Ryou tried to sleep that night but couldn�t because Bakura
had never come home, which worried Ryou. He wasn�t exactly concerned for
Bakura�s safety, Bakura could defend himself easily, and it�s just the fact that
Yugi and Joey were the one probably yelling at him that scared him. Bakura
didn�t take kindly to being falsely accused and he defiantly wouldn�t like Yugi
of all people accusing him of something he didn�t even do. Ryou gave out an
exasperasighsigh as he pulled himself out of bed, happy to find the numb
feeling finally gone and that he was able to walk again. He walked into the
kitchen and was surprised to find Malik still awake.
�What are you doing still awake?� Ryou asked �And still here
I thought you went home.�
�No, I was just waiting for Bakura to come home is all, I
thought you went to sleep.� Malik said raising an eyebrow at Ryou.
�Couldn�t sleep, I hope Bakura hasn�t got himself in
trouble.� Ryou said taking a seat at the table across from Malik.
�He can handle himself Ryou, he�ll be fine.� Malik said
�Then why are you still awake?� Ryou asked
�I�m a night owl Ryou, I sleep during the day and stay awake
during the night. Me and Bakura are both like that.� Malik said
Malik looked at Ryou for a moment, he still wanted to know
what was really wrong with him regardless of what he was earning from not
knowing. He had a pretty good idea although he wasn�t sure if he should mention
it, he didn�t want to offend Ryou�or Yami. Malik gave a deep sigh, which caught
Ryou�s attention.
�Are you okay?� Ryou asked
�Fine�could we make a deal?� Malik asked
Ryou paused ��what kind of deal?� Ryou asked cautiously
�If I guess what is wrong with you, and I�m right, you will
tell me everything about the situation.� Malik said
�And what do I get?� Ryou asked
�You wont have to kiss me.� Malik said
�What if you don�t guess it?� Ryou asked
�I�ll keep on guessing until I do.� Malik said
�Alright.� Ryou said looking straight at Malik.
Malik swallowed he knew what he wanted to ask but wasn�t
sure if he should word it delicately or not.
�Yami is the one hurting you isn�t he?� Malik said
Ryou sat back in his chair and looked at Malik curiously, he
didn�t even expect him to guess even close to the truth, and defiantly not on
his first guess. Ryou �t s�t say a word.
�I take your silence as a yes�� Malik said
�How in the world did you know?� Ryou asked
�Why else all the questions about me and Bakura? Besides I
know Bakura is not hitting you again, who else would? Especially with Yami willing
to kill the person who does lay a hand on you, he would be the only one who
would hit you.� Malik said
�Oh no Malik, you�ve got it all wrong he�s not hitting me at
all.� Ryou said trying to correct the mistake.
�But you said it was Yami who was hurting you though.� Malik
said
�Yes, but they�re accidents�he doesn�t mean to.� Ryou said
�You can only have an accident so many times Ryou.� Malik
said
�He doesn�t even know he has hurt me�I didn�t ever tell
him.� Ryou said
��Why not?� Malik said
�Because I love him Malik�I don�t want to hurt our
relationship in any way.� Ryou said desperately.
�So you would rather hurt yourself?� Malik said,
�How do you tell the man you love that the ltimetime you
made love you were in agony?� Ryou asked �Its not something easily worded
Malik.� Ryou said
�Oh, he�s hurting you in bed�Malik said hesitantly.
�Yes, he would never consciously hurt me, except when we
make love�� Ryou paused. �He doesn�t seem to know his own strength sometimes.�
Ryou shook his head
�Ryou you have to tell him, it will only get worse as it
goes along.� Malik said

�I know, why do you think I stayed home today? My legs hurt
to much.� Ryou said looking away.
�Bakura is going to be angry when he hears this�� Malik said
�You can�t tell him!� Ryou said nearly jumping across the
table. �You saw how he reacted when he found out about me and Yami dating, how
do you think he�ll react if he finds out Yami has been hurting me!� Ryou
exclaimed
�Not nearly as mad as he would be finding out from someone
other than you or me.� Malik countered.
�Malik you don�t understand! Yami and Bakura hate each
other! They will never get along in my lifetime. I don�t need them to get
along, but I do need them to tolerate one another and�Malik please!� Ryou
begged
�You�re just digging yourself a deeper hole Ryou, he�ll find
out one way or another.� Malik said
�But I would rather Yami know before Bakura�at least that
way Yami can be prepared.� Ryou said sighing deeply.
Malik shook his head slightly at Ryou. It must be hard having
the people most important in your life constantly at each other�s throat.
�If it ever gets to much to handle I�ll be happy to serve as
a replacement for either of them.� Malik said with a grin.
�You�re not helping� Ryou said not amused
�You seriously need to lighten up Ryou.� Malik said sitting
next to Ryou
�Sorry if I have had other things on my mind
recently�relationships can be such a pain sometimes.� Ryou said leaning on
Malik�s chest for support.
Malik smiled Ryou was too adorable for his own good; Malik
couldn�t help but smile and shake his head at him.
�Its amazing you have been attacked or something.� Malik
said
Ryou looked at him curiously moving away from him. �What
brought that on?� Ryou asked
�Two reason�s One: You are incredibly beautiful and Two: You
are incredibly vulnerable. Not to offend you or anything its just�� Malik
stopped
�I know, most people if they wanted something they could
easily take it from me�I�m not exactly masculine.� Ryou said leaning back into
Malik
�But that�s what makes you so adorable Ryou, probably why
Yami loves you so much.� Malik said standing.
Suddenly Bakura busted through the door. Malik rolled his
eyes expecting this.
�Ryou you better tell me how the hell Yugi got the idea I
was beating you into his head!� Bakura yelled.

Well how was it? Next chapter might have a little Malik/Ryou
lemon if you want it, but you must request it if you want it otherwise I wont
do it. PLEASE REVIEW!
