GX Dark Toon Terror
A duelist has defeated Pegasus. With his new deck, he goes and reeks havoc on Duel Island. Season 3 but without Yubel, Viper holds a tournament but no evil is behind it.
Chap 1 Dark Toons Rising
A dark cloaked figure walked up to Industrial Illusions. His aura reeked of darkness; he held up a duel disk and chuckled as he entered the building. Everyone he passed or approached him was knocked out, as the man built up the shadows around him. Those who had no experience with shadow games or a spirit to protect them fell prey to the shadows. “I’m coming for you Pegasus…”
Pegasus was in his office with Chumley about his latest card design. Both males felt a shiver run down their spines as the man entered the room. “Hehehehe. So Pegasus, how ya been? How is the eye?” The man said as he walked into the room laughing. Pegasus rose in anger. “Telvis! How dare you come here?”
“You know why I’m here Pegasus. You bested me all those years ago using that damn eye of yours. And you even sent me into the Shadow Realm. I’ve heard that you have changed your ways, but in the shadows I gained some power myself. I’m here to crush you and make you pay!!” His duel disk started up and the room filled with darkness. “Chumley-boy run…” Pegasus yelled and was shocked to see a duel spirit appear and protect him from the effects of the Shadow Realm. The massive koala-like monster stood guard in front of the male. ‘At least he is safe for now…’
Pegasus whipped out a duel disk, he had gotten used to them after they became more popular. “You called a Shadow Game? Do you know what you’re even doing Telvis…?” Pegasus snapped as he placed his Toon World Deck into the deck holder. “You have no idea Pegasus. This is just a beginning. After I crush you, I’m gonna head to duel academy and make it into my own personal play ground…”
“You can’t!!” Chumley shouted and received a glare from Telvis. “Be silent! The grownups are dueling, you can have the first go…” he said while taunting Pegasus.
Telvis’ LP: 4000/Pegasus: 4000
The company head drew his cards and got ready to duel. “I will start off with the powerful Toon World…” as he paid 1,000 life points. (Pegasus’s LP->3000). A cartoon-like book sprang out of nowhere and opened revealing a cartoon-like castle pop up. “With this on my field, I will summon the Toon Mermaid…” A cartoon shell appeared and opened to reveal a cartoon mermaid armed with a childish bow and arrow. (Toon Mermaid’s ATK: 1400)
Telvis laughed as he drew a card. “I play Toon Space TV…” A giant TV with eyes appeared. The screen appeared as a swirling vortex. “You have Toon Monsters!?” Pegasus yelled in shock. Telvis just chuckled. “I activate Horror Channel…” The spell card activated and the swirling vortex became a graveyard-like scene. “With this channel I can call forth Toon Zombie!!” A cartoonish Zombie erupted from the TV screen. (Toon Zombie’s ATK: 1000)
“An interesting monster, however it is still not strong enough to beat my mermaid…” Pegasus spoke. Telvis placed 2 cards face-down and ended his turn.
Pegasus started his turn by drawing a card and set it face-down. “Now attack Toon Mermaid! Destroy his Toon Zombie…” The mermaid drew an arrow and fired it. The arrow turned into a missile and hit Toon Zombie causing a huge explosion. (Telvis’ LP-> 3600). The smoke cleared however Toon Zombie still was on Telvis’ field. “Sorry Pegasus, so long as Horror Channel is in play, Toon Zombie cannot be destroyed. My turn…” He drew a card. “I Play the spell card Double Feature! This card allows me to Special Summon 2 monsters. With this, I summon Toon Werewolf and Toon Vampire!!” A cartoon-like wolf leapt from the screen laughing and howling before standing beside Toon Zombie, then a cartoon-like coffin came out of the screen and a cartoony vampire poked its head out from within. Little laughing bats circled its head. (Toon Werewolf ATK: 1500, Toon Vampire’s ATK: 2000)
“Now let’s end this! Attack Toon Werewolf…” The Toon monster eyed the mermaid and his jaw dropped, tongue rolling onto the floor, eyes becoming hearts, his heart beating out of his chest. “Yummy!!” he said before launching himself at her. “Not so fast! I activate Toon Guard. It switches my Toon monsters into Defense Mode.” Toon Mermaid ducked down and her clam sealed shut. (Toon Mermaid’s DEF: 1500). The clam created a fist and punched the werewolf causing him to fly back. “That won’t save you Pegasus. Toon Vampire…” The Toon monster turned into a swarm of bats and swarmed Toon Mermaid. She was devoured, clam and all. The bats then turned to Pegasus and attacked him as well. “My Toon Vampire’s effect takes a chunk out of your Life Points equal to the attack of the monster he destroys.” (Pegasus’ LP-> 1600). “Now attack Toon Zombie!” The zombie sped across the floor and bit Pegasus’ hand before he could react. It’s jagged teeth made him hiss in pain. (Pegasus’ LP-> 0600)
“It’s not over yet…” Pegasus said and drew a card. “I play Toon Magic. This card allows me to Special Summon Toon Dark Magician Girl. It also gives her an extra 500 attack points for the remainder of the duel.” Toon Dark Magician Girl appeared and her staff got an upgrade. (Toon Dark Magician Girl’s ATK: 2500). ‘I can’t be sure if his other monsters can be destroyed by battle so I will have to aim for his life points…’
“Now go attack his Toon Zombie…” The Toon turned her staff into a hammer and struck the zombie causing it to crunch down; it sprang back up like an accordion. (Telvis’ LP-> 2100). “I will set 2 cards face-down and end my turn…”
“That was your last turn Pegasus!!” He drew a card. “I play the spell card Toon Weaponry. This card turns one of my Toons into a weapon for another… I turn Toon Zombie into the Zombie Cannon…” The zombie folded up and became a cartoon-like gray cannon. It landed in the hands of Toon Vampire. (Toon Vampire’s ATK: 3000). “Now my Toon, attack with Bat Bullet Barrage…” The Toon grinned wide and fired a bat like missile. It exploded, sending a wave of bats down onto the female Toon. “Not so fast! I play Toon Swap this allows me to swap out my Toon monster for a stronger one. I summon Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragon.” Toon Dark Magician Girl blew a kiss before jumping into Pegasus’ hand. Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragon then jumped from another of Pegasus’ cards. The dragon Toon laughed at Toon Vampire’s attack and sent his own blast of energy at the vampire. They both exploded into a shower of smoke and cartoon sound effects.
The vampire stood unharmed but the cannon it was holding had disappeared. “Sorry, you lose Pegasus! Toon Werewolf, end him…” The Toon howled as he rushed forward, lunging at Pegasus. A punch from the Wolf hit Pegasus, causing him to fall towards the ground. (Pegasus’ Life Points-> 0000)
“You lose. Now to claim my spoils…” The monsters jumped back into Toon Space TV. Pegasus waited to be swallowed up by shadows. When nothing happened to him, he looked around and saw that Chumley was missing. “To the victor goes the spoils.” Telvis said with a sick grin. “No! I lost the duel. Take me, not Chumley…”
“Why would I take you? Now you get to suffer, knowing what your loss has cost an innocent boy…” Telvis said as he vanished using the shadows. Pegasus felt the last of his energy leave him and he fell into a dark sleep. ‘Jaden-boy, I am sorry I failed. You must defeat Telvis and rescue Chumley-boy…’
Jaden awoke with a start. An intense feeling of dread was washing over him. ‘Something’s wrong…’ Jaden thought. He was unable to go back to sleep.
