Author�s Note: I believe the reason this idea formed in my head in the first place was to try and show my beta (who doesn�t watch YGO, but has decided her favorite pairings are J/S and R/B thanks to my fics) that Yami/Yugi can be a good pairing as well ^_^

A TASTE OF DARKNESS

�There he is! Get him!�

Yugi Motou�s eyes widened, head whipping around to look over his shoulder. Sure enough, there they were, pointing in his direction and changing the direction of their original pursuit.

Not wasting any more time hiding behind the vending machine, Yugi took off; making a sharp turn into an alleyway that led him to an unfamiliar street. Hoping this area was just as strange to his pursuers, he zigzagged between people and buildings, successfully getting himself lost in the process.

Unfortunately, there was still one boy chasing him.

In a last ditch attempt, Yugi ducked into a dirty looking shop, peeking through the tinted windows in time to see the one boy standing alone in the middle of the street, his friends soon congregating around him. The group went into the first store, only to reemerge several minutes later and move onto the next.

With a sinking feeling, Yugi pulled away from the window. The boys were still determined to look for him.

Deciding to see if there was a back entrance to this place, the tri-colored hair teen turned around, only to have his jaw drop to the floor in shock.

The place was hazy with the smoke of cigarettes, giving one an inherently dirty feel. The lights in the place were dim and colorful, with spotlights on tables larger than deemed necessary. And there, up on those gigantic tabletops lined with neon lighting and topped with a pole in the middle were�men.

Not just any men, mind you. But scantily clad men, moving in ways Yugi thought only girls were supposed to and enticing other men. With a flaming red face, the boy realized he had just walked into a gay strip club.

Instantly lowering his head, Yugi desperately scanned along the walls, hoping to find a second exit in the establishment. There were several doors, but with people constantly streaming in and out of them, Yugi highly doubted they would serve his purpose.

With a defeated resolve, Yugi decided it best to find a dark corner away from all the action (and security, considering he looked far below the age of consent) and simply wait about an hour or so before taking the risk of heading back outside.

Looking around, Yugi quickly spotted an unlit stage-table and decided to head over to that. However, as soon as he took off his small backpack and sat down, the lighting on the table lit up and the spotlight blinked on.

Instantly, he was crowded by a large number of what seemed to be businessmen and older college students, blocking any means of escape. Clutching his bag to his chest, it seemed as if Yugi had no choice but to remain and watch the show.

�Gentlemen, I�m sorry to announce that our great Duke will not be in today. However, we are quite lucky to say he has a friend! Make sure to give a warm welcome to Yami!�

Yugi cringed as the audience went from jeers to cheers as they listened to the DJ�s words. To say he was uncomfortable would be the understatement of the century. The small boy wanted nothing more than to find himself at home in his bed, waking up from this horrible dream. To be able to climb into his brother�s, Atemu�s, bed and snuggle up to that warm body with the excuse that he was no longer able to sleep thanks to his nightmare.

And like the good brother he was, Atemu would just roll his eyes at how wimpy Yugi insisted on being before scooting over to make room for the second body.

However, such a thing would soon no longer be possible. Atemu would be moving out at the end of the month for college and Yugi would no longer have anyone to shelter and protect him from the unforgiving world that he encountered every week which insisted that the strong beat the crap out of the weak and kind-hearted.

Snapped out of his thoughts by an elbow knocking into the side of his head, followed by a quick �sorry�, Yugi turned his attention back to the stage.

A pair of nicely clad legs, strategically placed in their appropriate position in the middle of the platform, remained still as hypnotizing leather-encased hips swayed sensuously to the music's thrumming beat. Fingertips played with a tanned expanse of well-toned stomach as skin was teasingly revealed by the oh-so slow removal of a dark purple shirt. The abdomen soon joined the peep show, followed by a pair of dark nipples, already perked by the strong breeze provided by the air conditioning that was aimed directly at center stage. The rest of the chest was added to the torso and with a quick tug the shirt was off, revealing-

His entire body was trembling as his eyes glued themselves to the sinful act before him as his brother grabbed the pole and began his routine.

Since when did such an innocent act become so erotic? Bringing his lips to his younger brother�s ear, Atemu spoke softly.

�Wait for me.�

�Always,� was the one thought that entered Yugi�s mind in response to the quiet demand as Atemu moved away, returning his attention to the general crowd as slaps on the back were given in congratulations to the small boy for being singled out.

Moving his backpack from his chest to his lap, the delightful pressure the bag�s weight gave caused Yugi�s lips to part as he began to pant, his heartbeat agonizingly growing more pronounced as for some unknown reason, tears began to swim in his eyes.

Did Atemu think Yugi came here willingly, wanting to see his performance? Was he angry? Disgusted? The hormones raging through his small body did not help Yugi in the least as he ducked his head not only to hide this sudden onslaught of emotions, but to keep him from watching his older brother.

God, he was so hard.

Yugi continued to sit like that through the rest of the show, not moving even as the wild crowd shifted off to another table for the start of �Okida�s� performance.

�Hey there, kid. What�s wrong? You not enjoying yourself or something?�

Startled, Yugi glanced up to see a rather feminine-looking male standing next to him, dressed in simple jeans and a long-sleeved shirt that hung off his shoulders.

�I-�

�Don�t worry about him, Kazuya. He�s with me.�

Yugi nearly leapt out of his skin at the sound of Atemu�s voice as the older �and now fully dressed - teen approached the table.

