Well here is chapter 5, I hope the suspense is not killing
you or anything, I�ll try to keep up with updates well anyway ENJOY!!!

Ryou yawned, opened one of his deep chocolaty eyes, and
gasped. "Yugi!" He sat up in an instant and looked around
the room, wincing after a moment when the pain caught up with him. "Y-Yugi's gone!" He said worriedly. "Yami! Wake
up!" He said shaking the spirit
slightly.
Yami awoke to the frantic Ryou shaking him but immediately
calmed him down by holding him strongly. "Ryou...it's all right, he was
supposed to leave remember? He's doing this for you, lets not waste time."
Yami said grabbing the backpack "Can you walk?" Yami asked
Ryou shivered in the night air, and looked at the lights in
the distance, before huddling close Yami.
"I wish I had been conscious when he brought me here...� Ryou said
angry with himself. "Lets
hurry...I don�t want to be around if something goes wrong...I wish Yugi was
safe."
Yami nodded in agreement "if you get tired tell me,
I�ll carry you...I don't want you walking any more than you have to...and the
city doesn�t look to close by." Yami said taking Ryou's hand
Ryou nodded slightly.
"I'll be fine...if Yugi has to do what he has done for us to
escape...then I think I will survive a small walk." Ryou said smiling a bit and looking back
once more. "Yugi...be careful...�
he mumbled shaking his head.

Yugi gritted his teeth as he laid underneath Seto while he
allowed him to have his way. He closed his eyes, he hoped that they had already
left; if they haven�t already left he hoped they would hurry up and get as far
away as possible. He only had one chance to escape himself really and that�s
when Seto when to check on Ryou in the morning�about a ten minute window is all
he had, he hoped that he would be up for a run tomorrow morning.

Ryou walked slowly inside the hospital, feeling just a bit
faint. It had been a long walk indeed,
and being who he was, he had refused Yami's offers of carrying him. "We're here...� he said in a relieved
tone. Every part of him was sore from
the walk, thanks entirely to Seto's abuse.
Ryou wobbled slightly and leaned onto Yami to steady himself. "I don�t think I should stand anymore...�
he murmured.
Yami happily picked him up, but was gentle as he did so. He
liked holdRyouRyou but he was soon enough taken from his arms by one of the
nurses and doctors, as they rushed him to another room quickly. Yami bit his
lower lip...he should probably call Bakura, although the ancient tomb robber
might not care, he did have a right to know.
Bakura grumbled and picked up the phone. "Bakura residence." He barked, annoyed that Ryou had left on
such short notice, and hadn't even bothered to take the ring. "What do you want?" He added grouchily, list of complaints
lengthening in his head.
"I see you still answer the phone the same..."
Yami said leaning agt tht the cold tile wall annoyed already by the spirit on
the other line
Bakura groaned in annoyance. "Bite my ass pharaoh.
Why in Ra's name would you be wasting my time? I have better things to do, than listen to you." Bakura said, voice dripping with the hate he
had for the one who caused MOST of his plight.
"Give me one good reason why I should listen to your nagging
voice."
"Because Ryou is in the hospital right now...that good
enough for you? Or do you need another reason?" Yami spat he knew that
Bakura acted like he cared nothing about Ryou but when it came down to it he
would protect him...at least he hoped he would.
Bakura paused in thought.
"Why is he not in Egypt like your Hikari said?...and why is Ryou in
the hospital?!" He demanded louder
than necessary. "Tell me this
instant pharaoh!" Bakura ordered
in an enraged tone. No one but Bakura
harmed Ryou. No one.
"It's a long story, I�m not sure why Yugi lied to you...and
me and everyone else but he's not to blame really, now do you really want to
chew me out over the phone or will you graciously come over here..." Yami
paused "...he's been through a lot Bakura..." Yami felt slightly
strange for using his actual name but continued "...I'm not his Yami, I
can only protect him so much before he needs you, but by Ra I swear if you
cause him anymore problems than he has at the moment I wont hesitate to rip his
soul in half if it means getting rid of you!" Yami sighed deeply
Yami glared at the phone slightly irritated, he didn�t tell
Bakura WHICH hospital they were at, he hoped that he would come to the right
one...eventually at least as he sat down in an extremely uncomfortable chair
and waited for his arrival, no doubt he would make a scene upon coming in.

