Ryou felt torn, he wanted to be near Joey yet to main

their relationship he had to avoid him, which was not easy. Ryou had managed to
go two days without even making eye contact with Joey and he had to avoid him
at every turn. He couldn�t risk being to close to him. Luckily Ryou only had a
few classes with him but Joey was getting more and more aggressive about wanting
to talk. He knew Joey wouldn�t understand if he tried to explain the situation,
he would want Ryou to tell his er ter the truth about their relationship�but if
he did that�His father would make him move with him every he he went on a
dig. Ryou didn�t want that kind of life. He sighed heavily as he slowly walked
home; this time Joey was avoiding him�probably angry. He shook his head and ran
straight into Seto nearly falling down, but Seto caught him before he fell.
�Thanks.� Ryou said softly pulling away from Seto
�Don�t mention it�what happened yesterday?� Seto asked
�Yesterday?� Ryou questioned
�We were supposed to do something, remember?� Seto said
�Oh! I�m so sorry I forgot! I�ve been really busy lately
with my father and�� Ryou began.
Seto interrupted Ryou �And avoiding Joey.� Seto said.
�How did you know that I was avoiding him?� Ryou asked
�Joey called me thinking that I had done something to you to
make you avoid him, which I haven�t so I thought I go straight to the source to
find out.� Seto said �Joey should have just asked you instead of blaming me.�
Seto said irritated.
�He probably would have if I would give him time too.� Ryou
said softly looking at the ground. �I cant risk us being seen together�not
until my father leaves.� Ryou said
�What�s your father got to do with it?� Seto asked
�If he knew about me and Joey�I would probably be moving, he
would never understand me being with Joey and if there was another way I would
take that road�but this is the only way to keep the relationship�even if it is
damaging it.� Ryou said
�Have you told Joey this?� Seto asked
�No, I�ll tell him once my father leaves.� Ryou said
�Why not at school?� Seto asked
�That�s not the type of matter I really want to broadcast�I
want to discuss it privately in my home. Where we can hopefully discuss the
matter calmly.� Ryou said
�I don't think you�ll get that chance, Joey is pretty pissed
off.� Seto said
�I know�but there is really nothing I can do.� Ryou said
�How about you and Joey meet at my place?� Seto said almost
choking
Ryou looked at him wide eyed. Did Ryou just hear him right?
Even after how strongly he feels for Ryou he wants to help mend the
relationship between him and Joey. Ryou smiled softly at him but shook his head
no.
�I can�t do that Seto.� Ryou said
�Why? You need too.� Seto pushed even though he didn�t want
to.
�I can�t do that to you Seto�besides I need to fix this on
my own. You know Joey would never meet at your place anyway�even if it was to
meet me.� Ryou said
Seto sighed knowing he was right. �Do you think we could
maybe still spend some time together?� Seto asked hopefully
�Sure, but let me call you. I don�t know when all this is
going to be over.� Ryou said
Seto knew Ryou wouldn�t appreciate it but he leaned over and
gently kissed Ryou on the cheek, before walking away from a stunned Ryou.

