Joey lifted his hand to knock at the door, then lowered it again, chewing nervously on his lower lip. 'Why am I doin' this? Why am I even thinkin' of doin' this?' He glanced to the side and was hit with Mokuba's worried gaze. 'Oh yeah. That's why. Man, those eyes of his should be illegal.' Steeling himself with a deep breath, Joey knocked on the door. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Mokuba ducking back into his own room. 'Can't say I blame him.'
The door opened.
"Mokuba, I told you I am fi..." Seto bit off his last word, staring in shock at the last person he had ever expected to see in his mansion, especially outside his bedroom door. "Wheeler! What are you...?" His eyes narrowed and his voice lowered to an angered hiss. "What do I pay those incompetent guards for? Get out or I'll call security!"
Joey sighed. He'd rehearsed his speech for this moment on the way over until he'd had it smooth as silk but now, faced with the sight of a rumpled, tousled and overly pale Seto Kaiba wearing his trenchcoat done up, all thoughts of his speech flew from his mind. Instead, he said the first thing he thought of. "Kaiba... ya look like shit."
Seto's eyebrows vanished into his hair as he stared at the blonde in disbelief. "Excuse me?"
"I said ya look like shit." Joey crossed his arms and adjusted his stance, settling in for a long argument.
Seto's eyes narrowed. "Well pardon me for not maintaining the same standards of dress that you do. Oh, wait, you do not *have* any standards." He started to shut the door. "Do not touch anything on your way out. I do not want to have to fumigate this whole house. Although it is probably already too late for that."
Joey moved quickly. Before Seto knew what was happening, the blonde teen had his foot wedged in the door so the brunette couldn't close it completely. "Hang on, Kaiba. Hear me out. I'm here to help."
Seto's glare could have melted the polar icecap. "As if I need any help from you! I have no idea what made you think you could just intrude into my private sanctum and get away with it, but I assure you..." He broke off as he realised that Joey's attention was not on his face, but somewhere considerably lower. "Wheeler..."
Joey's attention was distracted by the low warning growl. He looked up, his warm honey eyes meeting Kaiba's icy azure ones. The humour of the situation suddenly got to him and he couldn't resist. "Hey Kaiba... is that a gun in your trenchcoat or are ya just real happy to see me?"
Shock silenced Seto's voice for a minute and Joey took full advantage of it. "Here I always thought you had a fan down there, flarin' it out. But now that I have a good look, it's obvious what's really doin' it."
He tried to keep his voice even, but it sounded decidingly husky to his ears. Surely Seto heard it too. Joey knew he had to act fast, if he wanted to keep Seto unbalanced. It was the only way he'd have even a chance of doing what he needed to do.
Joey moved forward. By the time Seto's shock faded enough for him to realise what the blonde was doing, it was too late. Joey was inside and had already locked the door, palming the key.
"Wheeler! What do you think you are doing? Get out of my room immediately!" Seto's eyes blazed with anger as he took a threatening step towards Joey, but the blonde's reaction was not at all what he expected.
"Mokuba's worried about ya."
Joey's calm words fell on Seto like a bucket of ice water, startling him out of his rage and back into clear, reasoning thought. He stood still, crossing his arms and glaring at the irritating blonde. "He brought you here."
"That's right." Joey sighed and ran a hand through his already unruly mop of hair. "Mokuba thinks ya need my help."
Seto's lip curled into a sneer. "Why on Earth would my reasonably intelligent younger brother possibly believe something so absurd?"
Joey shrugged. "Just because it's a fancy house, doesn't mean the walls are any thicker than normal." He got just a hint of satisfaction from the look of dawning realisation, followed swiftly by shocked horror, on the other boy's face.
Seto fought against his rising panic. Mokuba knew. He had told Wheeler, of all people! But why? He tried to think, but the workings of his brother's mind were a mystery to him on occasion and this was apparently one of those times. He forced himself to calm down and glared at Joey. "How does Mokuba think you could possibly help me?"
Again, Joey shrugged. "Look, Kaiba, I don't like this any more than you. I'm just here 'cause Mokuba said ya needed help. He's been hearin' ya in here and it's scarin' him. He just wants to know what's goin' on. He's convinced someone's slipped ya somethin' as a plot against Kaiba Corp." He shook his head. "I swear, the kid's almost as paranoid as you."
