This Means War!
            Bakura sat down on the sofa and folded his hands in his lap. He could still see the shock
on Ryou’s face. He knew there was no way out of this one. There may not have been a way out,
but he could at least have some fun making Ryou squirm.
“So where were you all night?” Bakura ask with a demonic smirk on his lips.
Ryou glanced up at Malik, who was standing behind him, and than looked back at Bakura.
“Out” he answered nervously.
Malik put his hand on Ryou’s shoulder.
“We went for a ride on my motorcycle.” the Egyptian elaborated.
Ryou crossed his arms. He reached for Malik’s hand and held onto it tightly. He seemed to be
bracing himself for something.
“At least I wasn’t taking advantage of an intoxicated virgin.” The bold hikari instantly cringed
after smarting off to his yami. After living with his yami for so long, he learned many times over
that Bakura had a wicked temper and didn’t take well to being talked back to.
Fortunately for Ryou, Yugi came back into the livingroom at that exact moment. The pharaoh’s
light sat next to Bakura holding his stomach.
“Do the two of you mind if I stay here tonight?” he ask softly.
Bakura glared at Ryou as he got to his feet.
“You can stay” he nodded at Yugi, reaching for the hikari’s hand. Yugi smiled up at Bakura.
“Thank you.”
Bakura started walking Yugi out of the room, but he looked back one last time at Ryou before he
was out of sight. His eyes flickered with animosity. He opened their mind link for a few
moments.
//I fucked him, but it wasn’t my idea.// Bakura relayed through their mental connection. //And
don’t think I’m going to let you get away with being rude to me either.//
With that being said, Bakura broke their link and turned away. He lead Yugi to his bedroom and
helped Yugi into bed.
“You can sleep in my bed tonight, I don’t think I’ll be getting much sleep anyway.
Bakura walked over to his dresser and pulled a long, black shirt out of the top drawer. He tossed
the shirt to Yugi.
“Here, wear this.”
Yugi looked up at Bakura and smiled.
“Yami Bakura? Thank you for everything tonight.”
Bakura leaned over and kissed Yugi’s forehead. He smiled as he pulled away.
“If you need to throw up some more there’s a waste paper basket next to the bed on this side.
Don’t barf in my bed though, or I’ll feed you to the shadows.”
Yugi closed his eyes and giggled.
“I’ll remember that. Good night Bakura.”
Bakura covered up up with a blanket and walked over to the door.
“Goodnight Yugi, don’t let my monsters scare you.” he laughed as he shut the light off.
Bakura could hear Ryou and Malik talking quietly to each other in the livingroom yet, so he
grabbed a towel out of the bathroom and wrapped it around his waist. He needed to get a few
things ois cis chest before he called it a night.
Bakura quietly stalked down the hall and into the candle lit livingroom. He didn’t make a sound,
he only listened closely to the conversation between Ryou and Malik.
“I wish,” Ryou sighed, “Bakura does his things and I do mine, that’s how it’s always been.”
Bakura watched Malik pull Ryou into his chest and hold him.
“Don’t worry about it Ryou, Bakura will come around someday. It took Marik a while, but he’s
actually pretty cool now. I think the time he spent in the Shadow Realm really knocked some
sense into him.”
Ryou looked up at Malik with glassy eyes and grimaced.
“My yami took over Hell, I think he’s just a tad more difficult to deal with than Marik.”
Malik brushed his fingers through Ryou’s hair and chuckled. “Bakura what!?!”
Bakura stepped into the livingroom wearing a wicked grin. Just for the hell of it he made his
eyes glow too. That always scared the shit out of people.
“I took over Hell. You know, that place where all the baaaad people go? It’s very lovely this
time of year, care to see for yourself?”
Ryou tensed up as soon as he heard Bakura’s menacing voice. He clenched his eyes shut and
crawled into Malik’s lap.
Malik held the frightened hikari in his arms, gently stroking Ryou's soft, long hair. He glared up
at Bakura who was laughing at Ryou’s fear.
“Cut it out, that wasn’t funny.”
Bakura rolled his eyes.
