Chapter Forty-three
“All right,
class, when I call out your name, I want you to tell me what you plan to do
during the talent show,” says Sensei. She turns her eyes to Seto and adds, “And
remember, this is mandatory. You will not graduate without participating.”
The entire
class moans at that prospect.
“Mr.
Bakura?” asks Sensei.
Ryou smiles
weakly. “Um… I was planning on… um, weapons demonstration?”
Yugi gasps
and stares at Ryou with wide eyes. “You can’t be serious!”
“I agree
with Mr. Motou. You cannot do a weapons demonstration. You will have to think
of something else. We’ll come back to you,” says Sensei.
Ryou
glances around at his classmates.
“Miss
Eido?” asks Sensei.
“Piano
solo. Mozart’s final piece,” says the girl not even bothering to look at the
teacher who writes down the response on her clipboard.
“Mr.
Hanasaki?” asks Sensei.
The boy
pushes his glasses up further on his face and says, “I’m going to run and
hide.”
“Unfortunately
your best talent, Hanasaki. Miss Hirigashi?” asks Sensei.
“I’m going
to exorcise the school ghost,” says the brunet girl flipping through a book of
counter curses on her desk.
“Very
thoughtful,” says Sensei writing down the information, “Mr. Honda?”
“I’m going
to recite a love poem I wrote for Shizuka,” says Hiroto.
“Like hell
you are!” exclaims Katsuya.
Yugi grabs
Katsuya’s jacket to keep him from jumping on Hiroto.
“Mr.
Ishtar?” asks Sensei.
“I will be
performing with Ryou! We are doing a martial arts demonstration!” exclaims
Malik smiling wickedly at the teacher, “Don’t worry, neither one of us will be
hurt!”
“Mr. Jonouchi?”
asks Sensei, “I presume that you will be beating someone up for your talent?”
“You’d be
wrong. I’m giving a speech,” says Katsuya casting a smug look at Sensei.
“Really?
What about? Beating people up?” asks Sensei.
Katsuya
scoffs. “How about corporate take-over? I’m trying to steal Kaiba Corp away!”
“Mr.
Kaiba?” asks Sensei, “I presume you will also be giving a speech.”
“I intend
to sing,” says Seto.
Several
people gasp, and the shy girl in the corner giggles.
“Miss
Kanzaki?” asks Sensei.
“Fortune
telling.” The girl blushes and turns her eyes back to the corner she sits near.
“Miss
Mazaki?” asks Sensei.
“Ballet,”
says Anzu simply.
“Mr.
Motou?” asks Sensei.
“I have a
game selected,” says Yugi smiling, “And I’m going to give a demonstration of
how to beat it.”
“Miss
Nosaka?” asks Sensei.
“I’m… doing
the Carmen solo,” whispers Miho blushing.
“Mr.
Otogi?” asks Sensei.
“Singing,”
says Ryuji.
“Miss
Yamagashi?” asks Sensei.
“I’m giving
my stand-up act!” exclaims the girl happily.
“Miss Yukimora?”
asks Sensei.
“I’m acting
out the death scene of Juliet from Romeo and Juliet,” says the brown haired
girl flicking her hair over her shoulder.
“Very
well,” says Sensei making the last note, “The talent show begins at seven on
Friday, so you all need to be there by six-thirty to check in! Understood?”
“Yes,
Sensei!” exclaim the students in a bored voice.
Sensei nods
her approval and continues on with the day’s lecture.
* * *
“So, Seto,”
says Katsuya sitting across from the stoic brunet at the dinner table.
“What,
Katsuya?” replies Seto glancing up at the blond.
“Do you
have any ideas about the song you’ll sing?” asks Katsuya.
Seto sighs.
“No, not really.”
Katsuya
smiles mischievously.
“I don’t
like that look! What are you thinking, puppy?” asks Seto.
“Would you
like some suggestions?” asks Katsuya.
“Fine…
let’s go sit in the study,” says Seto.
Katsuya
jumps up from his seat, grabs his half-empty glass, and runs towards the study.
