Disclaimer: I do not own YuGiOh!, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
Disclaimer: I've sifted through all of my possessions, and nowhere amongst them did I find
Yu-Gi-Oh, so I've concluded that I do not own it.
Warnings: Yaoi, proceed with caution. Perhaps a little OOC. I tried to make them act as they
usually do and only play around with their thoughts, but you never know. Also, I got the title
from a Shania n lyn lyric: "We mighta took the long way/We knew we'd get there someday"
from You're Still The One. It should tell you that Jou and Seto will not just be jumping into bed
together. If it doesn't, I'm telling you: Jou and Seto will not just be jumping into bed together. If
that's what you're looking for I suggest you try a different fic. Thank you.
Before we begin: I'd just like to thank everyone who was kind enough to review Affirmations.
This story is dedicated to you wonderful people. To those of you who haven't read Affirmations:
shame on you, why are you reading the companion fo a o a story you didn't even read? No, I'm
just kidding. However, I suggest you go give Affirmations a look because a lot of the issues I am
trying to resolve throughout this story are based on their appearance in that story. Also, as far as
the pairings, this will most likely be ending up JouKai, but I'm not really sure what to do with
Malik and Marik (I don't want tot rat randomly pair them with someone else) so who knows. I
guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
It was a general occurrence that when Kaiba Seto entered the classroom, everyone noticed. Some
students stared, some averted their eyes, some took a quick glance at the CEO before proceeding
to ignore him, and others expressed their wish for his demise with their eyes. It lasted for only a
handful of seconds, and then Kaiba would walk to his desk and people returned to what they were
doing. So when Kaiba entered the classroom and a chorus of gasps rose from the students, it drew
attention. Especially the attention of one honey eyed blond on the other side of the room.
Jounouchi glanced over at his self-proclaimed rival, and almost gasped himself.
The CEO's face was noticeably different from when he had last seen him yesterday. The masculine
features, so often set in a scowl, were disrupted by a darkness around his left eye. The blue of
Kaiba's bruised eye appeared even brighter against the dark background, but the glare he was
giving his classmates remained as icy as ever. The swelling must have made it painful to narrow
his eyes like that, but you'd never know it from looking at the CEO. Then again nothing ever
seemed to phase Kaiba, Jounouchi's cruel words yesterday had been a rare exception.
As Jounouchi stared at trim rim countenance, it took a moment for it all to sink in; bruised skin,
swollen flesh, darkness around his eye--someone had given Kaiba a black eye.
Yugi turned around in his seat when he heard a loud snap come from behind him. What he found
was Jounouchi staring over at Kaiba with a half of his formally whole no.2 pencil in each of his
hands. The blond's hands were clenched tightly around the broken halves of pencil, and he was
shaking ever so slightly as he watched Kaiba make his way to his desk in the back of the room.
Realizing something had upset his best friend, Yugi also turned to take a better look at Kaiba, not
at all pleased with what he saw.
Making his way to his desk, Seto could feel everyone's eyes on him, following him a he walked
with his head held high. The mixed murmurs reached his ears, and he knew what it was that held
their interest: the black/blue swelling on his face. His own personal reminder os ens encounter with
Marik yesterday. He had made no attempts to hide it, and it stood out brightly against his pale
skin, his very own scarlet letter telling the world he was a sinner. He was sure his gossip prone
classmates would draw their own conclusions about what happened to him, but he smiled darkly
to himself knowing they would never even come close to the truth.
Taking his seat, Seto pulled out his novel and went about shutting out the noise around him. He
wanted to believe that he could care less what these idiots thought of him. All the same, he
discreetly looked over at a certain blond to see if a pair of concerned honey eyes were watching
him. He felt something close to disappointment grab a hold of him when he realized the mutt
wasn't even looking at him. Pushing the feeling away, he returned to reading his novel with a
greater amount of effort than the task normally required. His brain seemed more interested in
pondering why he had been hoping to see those eyes looking at him with something other than the
contempt he normally saw. He shouldn't have needed to analyze it, he already knew the answer-it
was just a matter of admitting it.
As the noise level in the classroom gradually returned to normal, everyone seemed to avoid the
one topic on all of their minds. Sure they were all curious and full of conjectures, but not a single
one of them wanted to risk being overheard and facing the CEO's wrath. Several pairs of eyes
stole glances at Jounouchi. They all knew he'd been to see the principle the day before, and if
anyone had fought with Kaiba, Jounouchi was the likely culprit. However at the moment the
blond had his head resting atop his desk, cradled by his arms, and appeared to be asleep.
