Huza! Chapter 7 is up and running ~smile~ I hope you enjoy!

Joey looked at Yugi curiously but Yugi looked really serious
about it.
�Don�t you think he would tell us though?� Joey said, �He
told us last time.�
�He eventually told us Joey, who knows how long the abuse
lasted before we helped him put a stop to it.� Yugi countered.
�But Bakura stopped, what would make him start up again?�
Joey asked
�Who knows, Bakura is psychotic and with Malik and him
constantly together it cant be a very safe environment for Ryou.� Yugi said
�Why is this so important to you? Last time you said we
couldn�t help Ryou until he asked for it, but now you want to blunder into
things, why are you so determined to help him?� Joey said. �I�m not saying
you�re a bad friend Yugi, but I�m pretty sure Ryou would tell us if Bakura was
beating up on him again.� Joey said
�Its just�Yami and Ryou are so happy, I don�t want to see
Yami get hurt again is all.� Yugi said
�So its Yami that you are truly worried about.� Joey said
�No, I am worried a little about Ryou because we have gotten
really close recently because of Yami. Would it hurt terribly to go check
things out?� Yugi asked
�I guess not�we can go see what made him miss school if
nothing else.� Joey said.
�All right, I�ll meet you over at his place okay?� Yugi
asked
�Sure, I�ll see you there.� Joey said
The two parted as soon as the bell rang out for class to
begin.

Ryou shifted uneasily in bed as he sat up shaking his head.
He sighed heavily trying to think about how to handle the situation he had
gotten himself into. Ryou loved Yami it was obvious that he did, and it was
also obvious that Yami felt the same if not more. However, Yami was a bit
oblivious to his own strength whenever they made love. Ryou had tried several
times to tell Yami that he needed to be gentler. How do you tell the man you
love that the past few nights you have been together were, to say the least,
unpleasant basically painful for you. Ryou had no way of saying that in a way
where it wouldn�t be awkward for both of them, it was only the awkwardness Ryou
didn�t want Yami to feel like he didn�t trust him because he did. He sighed
heavily again sha his his head.
Malik walked in and looked at him slightly concerned.
�Since when do you miss school?� Malik said
�I just didn�t feel well today.� Ryou said looking away from
him
Malik grinned �Liar, you can pull that act with your friends
but not with me Ryou. You went to school even when you could barely walk after
one of Bakura�s lessons, you don�t feel well is not a good enough
excuse�for me.� Malik said
�I went to school in that condition to get away from Bakura
Malik, not because I wanted to go or felt well enough to attend, if I stayed it
would be a sign of weakness and Bakura doesn�t like that.� Ryou said
�Good comeback but still not good enough to convince me. I
know you better than that, I know you better than you think.� Malik said
�You do realize I�m not Bakura, we are totally different.�
Ryou stated
�You are not as different as you think Ryou, and I�m not
speaking of physical resemblance. Bakura wasn�t always this way you know, being
trapped inside the ring changed him dramatically more than you would know.�
Malik said taking a seat on the bed.
�And I know he is not the most open person in the world, the
only reason I know these things is because I remember what he was like in the
past�something he himself doesn�t even remember.� Malik said, �We all have
memories missing.� Malik said
�And sanity apparently� Ryou said with a slight smile
�You seem very determined not to tell me what really is the
matter with you�but I am compelled to find out, call it curiosity.� Malik said
�I call it annoyance.� Ryou said folding his arms
�At least you are learning to talk back, the next best thing
to fighting back I guess. Bakura will be so pleased.� Malik said
�Malik?� Ryou asked timidly �What do you see in Bakura?�
�See in him?� Malik asked
�What made you fall in love with him? You are in love with
him right?� Ryou asked
�Yes I do love Bakura, but I cant tell you why, that�s like
asking why the sky is blue�I don�t know why I love him I just do, he makes me
feel wanted.� Malik said
�Has he ever�hurt you?� Ryou asked
�Hurt me?� Malik asked curiously
�When you two make love, has he ever hurt you?� Ryou asked
�A few times, it�s all forgotten though�not to mention
Bakura is a slight sadist so it�s kind of unavoidable in the first place.�
Malik said
�Is he doing it on purpose than?� Ryou asked
�He doesn�t even know he�s doing it until the damage is
already done. But bringing it to his attention is very vital.� Malik said
�Why should it matter?� Ryou asked
�Well without knowing that something is painful to their
partner they will continue to do the same if not more, like I said Bakura
doesn�t realize that he hurts me sometimes and that�s okay but I make sure he
knows about it later�what brought up these sudden surge of questions? Curious
about our bed manners?� Malik asked mischievously.
�N-no I was just curious at all.� Ryou stammered
�Are you going to stay in bed all day?� Malik asked
�Don�t really have much of a choice�� Ryou mumbled although
Malik heard it.
�Why is that?� Malik asked
�No reason, never mind.� Ryou quickly said
The doorbell suddenly rang and Malik went to answer it. Ryou
sighed heavily as he inspected his legs, which were still pretty badly bruised
from last nights encounter. It hurt too much to walk, every time he stood up he
felt like he would fall over instantly so he figured that walking was out of
the question. He was slightly surprised to see Joey and Yugi walk in his room
for a visit.
�Hey Ryou!� Joey said giving him a big hug
Yugi was hoping that Ryou would flinch at the contact so he
could have some type of proof before he started bad mouthing Bakura to Ryou but
Ryou just smiled and returned the hug happily.
�It was nice of you to stop by, did I miss much?� Ryou asked
�No, we brought your homework though� Yugi said handing him
the work.
Joey looked at Ryou curiously �I can�t believe you�re
actually happy to get work!� He said a bit shocked.
�I don�t like falling behind is all.� Ryou answered flipping
through the papers.
�So, are you feeling better?� Yugi asked
�A little I think I�ll stay home over the weekend though, no
visits to your place I�m afraid.� Ryou said a bit unhappily.
�Do you want me to tell Yami where you are?� Yugi asked
�Sure, but I�m still not feeling well. I�ve slept most of
the day already. I think he would just be here watching me sleep.� Ryou said
with a slight smile
�But you�re beautiful when you sleep Ryou.� Malik said, �Who
wouldn�t want to watch that?� He said taking a seat next to Ryou.
Ryou shook his head rolling his eyes at him as he began to
slip his fingers through Ryou�s hair absentmindedly. Yugi looked at both of them strangely, why was Malik even
touching Ryou? Wasn�t he with Bakura to begin with? Joey didn�t seem to even
notice how affectionate Malik was being toward Ryou.
�I was kind of curious to why you didn�t come to school
today.� Yugi began
�I�m just not feeling well.� Ryou said but at the same time
was glaring at Malik not even looking Yugi or Joey in the eye.
Malik gave Ryou a mischievous smile and nodded his head, as
if they agreed upon something. Yugi didn�t have any proof or anything but
Malik�s behavior worried him slightly. Yugi and Joey soon left and Malik pulled
Ryou closer to him.
�What do you want?� Ryou asked pushing away
�Nothing�yet.� Malik said
�Yet?� Ryou looked at him confused
�You owe me now Ryou, for keeping your little lie a secret
from your friends. Or would you rather them know that you are lying?� Malik
said
�I really hate you sometimes you know that?� Ryou said
�Is that a yes?� Malik asked
�No, all right Fine, what do wantwant?� Ryou asked

I had to leave it there! Sorry! Ryou is going to dig his own
grave if he doesn�t do something soon about Yami and Malik I hope you enjoyed!