The week went by tediously slow for Ryou. Soon I can talk to
Joey and explain all this to him, he will understand, Ryou thimshimself�he has
to. Ryou waved goodbye to his father as then walked upstairs into to his room
and sighed happily. Bakura walked up behind him.
�I haven�t seen you so happy in days.� Bakura said
�Are you happy father is gone?� Ryou asked
�Greatly, I can finally stop listening to your whining about
Joey. Not to mention I can walk around the house freely too.� Bakura said
�I�m glad.� Ryou said trying to please Bakura.
�I�m going over to Malik�s for the night, what do you plan
to do?� Bakura asked
�Call Joey and speak with him.� Ryou said simply.
Bakura shook his head at his Hikari.
�I�m putting up a mental block, I�ve heard more about Joey
in the past week than I ever would care to know. I don�t need to hear him bitch
at you on top of that too.� Bakura said grabbing his coat.
�Do you think he will be angry?� Ryou asked looking at his
Yami hopefully.
�Yes�but if he truly cares for you Ryou he will let you
explain and he will understand too.� Bakura said �But don�t ask for any
pointers I�m still putting up a block.� Bakura said as he walked out the door.
Ryou smiled slightly at Bakura as he left. Bakura wasn�t
able to hit him or anything while Ryou�s father was home. But what was strange
is that he didn�t want to hit him either�he said something about a talk he and
Malik had. Ryou shrugged it off as he dialed Joey�s number.
�Hello?� Joeys father said on the other line
�H-Hi is Joey there?� Ryou asked meekly.
�No, the kid said something about going to a friends house,
Ryou I think. sai said and hung up the phone not waiting for a reply.
Ryou looked at the phone and hung it up. Joey is headed over
here? I wonder why? Ryou asked as he paced the house waiting for his arrival. I
started to get dark and Ryou put on a loose T-shirt and started to get ready
for bed. Maybe Joeys dad was wrong about Joey coming over here�maybe he heard
wrong. Ryou shrugged it off it would be better to discuss things with Joey
tomorrow anyway they would have more time. He was about to crawl into bed when
the doorbell rang. He walked away from the bed and went to answer the door to
find Joey there.
�Joey.� Ryou said calmly �What are you doing here so late?�
Ryou asked
�Can I come in?� Joey asked his voice was low and flat
Ryou looked at him concerned �Are you okay?� Ryou asked
�I�m fine�can I come in?�
He said in the same flat low voice.
�S-sure.� Ryou said moving aside �Are you sure you�re okay?�
Ryou asked
�I was about to ask you the same question Ryou.� Joey said
harshly turning his back to him. �Your behavior has been awfully strange
lately.� He said
�I tried calling you earlier but�� Joey cut Ryou off
�You think a phone call can fix this?!� he yelled
Ryou took a step back. He had seen Joey angry before even
pissed off but this was way beyond any emotion like that. He looked into Joeys
eyes it was almost as if Joey�hated him. Was that what he was seeing? Hatred?
Ryou shook his mind from that thought and answered Joey.
�No, I wanted to talk to you and�� Joey cut him off again.
�I don�t really care what you have to say right now Ryou!
I�m talking now!� He yelled, �I don�t understand you! One day we are the
happiest couple even than the next day you start cheating on me!� scr screamed
Ryou�s eyes went wide �C-cheating?� Ryou stammered �Joey I�m
not cheating on you I wouldn�t even think about��
Suddenly Ryou was on the floor his cheek stung terribly�Joey
had slapped him. Ryou fro a second wouldn�t believe his senses. No Joey wouldn�t
hurt me, Ryou said to himself. He pic picked up by the color of his T-shirt and
slammed up against the wall.
�Every single word you say is like a slap in the face to
me!� Joey spat �How do you like it?�
No�Ryou thought this isn�t happening, Joey would never do
this�Joey would never hurt me�he loves me Ryou said to himself. Joey pulled
Ryou into a bruising kiss and refused to let Ryou pull away. Ryou fought with
him, as the pressure on his wrists became unbearable. He couldn�t stand it as
he tried to call his Yami only to find their link had been blocked�Ryou had
forgotten Bakura had put one up before he left and now he had no one to call
too. Ryou fought back his tears as Joey pulled away and shoved Ryou to the
floor and laid on top of him holding him down by the wrists.
�I love you Ryou�I will make you feel it even if I have to
force it upon you.� Joey said as he ran his hands over Ryou�s body.
It suddenly dawned on Ryou what he was planning to do.
�No!� Ryou screamed as he tried to scramble away but Joey
caught him and held him down.
�I will make you feel it!� Joey screamed
�NO!� Ryou screamed as he tried to pull away from the hands
that held him firmly to the ground.

I made a cliffhanger! MWHAHAHA! How much do you hate me? I
know I put a dramatic twist on Joeys personality and also I KNOW he is not that
mean but this is my story my rules (when did I portray a character like he
truly is? Remember Yami Yugi?) It makes the story more fun this way anyway. If
you want me to write the rape part in the next chapter I will, but if you don�t
want me to say so in a review otherwise you�ll get one. PLEASE REVIEW!
