Author's Note & Discalimer:
I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! or any of the characters. I do, however, own Lily. This has an OC, so if you don't like OC's, don't read and flame me later. If you do like OC's and just thought the story sucked, feel free.
Also, there are some references to looking down at gay/lesbian/bisexual people, but it is important to the story and I want to clear up now that these are *not my views* on the subject. So please do not say that I am mean or cruel. I'm not. I do not look down on anyone. So if you are uncomfortable reading such material, I'd advise you to turn back now.
On that note, on the with show!
But review please! :)

Chapter 1: Meeting Jasmine

Tea walked through the halls of Domino High School in a kind of sad daze; She was having a really bad day. When she first got out of bed, she was so late that she didn't have a chance to shower. She got to school late, despite her rush. When she went to class, her teacher surprised them with a lovely pop quiz that she was certain she had failed- Chemistry was not her subject. She sighed.
"What else could go wrong?" she aske herself, hugging her books closer to her body. "At least it's lunch time."

Instead of going to the cafeteria where she would normally join her friends, Joey, Tristan and Yugi, she made her way to the exit doors. Even though her day was not the best, she would try to lighten her mood by sitting in the sun for a little while. She walked to the tree that she sat under when she wanted time to think; think about the things that she never dared speak of to even her closest of friends.

Recently, Tea had discovered something about herself that took a substantial amount of time to come to terms with; She was bisexual. At first she had thought that she was a lesbian, but, after thinking it through a little more carefully, she realized that her sexual preferences pretty much evened out between the two genders. She knew in her heart that her friends should know, that they would probably understand, but she also knew that this type of thing was uncommon in her school, and widely frowned upon.

She often wondered just how her three faithful friends would react to this knowledge, but once again, she never dared speak of it. The almost inevitable cruelty and stereotyping that would follow it was not something she wanted for herself. So she chose to keep it to herself. At least for now.

Tea was torn from her thoughts as a cloud passed over the sun, casting shadows on the ground that swiftly filled the schoolyard. She raised her eyes to the sky, to be met by small drops of water. "Great." She thought. She got to her feet and picked up her books, and turned to walk back into the school. But something caught her attention. Not too far away, a girl was making her way back into the school as well, but she was crying. Tea had never saw this girl before, and she didn't look as if she was from Domino.

Just as Tea was passing the girl, she heard a quiet "Oomph!" from behind her, and turned to see what it was. She looked down and saw the strange girl on her knees, her things scattered on the ground, which was starting to turn to mud from the falling rain. Because she felt sorry for the girl, or because she was intrigued by her, Tea did not know, but she knelt down and started picking up the girl's scattered belongings.

She picked up the last paper when she heard a soft voice very close to her ear. "Thank you.." The girl said, getting to her feet. Tea climbed up herself and noticed that the girl had gotten very dirty. She passed the papers and books to her and smiled. "You must be new here." she said. "I'm Tea." She extended a hand toward the girl, who looked at it nervously. "I'm Jasmine." She said.
'Her voice is so soft..' Tea thought, though was torn from it when an equally soft hand touched her own. She smiled again, shaking Jasmine's hand lightly.

The two girls stood there, their hands still gently gripping eachothers, for a few moments. The were getting soaked, but neither girl cared. Tea was entranced by Jasmine's soft features; She had long, wavy blonde hair and soft green eyes. Her skin was soft and pale, with seemingly no color, exdcept for the faint blush of her cheeks. She was about Tea's size, and was wearing the same uniform. The only thing that set her apart from the other students was the silver cross that hung from her neck. Since most of the population of Domino were Buddhists, a Christian cross was very uncommon.

While Tea was looking at Jasmine, she was taking in Tea as well. She loved how friendly she was and instantly developed respect for her, for the help she had given her. She was having a terrible first day, due to her shyness, and now all of that seemed far away and over. She smiled for the first time that day, unknowingly making Tea's heart skip a beat. Just then, the bell rang, signalling the start of afternoon classes, and the girls were snapped out of their trance. They slowly let go of eachother's hand and drew back. Tea smiled as well, and they walked into the school together. On the way to class, Tea couldn't help but think to herself that she had her first serious bisexual crush.
