phones still work okay?� He asked not being able to see where he was going and
trying to find the wall.
�Sure�� Ryou said meekly not liking the dark one bit as he
held himself when his body began to shiver.
Seto sighed upon finding the phone dead; he wasn�t sure what
to do. He went back to Ryou but he didn�t know where he was and ended up
running into the small boy knocking him down.
�Sorry!� Seto quickly apologized as he blindly helped him
up.
�Its all right�I cant see anything either. The phone was
dead wasn�t it?� Ryou asked holding on to Setos hands as he pulled him up.
�Yeah, you can check if yourself if you want.� Seto said
�It�s okay�I think I can trust you.� Ryou said shivering
slightly
�You�re freezing�� Seto said drawing him closer to his body
trying to warm him up a bit and it seemed to help a little.
Ryou relaxed in those strong yet amazingly gentle arms, he
was warm Yami had strangely cool skin and chilly hands but Seto was different
he was so warm. Ryou didn�t want him to let go but knew he might not be welcome
so he reluctantly pulled away.
�I�once the rain lets up I guess I�ll go home, unless you
want me to leave now or something.� Ryou said softly
�In this weather?!� Seto said a bit surprised �You don�t
have to leave Ryou, you can stay the night, it�s really no trouble at all.� He
said
�I don�t want to trouble you�� Ryou began but Seto cut him
off
�It�s no trouble at all�besides I would kind of like the
company Mokuba is staying at his friends for spring break so I�ll be basically
alone for the week�and I don�t work this week because it being a company
holiday.� Seto said taking his hand as they blindly walked upstairs.
�Are you sure? I mean I don�t wanna to burden you.� Ryou
said not wanting to leave in all truth.
�I said it was no problem.� Seto said smiling although you
couldn�t see.
You also couldn�t see that he was practically beaming. He
really liked Ryou, he would probably never admit it but he had become quite
fond of him always watching him at school. For a while he thought that Ryou and
Yami were an unofficial couple but the way Ryou had acted around Yami now was
really strange�it was like he was afraid of Yami somehow�Seto shook of that
thought. Tonight Ryou was his, not that he would harm the white haired angel
but he could at least tell him how he felt now without Yami, Mokuba or the gang
interfering with him. Seto smiled even brighter now.