"Um, Jounouchi?"
Wide lavender eyes greeted Jounouchi as he looked into his petit friend's face.
"Yeah Yugi?" Jounouchi smiled, pushing away his anger and releasing the broken pencil from his
grasp.
"I was just wondering...I mean not that I'm accusing you or anything, it's just," Yugi stole a glance
at Kaiba. "Did you..."
"I didn't do it," Jounouchi assured.
Yugi smiled at him and nodded. "Good."
Jounouchi sighed, he wasn't sure he'd have been able to tell Yugi even if he had done that to
Kaiba. The thought of someone's fist connecting with Kaiba's face brought back all the anger he'd
previously been feeling. If he ever found out who...
Timely as always, the teacher's arrival broke off Jounouchi's current train of thought, and sent
Yugi scurrying back to his seat.
With the start the day's lesson, Jounouchi actually put some effort into trying to pay attention for
once. Unfortunately, he failed miserably. His thoughts seemed to continually turn to Kaiba,
something they seemed to be doing more and more often lately.
Who had slugged the CEO? He knew Kaiba had left after their fight, but Jounouchi had assumed
he went into work. However it was doubtful that one of his employees had hit him, so he must
have gone somewhere else. But where, and why had someone hit him? Kaiba wasn't exactly
defenseless, so how had someone gotten the better of him? What was their motive and had they
walked away injured as well? Had Kaiba just been in the wrong place at the wrong time or was it
something more serious?
These thoughts and questions continued to swim around in Jounouchi's brain until a harsh slap to
his back brought him back to reality and sent him reeling forward. He barely managed to get his
hands out to brace himself in order to stop his head from colliding with his desk. The annoyingly
familiar sound of female laughter flitted through the air, and Jounouchi jumped out of his desk.
Spinning around, he encountered the smug countenance of Otogi.
"What the hell was that about?" Jounouchi grumbled hostilely.
A blonde Otogi groupie stepped between the two boys.
"Otogi just wanted to talk to you, you could be a little more respectful," she chided.
Jounouchi snorted. "Yeah, I'll try that sometime when he hasn't just hit me."
"Hey, you're lucky I didn't pelt you with dice," Otogi teased. "Besides, I didn't hit you. It was a
congratulatory slap."
"Congratulatory? What did he do that was so great?" Honda asked, seeming to pop up out of
nowhere and join the conversation.
Otogi smiled slyly. "Rumor has it Jounouchi here kicked Kaiba's ass yesterday. I was a little
skeptical myself, but that shiner speaks for itself." Otogi tossed a die into the air and deftly caught
it again. "You're practically a hero Jounouchi."
Jounouchi momentarily considered taking credit for Kaiba's black eye. However, thoughts of
being carried around on his classmates' shoulders and people chanting his name were quickly
replaced with a memory of Kaiba's eyes yesterday. That loneliness that so rarely showed itself,
usually so expertly hidden by it's owner. Kaiba had been hurt emotionally, and now he had the
bruises to back it up.
"It's not true Otogi," Jounouchi began. "I didn't lay a finger on Kaiba. I didn't even catch up with
him yesterday when I chased after him. Sure wish I had though, I really wanted to give him a
piece of my mind." Jounouchi waved his clenched fist around as if to emphasize his point
Honda eyed his best friend warily. He knew Jounouchi was lying, the blond had told him about
the fight he'd had with Kaiba. It had scared the crap out of Jounouchi, and Jounouchi's reaction to
it had scared the crap out of Honda. However, Jounouchi hadn't mentioned hitting Kaiba, so
either he didn't do it or he didn't feel he could confide that fact to Honda. Whatever the case may
be, it was obvious to him that Jounouchi didn't want to talk about it anymore, and certainly not in
front of the entire class. Time to come to his rescue.
"I can't believe people actually think you could have gotten the better of Kaiba. Man, they should
have seen him fling you to the ground at Duelist Kingdom," Honda teased.
Aware of what his friend was doing, Jounouchi fell into the familiar argument.
"Please, Kaiba just caught me off guard then. I could easily beat that asshole in a fight."
"You can't even beat me up anymore Jounouchi," Honda countered playfully and, as expected, the
blond lunged at him starting the scuffle that followed.