Things were starting to make a disturbing sort of sense. Seto sighed. "I will ask again, since your babbling did not answer my question in the slightest. How does Mokuba think you could possibly help me?"
Joey looked steadily at Seto. Time to sink or swim. He just hoped Mokuba was right about Kaiba's feelings, otherwise this would hurt. "Mokuba thinks ya need a hand, in more ways than one."
"Leave the premises immediately or I will have my security guards throw you out!" If it was not for the way his shaft hardened at just the thought of Wheeler giving him 'a hand', Seto might have found the idea amusing. As it was, he hoped the blonde didn't notice the slight huskiness in his voice.
"I guess Mokuba was wrong then." Joey sighed; trying not to let his disappointment show as he slowly turned around to unlock the door. He'd tried and he'd failed. Mokuba would be upset with him for not trying harder, but it was better than putting himself through this anymore.
Seto frowned. "Wrong about what?" He refused to admit that he was surprised over how easily Joey was giving up. He had always thought the blonde more tenacious than that.
Joey turned his head, looking at Seto over his shoulder. "He said you kept screamin' my name."
Shock ran through Seto's body, shivering down his spine and pooling in a cold, hard lump in the pit of his stomach. "What? I did no such thing!" Even as he said it, he wondered if it was true.
"Yeah." Joey nodded and sighed. "I guess he really played me." He gasped as he suddenly found himself being pulled around to face Seto. A very angry and glaring Seto.
"Mokuba does not lie!"
The words seemed to hang in the air between them, frozen in the stillness that followed Seto's outburst. It was hard to tell which of the two teens was more surprised by it, but Joey was the first to recover.
"So ya did scream my name." Joey wanted to take back the words as soon as he said them, but all he could do was wince and hope that Kaiba would at least make his death a merciful one.
"I... do not know."
The quiet voice, filled with uncertainty, struck Joey harder than any punch Seto could have given him.
"What do ya mean, ya don't know? How can ya not know if you scream someone's name or not?" Joey eyed Kaiba warily as the brunette released him and moved away, keeping his back to him.
"I do not have to explain myself to anyone. Least of all you!" Although the words were pure Seto Kaiba, the voice lacked his usual arrogance. "Why are you still here? I have told you to get out more than once! Leave!"
Although he wasn't sure it was a good idea to push Kaiba any further; Joey couldn't leave things as they were. Seeing the brunette like this... He now understood Mokuba's concern. "Answer me one thing first, then I'll go." He ignored Kaiba's growl.
"Fine! Ask your question and then get out."
"What's going on?" Joey asked the question that had been burning in his mind ever since Seto had opened the door.
"None of your business. There. You asked, I answered. Now get out of my house, before I have you thrown out!" Seto whirled around, glaring at the blonde who had dared to ask him something so insolent.
Joey sighed. He wasn't at all surprised by Kaiba's reply. "You're so predictable, Kaiba. I knew ya wouldn't give me a proper answer. I would have been surprised if ya had."
Seto arched an eyebrow. "Then why bother asking? Stop wasting my time." He sneered. "But then, that is all you ever do."
"I waste your time, huh? Nah. You do that all by yourself, Kaiba." Joey leaned back against the door and looked thoughtful. "You don't have to talk to me. No reason why ya couldn't just ignore me. Sometimes ya do. But not often. It's like ya can't resist gettin' in a dig at me or arguin' with me. Even now, you've threatened to call security a couple of times, but we're still talkin'."
Seto's eyes narrowed. "Well that is quickly corrected." He turned and started towards the bedside table.
"I'm not doin' this for you. I'm doin' it for Mokuba." Joey spoke quietly, but he knew he'd been heard when Kaiba stopped. "Look, I can understand why ya don't want to tell me anythin', but he's your brother. At least tell him."
"There is nothing to tell. Everything is fine." There was something off with Seto's voice.
"You tryin' to convince me, or yourself?" Joey didn't flinch as his comment earned him a glare from the brunette. He shrugged. "I know something's wrong. You might be able to fool yourself, but ya can't fool me. Mokuba said you've been in here, moanin' and screamin' since yesterday. That's not normal."
