Author�s Note: Well, we finally come to a nice little explicit dream sequence in this chapter. Not that I really need to warm my readers but I thought to make mention of it. -your humble servant; khenemetset.

Chapter Two: Soul Searching

In five years Egypt hadn�t changed at all. It was amazing to Yugi as they made their way back to the tomb keepers place of residence. Yugi wasn�t really thinking about too much as he sat in the back of the car but his eyes did stray to the sands and to the ancient pyramids that passed. For some reason this place still felt like home to him even though he was no longer playing host of Atem�s spirit.
�You�ve changed Yugi,� Ishizu said as she turned her expressive blue eyes on him.
�Do you think so?� was his tired reply as he turned his head to look at her.
He knew he had changed; after all five years had passed and in that time anyone was given to change no matter how much they may have wanted to stop that passage of time. He turned and looked back out the window and gave another sigh.
�I think you have much weighing on you and not just what we discussed in our letters.� She looked out for a moment before she spoke once more. �I hope that you are able to find the balance within your life once more.�
�I do too.� was his simple reply, intoned with no emotions at all as he looked at the pyramids as they drove by them. �It�s been really hard the last few years.�
�I know. And for that I�m sorry.� she said softly as she placed a hand over his gently that was resting on his knee.
Yugi looked down at her hand on his and he gave a small smile. She was a comforting presence to him and the one he had told about his love for Atem first. For some reason he thought that she would understand best of anyone and he had been right. Ishizu had been very kind to him over the last five years listening and writing to him -consoling him in ways that he didn�t think his other friends would be able to.
�There�s nothing to be sorry for. You�ve helped me more in these last five years than anyone has. I�m lucky to have you as a friend. I don�t know what I might have done otherwise.� He gave her hand a squeeze and then gave a soft chuckle. �I�m so pathetic. Coming here in hopes that my confession will somehow be heard by him.�
�You have to follow your heart and there�s nothing wrong with that.�
�I suppose�but still I feel rather silly making you go through all these arrangements just for some love sick boy who can�t have what he wants most.�
�You�re being too hard on yourself, Yugi. We�re happy to have you here for as long as you wish to stay.� she said with a smile.
He returned her smile and then blinked as the finally noticed that the car stopped.
�We�re here.� said Marik softly.

�Yugi��
Sleep had come to Yugi the moment his head hit the pillow. The flight had been long and hard on him and jet lag prevented him from staying up any longer. But, sleep was nice especially when his dreams evolved in the manner that they did and the intensity of the dreams seemed to be more so with his current location.
�Yugi��
The strong voice of Atem came to his ears and he turned towards the voice his face lighting up with happiness at seeing the other. Without a second thought he ran into the pharaoh�s outstretched arms and soon found himself enveloped in their warmth and strength. He cuddled into that chest, his eyes closing and a sigh of contentment coming from his lips.
�I�ve missed you.� he spoke into his lover�s chest.
�As have I.�
He looked up at him and smiled before his lips were stolen in a deep and passionate kiss. He didn�t resist the kiss at all and he leaned more into it with each passing second that their lips remained connected.
::I�ve thought about nothing else but making you mine, Yugi.::
Came the heated mental words and those words were laced with a deep set desire, a longing for the other. That feeling made Yugi squirm with anticipation and he broke the kiss. His gentle fingers began to trace the outline of Atem�s face slowly then he looked into those eyes and he smiled even more.
�I give myself to you.�
They exchanged a secret smile and Atem took Yugi�s hand in his own and he lead him away from where they were. The darkness of the previous surroundings giving way to an exotic garden alight with a bright sun and cooled by the slightest of breezes. Yugi had never seen this place before though he had heard about the beauty that was said to be the pharaoh�s garden. It was a wonderful location and Yugi couldn�t think of anywhere else he would rather be at this moment.
Atem�s gentle, yet firm hands pulled the other closer to him, his hands gliding along Yugi�s slim body before coming to rest on his hips. He then leaned in and kissed his neck, sucking on it softly. Yugi moaned softly and leaned into that wonderful mouth, his body pressing against the other. The gentle brush making it painfully obvious how aroused both were for the other. Yugi felt a shiver pass through his body and he moaned once more as he brushed himself against the other.
The warmth on his neck vanished a moment and he opened his eyes to look at his lover with a blush. Atem�s gentle hand caressed his face lightly before he leaned in and kissed him gently, but only for a moment was that kiss before he pulled back away from it. He then pulled Yugi along, walking backwards so he continue to look at his young love�he had a special place all set up for them. A place where they could enjoy the pleasures of the other�s company.
