Blinding fluorescent light jolted Leo awake to find himself strapped and handcuffed to a cot. He was the infirmary again and the doctor was arcing over him. "Welcome back." A guard opened the first cage and immediately, the boy inside pushed him to the ground and ran for the exit. The doctor sighed and pulled a gun out from his dark coat and shot him twice in the back with two darts, sending him crumpling to the ground. The guard got back up. "Straight to prison?" he asked as two guards picked up the boy's body.
"No. Infirmary. He's a new arrival with duelling potential. Plus the drug I gave him is going to be punishment enough believe me." He said with a sadistic laugh. "But that doesn't go for the rest of you cumpsters but I will inject anyone who refuses or runs with this regardless. You think that 3 hour bug that got you excused was bad? A boy with blonde hair was let out of his cage and walked over to the device. He reached for the keys and hesitated. "Yellow or blue. It's not a hard pick." The third cage opened and the third boy marched towards Leo with a stern look. "Candy was my friend in school. He was abducted trying to find me, rich boy." The boy turned the blue key. A ball of burning pain formed in Leo's rectum. The boy, unsatisfied with Leo's reaction, turned the key further. The pain intensified. Leo got it now. The pain would be worse with each turn but since the cages are too far away for anyone to see which keys were being turned, there was no way anyone could make the pain any less worse. The boy's hand was pulled off the key.
"That's enough. Save it for the duelling stage." For half an hour, boys were let out of their cages and made to turn a key. None ran. None refused. The Doctor's point was made clear. Leo's only relief was that once a key was turned back to its present, the intensity reset to normal. After all slaves had taken their turn, the doctor hit a remote release, sending Leo to the floor. His collar and arm cuffs were off, leaving soft moist rings of skin but his handcuffs remained. The ball gag was taken off and a cup of saliva spilled onto the concrete as Leo inhaled deeply.
His head was then lifted by the hair. The doctor pointed to what looked like a jail cell at the end of the room. "In there is a soft mattress to sleep on. If you have the strength to get there of course. Note also that I have neglected to tell the day shift guards that your battery is rigged to the lightswitches in their barracks. But don't worry too much about that. I doubt no more than five of them will have to get up to go to the bathroom. Ta ta.
