A/N: Hey y'all! Welcome back for the next chappie of Amber Scars. Hopefully y'all are liking this so far along with its progression and such. I try my best with things even though obviously I do doubt my work. *shrugs* That happens I suppose. Indeed I do love what I write even though that's more so towards some stories than others. Hehes
Anyways, enough of me blathering on. I hope y'all enjoy what happens this time. Please remember to favorite, follow, vote, etc. along with leaving some nice reviews. Your feedback is always appreciated.
Chapter 6: Contract
Still locked in the room he's in, Akefia looked up at the ceiling out of boredom. He wondered as to when his partner would come for him. It shouldn't be that much longer considering he does have Seto helping him out. So, it's just a matter of time until Zorc arrives. He's been given food and drink when he needs it along with other necessities. Having to wait on someone to get him out of here is getting on his nerves. Never in his eternal life had the infamous specter thought that he would be in this type of predicament. Then all of a sudden he heard a commotion outside. Raising a brow, he wondered if that's what he thinks it could be. Lying in wait, Akefia stared at the door. Eventually it opened after some more hubbub happened outside. When it did open there's the all too familiar ruby coals and raven hair that he has oddly missed. No, he didn't think that he would during time apart, but he knew deep down inside that Zorc is indeed his soulmate.
"Good, finally found you. It's about damn time," muttered the demon grumpily.
"At least you did," shrugged Akefia, getting up to move close to him, figuring this wouldn't be an easy way out.
"True... There's been something signed between Dartz and I," his Master began to explain to his mate. "It's that we have visitation rights."
"Huh?" This just proved to confuse Akefia, not sure what this could possibly mean.
"Well, this is how you're able to return. We're giving one another allotted time either with you or each other," explained his partner, knowing this would prove to be a difficult thing to swallow even though he knew that Akefia can be capable of taking it even though it'll be a transition.
"Oh, I see," frowned the white haired male, knowing he would need to figure out how to handle this, knowing that his Master expected a lot from him, hoping that he wouldn't fail or disappoint him. "Does this mean that Dartz is my Master as well?"
"Yes, that would be correct," murmured the teal haired serpentine creature, pleased to see that he seemed to be taking things well. "So, Zorc has you for now. But in due time you'll return to me or your Master will spend time with me. Depends on how things go."
"Makes sense," shrugged Akefia, knowing he has no say in this except to accept it, knowing that Zorc has his best interest at heart even though it can be skewed sometimes.
"Good," the two smirked in a pleased manner, surprised that it had gone over better than expected.
"Let's return home, shall we?" Offered Zorc, extending a hand towards him.
Eyeing it skeptically, Akefia hesitantly accepted it. Soon enough the two disappeared within a swirl of ruby and onyx. Suddenly they reappeared within the demon king's castle. It felt better to be back in a place he did indeed call home. True, the circumstances of how things came about are strange, but Akefia has grown used to it. Besides, in an odd way or another, Zorc has helped him figure out that some emotions aren't seen as weakness considering they can't be avoided. He had helped erase some of the hurt and confusion that occurred from the destruction of his home and family way back when. Sometimes he idly wondered what happened to his half-brother. Maybe someday soon he would try to go find him whenever he's given the chance.
"You'll be seeing him soon enough. We're supposed to go see the covens in a few days time more or less. Then you'll be reunited with Yami once more."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie six! I know it's short, but I completely removed what happened in BS during this chappie and redid it in place of what transpired here. Hopefully y'all enjoyed how this went down. Next time we'll be going back to the epicness known as Puzzle and Tender. Hehes