“And your point is?” he scoffed, taking a seat on the sofa.
Malik wasn’t amused.
Why Why can’t you treat Ryou better? Do you have some kind of inferiority complex?”
Bakura crossed his arms infront of himself and glowered at Malik.
“When the little brat gets kicked out of hell for taking over and causing destruction beyond your
wildest dreams, THAN I’ll respect the little whelp. Until than, he’s stuck with me AS IS. So
you’ll fuck off and keep your nose in your own business, hikari Ishtar, if you know what’s good
for you.”
Malik continued to glare at the overbearing yami. He didn’t seem phased by Bakura’s threats.
“Ryou IS my business.” he hissed.
Bakura stared at Malik with a mischievous smirk on his face. He knew exactly how to set the
mouthy Egyptian straight.
“You know, that’s true. Ryou is your business now that you’re fucking him.”
“I’m not fucking him, Bakura. We haven’t been together long enough for that yet.” Malik
quickly added. Ryou looked like he wanted to jump out the window and run. Before the
conversation went any further though, they all were distracted by the sound of Yugi throwing up
in the bathroom.
Ryou quickly got up and started walking toward the kitchen. “I’m going to make some tea.
Would you like some too, Malik?”
Malik nodded his head, but he continued to give Bakura the evil eye. “Yes, please.”
Once Ryou was out of the room, a slippery grin crossed Malik’s face.
“Aren’t you going to go hold your boyfriend’s hair or something?”
Bakura knew exactly how to shut Malik up. Scary faces and overwhelming threats may not have
worked, but a little blackmail would surely fix him!
“So Malik, tell me, isn’t it a bit difficult to be Ryou’s boyfriend and MR’s lover at the same
time?”
Malik’s brazen attitude suddenly changed. His eyes grew wide and he stare Bak Bakura in
disbelief. But instead of admitting his guilt, Malik denied what he knew was true.
“Don’t be absurd Bakura, Marik and I could never be lovers. There’s nothing going on between
him and I.” he lied.
Bakura raised his eyebrow and grinned at Malik with sarcastic amusement. Malik never was that
good of a liar.
“Oh? Really? Care to place a wager on that?” Bakura chuckled.
Malik turned his head and looked away. “Just shut up.” he grumbled. Bakura could see he’d
struck a nerve. Perfect time to remind Malik who was in charge. Bakura leaned close to Malik’s
ear.
“If you truly care for Ryou, than you’ll play your cards right with me, understand?”
Bakura’s voice sent chills down Malik’s spine. He nodded his head.
“I understand” he reluctantly answered back.
A victorious gleam sparkled in Bakura’s eyes as he stood up.
“I’m glad you feel that way, now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go- *ahem* -hold my
boyfriend’s hair.”
Malik took a deep breath. Bakura could see that Malik wanted to smart off to him, but obviously
knew better than to do something that stupid.
“Boyfriend.....gods......that’s rich.” Bakura snickered as he walked out of the room. Ryou walked
in carrying two mugs of tea as Bakura walked out.
“Are you okay?” Bakura heard Ryou ask Malik as he walked to the bathroom.
//Ask him for a blow job// Bakura laughed to himself. He knocked on the bathroom door before
walking in.
“Yugi? Mind if I come in?” He ask.
“I don’t mind.” Yugi answered weakly>

Bakura opened the door and found Yugi sitting next to the bathtub holding his knees to his chest.
He didn’t look very good at all. Bakura walked in and kneeled next to him.
“You’re wilting”ura ura chuckled as he touched Yugi’s sweat drenched hair.
Yugi stared down at the tiled bathroom floor. He cracked a little smile, but not for long.
“Oh man” he groaned, “I feel awful”
Bakura stood up and flushed the toilet, keeping his eyes on Yugi.
“The porcelain goddess has accepted your sacrifice.” Bakura chuckled.
Yugi looked up at Bakura and bit his lip.
“I’m really sorry Bakura, I don’t usually drink alcohol. I guess we know why now.”
Bakura shrugged his shoulders and reached for Yugi’s hand.