Otogi, not wanting to get caught in the line of fire, headed back across the hall to his own
classroom. His legions of fangirls faithfully followed.
When Honda finally released Jounouchi from a headlock for the start of second period, he heard
his friend give a whispered thank you. It would appear that he was thanking him for releasing him,
but Honda knew what the blond was truly grateful for. He wasn't sure exactly what had happened
between Kaiba and Jounouchi yesterday, but just from what Jounouchi told him and the fact that
Kaiba had a black eye gave him the impression that things were changing. What he didn't know,
was wether they were changing for the better or if this was just a sign that things were getting
worse.
Only time would tell.
It was halfway through third period when Kaiba was called to the principal's office. Rising to his
feet, he shot Jounouchi an icier than usual glare. He'd been expecting the principal to call for him
all morning, knowing the mutt wouldn't have passed up the chance to get him in trouble
yesterday. He knew he shouldn't be surprised that Jounouchi had ratted him out, but the fact that
he actually had pissed the brunet off.
As he approached the vice principal who had come to fetch him, he noticed the balding man
eyeing him suspiciously.
"What?" Seto snapped.
The vice principal motioned to the large metal briefcase in Kaiba's hand.
"You won't be needing that," he said.
Seto eyed him steadily.
"That's you're opinion." He managed to refrain from adding, 'and the only opinion that matters is
mine.' All of his work was in that briefcase (his other nearly identical one held all his cards and his
duel disc), and that meant that wherever he went it came along. It was simple matter of security.
Choosing to ignore the school's most promising student, the man turned around and led Kaiba
towards the main office.
"You can go right in," the vice principal informed him when they red thd their destination, and
that's exactly what Kaiba did.
Pushing open the door, Seto came face to face with an oh too familiar sight: an older man in a
nice suit staring him down from behind a desk. Much to his annoyance, Seto knew he couldn't
exactly go up against the principal with the same ferocity he used against The Big 5. Although he
was pleased to note that at least the principal wasn't trying to kill him; as far as he knew anyway.
"Please have a seat," the principal, Mr. Narita, stated neutrally.
Seto took a seat directly across from the aging man, amused by the comfort of the chair. Any
good businessman knew that when it came to office chairs all of them should be uncomfortable
except yours. Distracted by their discomfort, your 'opponent' was more likely to agree to things
your way simply so they could leave. Sitting up straight, Seto crossed his long legs at the knee
and folded his arms across his chest. He had nothing to say to this pompous old man, so he waited
for him to talk instead.
"Well Mr. Kaiba, I'm sure you know why you're here," Mr. Narita began casually.
"Actually, I'm don't," Seto stated coldly. Never reveal anything on the assumption that the other
person already knows it; another lesson from Gozaburo.
Mr. Narita looked startled. Apparently he HAD been counting on Kaiba to confess to something.
The man quickly recovered though and leaned forward a little, hoping to still draw the truth out
of the arrogant student.
"As you are probably aware, Mr. Jounouchi was brought in here to see me yesterday."
"I wasn't aware of that sir. Jounouchi and I aren't exactly friends, so he didn't get around to
updating me on how he spent his time yesterday," came Seto's snide reply.
The principal's brows came together as he frowned, not liking Seto's demeanor at all.
"Let's drop the attitude Mr. Kaiba. I'm not one of your employees, you can neither boss me
around, nor can you have me fired because you don't like what I have to say. So let's show a little
respect shall we?"
Seto's fists clenched. Mr. Narita had him there. As a student, this adult outranked him. Seto was
one of the most important people in the gaming industry, but within the walls of this school he
was practically powerless. Teachers and administrators alike despised him for his success at such
a young age unaware of the high price he had paid, and took every opportunity to exercise their
authority over him. Hell, they practically sat around waiting for him to mess up. Seto couldn't do
anything in response because one of the conditions of his being awarded custody of Mokuba was
that he attend and graduate high school. He wasn't about to do anything to risk losing Mokuba, so
he let them hate him, let them single him out. Now that Jounouchi had given them a reason to
come down hard on him, he coonlyonly imagine what they would do.
"I'm sorry sir, it's just that I don't see what Jounouchi's being sent to see you could have to do
with me. I was under the impression that he's sent to see you quite often." Seto's voice was polite
and his body language had become slightly less defensive, but all it took was a look at his face to
see that he wasn't sincere about it.
