Shizuka was sitting in her room as she had just gotten out of the hospital not a week ago. She was so happy when Katsuya came and told her that he finally had the money for her surgery. She was finally going to be able to see. Nothing had made her happier and she wanted the first thing she saw to be her older brother that had worked so hard for her. However something felt different to her especially when she would hug Katsuya.

Things didn't feel the same anymore, she felt like her whole body was tingling and she had this warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach at first she just wrote it off as nerves. Though after those bandages were removed and she saw Katsuya for the first time, she knew that she felt something more than just sisterly towards Katsuya. She didn't know what to think at first, so she thought it best just to ignore the feelings and they would go away. However she was gravely mistaken when she saw Katsuya bring over a girl, a very pretty girl at that, whom she had never seen before, to their house one day after school.

At first she tried to ignore everything, after all having feelings for her older brother was just wrong. He was the only one that had always been there for her through everything. It was only natural for her to develop these feelings, right? After all Katsuya was her everything and she would do whatever it took to stay close to him.

However as time went on she found out that the woman’s name was Mai. She seemed nice enough; she even gave her a ride home one day after school. Katsuya had gone to Yuugi's grandfather's shop for dueling or whatever. Katsuya was working on a new deck that he really wanted to try against Yuugi. She understood, after all Katsuya had done everything for her and she liked Yuugi.

Mai dropped her off and offered to stay with Shizuka till Katsuya got home. Shizuka was actually okay with this as it would give her a chance to talk to Mai. They sat down on the couch together and this just happened to be another time that her nervousness kicked in. She didn't want to sound childish or immature to this obviously older woman.

However she had never had a crush on anyone before. Now not only did she love her brother in a way she shouldn't but she really liked her brother's girlfriend. She was jealous of Mai; after all she could be with Katsuya. But that didn't matter she really liked Mai and this was a way for her to stay close to them both.

Mai could tell the girl was nervous about something. The more she thought about it, it made sense to her. However she never expected to have been crushed on her boyfriend’s sister. She thought it was cute and she was no stranger to lesbian or bisexual relationships. She looked at Shizuka and smiled "Tell me what's on your mind honey?" She asked as she brought out her deck.

Shizuka was taken back a bit. Was she really that obvious that something was bothering her? She blushed slightly as she shook her head "No really it's nothing for you to be worried about." she said quietly while blushing and turning away looking out the window. Mai smirked as she spread out her deck on the table "Come now sugar, it's obvious something's bothering you", she said as she turned at looked at Shizuka.

Shizuka wasn't looking at her; she was far to embarrassed to. She gulped quietly as she tried to calm herself which only worked for so long before Mai turned her head towards her. Shizuka's face was scarlet red and Mai giggled "You know sugar it would seem you have a crush on me with the way you're acting." she said letting go Shizuka’s face. Shizuka shook her head "No that's not it I just… I… I", Mai smiled as she leaned in and kissed Shizuka.

Shizuka was shocked as Mai kissed her. Her body was screaming to keep going, she really wanted this. However her mind was also confused though in the end she gave in and kissed Mai back. She wrapped her arms around Mai's neck. Mai smirked into the kiss and wrapped hers around Shizuka’s waist. They were both so into the kiss that neither one of them heard the door open and close.

They were only broken apart by Joey clearing his throat "Well I go to Yuugi's for dueling and come home to my two favorite girls making out. Ngh it must be Christmas early", he said crossing the room and sitting on the couch between the two of them. Shizuka's face was scarlet red again as she jumped to the other end of the couch quickly "B-brother! I'm… I'm sorry I didn't mean… to I-", she stuttered out until Katsuya leaned in and held her close to him before kissing her.

Shizuka almost fainted as Mai just smiled. "I knew you liked him sugar", she said as Katsuya pulled away and goofily smiled at Shizuka. She didn't know how to react she was just kissed by the guy she loved, and her brother no less. She was in shock but she was not about to lose the guy she loved. She blushed as she looked at Katsuya. "I'm…I'm confused brother… I… I didn’t know how to tell you. I didn't know…” she said fumbling with her words.

Katsuya smiled at her again holding Mai in one arm "Don't worry about it Shizuka. You see I love you as much as you love me. You like Mai she likes you, she loves me and I love her there's no reason we can’t all be together." he said putting his arm around Shizuka bringing her close to him. She blushed as she nodded, "I'm glad, cause I don’t want to lose either of you". Katsuya and Mai laughed quietly at this "We don’t want to lose you either", they said as Katsuya held Shizuka’s hand. "My two favorite girls, I can't say how excited this makes me", he said kissing the forehead of both his loves. Shizuka was so happy, she just had the best day of her life and things could only stand to get better from here.