Seto tensed, his eyes narrowing. "That is only your opinion."
Joey frowned, surprised by the reply. "Kaiba..." He hesitated, really not wanting to say what he was about to. But considering all that Mokuba had told him, it probably was fair for him to share something in return. "The longest I've ever done it for is ten hours. I was so sore after that, I couldn't get it up for days. If you're not hurtin' at all, then call the papers 'cause you've probably broken some sort of record."
Seto looked rather dazed. "A... record?" He shook his head to rid himself of the rather disturbing image of himself on the front of the paper, being awarded a medal that was being hung around his bare shaft. Just the mental image of his shaft was enough to make him ache. "No, no record." He wasn't aware he'd said it aloud until Joey replied.
"So you're hurtin' then. No wonder you're..." Joey trailed off, shaking his head. "Never mind."
A glacial gaze was the blonde's reward. "Never mind, what?" Seto's voice was a dangerously low growl.
Joey shrugged. "Well, I was gonna say it was no wonder you're so irritable today, but then I realised that you're like this every day."
Seto closed his eyes and shook his head. "If I have to listen to your inane chatter for much longer, I shall be more than 'irritable', I assure you." He started to turn back to the bedside table and the button to call security.
"No need to call 'em. I'll go. But don't forget that Mokuba's worried. At least have the decency to tell him what's goin' on." Joey frowned. "Although, I'm startin' to wonder if he doesn't know already. I thought his sex drug idea was pretty hard to believe, but seein' ya like this..." He shook his head and turned towards the door.
"Wheeler." A single word, but it had the power to make Joey turn back to the brunette who spoke it, against his will.
"What?" For the second time, warm honey locked with icy azure.
"If you say a word to anyone about this... I mean *anyone*..." He trailed off, allowing his glare to provide the rest of his meaning.
Joey scowled at him. "As if I would! The only one I'll be talkin' to is Mokuba and he already knows."
He sighed, his anger fading as he remembered the look in the boy's face. "He's worried about ya, Kaiba. But I guess you're too much of a jerk to care." The look he gave the brunette was one of disgust and contempt. "I came here hopin' I could at least get ya to tell him what was wrong, but ya won't, will ya? You're too stubborn. Too sure ya don't need anyone else's help, even when you're hurtin' and it's obvious that whatever's happened is out of your control. Oh, sorry, I forgot. Nothing's ever out of your control, is it Kaiba? See ya." He unlocked the door and went outside again, slamming it shut behind him.
He leaned back against the door, closed his eyes and sighed heavily. "Well that could have gone better."
The next instant, the door behind him opened in a rush. Joey cried out in alarm as he felt himself falling backward. He hit something on the way down and ended up with his lower half on the floor and his upper half cushioned by something that was both soft and firm at the same time. Something very hard was digging into his lower back.
It took him a moment to realise that his 'cushion' was groaning.
"Oh man, Kaiba!" Joey started to sit up, growing quite alarmed as the brunette's groans grew louder. Then a pair of arms wrapped around him, holding him close and a pained voice came from behind him.
"Stay... still."
Joey froze, his mind going into overdrive as he realised what was going on and, more importantly, what was digging into his back. He felt the heat rise into his cheeks and his throat went dry as he felt it harden even more. It wasn't easy to tell exactly just from the feel of it, but Joey knew it was large. Very large.
Seto groaned again, snapping Joey out of his thoughts. The blonde tried to speak, failed and tried again. The second time he managed a soft whisper. "I'm sorry. The door opened so fast, I couldn't stop myself fallin'." Surely it was his imagination that the arms holding him tightened just a little.
"I knew you were just outside. I had not heard you walk away. I should have guessed you would be in the most inconvenient location possible." The pain in his voice made Seto's words rather ineffective as an insult.
Joey bit his lip. "If I move slow..."
"No!" Seto's body moved slightly with the force of his reply, causing the brunette to groan in pain. "I mean..." He paused, his breathing heavy as he fought against the mix of pleasure and pain in his lower body.