"He was sent to see me for fighting," Mr. Narita remarked. The man was practically salivating at
the thought of putting the arrogant CEO in his place. "and you'll never guess who he says he was
fighting with."
"I don't play guessing games," Seto ground out. This man was not only trying his patience, he was
seriously underestimating him
Mr. Narita leaned forward and took a closer look at Kaiba, who he at this point considered his
cornered prey.
"Where did you get that black eye?"
"That isn't any of your business," Seto replied dangerously.
"It is if it occurred on the premises of this school." Now he had him. "Perhaps you got it during
your fight with Mr. Jounouchi yesterday?" Mr. Narita suggested.
"That's quite an impossibility," Seto countered. "I never fought with Jounouchi yesterday." It
never failed to amaze Seto how easily he was able to lie. Of course, this was only a partial lie. He
HAD fought with Jounouchi yesterday, but the blond hadn't done the damage to his face. It was
only his heart that the mutt had unknowingly bruised during his viscous verbal assault.
"Is that so?" The principal asked snidely.
"Yes, I left yesterday during lunch. I had an important business meeting, and not that it's any of
your business, but I got this bruise while wrestling with my younger brother." Again with the lies,
and now he was dragging Mokuba into them. What was wrong with him?
"Well," Mr. Narita said, obviouslyappoappointed. "It seems your story matches Mr. Jounouchi's
then."
Seto's mind reeled. The mutt hadn't told them it was him that he was fighting with? He'd done
Seto a favor? The fact that Jounouchi had passed up a chance to get him in trouble made Seto
instantly suspicious. He managed to quickly recover himself though, and the only indication that
he had been surprised at all was the slight widening of his unsettling blue eyes.
"I should think it would," he managed with his usual confidence. "I didn't fight with him
yesterday, so I can't imagine he would say that I had."
"Yes, Mr. Jounouchi claims that he was shouting at himself in the hallway yesterday," Mr. Narita
explained. "Says he was mad at himself for failing yet another test. Seems he decided to go down
to the art room and vent some of his frustration."
To hear the principal speak, it was obvious he didn't believe the story for a moment.
Unfortunately, both boys were denying they fought and only Jounouchi had been caught by the
vice principal. Nothing could really be done to Kaiba unless one of them changed their story, and
of the two, Kaiba Seto wasn't the weak link.
"Well, I don't really see what Jounouchi's odd habits have to do with me." Seto was unable to
keep the annoyance out of his voice, but he was growing tired of this game anyway. They had
nothing on him, and without any proof they couldn't do anything. "If there's nothing else, I'd like
to go back to class."
Mr. Narita's suspicious eyes studied him for just a moment more before he gave a curt nod of the
head.
>"Ye>"Yes, I suppose I just wanted to verify the story."
Kaiba had his hand on the doorknob when he heard that loathsome voice again.
"It is odd though that the vice principal and all the teachers who were there swear they heard two
voices though isn't it?"
Seto resisted the urge to freeze up, a sure sign of guilt or nerves, and simply walked out of the
office. He was off the hook for the time being, although it was likely that now they would all be
watching him more closely. He'd just have to be careful. There was no way he was letting these
ignorant fools get the better of him.
Disregarding everything he had just discovered, he found himself haunted by one thought all the
way back to class: why hadn't Jounouchi turned him in?
Jounouchi watched most of the students file out of the classroom. Pretty soon, there were only a
few students left. The majority of those who left were off to play basketball, or some other sport
outdoors. Honda had raced off to the library in an attempt to do the book report he had forgotten
about in the hopes that he could finish before the lunch break was over. Jounouchi knew from
personal experience that the brunet wasn't going to succeed. He, on the other hand, had been
resourceful enough to rent the movie last weekend. He figured they couldn't be THAT different.
After all, the movie was based on the book right?
"Hey Jounouchi, want to play this new game with me? My grandpa just got it in yesterday, it's
kinda like an early birthday present." Yugi's voice held a sort of quiet excitement to it. "Anyway,
it doesn't look too hard so I thought maybe we could play."
Jounouchi was just about to agree to play, when out of the corner of his eye he spotted K's
's
lithe form slipping out of the classroom.
"That sounds like fun Yugi, but I need to go wash my hands really quick. Why don't you get it set
up and we'll play when I get back alright?" Jounouchi smiled softly at his friend, all the time
itching to chase after Kaiba.
"Ok," Yugi agreed and started turning his desk to face Jounouchi's, giving them an ample amount
of room to play.