Yugi slipped out of bed quietly, grabbing some money out of
Seto's pocket and hurrying to the phone where he called a cab quickly while
Seto was in the shower he just hoped he would be in there for a while

Bakura stormed into the hospital, after searching a few
others and glared at Yami. "Why
didn't you tell me which hospital...� he grumbled, knowing it was his own fault
to begin with, but still placing partial blame on Yami. "Where is Ryou?" He said taking a few deep breaths to slow
his panting. He had just improved on
the fastest running time...surely.
"You hung up on me...keep you voice down you wanna get
us both thrown out?" Yami said in harsh whisper
Bakura glared daggers at Yami. "Where is Ryou?"
He said in an equally harsh whisper.
"What happened?! Why is he
hurt?" Bakura whispered sitting in
one of the chairs, relatively close to Yami.
"Start telling me what's been going on."
Yami gritted his teeth he didn�t want to tell the story in
all truth more than likely Bakura would explode in his face. "You have to
swear to be calm about this, and we can't see him right now, they'll tell us
when its okay." Yami said sitting back
Bakura growled.
"Tell me damnit!" He
said in an angry whisper. "I will be
calm...I can kill later. Now tell
me!" Bakura crossed his arms,
awaiting an explanation on why his Hikari had been injured.
"From what Ryou tells me he ran away from you...and
ended up in a park halfway across town basically where he met Seto. Seto basically
knocked him and and kidnapped him taking him to his summer house..." Yami
paused this was harder than he thought it would be, he didn�t want to say what
Seto had done to Ryou he still was having trouble coming to realization himself
as what had befallen Ryou and his own Hikari
Bakura nodded.
"And? That tells me where
he has been, not how he has been injured pharaoh. This is one of the FEW times I care, I think you shouldn't give
me reason to stop now." Bakura
said shaking his head a bit. "What
happened at that 'summer home'?"
There were so many people around them at that moment and
Yami didn�t really want to broadcast such a thing to everyone...and although eh
hated doing it he decide to bring up Bakura�s past "What happened to you
when you were in my dungeon? Do you remember?" Yami asked softly
Bakura glared.
"If you will not tell me, then don�t bother speaking." He growled fiercely. Someone was bound to tell him eventually,
and when he found out what had happened, he would go after Seto...worthy
punishment at hand.
"I'm trying to tell you, you arrogant bastard...think,
the guard the whip...you must remember something right" Yami pressured,
basically the same thing happened to Ryou although a guard was in place of Seto
for Bakura.
Bakura paused, glaring darkly at Yami. He did recall what had happened in that
dungeon, and it fueled his ongoing hatred for Yami. "Are you trying to tell me, what that implies...?" He growled, inches from decking the
spike-haired pharaoh, just from having to REMEMBER what had happened. Bakura had long since filed that time away,
in the back of his mind never to look upon it again. Nevertheless, more often than not, he was reminded of that
horrible incident. Reminded that the
'great pharaoh' had done nothing what so ever when he had found out. Reminded that the arrogant crimson-eyed
bastard could not have cared less.
After all, back then Yami had been as most pharaohs were. Selfish, self-centered, spoiled brat of a
ruler.
Bakura glared once more, before quickly averting his
gaze. "At least you did something
this time...bastard." He mumbled
shaking his head. "Or was it Yugi
that did the work, since he isn't here as well?" Bakura said mournfully, his words stinging, but only out of sharp
grief and an even sharper guilt. He
hadn't expected such a thing to happen to Ryou, and would have readily
prevented it...had he known.
"Yugi is still at Setos...he diverted the attention
away form us so I could get Ryou to the hospital..." Yami�s aid trailing
off still feeling guilty for leaving his Hikari at that horrible place. �Put
Ryou in your place Bakura...and Seto in the guards." Yami said softly
Bakura sighed.
"So twice now, you have done virtually nothing. Your Hikari is being raped at this very
moment for all you know, and yet again...a third time, you sit here
quietly." Bakura said forcing
himself to be angry, rather than let the tears that threatened to spill fall
down his cheeks. "Thank you for
taking my Hikari to the hospital."
He added softly, not accustomed to showing gratefulness, especially to
the pharaoh
"I don�t see you protecting your Hikari right now tomb
robber.... while he was being raped...if you had been there for him in the fist
place I wouldn�t have to leave Yugi in that position...I did this for
Ryou." Yami said angrily
Bakura huffed slightly.
"Had Ryou been wearing the ring, I would have been there. Had YOUR Hikari not lied in the first place,
I would have been there." Bakura
said viciously. "Even if I were to
take the blame for Ryou not wearing the ring, it was most defiantly YUGI who
could have prevented the whole Ra-forsaken thing, and he is YOUR
responsibility!" Bakura said,
raising his voice a bit at the end.
"You have no right to talk to me about
responsibility!" Yami yelled but lowered his voice "If Ryou hadn't
run away from YOU in the first place none of this would have happened."
Yami whispered harshly
Bakura glared.
"If I don�t talk to the 'great' pharaoh about responsibility, no
one will." He growled. "As for Ryou running away from me, I
accept that that is my fault, but to say I am the cause of the whole mess is
wrong. For once, it wasn't your
fault. It was Seto's." Bakura grumbled, deewishwishing to pin the
fault on Yami.
"I wasn't trying to shift blame...all that matters now
is we protect our lights...I need you to stay here, I have to go back for
Yugi." Yami said sighing
Bakura nodded.
"Fine, not that you would have needed to tell me." He said softly. "Good luck with Yugi..."
Yami stopped for a moment before leaving. "Can I trust
you with him?" Yami asked not wanting Ryou to be hurt anymore, he did not
care what Bakura thought at the moment even if he found out that he liked Ryou
all that mattered at the moment is that he didn't leave Ryou in any more danger.
Bakura nodded.
"He will be fine, Why the interest in my Hikari�s safety
Yami?" he said eying the pharaoh suspiciously. "You will answer later, Yugi first." Bakura added after a moment.
Yami turned and left the scene quickly not wanting to
explain why he was interested in Ryou at the moment he had more important
matters to attend to.
Ryou groaned and shook his head a bit. He absolutely hated hospitals, but he had
been getting used to hospitals. He was
happy that the nurse had given him some painkillers and tended to his back
promptly. It was numb, he could hardly
feel the pain he knew should be there.
"I hope Yugi is ok..." he mumbled to himself.
"You should be worried about yourself..." Bakura
mumbled darkly from the doorway. He softened seeing the scared expression on
Ryou face though "I didn�t mean it like that Ryou...It's just your hurt
and should be more concerned with recovery."
Ryou continued to look at his Yami fearfully. "Yugi is more important...he's
still...� Ryou stopped; he didn't need to give Bakura any more ways to hurt
him. "I never put myself
first..." Ryou said, hoping to
divert questions, not knowing Bakura already knew what had happened.
Bakura sighed "Yami�s taking care of Yugi" Bakura
said simply standing at the foot of the bed taking up the file of Ryou's
injuries and such reading them slowly.