As Yugi walked he didn�t speak but he did look around wondering where he was being taken too now. He didn�t mind it though there was something very wonderful in that heated look he was getting from Atem. It made his spine tingle and his groin ache with a need like none before. Atem gave him a smile and then finally spoke softly.
�I have a special place for us. I think you�ll like it.�
Yugi only nodded, memorized by the surroundings, his anticipation and his lover there before him. There was a soft breeze and with that breeze Yugi saw a small alcove draped in gossamer and linen. And it was quickly that he found himself being lead through those shimmering draperies and into another warm and passionate embrace. There was another kiss and then a gentle caress on his face.
�Do you like it?� Atem asked.
All Yugi could do was nod and smile at the other. He was without words at the moment still caught up in the beauty of it all�and his burning desires within. Atem smiled and then leaned in and kissed him once more, a fire behind the kiss that spoke of his own needs and desires. Yugi broke the kiss though this time and he looked at the other and blushed, finally finding his voice.
�I�ve never been with anyone before so be gentle.� his blush increased at his announcement and he looked away.
�I will. I promise.� Atem smiled and kissed him once more softly. �I�ll stop anytime you ask me too.�
Yugi turned back to him and smiled. Then he felt himself being lifted into the other�s arms and from there he was placed on the soft linen sheets of the bed there. Atem loomed over him a moment and planted another passionate kiss to his lips. Then his hands wandered beneath Yugi�s shirt, teasing his flesh and his nipples lightly. How long had both of them wanted this? And now they would finally have the one thing they wanted.
�I love you.�
�And I love you.�
Came the words softly before another moan came from Yugi�s lips as he shivered beneath Atem�s hands. Deftly those strong hand removed the younger one�s shirt, exposing his tender flesh to heated lips and wet tongue. Another moan came from Yugi�s lips and he arched himself towards his lover�s mouth without a care as to how wanton he may have seemed with the action. All he wanted was Atem�touching him�kissing him�sucking him�and forcing his mass into his body. He wanted him to stop the ache that he felt not only within his groin but within his whole body.
The longer Atem�s lips remained in his chest the stronger the pain of his desire throbbed within his groin. The longer Atem teased at his nipples the louder came the moans from his lover. The longer he continued the foreplay the more aroused the both of them would be. It wasn�t just the physical contact either, their mental bond was sending waves of passionate, lustful desires to the other and it added even more to their amorous encounter. Making it both a physical and mental encounter; the combination of the two making for something neither of them had felt before.
�Yugi�� Atem breathed softly the name of his lover and Yugi moaned softly in response.
Yugi had never be involved in anything this erotic in his life. The video�s Joey let him borrow didn�t even come close to this wonderful feeling that was pulsating through him. Never had he felt such love, desire�and sexual need as he did in this moment. The longer the foreplay lasted the more he just wished for Atem to take him. A hand passed over his bulge and he cried out arching himself towards that hand. Again the hand gently passed over it and once more he moaned and arched his back towards it. He let out a cross between and moan and a hiss as he arched himself upwards once more.
Gentle fingers then stroked him sending a wave of pleasure through out his body, his erection responding rather quickly. If he hadn�t been so caught up in the feeling he would�ve been embarrassed by his pre-cum but it didn�t matter to him anymore at this point. All he wanted and longed for was finally going to happen and he didn�t care how needy he was acting about this. He arched his body towards those hands and moaned once more when he felt them on him stroking the underside gently.
�Yugi��
The whispered word was uttered with Atem�s mouth poised over Yugi�s tip and it sent a shiver through his body once more. He arched his body once more towards the mouth that he knew was there wanting that mouth on him to stop the burning pain within his growing mass. His hands still gripped the sheets and he moaned once more in need hoping it would prompt his partner to action. Atem gave a small smile before he plunged his mouth on him, taking the boy�s mass into his wet mouth. Yugi gripped the sheets more and arching himself to that wonderful mouth that was finally on him. This was by far the best sensation yet, Atem�s mouth sucking on him and that tongue swirling around him. He felt his heart rate increase more than before as he arched his body towards him, thrusting his mass into his lovers inviting mouth. Atem�s mouth then buzzed on him sending him into another series of moans and passionate throws. The more Atem worked the more Yugi arched himself towards him, feeling the wonderful sensation of his mass swelling within that warm mouth. Then Yugi was still beneath his lover only shivering slightly went Atem licked him once more. Then he kissed Yugi deeply, Yugi able to taste himself on his lover�s mouth. It was the oddest taste to him but he found that it started another round of burning desire within him. He opened his eyes and pulled back from the kiss to look at Atem there. He took a few deep breathes and smiled as he caressed his face. Then Atem moved off the bed and slowly and sensually removed his own clothing for his lover. Yugi blushed but found himself again aroused by it. How could he not though all things considered.