"I'll be right back," Jounouchi promised as he started to make his way out of the classroom.
Entering the bathroom he found the tall figure he had expected to find in there. The cold blue eyes
were staring at their own reflection in the mirror, and once again seemed to be burning with
hatred for the image they found there. Jounouchi just watched Seto for a moment, caught up in
the eerie picture the sullen CEO made. He didn't even realize his own image appeared in the
mirror until Kaiba's eyes shifted to it and he spoke.
"What do you want mutt?" Seto inquired. He couldn't help but be captivated by the way his
reflection and Jounouchi's appeared together in the mirror. They stood nowhere near each other in
reality, but the mirror didn't account for that distance, placing Jounouchi just over Seto's shoulder.
Had he cared to do so, Seto could have tilted his head to appear as if he were leaning it against
Jounouchi's shoulder. It was an intimate gesture he would never attempt in reality, but part of him
still wondered how it would look.
"I just wanted to talk to you actually," Jounouchi told him. He noticed that while Seto had used
the insulting nickname, his voice didn't hold it's normal animosity. It was like he wasn't even
trying. Perhaps this was what Seto sounded like when talking to people he didn't hate as much as
he hated Jounouchi.
The mirror's spell was shattered at the sound of Jounouchi's voice, and Seto whirled around to
face him.
"Don't you think you said enough yesterday?" Seto asked coldly.
Jounouchi winced. If he didn't think the brunet would laugh in his face, he would have taken the
time to apologize for his behavior. Sure he hated the idea of telling Kaiba he was sorry, but he had
said some horrible things to him. The challenge in those blue eyes compelled him to remain quiet
though; his pride wouldn't allow him to give Kaiba the satisfaction of an apology. Something
about admitting he was wrong seemed to imply that Kaiba had been right and there was no way in
hell Jounouchi was going to admit to that.
"This isn't about that, it's about that shiner you're sporting."
Seto's body tensed and his hand tightened on the handle of his briefcase.
"THAT is none of YOUR business mutt," Seto stressed.
The CEO's defensive reaction confirmed Jounouchi's suspicion that whatever had happened, it
hadn't been an accident. Someone had deliberately given Kaiba that black eye.
"It is when people are saying I did it," Jounouchi countered.
"Yes," Seto sneered. "I'm surprised you're not taking credit for it. Nevertheless, how or why I got
it is none of your business."
Kaiba's voice held a finality that anyone else would have heeded, but Jounouchi had never been
the cautious type.
"Dammit Kaiba! Either you tell me how you got that black eye, or I'll give you another one,"
Jounouchi threatened. He was bluffing of course, but Kaiba didn't need to know that.
"Does it bother you that much Jounouchi?" Kaiba asked in mock surprise. "Does it bother you to
know there's someone else out there who hates me more than you do? Someone else who has the
nerve to fight with me? Another person who can get close enough to place their hands on me?"
Seto slowly advanced on Jounouchi as he spoke, and now stood directly in front of the blond. It
would be so easy to reach out and touch him, so simple to find out if that mop of blond hair was
as soft as it looked, to tangle his fingers in it and close the distance between them. He could
almost feel the warmth of the mutt's body against him...
Jounouchi was startled to see Kaiba suddenly retreat several steps. There had been a sort of
hunger in those deep blue depths as they stared at him, and he had been so tempted to reach out
and draw Kaiba forward the extra few inches until they would be pressed up against each other.
Now the brunet was halfway across the room from him and once again out of reach.
"Tell me what happened," he said slowly. Jounouchi was overwhelmed with the need for fresh air,
but he hadn't gotten his answer yet and for some unexplainable reason he NEEDED to know.
Seto shook his head free of all confusing thoughts. He hadn't just been about to...to kiss...to do
SOMETHING to the mutt, and he sure as hell wasn't going to confide in him. There was no need
to give the blond something else to hate him for.
"Not going to happen," Seto answered defiantly. "I do have a question of my own though. Why
didn't you tell the principal you were fighting with me yesterday?"
Jounouchi blinked. Why hadn't he told Mr. Narita about Kaiba? Why had he protected him frome ole old man's wrath, opting for an additional two weeks of detentions instead?
"It was what that old coot wanted, and I wasn't about to do what he wanted," Jounouchi finally
replied. "Besides, you think I wanted to get stuck in detention with your antisocial ass?"