Seto stands
up and heads to the study at a slower pace with his own drink in his hand. He
grabs a pen and a notepad before sitting on the couch beside Katsuya. “Okay,
what do you suggest?”
“How about Super
Trouper?”
Seto writes
the name down before he stops. “What?”
“Haven’t
you heard it?” replies Katsuya looking at him aghast.
“No… sing a
few lines,” says Seto.
“And it’s
gonna be so different when I’m on the stage tonight. Tonight the super trouper
lights are gonna find me, shining like the sun, smiling, having fun, feeling
like a number one,” sings Katsuya, “Tonight the super trouper beams are gonna
blind me, but I won’t feel blue like I always do cause somewhere in the crowd
there’s you.”
Seto
laughs. When he sees the hurt look on the other’s face, he tries to hold back
his laughter. “I’m sorry, Katsuya! It’s just that song! Not my type!”
Katsuya
smiles. “How about one that is your type then! Number One!”
Seto takes
a deep breath to calm his laughter and nods his head to Katsuya as he writes
down the name.
“I… am…
number one… no matter if you like it. Here take it, sit down and write it. I…
am… number one. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey… now let me ask you man. What does
it take to be number one?” sings Katsuya, “Two is not a winner and three nobody
remembers. Hey! What does it take to be number one? Hey, hey, hey, hey!”
“Any other
suggestions?” asks Seto smiling at Katsuya.
“Young
and Proud!” exclaims Katsuya closing his eyes. He sings, “No matter what
you say. No matter what you do. We are united. Young and proud. Young and
proud. We’re on the same side of destiny… on the same side of destiny.”
Seto writes
down the idea. “You have a great singing voice. You probably should be the one
singing up there, but I want to see everyone’s face when you give my speech!”
“And I want
to hear you sing in front of that many people!” exclaims Katsuya. He lifts his
glass and takes a drink. “Oh, hey, what about It Wasn’t Me?”
“It
Wasn’t Me?” asks Seto.
“Honey came
in and she caught me red-handed creeping with the girl next door,” sings
Katsuya, “Picture this, we were both butt naked bangin’ on the bathroom floor.”
‘What a
beautiful image… Katsuya and I butt naked banging on the bathroom floor,’
thinks Seto.
“How could
I forget that I had given her an extra key? All this time she was standing
there,” sings Katsuya, “She never took her eyes off me.”
Seto
smiles. “And who would I be singing that song to?”
Katsuya
shrugs. “I don’t know…”
Seto writes
down the idea.
“Joey,
Baby… don’t get crazy. Detours, fences, I get defensive,” sings Katsuya, “Joey!
You could sing that song to me! Or what about Invisible?”
Seto writes
the ideas down quickly and then listens to Katsuya’s perfect voice.
“If I was
invisible, then I could just watch you in your room. If I was invisible, I’d
make you mine tonight. If hearts were unbreakable, then I can just tell you
where I stand. I would be the smartest man, if I was invisible… Wait… I already
am!” Katsuya smiles at Seto. “Why don’t you give me the paper and I’ll write
down a few suggestions. Then I can sing them if you want.”
“Okay.”
Seto passes the notepad and his pen to Katsuya and watches the blond try to
clearly write down the names of several songs.
Katsuya
passes the notepad back to Seto.
“Um…
interesting choices. You want to sing them now?” asks Seto, “I mean… why would you
suggest Somebody?”
“It’s a
nice romantic song and the girls will all swoon if you sing that one!” exclaims
Katsuya. He takes a small sip of his drink before singing, “Somebody in the
next car, somebody on the morning train, somebody in the coffee shop that you
walk right by everyday. Somebody that you look at but never really see.
Somewhere out there is somebody.”
Seto pulls
Katsuya towards him and presses their lips together. “You’re somebody…”
“So are
you,” whispers Katsuya blushing, “How about one of my favorite songs? Remember
Me This Way.”
“I love
that song,” whispers Seto holding Katsuya close to him, “Please sing it for
me.”
