Chapter 7:
Me against Yugi

I got outside the castle to wait for Yugi and his
friends... wonder if silver-hair is coming?

�What?!�
I slapped my forehead to gain focus on kicking Yugi�s ass, to gain access to
kick Pegasus� ass and save Mokuba!�

I heard a murmur of voices closing in on the stairs,
probably Yugi and the gang... I shook my head to not think of silver-hair.

�Look!� Anzu shouted as they gained access to the
stair �It�s Kaiba!�

�Kaiba-sweetie!�
Yugi shouted loving. I just rolled my eyes at him.

As Yugi tried to run to me Honda lifted him of the
ground.

�Honda-kun let me go!� he shouted.

�Kaiba!
What�s the meaning of this?!!!� Jonouchi bellowed at me but little did I cared
as I look after silver-hair in their crowd and found him and looked after that
hint of evil inside him. He once again blushed and looked away. This time I
didn�t find it but I knew it�s in him somewhere.

I looked down at Honda, Yugi and Jonouchi and snorted
as Jonouchi shouted at me.

�Let Yugi go Honda!� I said to Honda who of course
looks at Jonouchi trying to see if he could trust me or not.

And as Jonouchi nodded and Honda let go of Yugi, who
of course darted all the way up to me and hugged my waist, hey, the kid don�t
go higher than to my waist so what to expect? And he started to nuzzle in my
side. Very annoying...

�What�s that mean Kaiba? Are you two back together
again?� Anzu asked.

�No!� I stated with crossed arms �I just need to duel
Yugi to get access to the castle� I said and I grabbed the back of Yugi�s shirt
and lifted him at the neck and started to walk away to the castle walls were
there were a lot of room for my new prototype.

The others shouted at me as they ran after. I wonder
why? Note the sarcasm.

I dropped Yugi on the ground and gave him one of the
duel discs prototype the corporation were developing. I showed Yugi how to work
it and then that strange puzzle thing around his neck began to shine and he had
change into psycho-mode!

�I accept your challenge Kaiba!� He said and took out
some star-chips out of his glove and looked up at me.

�How many?�

I pulled out all my star-chips, those Mokuba had stole
and throw them in front of me.

�Five!�

He nodded and copied my action and then we activated
our duel discs.

�I�ll start!� He shouted as he drew his cards.

Five minutes later the duel were almost at end, I had
summoned my Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon which Yugi had pullulated with the
disgusting Mammoth Graveyard and I had only resurrected one of the heads.

Yugi had only Celtic Guardian on his side. If any of
us attacked that person would win, but I had put Yugi to a disadvantage I know
he couldn�t overcome. I had stand myself on the edge and said if he�d attacked
I would surly get so surprised that I�d lose my balance and fall.

I could see in Yugi�s eyes that he really wasn�t going
to attack me but just like silver hair there was something beyond those eyes. I
saw a flicker of evil there too not as evil as silver hair had but that flicker
in Yugi�s eyes wanted nothing more than attack.

Speaking of which... I turned my head to see Yugi�s
cheerleaders and saw that only silver hair weren�t cheering for Yugi, he looked
at me with concern in his eyes but as he noticed I watched him he turned away,
blushing. I still didn�t see that evil flicker in his eyes. Did I just image
that? But I couldn�t have been, because when I saw it, it was clear as crystal
that there was something beyond those kind chocolate brown eyes.

I turned my focus back at Yugi, that schizo! He had his hands on his head as if he tried to
fight his schizophrenia.

�I....I....� I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms this
was getting annoying for every passing minute. This is wasting my time! Get
over it and end your turn!

�I....I....� he echoed as he fell down on his knees
�Celtic Guardian! Attack!� It was the deeper psycho
voice. I raised a brow at it... I still know Yugi will stop it...

�STOP!!!!!�
Said and done, this time in his own high squeaking
voice. Celtic Guardian obeyed his master and I smirked. It meant his turn was
ended.

�Blue Eyes!
Attack and terminate Celtic Guardian!� I command my lovely dragon who obeyed. I
won the duel.��

I collected the chips and my prototypes and headed for
the castle not caring for Yugi and his friends but as I passed silver hair he
looked at me and this time the evil flicker shine through his brown eyes. I
smirked at him, I knew I couldn�t have imagined it, to my surprise he mirrored
the smirk.