Seto eyed him uneasily. "What do you want?"
"What?" Jounouchi asked, genuinely surprised.
"You didn't turn me in, but it's entirely possible that you still will. You obviously want something
for your silence," Seto pointed out.
"Shit, are you always this suspicious of people?"
"Yes," came the instantaneous reply. "Now what is it that you're after Jounouchi?"
Valid question, but one Jounouchi didn't have an answer for. So instead, he just stared at Kaiba.
Seto saw this action as a challenge, and stared right back. They fell into a sort of tunnel vision,
where all they could see was each other, where the air became thicker and harder to breathe, and
hearts beat faster than normal. Both boys were hesitant to move or look away, and so they just
stood there...staring at each other.
Finally Jounouchi's eyes dried out and he was forced to blink. In that short instant, Seto found his
chance to look away without backing down and he took it.
Jounouchi once again saw Kaiba transfixed by his own image in the mirror and was half tempted
to ask the CEO what it was he saw in his reflection. He remembered the pain of struggling to
breathe while Kaiba's forearm cut off his air yesterday and decided against it. In fact, even though
he had been the one to seek out the brunet, all he wanted at the moment was to be far away from
him. Being near the duelist was proving to be far too confusing.
"I don't want anything from you Kaiba." Jounouchi announced as he turned to leave. Back to the
other teen, he missed Seto flinch at his words.
When he heard the door close behind the blond, Seto took a chance to vent his frustrations. What
had he been expecting, that Jounouchi was going to come in here and apologize? That the mutt
would tell him he hadn't meant a thing he'd said yesterday? That he'd say he wanted to be friends,
maybe more?
Seto's reflection seemed to be mocking him. One look at it and he saw what everyone else did, the
cold arrogant jerk. No wonder everyone hated him.
No! That wasn't true, he was the one who hated them. He didn't need friends, they would only get
in his way and hold him back. He didn't care what others thought he kept reminding himself. Still,
his reflection showed him the truth. The dark swelling around his eye was simply a reminder of
what he truly was, what he deserved.
Before he could even think of the consequences, Seto sent his fist flying towards the mirror. Glass
shattered around his hand and the hateful image disappeared. Surveying the damage Seto smirked
cruelly to himself. It wasn't until he looked down that he even noticed his hand was bleeding.
"Shit!"
Pulling out his cell phone, he once again called for his driver to come and get him. There was no
way he was going back to class like this, and he couldn't exactly go to the school nurse. Aside
from the fact that he deemed her to be incompetent, she would send him straight to the principal.
Breaking school property--Mr. Narita was sure to feel such behavior warranted a suspension.
Seto clenched his uninjured hand around the handle of his briefcase and let out a shaky breath. He
wasn't going to let that happen. He carefully pulled out the few pieces of glass stuck in his hand
and tossed them in the trash. Using a makeshift bandage of paper towels to stop the bleeding for
now, Seto discreetly made his way to the front of the school. If anyone saw that his hand was
injured, it wouldn't be hard to connect him to the broken mirror once it was discovered.
Stepping into the black BMW, he noted that other than the hand wound this was all for the best.
He had canceled several meetings yesterday to go see Malik, and while he had stayed up most of
the night reworking some of the new programs, he was still behind. He could use this time to
catch up and get those meetings rescheduled.
The entire ride to Kaiba Corp, one phrase ran endlessly through his mind.
/I don't want anything from you Kaiba./
That may be so, but he owed Jounouchi a favor...and Kaiba's always payed their debts.
Jade Says: I'm not really sure what I think of this chapter. I just sat down and typed, and this was
what came out. I realize the general conviction among fanfiction writers is that the teachers and
administrators are afraid of Kaiba because he's rich and powerful, but it's always been my
experience that they would be resentful of someone so young having so much more than them. So
that's how I approached it. Besides, just cause you're rich doesn't mean you can have anyone you
want fired as far as I know.
I was planning to post this Saturday, but I got caught up watching The Ghost and The Darkness
on tv (Val Kilmer...) and then I had to go back to work now that it's October so I've been stuck in
rehearsals the last few days. That being said, reviews would be appreciated. This story isn't really
a priority right now, but I can certainly make it one should the need arise. Anyway, just let me
know what you think.
Also, I highly recommend you don't break mirrors with your fist, my parent's son has done this on
several occasions and he has informed me it hurts like hell.
Sorry for rambling, I just can't help myself.