�Oh, alright. Hey, thanks for covering for Otog � I mean Duke tonight. I know it means a lot to him,� Kazuya said as he smiled softly.

�Yeah, I�m sure he sent you here to see if I actually went through with it,� Atemu teased.

�Well, that and to take pictures if you did,� Kazuya grinned, holding up a small disposable camera. �Ja ne!� And with that he practically skipped off, making a quick exit.

Chuckling, Yugi was sure he heard his older brother mention something about Otogi being a dead man as he slid into the seat next to him.

�Atem-� Yugi found himself silenced by a long finger placed upon his lips.

�While I�m here its �Yami�, little one,� Atemu replied seriously before removing the appendage so his brother could continue.

�Yami�� Yugi repeated softly, getting used to the name.

Atemu smiled at the blush that lit his brother�s cheeks as well as the backpack that was desperately being clutched in the boy�s lap, but decided not to comment on it�quite yet.

�Yami, what�why�I thought you worked at a Host Club?�

�I do. One of my coworkers happens to work part-time here as well and couldn�t make it in today, and asked me to come in and cover his slots for the night. And since I can always use the money...�

�Oh��

�Yeah. Do me a favor and don�t tell Grandpa. I�m not sure his heart will be able to handle such a shock.�

�I don�t think mine will either,� Yugi said, attempting a smile.

Laughing softly, Atemu shook his head. �So, why are you here? Is there something you�re not telling me?�

The grip on the bag tightened.

�I-I don�t normally come here! I mean, I never come here! I didn�t even know this place existed, Yami, I swear! And if I did, I never would have come here regardless because I�m not�well�not really�but if I had known you were performing today, I definitely would have gone home or something, but there were-�

�Yugi, you�re rambling.�

A pause.

�I�I didn�t mean to watch you like that,� Yugi said in a voice that was barely above a whisper.

�Now why would you be ashamed of such a thing?� Atemu asked teasingly. �Unless you mean to tell me that you actually enjoyed my little show more than you should have��

The uncomfortable shifting answered in volumes.

Coming to a decision, Atemu stood. �Yugi, come with me.�

Looking up sharply, Yugi�s eyes were wide with fear. �Why? Where are we going?�

�Don�t worry, it�s nothing bad,� Atemu reassured, casually throwing his arm around his younger brother as he stood, pretending to not notice the odd gait as the boy was forced to walk with a raging boner.

Yugi was scared. He had no idea what was going on as Atemu led him through one of the doors he had spotted earlier, which led to a long corridor that reminded him of a hotel with the many doors lining its walls.

�Yami, what�?�

�We�re just going somewhere a little more private,� Atemu answered, stopping before one of the doors and pushing it open.

Yugi entered only to stop in shock at the sight of the room�s furniture. A table, a chair, a nightstand with a single drawer, and a very large bed.

Ignoring the smaller teen�s reaction, Atemu shut and locked the door before going to sit in the chair.

�Yugi, you do realize you have nothing to be ashamed of by watching me,� Atemu began patiently. �I�m sure it was a pretty jarring sight.�

His bag still clutched before his hips, Yugi nervously shifted from foot to foot. �Err�yeah, I-I guess.�

Blushing as crimson eyes examined him, Yugi shifted his attention to the wall above the bed, noticing the wallpaper had worn away behind where the bedposts stood.

�May I see you backpack?�

�What?! Why?!� Yugi asked sharply, his eyes flying back to his older brother who was still sitting calmly in the chair.

�So I can put it on the table,� was the simple answer.

�N-no thanks. I�d rather hold onto it if you don�t mind.�

Atemu sighed. �Yugi, come here.�

Silence hung through the air as Yugi reluctantly shifted forward.

Spreading his arms open in invitation, Atemu motioned for the younger boy to come sit in his lap, something that the both of them were quite used to.

Once Yugi was sitting - albeit stiffly - in his older brother�s lap, Atemu wrapped his arms around the smaller form in a hug, his chin resting on Yugi�s shoulder.

�Yugi,� he tried again, �may I please see your bag?�

The grip on the bag once again tightened. �No.�

Atemu moved his hand down to hold the end of the bag. �Please?�

This time his answer was in the form of a furiously shaking of the head.

Atemu frowned. Yugi was close to hyperventilating and the last thing he wanted was to push his brother into a panic attack.

�Why can�t I see your bag?� Atemu asked, letting go of the backpack.

�I...I don�t want you to hate me.�

Atemu chuckled at this, placing a soft kiss on Yugi�s neck. �Hikari, I could never hate you. If anything, I believe it�s only possible for me to love you more.�

The statement caused the desired affect he had hoped for, and Atemu pulled the bag away from Yugi�s lap to reveal the prominent bulge.

�Is this all you were trying to hide from me?� he asked, placing a series of small kisses from Yugi�s ear to his shoulder.

�It hurts,� Yugi said softly.

Not wasting any time, Atemu slid his hand from Yugi�s waist to his erection, rubbing it softly through the cloth covering it.

�Does this help?�

A soft whimper.

End Note: For the record, I have never been to a gay strip club, or any strip club in general. However, I did have a friend who was once a stripper and she told me that some places do allow amateurs to fill in slots as well as closed off areas where patrons can receive private shows and lap dances. The private bedrooms are, however, an obvious stretch of my imagination. ^_^