“Everybody has the right to over-indulge every now and than. I actually thought you were quite
sexy all pissed up.”
Yugi took Bakura’s hand and got to his feet. He was still a little dizzy, so he leaned against
Bakura so he wouldn’t fall over.
“I’m not as sexy now, am I?” Yugi laughed softly as they made their way back to Bakura’s room.
Bakura turned on his bedroom light and lead Yugi back to bed. After tucking the wore out hikari
in, Bakura sat on the edge of the bed looking down at the floor. He couldn’t get Ryou’s voice out
of his head.
//At least I wasn’t taking advantage of an intoxicated virgin.// Rang through his head repeatedly.
Bakura looked at Yugi laying in his bed with his eyes closed. He looked like an innocent child.
Bakura needed to know if he’d really taken advantage of Yugi. It wasn’t that he really cared
though, he just wanted to know.
“Yugi? Do you regret having sex with me?” He ask out of the blue.
Yugi opened his eyes.
“Regret giving myself to you? No, I regret drinking all the peach schnapps though.”
Bakura smiled and patted Yugi’s hand.
“You’re kind of cute, you know that?”
Yugi took hold of Bakura’s hand and smiled.
“Bakura? Are you on dope?” he laughed softly.
Bakura rolled his eyes.
“Pfffft, you silly shit. I think you need to get some sleep.”
Bakura tried to pull his hand away from Yugi’s but Yugi refused to let go.
  “Bakura? Can you stay with me tonight?”
Bakura hesitated. He felt a little weird about going to bed with Yugi. Before Bakura could
choose though, Ryou walked into his room.
“Malik and I are going to bed, so please don’t disturb us.”
Bakura looked back at Ryou and nodded his head. He knew that meant they were probably going
to indulge in some sort of sinful pleasure, so that was an acceptable reason to let them be.
“Whatever. Now get the hells out of my room you unworthy mortal, and shut the light off!”
Bakura turned to Yugi. “I guess Ryou answered your question.”
Yugi laughed softly.
“I hope they aren’t as loud as Marik and Yami are.”
Bakura laid down and covered his head up with a pillow.
“Disgusting! Too much information! Go to sleep you sick little freak.” he laughed as he settled
into bed.
Bakura felt an arm wrap around his waist, than he felt Yugi cuddle up behind him.
“Good night, Bakura.”
Bakura made a noise at the back of his throat in response. He closed his eyes. It was strange
having somebody next to him in bed. It wasn’t all bad though. It was something he could get
used to if need be.
            The next morning came quickly. Before Bakura opened his eyes, the aroma of freshly
made coffee awoke his senses. Bakura kicked off his covers and yawned. He rubbed his eyes and
glanced at his alarm clock. His eyes took a minute to come into focus. It was only 7:30. Nature
decided to call, so Bakura groaned as forced himself to get out of bed. His room was still
somewhat dark, but he managed to find a pair of jeans laying on the floor. He pulled his pants on
and headed out of his room.
He almost bumped into Ryou in the hall. It seemed they both were heading to the same place.
“Oh, yami, I’m sorry! I didn’t see you there.” Ryou exclaimed as he moved out of Bakura’s way.
He waited outside the door as Bakura went about his business.
“So is Malik still here?” Bakura ask.
“Yes, he’s still sleeping. Yugi is up though. He and I are watching television in the livingroom.”
Bakura bit his lip.
//Oh yeah, shit, I forgot he was here.// Bakura thought to himself.
//Shall I tell him that?// Ryou chuckled through their mind link.
Bakura took a deep breath and counted to ten. It wasn’t easy fighting the urge to pummel his
light.
“I’m not amused, now leave me be. I’ll be out in a minute.”
Bakura quickly finished up and walked down to the kitchen. He grabbed himself a cup of coffee
in his favorite mug with the bullet decorated yellow smiley face, and went into the livingroom by
Yugi.
“G’morning Bakura” Yugi smiled. He looked a little better than he had the night before, though
his eyes were slightly dark underneath.
Bakura nodded his head.
“Hungover?” he ask.
