Nothing much just

Ryou awoke without Yami beside him, but Ryou thought nothing
of it as he got out of bed and dressed himself. He wandered into the kitchen
looking for Bakura and Marik but they had apparently left. Ryou frowned as he
continued his search for his other members of Zanshi as he wandered deeper into
the basement of Zanshi finding Seto typing away at his various computers all
networked together.
�Seto?� Ryou asked softly
�What you you doing here?� Seto asked a little irritated he
liked his privacy and was not one for company in all reality.
�Where is everyone?� Ryou asked
�We got some information that Keith is forming a new gang,
they went to investigate it while I�m trying to hack into the system I think
they are using�but I�m having trouble cracking the code�whoever made this had
some skill�s I�ll admit.� Seto said.
�Why was I not informed?� Ryou asked
Seto smiled slightly �Yami doesn�t want you to get hurt��
Seto said trailing off.
Ryou grew cross �Damn him! I am not a child I�m supposed to
be a productive member of Zanshi! Just as much as everyone else.� Ryou ranted.
�Well since you have such a good relationship with the
leader of our group, of course he�s going to be more protective of you.� Seto
sighedou aou act like this is anything different he has always been more
protective of you.�
�I�m not particularly fond of Yami, Seto, you know that
too�I try my hardest to make him hatebut but it doesn�t do any good he only
seems to want me more.� Ryou said.
Seto stopped what eh was doing �Everyone will want what they
cannot have Ryou it�s a fact of life to want forbidden fruits.� Seto said
�But I don�t think if I pretended to like him he would end
up not wanting me anymore.� Ryou said.
�Yami? Oh hell no, he�d want you all the more, he�s been
obsessed with you before you joined Zanshi�but if it helps any he does genuinely
care about you, it�s not just lust he wants you because he is truly in love
with you.� Seto paused for a moment. �Go bother Honda I�m trying to concentrate
if you don�t mind.� Seto said as Ryou rolled his eyes and left.
Ryou pondered the fact that Yami actually might love
him�would it be so bad truthfully to give in to Yami? Maybe it was time he
moved on in life, Yami has never really hurt him besides the Malik situation he
has been a good person. Ryou was supposed to give Yami a chance anyway�if he continued
to resist it wouldn�t be fair to Yami. Ryou sighed sitting down on Yami�s bed,
their bed for now at least. �I�ll give him a fair chance, besides Malik is
dead and there is nothing I can do about it now or ever�I need to move on in my
life.� Ryou took a deep sigh.
�Goodbye Malik.� Ryou said softly making peace with his lost
love and deciding to move on finally.

Malik learned more about Keith�s gang by the minute as he helped
them with small missions and such. He found them to be not that much unlike
Zanshi the only difference was everyone but Keith was younger. Raion was the
name they gave themselves which meant lion, why they called themselves that
Malik was unsure all he cared about was getting Ryou out of Zanshi and then
running away together.
�I will never forget you Ryou�I hope you haven�t forgotten
me.� Malik said softly.

Ryou, although going to give Yami a chance, was still angry
with him for leaving him behind as he glared at him angrily.
�Don�t be this way Ryou, I refuse to spend the next week
with you angry with me.� Yami huffed.
�Why did you leave me behind? That was plain unfair I don�t
want special treatment from you!� Ryou yelled �And another thing, I can act any
way I damn well please while I�m with you, you never said I had to be happy
about this arrangement.� Ryou said.
Yami rolled his eyes �You don�t have to be so unhappy
though, I�m sorry I left you behind but in all truth there was really nothing
for you to do.� Yami sighed �We use you when we interrogate others we were only
watching.� Yami said
�I have two very capable eyes Yami, I�m a wonderful observer
if you haven�t noticed. If you see one of them I could probably tell you what
they were thinking of feeling that would be helpful.� Ryou protested.
�We already bugged the apartment Ryou, we�ll go get the bugs
at the end of this week, were fine.� Yami said, �If we go again I promise not
to leave you the next time.� Yami stood up �If you feel so strongly about
participation you just need to say so.� Yami said hugging the little one.
He was slightly surprised when Ryou hugged him back without
resistance�he didn�t even stiffen at his contact just accepted the hug and
returned it. He smiled to himself kissing Ryou on the top of his head.
�We have a meeting in an about two hours�� Yami said
trailing off. �Is there anything you would like to do before then?� Yami asked
softly
�Not really�I think I�ve finally made peace with the fact
Malik isn�t coming back to me though�� Ryou said softly nodding his head as he
did so.
�Really?� Yami said a bit shocked �I�m happy for you, it�s
better this way you know, you can finally move on with your life.� Yami said
smiling at him.
Ryou scoffed �Some life�I murder, torture, cause riots, and
other horrible thing�s to this world. I was happy when I knew someone loved
me�Malik loved me and so did my father but now they are both gone.� Ryou turned
away from Yami �I have accepted that finally but I still feel like some sort of
plague.� Ryou said unhappily.
Yami embraced the boy from behind �I love you, even if you
don�t believe me I do Ryou.� Yami paused �And you are not a plague Ryou, you
forget we usually only murder those who deserve it�occasionally there is the
innocent bystander but that usually happens when they see something they
shouldn�t have or were sticking their nose in something that they shouldn�t
have so they had it coming in the first place.� Yami said.
�That doesn�t make it right�� Ryou said trailing off
�Well then�I am no better, I�m probably worse�all the others
are the same we are all equals you are no different from anyone else in
Zanshi.� Yami said
Ryou couldn�t help but smile slightly at this; it had
actually made him feel better about himself. He felt Yami�s lips on his neck as
he closed his eyes softly actually liking the feeling of Yami pulling him close
against his body. He felt Yami�s lips touch his as he tensed slightly but he
decided earlier that he would give Yami a chance and he had made him feel
better as he kissed him back actually enjoying the feeling of their mouths
locked to one another in a passionate kiss.

Malik felt his heart being ripped apart from the inside as
he looked at Ryou kissing the man who nearly killed him�not only kissing him!
Ryou was enjoying it! He was kissing him back! He couldn�t take the sight
longer as he left the building top and went as fast as he could to Keith. �I
guess he really didn�t love me! It was a lie! I bet he was with Yami the night
I was dying! That ungrateful little slut, after everything I went through for
him! Everything I did!� Malik tripped on the way to Keith�s as felt two wet
droplets fall upon his hand�s�he was crying�he curled up in a little ball and
began to sob uncontrollably. He had never been so hurt in all his life as he
sobbed harder. He loved Ryou with his whole heart and soul and it feels like
they had both been ripped to shreds�he wouldn�t let Ryou get away with this. He
was going to make Ryou pay for ever hurting him so terribly. Malik finally got
his crying under control as he arrived at Keith who was happy to hear Malik�s
information of Yami�s feeling�s for Ryou being confirmed. Malik decided to
kidnap Ryou by tomorrow night and he would come hell or high water make him pay
for what he had done.

Malik is mad isn�t he? Well I hope you liked it chap 8 will
probably have some major Ryou angst so be for-warned and if not chap 8 then
defiantly chap 9!