Yami exited the hospital after checking one last time on
Ryou, and smiled lightly when he noticed Bakura's lack of ferocity towards
Ryou. He would need to hurry if he
intended to get Yugi to safety.

Yugi hopped out of the cab and paid him quickly, he hoped he
was at the right hospital, he really didn�t feel like walking anywhere else.
Yami smiled when he caught sight of his Hikari. "Aibou!" He said in an uncharacteristically happy tone. He hugged him in relieved joy, before
calming back to his normally cool personality.
"Maybe...you should spend a while in the hospital as well, he
didn't hurt you did he?" Yami
whispered, still hugging the smaller teen.
Yugi smiled weakly "...a little, but nothing really
bad..." Yugi said pulling out of Yami�s arms "How is Ryou?" He
asked softly
Yami smiled lightly.
"He's fine, they took care of him very quickly. Bakura's watching over him, and I
checked...they're getting along fine."
He said knowing Yugi might ask about the wise-ness of leaving the tomb
thief with Ryou. "What you should
be worrying about is your own health."
Yugi shook his head "I'm fine...not that I�m proud or
anything but I�ve been doing this for a while you know..." Yugi said
trailing off but put a smile on his face quickly to appease Yami "Lets
check on them, I�m sure Ryou's worried about me anyway." Yugi said taking
his Yami�s hand softly