Yugi nodded his head and sipped his coffee. “Yeah, I feel pretty bad. Thanks for sleeping with
me last night though. It was nice having someone next to me again.”
Bakura cocked his head. Again? What did Yugi mean by, again?
Yugi stared down at his mug of coffee and sighed.
“Yami used to sleep by me every night.........until Marik came into the picture. Now I hardly see
him at all.”
Bakura wasn’t very interested in Yugi’s private life, so he shrugged his shoulders and laughed.
“Could be worse, just ask Ryou.”
“Ask me what?” Ryou ask as he walked into the room.
Bakura sat down on the recliner and kicked his feet up. “Yugi was just telling me what an ass
Yami is, and I told him to ask you what it’s like living with me if he thinks Yami is so horrible.”
Ryou sat next to Yugi and made a face at Bakura.
“Honestly? You really want me to tell him this?”
Bakura shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t fucking care.”
Ryou sighed and turned to Yugi.
“It’s like living with Adolf Hitler, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Seto Kaiba all in one body. Bakura
is so egotistical, his own shadow arouses him”
Bakura shook his head and chuckled.
“I thank you for the compliments, my dear light. I’ll remember them when Christmas comes
around.”
Ryou rolled his eyes.
“Are you going to light the tre fir fire again? Or run outside in the middle of the night wearing a
pink bathrobe, wielding a hand gun and yelling ‘I want to be your ho ho ho!’ again? Or singing
your frightful rendition of the Christmas classic “Deck the Halls?”
Bakura grinned and cleared his throat. There was a glint of mischief in his chestnut eyes.
“Deck the halls with bloody corpses.....fa la la la la..la la la la” he sang.
Ryou grabbed a pillow off the couch and whipped it across the room, hitting Bakura in the head.
“Hang the thief from the gallows....fa la la la la..la la la la...” Ryou sang back, laughing more
than carrying a tune.
Bakura flung the pillow Ryou had thrown back at his giggly hikari. Yugi laughed along with
Bakura and Ryou. Bakura chuckled as he rested his hands behind his head.
“Remember the lovely decorations I put up around the house?”
Ryou turned to Yugi and rolled his eyes.
“He replaced the glass balls I put on the tree with little silver pentagrams, glued horns and a tail
on the angel, and turned every cross upside down. My father unexpectedly came home that year
and threatened to call in a priest to perform an exorcism on me.”
“And that was not an option. That’s when I introduced myself to Mr. Bakura.” Bakura grinned as
he sipped his coffee.
“My poor father....he hasn’t returned since.” Ryou sighed.
Bakura pulled a cigarette out of his pack and lit it up, inhaling it quickly, but exhaling the smoke
slowly. “You should thank me for sending the fruitcake your father sent you last year to the
Shadow Realm.”
“The shadows returned it though!” Ryou exclaimed.
“Yes, I know, the them. They aren’t getting a card from me this year!”
Ryou took a drink of his coffee and shook his head.
“The holidays just wouldn’t be the same without you, Bakura.”
Bakura chuckled as he got up out of his chair.
“This year I plan on using my Reverse Dimension* magic card on the world during Christmas.
It’s going to be so much fun!”
Yugi cocked his head curiously.
“Reverse Dimension? I’ve never heard of that card, what does it do?”
Bakura picked a pair of black boots up off of a small area rug next to the and and impishly
grinned.
“It makes everything go in reverse. So instead of that fat bastard in the red suit bringing the brats
of the world toys, he will take them instead! HAHAHA!”
Ryou rolled his eyes.
“What happens if you need to use the bathroom? Will the card’s effect affect that too?”
Bakura suddenly stopped laughing as he thought about Ryou’s question. He pulled his shiny
black boots on and grabbed his leather jacket which was hung up on a hook by the door.
“C’mon Yugi, I’ll walk you home.” he said without answering Ryou.
Yugi and Ryou turned their heads, both knowing the other was wearing the same big grin. They
knew better than to laugh, but it wasn’t easy suppressing it.
“Okay Bakura, give me a minute to get my shoes on and than we can go.” Yugi answered.