"Kaiba... what's goin' on?" Joey's voice was very soft. "Don't tell me nothin'. I came here for Mokuba but... that doesn't mean I don't... That I'm not..." He sighed. "I'm worried about ya, okay? There, I admitted it. Go ahead and laugh." Although he spoke with his usual cockiness, Joey braced himself for Kaiba to do just that. Laugh.
"Wheeler..." Seto's voice was barely a whisper. "You have the worst timing imaginable."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Joey was annoyed. He'd just... well not bared his heart exactly - but he'd come closer than he had intended to - and that was all Kaiba had to say to him? He turned his head, trying to angle it so he could see the other teen's face. His body moved just a little as he did so.
It was only a small movement, but it was enough.
"No! Stay... ahhhhhhh!" Seto gasped, his body trembling, then jerking as his aching shaft finally did what it had been threatening to do ever since he had opened the door and found Joey standing there. As he found his release, Seto's head went back, his body tensed and he cried out in his pleasure.
As Seto instinctively moved his arms to support the weight of his body, Joey saw his chance. Free of the restraint of the brunette's hold, he moved quickly, sitting up. He turned to see what was happening and froze, his eyes locked on the most incredible sight he had ever seen.
Seto Kaiba was lying on the floor, his back arched and his body trembling with the force of his passion. His head was tilted back, the pale column of his throat temptingly exposed. His eyes were closed and the look on his face was a mix of pleasure and torment that made Joey feel very uneasy. Every muscle in Seto's body was tense, but there was one part of him that was more than that.
Seeing the way the trenchcoat tented at the front made Joey's mouth go dry again. He licked his lips and then went still as he realised what he had just done, and what the image in his mind had been when he'd done it. Biting back a moan, Joey forced the image away and focused on Kaiba again.
As his release ebbed, Seto slumped back onto the floor. He lay there, his eyes closed, making no effort to move. If it wasn't for the colour in his cheeks, Joey might have thought he'd passed out. "Kaiba? You all right?"
"Get out."
Joey thought he'd imagined the whisper at first, but when it was repeated, annoyance surged within him. He scowled. "Listen, Kaiba..." The scathing insult he had intended to say vanished from his mind as he noticed something that struck him as being wrong. "You're still hard."
"Wheeler..."
Joey shook his head and looked at Kaiba. "No. Hear me out. You've been at this for hours, right? I just saw you come so hard I thought you were gonna pass out, but you're still hard. That ain't right, Kaiba."
"Neither is your grammar." Seto's voice was still little more than a whisper.
The blonde was about to argue when it struck him. "You just agreed with me."
"An aberration, I assure you. It shall not happen again. Now get out." There was no heat in the words, only irritation.
Joey studied the brunette closely, noting the pallor of his face, a sharp contrast to the colour highlighting his cheeks, and the way he was just lying there - making no attempt to rise. There were also lines of strain on his forehead, the ones he got whenever he was faced with some sort of problem.
The blonde knew those lines well. He'd seen them a few times, usually right before an announcement was made about Kaiba Corp. taking over some big company, staging some tournament or releasing some hot new game technology. He remembered what Mokuba had said about the merger Kaiba was working on, but Joey had a feeling these lines were connected more to whatever physical problem the brunette was facing.
It looked as if Seto had finally reached the limit of his physical endurance. If he was right, there might be a chance. It was a risky gamble, but Joey knew he had to take it. "I'll give ya a choice, Kaiba. Either tell me what's wrong and let me help ya, or I'll go."
Seto managed a slight smile. "Not much of a choice. I have been telling you to leave since you arrived."
Joey smiled and went in for the kill. "If I go, I'll tell Mokuba that you collapsed in here. I'll also take the key with me. How long do ya think it will take him to get ya into hospital? Probably not as long as it will take the papers to report that you're ill. Now those would be interesting headlines, huh?"
Seto's eyes flew open and he looked at the blonde in horror. He could well imagine the headlines. 'Seto Kaiba, CEO of Kaiba Corp. Hospitalised for Excessive Masturbation.' He still had strength enough to shudder at the thought.
Narrowing his eyes, Seto glared at his blackmailer. "It seems I have underestimated you. Fine. I shall tell you."