His found his hands wandering along that chest once Atem had sat back down beside him. Then his hand wandered lower and he gave a purring moan as he stroked him a moment before Atem moved his hand away from him. Yugi pouted as he looked up at him, he wanted to touch his swollen mass as well but it seemed that Atem had other ideas for now anyway. He looked down at Yugi and smiled as he stroked his hair lightly. Perhaps, he was giving both of them a little time to recover before they moved on to the next stage. Maybe it was a good idea in the long run since Yugi was new to this but he still wanted more even as he sat there relaxed.
�Yugi�I�m so lucky to finally be able to be with you. To finally be able to show my love for you.� Atem said softly.
Yugi smiled and nuzzled the hand that was on his cheek. �I�m glad too.� was his soft and somewhat hoarse reply. He then blushed and looked away. �I feel so naughty wanting you like this. Wanting you to take me. It all feels so dirty.�
�It�s not dirty to show your partner how much you desire and love them, Yugi. Don�t ever feel like this is dirty.� he leaned in and gave him a gently kiss and that kiss seemed to make Yugi feel better.
�Alright.� he said once the kiss ended.
�Are you ready?� the elder then asked him.
�Yes��
It was a simple reply and Yugi relaxed himself on the sheets once more as Atem rose and gathered something from the table near-by. Yugi blushed as he wondered what it was for a moment though he had half way figured what it was to some degree. Atem looked over at him and smiled.
�I�m going to warn you that this will feel weird and it will probably hurt. But, I promise it will feel good after a while. But, if the pain gets to be too much just tell me and I�ll stop.�
�I won�t want you to stop though.� he said with a blush and Atem smiled a little.
�I just wanted to give you fair warning, aibou.�
�I trust you.�
He was given another smile and soon Atem joined him on the bed once more. In his hands was a small glass vial. He looked from it to Yugi and he blushed slightly himself. Yugi chuckled softly and tilted his head slightly in question. Atem cleared his throat slightly and then he moved his hand over Yugi�s body once more, the action being rewarded with a soft moan from his partner and he gave a slight chuckle. He then opened innocent violet eyes at him a smile on his face as he reached up and caressed Atem�s cheek.
�I want to be with you in the manner that two lovers are, Atem. Don�t make me wait any longer.�
A blush came to Atem�s face once more as he beheld those words coming from the mouth of his innocent former light. He chuckled and ran a hand through his spiky hair lightly. Then he leaned in and kissed the other.
::Now I�m nervous.:: Atem said in their link.
::Don�t be.:: Yugi replied softly.
The kiss deepened and Atem�s hands wandered along his love once more slowly, caressing the tender flesh along his stomach and groin area. His hand then grazed over the already swelling member in passing before his hand finally rested on Yugi�s thigh. He gently rubbed his hand there a moment as he continued to explore his lover�s mouth. He would distract Yugi from any pain by continuing to kiss him as he worked.
Soft moans somehow made it through Yugi�s lips at the touch and he found himself arching his body once more to that hand on him. He wanted Atem badly and his swelling manhood proved that fact. It was wonderful to feel Atem�s hands and mouth on him in a way he never thought would happen�except in dreams. Of course, sadly, this was a dream but there was something very real about it all and it would be hard to prove to Yugi that it was anything otherwise at this point.
::I�ll try and be gentle.:: said Atem once more.
Yugi gave a mental nod as Atem�s mouth moved away from his. He blinked slightly in confusion as he opened his eyes fully and looked at the other. He had the vial in his hands once more and was pouring the contents of it into his palms. It smelled sweet and yet spicy�exotic to Yugi�s nose and he smiled as he felt another shiver of anticipation run through his body.
Leaning in once more Atem took Yugi�s lips to his own and kissed him deeply as his lubricated hand moved down on Yugi, caressing his swollen part a moment and coating it thinly in the warm oil. Yugi moaned and shivered a moment before that hand moved further back in his private area, seeking out the opening it was destined for. Atem moved his finger lightly over the opening and Yugi shivered in pleasure at the touch. He smiled at the reaction and continued to stroke the opening the oil becoming thinly layered over it.
At least so far nothing had hurt, it had all be wonderful sensation after wonderful sensation each one building to that perfect moment. But, that soon ended when Yugi felt Atem force a finger into him, his entire body stiffened and he pulled out of the kiss they were in to yelp in pain. Atem quickly withdrew his finger and looked down at his love with a frown.
�It hurt. I�m sorry.� Atem looked down and caressed Yugi�s cheek lightly.