“I’ll make
a wish for you and hope it will come true that life will just be kind to such a
gentle mind,” sings Katsuya softly cuddling up to Seto, “If you lose your way,
think back on yesterday. Remember me this way. Remember me this way.”
“Now… Ordinary,”
whispers Seto. He watches Katsuya’s lips as they move to form the words of the
song.
“Whose eyes
am I behind? I don’t recognize anything that I see. Whose skin is this design?
I don’t want this to be the way that you see me,” sings Katsuya, “I don’t
understand anything anymore and this web that I’m tied up is taking me right up
these walls that I climb up to get to your story. It’s anything but ordinary.”
“You could
be famous with a voice like that,” says Seto.
“Yeah,
right! Only if Kaiba Corp decided to put my music into one of the duel disks!”
exclaims Katsuya moving away from Seto and standing, “Now! If You’re Not the
One is another of those love songs that would do wonders for the audience
with your voice backing it!”
“I don’t
know if I want to do a love song though,” says Seto.
Katsuya
rolls his eyes. “If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today? If
you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way? If you are not
mine then why does your heart return my call? If you are not mine would I have
the strength to stand at all?”
“So is this
Crash and Burn also a love song?” asks Seto skeptically.
“It’s more
of an… if you need help, don’t give up because there’s someone who can help…
song,” explains Katsuya.
“Oh, it’s
all that? Why don’t you prove it if you can?” asks Seto smirking at Katsuya.
“Let me be
the one you call. If you jump I’ll break your fall, lift you up and fly away
with you into the night. If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart.
If you need to crash then crash and burn, you’re not alone,” sings Katsuya. He
pauses. “I think that last song on there would be your best option.”
Seto looks
at the list. “Brother my Brother. Mokuba.”
“Brother my
brother, tell me what are we fighting for? Isn’t life worth so much more? We
should love one another. Oh can’t we just pretend this war never began?” sings
Katsuya spinning around in a circle as the melody passes his lips, “Tell me
why, brother my brother…”
“Thank you,
Katsuya,” says Seto, “I’ll think about all these songs. I want to sing
something that really means something to me. These are great song selections,
but I don’t know if they truly capture what’s in my heart!”
“Hey, no
worries! These are just some ideas for you!” exclaims Katsuya.
“I think
I’ll sleep on it tonight. Maybe tomorrow I will have a better idea of what song
I want to sing,” says Seto, “Anyways, it is getting late. You should go to
bed.”
Katsuya
nods. “Good night, Seto.”
“Good
night, Katsuya,” says Seto standing up and tucking his notepad into his pocket.
He turns and walks out of the study to go to his room to sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~Seto’s~Dream~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Come on,” whines Priest
Seth, “I am ready for round two!”
“All
right! All right!” groans Jou before yawning, “I’m awake!”
“And you
called Katsuya insatiable!” exclaims Kaiba chuckling.
Priest
Seth blushes.
“How did
you want this to work, Seth?” asks Kaiba crossing his arms over his chest.
“Tsuyaka…
I’m sorry, Katsuya… On your hands and knees. I want to take you animal-style,”
says Priest Seth.
Jou
blushes with embarrassment, but he does as commanded and gets down onto his
hands and knees.
Priest
Seth pushes Kaiba to stand right in front of Jou and he grabs his incarnation’s
erection. “Open up, Katsuya.”
Jou
opens his mouth and takes as much of Kaiba’s cock into it as he can.
Priest
Seth walks around behind Jou and presses into the tight ring of muscle. “This
is how I want it.”
“How
will Katsuya be satisfied?” asks Kaiba as Jou starts to suckle him.
“We can
satisfy him together once we are sated,” says Priest Seth. He starts to thrust
in and out, forcing Jou’s entire body to rock with the force and impale himself
on Kaiba’s cock.
“That
isn’t fair to Katsuya,” says Kaiba angrily.
Priest
Seth pulls Kaiba’s head towards his own and kisses the angered lips with an
unknown fury as they lean over Jou and thrust their bodies in tandem.
It
doesn’t take long for all three to once again find their happiness through each
other’s bodies, and they curl up on the bed for another nap together.
