Well as requested by threats here is Chapter 9 to Love &
Pain�ENJOY!

Ryou stared at Malik for a moment before Malik finally
answered him.
�A kiss.� Malik said simply
��Your joking right?� Ryou said
�No, far from it. If you want me to keep your secret I want
you to kiss me.� Malik said pulling Ryou into his arms.
�I, I cant�Malik please I�m with Yami, and you�your with
Bakura anyway.� Ryou said trying to pull away from him.
�I�m not seeing your point Ryou, Bakura has seen this coming
for a while now�I�m surprised you haven�t noticed how close I�ve been to you
lately�and Yami doesn�t have to know, I could care less.� Malik said png

�Its not that I didn�t notice I was ignoring you.� Ryou said
pulling away finally.
�Its only a kiss Ryou, really you act as if I asked to have
sex with you.� Malik said crossing his arms and glaring at him.
��Only a kiss?� Ryou said
�As long as you kiss me I�ll e yoe you alone.� Malik said
with a smile.
�Only once.� Ryou said
Malik rolled his eyes, he was hoping to use that as a
loophole but oh well. He smiled and nodded at Ryou.
��Fine.� Ryou said reluctantly
Malik pulled Ryou strongly into his arms, not caring to be
gentle with him and pressed his lips firmly to Ryou�s. It was obvious, to
Malik, that Ryou didn�t want to kiss him as he pushed against his chest. Malik
wasn�t going to stop soon though no matter how much Ryou objected against it.
Malik pushed his tongue past Ryou�s lips causing a small gasp to escape Ryou�s
lips. Ryou participated as little as
possible with him. Malik pulled away.
�Okay?� Ryou said
�Yes, very nice.� Malik said
�No, I mean will you go now?� Ryou asked
�No, not yet.� Malik said
�But you said�� Ryou began
Malik cut him off �I said I would leave when you gave me
a kiss, youn�t�n�t�I gave you a kiss and it is not the same thing. Why else
would I have stopped?� Malik asked.
��And if I give you a kiss?� Ryou said
Malik was about to answer but the doorbell rang. He sighed and
smiled at Ryou, I�ll just receive what is owed later, Malik said as he left
Ryou�s room to answer the door. Ryou shook his head and wiped his lips
furiously, he could still taste him�and what�s worse he liked how Malik tasted
and he shouldn�t have. He pulled his legs up to his chest and laid his head
down upon them thinking silently to himself. How do I keep getting myself into
these messes? Ryou asked curiously to himself. And what in the world does Malik
want with me? He has Bakura; those two have so much in common not to mention as
well, what does he see in me? Ryou asked but Yami walking into his room with a
bright smile and flowers interrupted his thoughts.
�I heard you weren�t feeling well.� Yami said laying the
flowers down on the bedside table next to him.
��You didn�t have to come by and�� Ryou began
�I wanted to, I care about you a lot you know.� Yami said
gently kissing him on the forehead.
Ryou blushed and looked down. Why can�t he be like that when
we make love? He asked himself silently. Ryou gave an exasperated sigh, which
caught Yami�s attention.
�Ryou? What�s wrong? You seem troubled by something.� Yami
said
��Its nothing, you don�t have to worry.� Ryou said giving a
weak smile.
�Is Bakura hurting you again?� Yami asked
��You�ve been talking to Yugi and Joey haven�t you?� Ryou
said shaking his head
�I�m kind of permanently atta to to Yugi Ryou�besides he is
just trying to help.� Yami said softly.
�If he was hurting me again, you would be the first to
notice strange bruises wouldn�t you?� Ryou said tilting his head with a slight
smile.
Yami shook his head at him �I should�ve thought of that.�
Yami said
�se ise inform Yugi of this information before he accuses
Bakura himself, and gets himself in more trouble than he can handle.� Ryou said
pulling Yami into a soft embrace.
�I will�if its not to late that is�� Yami said looking
toward the door suddenly
�Yami! You need to find him and stop him! If Bakura was
hitting me he would admit it but he hates being falsely accused! Especially by
Yugi.� Ryou said
�Fine, I�ll go out and find him�will you be okay?� Yami
asked
�I�ll be , I , I just don�t feel well is all.� Ryou
repeated.
Yami kissed him gently and left but not before noticing that
his lips tasted different but he disregarded it and left with a smile.

Malik walked back up to Ryou�s room after he was sure Yami
was gone.
�Lying to your boyfriend! You should be ashamed!� He said
sarcastically
�Be quite.� Ryou said folding his arms
�Oh don�t worry my lips are sealed.� Malik said holding his
finger to his lips
�Just keep them that way and please away from me too.� Ryou
said
�For now I will, but you still owe me a kiss.� Malik said
smiling
�Has anyone told you, you smile to much?� Ryou said looking
at him
�Has anyone ever told you, you don�t smile enough? Seriously
Ryou you are so much more beautiful when you smile, what has been wrong with
you lately? What is really wrong? Its not like I�ll tell anyone.� Malik said
�For a price that is.� Ryou said looking away
�Even if it�s free of charge?� Malik said with a smirk.
�I�ll be okay�eventually at least.� Ryou said lying down.
�Can I ask you a question?� Ryou asked softly.
Malik shrugged �Sure.�
�What is it you see in me?� Ryou asked �Isn�t Bakura
enough?�
�You have certain qualities Bakura will never possess, for
it is not in his nature, he is not innocent and is not soft�like you. Besides I
rarely am the dominant one in the relationship, I doubt you would be able to
over power me.� Malik said leaving
�No�I guess not.� Ryou said a small blush creeping across
his features.

HeHe�I love my stories�I want to start a new one but not