�It�s alright. It was just a little shocking was all.� he gave a small chuckle to try and reassure the other. �Besides, what's pleasure without a little pain.�
�That was a rather clichéd thing to say, aibou.� was the reply and Yugi only smiled and nodded. �I�ll try and making it less shocking.�
He once more lathered his hand in the oil and then placed his hand back at the same location. He looked into Yugi�s eyes and smiled at him before he kissed him again. He slipped his finger into him again and this time Yugi didn�t jump in pain though he did hiss slightly but he vowed that he wouldn�t cry out again no matter how much it hurt. Atem�s finger started to move in and out lightly and Yugi soon forgot about the pain as this was starting to feel good if not slightly odd. Then his first finger was joined by another and this action made Yugi wince in their kiss once more and his body naturally tightened making it hard for Atem to move his finger or anything else through him.
::Relax.:: came the gentle voice in his head.
::It feels odd.::
::I know it does.::
Atem started to calm and relax his lover gently via their bond. It was something that Yugi didn�t expect but it was of great comfort to him and soon his body relaxed once more and Atem was able to continue his work of preparing his lover for his eventual entrance into him. He wanted to make sure that Yugi was ready in this manner before he even considered placing himself within him. His fingers continued to work stretching him out, soft moans now replacing any hint of pain from Yugi and Atem smiled. He knew it was time now and he felt himself shiver at the thought. He would finally be making Yugi his. He removed his fingers and then took the vial one last time into his hands.
Yugi watched him a moment and smiled; how he longed to have Atem like this. He looked over the pharaoh�s body his eyes lingering on a certain section of the tanned flesh. Soon he would know what it felt like, his dreams would all be coming true in a matter of seconds and he moaned softly. The moan made Atem look at him and he smiled once more as he leaned in and kissed him while his own hand went to his swollen part and started to lather himself with the oil. He shivered as he worked but he knew he had to lubricate himself well otherwise he might hurt Yugi more than he wanted.
Lips left Yugi�s and Atem moved to the end of the bed. He spread Yugi�s legs lightly and then touched that precious opening once more with his fingers watching Yugi wiggle in pleasure and moan at the touch. Then he gently bent Yugi�s left knee and moved his leg to the side. The right leg he took into his hands and placed upwards over his shoulder, resting it there gently. With a sigh he placed himself at the opening and then looked down at his lover.
�I love you, aibou. You�re all that I�ve ever wanted and more.�
He didn�t delay then in making Yugi his. With a fluid motion he thrusted himself into his young lover. Yugi�s hands gripped the sheets and a cry came from his mouth, tears rolling down his cheeks at the pain of the penetration. He hadn�t thought it would hurt so but he bit his lower lip to keep from crying out once more. Then he opened his eyes and looked up at Atem, the look on his lover�s face made him feel better. He never thought he would see such a look on the other and that gave him comfort for the pain.
�Yugi�.aibou�� came Atem�s heated words as he thrust himself deeply within the other causing Yugi to moan as well and arch to meet the thrusts.
It was just as wonderful as he thought it would be once the pain ended. They each worked to pleasure the other; Yugi meeting each thrust and Atem plunging himself deep within his lover. It was indeed as one would�ve dreamed it to be only ten times better for not being a dream�
�Yugi, aibou.�
�Atem��
They continued to speak each other�s names in a hushed whisper as they still moved in time to the pace that had been set by Atem. It felt so nice to feel that mass within his body and Yugi longed for the moment to never end. He wanted nothing more than to continue this way with his lover from now until he died even though that was a slightly silly thing to want he still wished for it. Then Atem paused in his thrusting and his body shivered before he gave a low moan that made Yugi shiver in pleasure as well. He arched himself upwards to meet him as he felt Atem throb within. He felt himself throbbing too and only a few moments passed before both of them released their building pleasures. Then they were both still the only sound being heard where their gasping breathes.
�I love you.�
Yugi nodded and soon his dream gave way into the harsh reality of his surroundings. The sun was inching along the bed of his room where he lay sprawled over the sheets, his breathing heavy and his body obviously having been pleasured by the dream.
�I love you too.� he whispered before he awoke suddenly confused a moment by his surroundings and confused by the lack of a very important presence there. �Atem?�
Then he realized -it had all been a dream. That romantic interlude was nothing more than that. There was nothing substantial in the moment and it made his heart ache even more. He covered his face and started to sob softly not wanting to alert the others to him being awake. But, then a familiar smell came to his nose and he looked around the room�sitting on the nightstand was a glass vial very much like the one within his dream�and the scent the very same from his dream.
Could there have been something more substantial to his dream after all?