Yami shook his head, but smiled and lead his Hikari to
Ryou's room. He couldn't help but smile
when Ryou turned to see them, chocolaty eyes sparkling with happiness at seeing
his friends both ok.
"Yugi! You're
ok!" Ryou said sitting up a
little, adjusting the pillows to a reclining position. Ryou's smile was worth
more than any amount of money at the moment.
Yugi smiled and went to the side of the bed taking Ryou's
hand affectionately.
Bakura swallowed a bit uneasy placing the file back where it
had been and looked at Ryou who had a beautiful smile plastered on his face but
after what Bakura had just read he couldn�t understand really how his light
could be so happy...so much had happened to him and yes now he was free from
that pain but the person who caused it was Scott free. Bakura sighed leaning
against the wall the course of action to take was uncertain at the moment.
Ryou squeezed Yugi's hand.
"You're ok right? I-I
mean...after all that you went through to me get away...� he said quietly,
wiping a few happy tears from his eyes.
He was happy, because both of them were away from Seto, and both of them
were still in one piece. "A-and
Yami...thank you so much for helping me get here..." Ryou said turning his gaze to the taller of
the two. Ryou tugged Yugi into a light
hug and sighed in relief.
"Yugi-kun..." he
murmured happy to have his dear friend near him.
Yugi didn�t answer, he didn't need to he just hugged Ryou
strongly telling him he was okay and would be, and was about to kiss him on the
cheek but the glare Bakura was giving him made him second think the gesture and
he contently held Ryou.
Yami smiled as he watched the two Hikari�s hug. It was like watching two angels. He looked to Bakura. "It seems everything has turned out for
the better." Yami said quietly,
noticing Bakura's glare at Yugi.
"Bakura?" He said
questioningly. He didn't need Bakura to
lose his temper NOW, especially if he intended to take it out on Yugi.
Bakura turned his gaze away from the two, walking out of the
hospital room, latching his arm to Yami�s as he did so pulling the reluctant
Pharaoh out of the room with him. "We need to talk about what is to be
done." He said in a concerned tone, which even startled him slightly.

Yugi smiled and kissed Ryou on the cheek once the
unpredictable Yami had left
Ryou smiled brightly, before returning the favor. "I'm glad you're ok...� he whispered,
unsure if Bakura was out of hearing range.

Yami crossed his arms lightly. &qn>"What is it that you are thinking?" He said eying the tomb thief
suspiciously. "You can�t kill
Seto, he's rich enough that there would he an ungodly investigation." Yami added after a moment
"I know that Yami, but something has to be done...he's
also rich enough that this little escape stunt of theirs will only last them so
long before he takes them again." Bakura sighed shaking his head and looked
at Yami seriously for a moment hoping that the other Yami had some type of plan
to keep their lights out of harms way.
Yami rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I'm not exactly sure, I haven't had much time to think
about a course of action. I've been a
bit busy getting Ryou here, and so on."
He said at last. "All we
can do at the moment, until either of us thinks of a way to prevent this, is
keep a close eye on those two."
Yami added, getting a thoughtful look.
He was already beginning to think of a way to stop Seto from doing this
again.
"You should stay with me and Ryou then, we should stay
together...just to make sure in case one of us needs to go somewhere the other
can watch them, precaution is all." Bakura said quickly.
Yami nodded slightly.
"I don�t think that will be a problem." He was tempted to ask why Bakura had glared
at Yugi, but really, he was sure he already knew. "Its good to see, that when it comes down to it, we CAN
al
along." Yami added smiling lightly
at the temporary truce.
Bakura nodded in agreement "He should be able to come
home today...or so the doctor says." Bakura saalkialking back in the room
taking a seat next to Ryou's bed
Ryou smiled lightly when Bakura had entered the room, and
gave Yami the same angelic grin when he followed. "I'm glad your back."
He said brightly. It was quite a
sight to see him beaming like he was, even after all that Seto had done. "Yugi and I were just talking about you
guys." Ryou added, looking at his
Yami curiously. Bakura seemed uncharacteristically
concerned, and Yami also looked a bit worried.
Bakura sighed and forced a small grin for Ryou
"Whenever your ready Hikari we can go home, the pharaoh and his light will
be staying with us for a while." Bakura said leaning back in the chair
Yami rolled his eyes slightly but scooped Yugi up and
grinned. //I bet you were thinking
you'd get out of this.// he said following Bakura and carrying Yugi
lightly. //and don�t bother
complaining, you've had this coming since you got here. I worry about you Aibou.// Yami didn't want
Yugi straining himself after what he'd gone through. Having done it longer than Ryou or not, Yugi was still his Hikari
and still a person to be cared for.
Yugi smiled not going to object in the slightest resting his
head against his Yami's shoulder feeling himself drift off to sleep /I love you
Yami/ Yugi said before giving in to dreams.

Well I hope you liked it! I may be a little shorter but when
chapter 8 rolls around I think you�ll luv us for it! We need your support!