Ryou got up and started walking to the kitchen. He looked back at Bakura and smiled.
Bakura was busy admiring his face in one of the decorative mirrors on the wall and didn’t see
Ryou smiling at him, but Yugi noticed it. He didn’t say anything, but he could see in Ryou’s face
that he and Bakura shared a closer bond than they admitted to anyone.
Just as Yugi got his shoes on, Malik walked into the kitchen. He was still wearing the same
clothes he had on the day before, minus his gold jewelry. He walked directly over to Ryou and
gave him a big hug.
“Hope you’re not mad at me.” Malik said just barely loud enough for Bakura to hear.
Ryou shook his head and kissed Malik’s cheek.
“Not at all.” he purred back.
Bakura wasn’t sure what to make of their little conversation, but he made a mental note to ask
Ryou later.
“Let’s go” he said firmly to Yu/p>

“Right behind you” Yugi smiled as they left the apartment.
            The sounds of Yami and Marik shouting were the first thing Bakura and Yugi heard as
they reached the game shop.
“Sounds like they’re at it again.” Yugi groaned as they walked inside. They ted ted Yami and
Marik standing infront of one of the glass card displays.
Yami glared up at Marik and stomped on the Egyptian’s foot.
“You bastard! I can’t believe you called me Bakura!” he shouted.
Marik clenched his fists and glared back. “It was an accident, get over it!”
Bakura couldn’t help but burst out laughing as he and Yugi approached the arguing couple.
“You called HIM me? Priceless!”
Yami grimaced at the thief. “Go fuck yourself, grave robber.” he snapped sharply.
Marik reached over and swatted Yami’s arm. “Just knock it off, Yami. This isn’t his fault.”
Yami once again stomped on Marik’s foot as hard as he could, eliciting a cry of pain from the
yami tomb keeper.
“You bastard, that hurt!” Marik shouted as he shoved Yami.
Yami flew backward, falling right into Bakura’s arms. Bakura quickly shoved Yami back at
Marik. “I don’t want him, you keep the little rat!”
Yami steadied himself before he fell and whirled around. Before Bakura could blink, Yami
slapped him across the face as hard as he could.
“Yami!” Marik gasp, lunging at the former pharaoh. He wrapped his arms around Yami and held
him in a bear hug.
Bakura touched his hand to his sore cheek and glared at Yami.
“Slap me one more time and I’ll rip out your eyes, you defective sperm.”
Yami tried to pull away from Mariut Mut Marik was by far much stronger.
“It’s a shame your father wasn’t masturbating the night you were conceived.” Yami hissed at
Bakura, still struggling to free himself as he did so.
Bakura took a deep breath and started to move forward, but Yugi quickly got between the
infuriated yami’s.
“C’mon guys, just chill out. You can’t be fighting in the front of the shop like this, it’s not good
for business, especially if any customers walked in.”
Yami bit his lip and settled down. Bakura turned around and stormed out te door, not saying a
word.
“Fuck this” Marik growled as he shoved Yami into the wall and followed Bakura’s lead.
Yami, who was on his hands and knees, looked up and shouted at Marik.
“Get your ass back here! We’re not through talking about this!”
Marik didn’t respond, he continued out the door and didn’t look back.

Hey everyone!! I hear the review feature isn’t fucked anymore! Yay! Now you all can tell me if
this story is sucking or not! LOL
Great news too! I don’t feel like fucking shit anymore! I’m finally back to sitting on the
computer all day tg upg up my and and staying up half the night listening to my muses. I just
restructured my duel deck, so I have to go hunt down a victim right now. I can’t wait to hear
what you all think of this story thus far ^_^ (when I get back)
BTW- the secret of the bowling ball comes out in the next chapter.....and grampa motou
gets out of the hospital. I wonder what he’ll break next. LOL (he annoys me almost as much as
Anzu!)
My beta is drunk again, so hopefully she’ll be sobered up soon so I can make the corrections
necessary to this chapter.
I’m working on the next chapter of CiS, so I should have it up tomorrow sometime.
